Installing an electronic lock with your own hands. The use of an electric lock on the front door - installation and configuration How to make an electric coded lock on the door

By purchasing a mechanical lock, you can save money, because it is an excellent a budget option... But if there is a need for increased reliability and efficiency, it is recommended to choose models electromagnetic type... They are installed on front doors in private houses or apartments. Such locks differ from mechanical testers that run on electricity, although the energy consumption is insignificant, but extra kilowatts still run up. Electromagnetic locks can be operated from rechargeable batteries... This will facilitate installation as you do not have to run a wire to the nearest power source.

Varieties

This category of locks is divided into two subgroups: electronic and magnetic. The first type of device must be programmed by yourself. This is done in different ways. Some products are equipped with a scheme for receiving digital combinations, the operation of which is based on manual entry using the keyboard. Others require the reception of a special radio signal that comes from a key programmed for a specific code.

Electronic locks

For the lock system to work flawlessly, it needs power supply... Some models are equipped with a special display. The buttons on the lock have different design- conventional push or touch.

The magnetic structure also requires power from the mains or batteries, only the principle of operation is completely different. The main part in this system is the magnetic key. He is considered to be the carrier of the code. It looks like a large pill or keychain. To unlock the door with this key, touch the plate that receives the signal, after which the mechanism is triggered, and door structure opens.

The electronic door lock can be assembled by hand. First you have to find the tools and parts you need for manufacturing. The choice of such elements depends on many factors; there is no universal set of parts and tools.

Lock complete set

Electronic locks consist of several components:

  • Locking device. If this element is mortise, it is attached directly to the canvas itself, and the invoice is attached on top of the structure. The lock is equipped with a body, inside it there are crossbars that hold the shutters in the "closed" position. There is also Electrical engine, which drives the crossbars. Some models have door handles on the case.

Electronic lock locking device
  • Striker plate. It is attached to the jamb, with its help the crossbars are held in the "closed" position.

Striker plate for electronic lock
  • Control block. Contains a device that processes an incoming signal to operate the lock. This unit also includes batteries, which are connected at the moment when the electricity goes out. The unit is connected to a power source - an outlet.

Control block
  • A device that is designed to read information from the key used.

Electric locks are divided into:

  • code;
  • biometric;
  • built-in invisible locks.

The electronic code device opens the door when dialing a code using special buttons on the panel. The biometric lock is triggered when it recognizes a fingerprint or retina. The invisible lock is opened by a signal from a special key-fob.

Code electronic lock

Electronic locks are often equipped with a special closer, which allows the shutters to close smoothly and silently. This system extends the operating period of the locking mechanism, connects to the intercom, which, in turn, can open the doors remotely.

Electronic lock placement

Installation of mortise and overhead devices is different. The latter are often used for installation on input metal doors, wickets or Garage Doors... To properly install such a device, you will need:

  • construction pencil or marker;
  • square;
  • screwdriver;
  • electric drill with drills of the required diameter;
  • yardstick.

These tools will help you make the correct markings on the plane of the canvas and at the location of the mechanism. The first step is device placement. To do this, you need to perform the following manipulations:

  • Step back from the floor level according to the standard 90-110 cm.Apply a mark on this area. Then mark the location of the locking mechanism, housing, fasteners.
  • The markup can be simplified - take the body, attach it to the canvas, circle it with a pencil.
  • Drill holes with an electric drill in the places where the fastener marks are. Use a little drill smaller than bolts.
  • Then make a through hole in the place where the body and the reading mechanism are connected. Install and fix the housing in the prepared area.

It's time to place the striker plate that supports the striker bars. They are installed in the same way as the enclosure, according to a predetermined plan:

  • Mark the side of the door, on the jamb. When determining the location for the plank, it is important to consider the area for installing the lock. It is best to close the door first and mark where the crossbars are located. Add labels for fasteners.
  • Use an electric drill to make holes for the bolts of the required diameter.
  • Fasten the striker in the prepared place so that the crossbars fit into it exactly. If they go tight and cling to the bar, adjustment will be required, as friction is unacceptable.

