Depending on the supplied disc, the unit can be used for metal or wood, for trimming pipes. But be aware that the power of the unit may not be enough to cut the ends of the pipes. Decide on the specifications of your angle grinder to find out if the machine is capable of cutting pipes, or if it is only suitable for working with wood.