After that, you need to install a reader and other equipment, without which the lock will not work. To do this, it is important to adhere to the following rules:

  • The reader is mounted on back side sash. They mount it as close as possible to the installed lock so that during contact opening the device can be combined with the locking mechanism using wires.
  • The control unit, which is connected to the mains adapter, is located next to the existing power supply indoors.
  • The electric wires that connect all these parts are placed in special corrugated tubes or boxes. This will protect the devices from influence high humidity, and the appearance of the door will become aesthetically pleasing.

Electronic mortise lock

Such a lock cannot be installed quickly, this task is much more difficult. To carry out the installation correctly, it will be necessary to make recesses in the canvas and on the box for the location of the body and the striker.

Mortise electronic lock
  • remove the canvas from the hinges;
  • make a markup for a recess, it should be slightly larger than the dimensions of the lock itself (by 2 or 3 mm);
  • chisel or using electric drill recess on the box and door leaf;
  • if irregularities or jags are formed, thoroughly clean them;
  • if the doors are metal, you will have to use a special tool.

After installing the lock case and other devices, you can connect the lock. Everything you need for this is included. If there is no connection diagram, then the Internet will help, where you can find a suitable method and make the connection in the correct way.

How to make an electronic lock yourself is shown in this video:

This project is modular, i.e. you can connect / disconnect different elements and get different functionality... The pictures above show the option with full functionality, namely:

  • Locking mechanism... Serves for OPENING and CLOSING the door. This project covers the use of three different mechanisms:
    • Servo. There are big ones, there are small ones. Very compact and with a heavy bolt is a great option
    • Electric drive of the car door lock. A big and powerful thing, but it eats just insane currents
    • Solenoid latch. A good option as it slams itself

    In the firmware settings, you can choose any of three types (setting lock_type)

  • Button inside... Serves to OPEN and CLOSE the door from the inside. Can be placed on the door handle (palm or finger side), on the door itself, or on the jamb
  • Button outside... Serves for CLOSING the door, as well as for AWAKENING from energy saving. Can be placed on the door handle (palm or finger side), on the door itself, or on the jamb
  • End stop to close the door. Serves to automatically close the lock when the door is closed. They can be:
    • Tact button
    • Hall sensor + magnet on the door itself
    • Reed switch + magnet on the door itself
  • Secret access reset button... Serves to reset the password / enter a new password / memorize a new key / combination, etc. May be hidden somewhere in the case
  • Light-emitting diode to indicate work. RGB LED, use red and green colors(when mixed, they give yellow):
    • Lights up green - the lock is OPEN. Burns so as not to forget to close the door
    • Solid yellow - the system has woken up and is awaiting password entry
    • Blinking red - the battery is dead

Any of these elements can be excluded from the system:

  • We remove the limit switch. In the firmware in the settings, we also disable it (setting tail_button). Now to close the lock, you need to press the button
  • We remove the outer button. In the firmware in the settings, we also disable it (setting wake_button). Now the system does not need to be woken up, it wakes up by itself (energy consumption is slightly higher). And also we no longer have a close button on the front of the door, and we need a limit switch. Either the lock is the heck
  • We remove the inner button. This option is suitable for cabinets and safes. You don't need to change anything in the settings
  • We remove the LED. You don't need to change anything in the settings
  • The access reset button can be unsoldered after the first use, or you can rewrite the code for yourself
  • Door closed, pressed OUTSIDE - wake up, wait for password / RFID tag / electronic key / fingerprint
  • The door is closed, the system has woken up, waiting for the password to be entered. The time can be adjusted (setting sleep_time)
  • The door is closed, a password / tag / key has been entered, etc. - open
  • Door closed, pressed INSIDE - open
  • Door open, pressed OUT - close
  • Door open, pressed INSIDE - close
  • The door is open, the END is pressed - close

The lock provides for battery operation in low power saving mode (turn on turn off: setting sleep_enable), namely:

  • Wake up every few seconds, monitor the EVENT (optional if there is no button outside. You can enable it in the setting wake_button)
  • Every few minutes, monitor the voltage of Akum (on / off setting battery_monitor)
  • If Akum is discharged (voltage is set in the setting bat_low):
    • open the door (optional, can be configured in the firmware open_bat_low)
    • prohibit further opening and closing
    • when the buttons are pressed, blink red LED
    • stop monitoring the EVENT (i.e. enter password / tag, etc.)

When the system is awake, press the change password button (hidden button). We fall into password change mode:
Enter the password from numbers ( MAXIMUM 10 FIGURES !!!)

  • When you press *, the password is saved in memory and the system exits from changing the password
  • When you press #, the password is reset (you can enter it again)
  • If you do not press anything for 10 seconds, we will automatically exit the password change mode, the password will remain old

When the system is awake (woke up by buttons or sleep is disabled), press * to enter the password entry mode
If the system sleeps and periodically wakes up to check the EVENT, then press * and hold until the red LED lights up
Password input mode:

  • Password processing is done in such a way that the correct password is counted only when the correct sequence of numbers is typed, that is, if the password is 345, then any numbers can be entered until the sequence 345 appears, i.e. 30984570345 will open the lock as it ends in 345.
  • If the password is entered correctly, the door will open
  • If you do not press anything, after 10 seconds the system will return to normal (standby) mode
  • If you press #, we will immediately exit the password entry mode
  • If you press the secret button for changing the password in the password input mode, then we will also exit

The article will tell you about the designs of electronic locks available on the market, from it you will learn the principle of operation of locking mechanisms, the types of electronic locks control systems used. Reading will help make right choice electronic lock.

The use of electromagnets and servo drives has changed the concept of locks. A new generation of locking mechanisms uses an electrical impulse (usually 12 V) to move the bolt or create downforce. direct current). This made it possible to use electromechanical locks in the locking part of the door, which differ in design from classical mechanical locks, which in general increases the security of the home from the penetration of unauthorized persons.

With the help of microprocessor control systems associated with electromagnetic or electromechanical locks, access to the premises of a certain circle of people is easily organized, remote control locking mechanism of the door or opening the door without a classic key. All this is practically impossible to implement on the basis of standard mechanical locks.

Due to the simplicity of the design, electromagnetic and electromechanical locks are able to withstand tens of thousands of opening-closing cycles without fail, which is beyond the power of conventional mechanical locks.

According to the principle of organization of the locking mechanism, modern electromechanical locks can be conditionally divided into the following main groups:

  1. Electric transom locks.
  2. Invisible locks.
  3. Electromotor locks.
  4. Electric latches.
  5. Electromechanical locks.

According to the control systems installed in them, the locks can be conditionally divided into four types.

Radiocontroller

These systems can recognize both specialized key fobs and work on standard frequencies of Wi-Fi or Bluetooth networks. In the latter version, a standard tablet or smartphone can be used as a "key".

Code keyboards

The simplest and most common technical solution for electronic locks control systems. To activate the lock mechanism, it is enough to enter a certain code, so there is no need for additional purchase of various types of keys.

The main "disease" of this control system is the erroneous actuation or non-actuation of the keys of the digital console, which is associated with the peculiarities of its design. Over time, the contact plates oxidize and may not close the contact or distort the supplied signal, which leads to erroneous operation of the buttons. Therefore, all locks with keypads require regular maintenance.

Contact Key Controllers

One of the most common solutions in the market for electronic locks. The lock allows you to memorize a certain number of contact keys made in the form of a keychain or plastic card with magnetic tape. The system has a high degree of reliability.

Proximity Key Controllers

This system allows you to work with special radio-magnetic cards, which are triggered remotely (at a distance of 10-15 cm from the reader).

Electronic lock combining control by means of a code, a contact key and a remote control

Let's consider in detail all types of electronic locks, their advantages and disadvantages.

Electromagnetic locks

Electromagnetic locks are less similar to classic mechanical locks than all other electronic locks. They consist of three main parts:

  1. Electromagnet plates.
  2. Mating metal plate.
  3. Control systems.

These electronic locks are widely used as a locking mechanism on metal driveways. The microprocessor system that controls them works both in the intercom mode (reads and processes information from the keyboard and remote handsets) and analyzes information from the contact keys.

Advantages

Due to the high reliability of the electromagnetic lock in combination with a significant force of attraction of the plate to the lock (50-500 kg), such a door guarantees a sufficient degree of protection of the premises from third-party intrusion. Installed electromagnets and the street part of the electronic lock control system are protected from moisture, which increases their reliability.

Electromagnetic lock 230 kg

After disconnecting from the mains, electromagnetic locks can work for a short time from a battery connected to the control system. After the battery is discharged, the electromagnetic lock will automatically open.

disadvantages

The disadvantage of this system is the weak noise immunity of the communication lines of the control system with the feedback tubes installed in each apartment, which can lead to the failure of the entire system during a severe thunderstorm.

Self-repair and installation of this system is rarely done, since it involves a large amount of installation works with the subsequent adjustment of the control system.

Electric transom locks

This type of locks is similar in appearance to the classic mechanical bolt lock. Can be completed different systems control, which ensures its versatility.

The system includes an electromagnetic wire of the bolt, which can be used both to open and close the door. Some models, thanks to the built-in spring return mechanisms, provide automatic closing or opening of the lock in case of power failure.

Advantages

Electromagnetic mechanisms installed in these locks have high reliability, significantly exceeding mechanical locks of the same class. A number of models are equipped with a door state monitoring system, which allows to exclude spontaneous operation of the locking mechanism in its open state.

All models are easy to install and configure, installation and maintenance work does not require special knowledge, which has led to their high popularity.

disadvantages

Inability to open the door in the absence of power supply to the lock.

Since this lock consists of an electromagnet, return springs and electronic system control, its repair is reduced to checking the operability of the magnet and the condition of the springs, and maintenance is limited to lubricating the moving parts and replacing the bushings and return springs. If the lock is equipped with a control system that works with proximity keys or with radio control, they can be used as "invisible" keys.

Invisible locks

This type of lock is specially designed for hidden installation... Both electronic transom locks and compact latches can be used as these locks. Invisible locks can be installed in different parts of the door leaf, or built into standard mechanical locks, which significantly increases their resistance to burglary.

The complete set with the lock is supplied with a control system that reads out the signals transmitted over the radio channel. Radio networks can be used as a signal source for opening and closing the electronic lock.

The lock is powered from a separate power supply unit (usually 12 or 5 V DC). For independent power supply to the lock during a power outage, auxiliary battery power supplies are used. When buying an invisible lock, you need to pay attention to the condition of the locking tab, the best option- when the tongue is initially retracted.

Important: in the event of a prolonged power failure, the self-closing lock cannot be opened.

Advantages

This lock is quite simple in its design and contains a minimum number of working units, which makes it easy to adjust and, if necessary, to be repaired.

disadvantages

It cannot be used as a separate locking mechanism due to the simplicity of the design.

Electromotor locks

This type of locks does not differ in its capabilities from electric transom locks. Its main difference is the use of a compact electric motor to move the locking mechanism.

A feature of some locks that use an electric motor as a driving element is their integration into a single control unit. Control units can process information both from the keypad and from different types of key fobs.

These electromotive locks are installed directly on classic mechanical locks with a cylindrical cylinder. With their help, you can easily and with minimal cost time and effort to re-equip the classic mechanical lock, replacing the usual lock cylinder with an electromotive one.

An example of an electromotor stealth lock

Advantages

Low power consumption and, as a result, the possibility of long-term operation when powered by classic finger batteries.

The disadvantages can also be attributed to the complexity of the mechanism that requires the implementation of regular Maintenance, including the maintenance of the locking mechanism controlled by a mechanical and electrical drive.

The principle of operation of an electromechanical lock

Ready-made solutions based on electronic locks of various types:

Manufacturer, lock type Locking mechanism type Lock body type Control price, rub.
ATIS LOCK electronic lock on contact keys electromagnet and mechanical key overhead remote from intercom, contact key fob 4000
Electronic lock ATIS AM 280 on key chains electromagnet mortise 4000
Electric transom lock AB700A on key chains electromagnet mortise remote from the intercom, radio key-fob 4200
ATIS AM 280 electronic lock on cards electromagnet mortise remote from intercom, card 4600
Universal coded electronic lock AM 280 electromagnet mortise code keypad, magnetic key fobs, cards 5730
Motor electromechanical lock "Dori-4" Classic electromotive overhead code keypad 9370

Thanks to the simple combination of electric locks with different types control systems, you can form any access system of complexity, providing high level burglar protection.

The possibility of remote opening or processing by the control system of wireless radio signals of various frequencies and the simplicity of design are the main advantages of electronic locks over mechanical ones. The simplicity of the design of the actuators and the versatility of control systems increase the reliability of systems built on their basis.

We have replenishment of the section useful homemade products for home: do-it-yourself invisible invisible lock.

Thieves have learned to open a mechanical lock of any complexity long ago. It is more difficult with a combination lock, but they find ways to bypass all its secrets.

However, the lock can be opened only if the location of the unlocking device is known, for example, a keyhole, a keypad for a door, etc.

Realizing this, invisible locks were developed without a keyhole and keys, where the unlocking devices are made in the form of coded or infrared key fobs, GPS radio telephones, etc.

It seemed - would be impossible to open such a lock. However, they do.

For example, they scan the key fob code with special devices. We learned to do everything, even rob ATMs by reading the bank card code.

In all these systems, there is a common drawback: the device (key, key fob, etc.) is concentrated in one place, having determined which, the thief opens the lock.

Finding the key is not a problem for him, picking up the code too, the key fob can be scanned.

The proposed lock differs from the known ones in that the unlocking elements of the lock (hereinafter referred to as keys) are spaced, duplicated many times and the lock can be opened only when all keys are activated.

Since the keys can be spaced a considerable distance, this lock is especially convenient for summer cottages, where thieves often hunt.

One of the keys can be located, for example, in a freestanding toilet. It would never occur to anyone that having visited the toilet, a person opened the house.

I can hardly imagine how such a lock can be opened without knowing the number, the principle of operation of the spaced keys and their location, especially since the lock itself with outside the door is not visible.

Design and principle of operation

The lock (Fig. 1) consists of a housing 1, which houses a DC electric motor 2 DPR 42 12v. 2500 rpm, which is connected by a screw 5 with a crossbar 3.

The screw pitch is 0.3 ... 0.5 mm. The bolt moves 20 mm at the rated engine speed. in one to two seconds.

The lock closes and opens with a simple click.

There is an annular groove on the crossbar, into which balls 8 fall when it moves. The balls serve as a transmission link between the crossbar and microswitches 6 and 7. The microswitches are designed to stop the engine. When the next ball enters the groove, the corresponding switch turns off the engine. The distance between the switches determines the movement of the bolt. Pin 4 prevents the deadbolt from rotating.

Fig. 1

The lock control is shown in Fig. 2. The lock is open as in Figure 1.

Legend: P - 12V relay. with two changeover contacts kP1 and kP2. Bell button K5. Microswitches K2 and K3 working in antiphase. When one is on, the other is off.

Electric motor M. Tumbler K4. Reed switch GK. Blocking contact K1. circuits - 12v.

Closing the lock

To close the lock, you must close the door tightly. In this case, the previously open, blocking contact K1 closes (Fig. 3)

Fig. 3

Contact K1, these are two metal plates, fixed on the door and one closing on the door frame. (Fig. 4).

The contact prevents the possibility of closing the lock with open or not tightly closed. After closing the door, press the K5 button located on the outside of the door. At the same time, relay P is triggered, throws contacts KP1 and KP2 to the position shown in Figure 3 and turns on the engine M.

After one to two seconds, the engine will move the deadbolt to the position shown in Figure 5 and open contact K3. Relay P will be de-energized, contacts KP1 and KP2 will take a neutral position and turn off the engine. Fig. 6. The lock will be closed.

Rice. 5

After closing the lock, button 5 is disabled by contact K3. Any manipulations with this button, which may interest a thief, long presses or even wire breaks will not interfere with opening the lock and repairing the damage.

Fig. 6

Opening the castle

To open the lock, you need to connect (short-circuit) the points of the circuit A and B (Fig. 7).

Fig. 7

You can do this different ways... For example, turn on the contact of the K4 toggle switch and bring the magnet to the main switch. (Fig. 7).

The reed switch can be hidden under the door trim. Or use a regular lighting as K4. If you screw in the lamp, the circuit will close. There are many options. There is a wide field for imagination. Only one thing is important. It is necessary to spread the keys (serially connected elements) further away and, if possible, mask them.

The lock opening phase is shown in Figure 7. After the engine is turned on, the bolt moved to the open state (Figure 1) will open the K2 contact and turn off the motor.

Fig. 8

The door can now be opened by opening contact K1. The circuit has returned to its initial state (Fig. 2). By closing the door and pressing K5, you can close the door again according to the algorithm described above.

Note

For correct work of the lock, the direction of rotation of the motor must be consistent with the direction of the thread of the screw 5. For the right-hand thread, in the phase of opening the lock, the motor must rotate counterclockwise when viewed from the shaft side.

After the first steel door was invented, installed on the front of the house, many began to think about how to protect their house from uninvited guests... Locks are structures for protecting premises that have been manufactured for a very long time. Exists different kinds, configuration, features of work and similar differences, however, the essence of the mechanism remains completely unchanged, since the design is designed to block access to the room. Despite the fact that there are many modern technologies, installations such as a coded mechanical lock, the production of which began in the last century, continue to enjoy popularity. Initially, they were installed on safes, and over time, they were also used in the installation of a door in ordinary apartments, garages, porches and private houses.

The device of combination locks consists in the fact that they do not have a keyhole, due to which they become more reliable, wear-resistant and durable. The likelihood of being hacked is significantly reduced. By setting a certain coding of the cylinders and rollers that make up the lock, you can customize the lock yourself, and installation can be carried out on doors from various canvases, for example: metal, plastic and wood. It is desirable that the thickness of the door is at least 3 cm, which will also complicate the burglary process for intruders.

Installation diagram of the lock on front door with your own hands is very simple, as for this you need:

  • Choose a mechanism for locking the door in relation to the width and thickness of the structure;
  • Make a markup of the location of the future location of the product;
  • Drill holes in the door with a drill to install the lock case;
  • Install the code panel;
  • Assemble the locking mechanism;
  • Carry out installation and fixation of prefabricated parts of the mechanism;

In conclusion, you need to configure the code combination and check the functionality of the product.

How to make a combination lock: the choice of variety

To install a push-button door lock you will first need to select its type. They are: overhead and mortise. To install an overhead lock, simply install it on the surface of the door, and the strip with the bolt located in it on the jamb of the door frame. Installation will not take more than 15 minutes. Installing a mortise combination lock can be a lot of trouble and this is where special attention and a competent approach is required.

As a rule, each magnetic door lock has instructions from the manufacturer, which must be followed as clearly as possible:

  1. A lock template is created, which is done by hand. Some manufacturers put it in a kit, and this greatly simplifies the installation process. Use chalk or pencil to mark the door leaf. Thus, on the door on both sides, the location of the structure will be marked.
  2. To make a niche on the door leaf for installing a lock, you can use a chisel or special attachment on the drill.
  3. Next, holes are drilled to install the bolts.
  4. Where the crossbar of the lock structure is located, a recess must be made, and the dimensions must fully correspond to the front plate.
  5. After the completion of such work, the combination lock is put in its rightful place and securely bolted.
  6. The front plate is being installed.
  7. Need to door jamb make markings for mounting the locking bar, into which the crossbar will be placed. To carry out this process it is enough to grease one of the crossbars with chalk, due to which a mark will be made on the jamb.
  8. A recess is made in the jamb for the bar, and you also need to make markings for the holes in order to install it. The installation process is fully consistent with the installation of the front plate.
  9. At the end, you need to fix the counter or locking part of the lock.

Judging by the above described actions, we can conclude that the installation of a mortise combination lock is similar to the installation of other types of locks in the same way.

Repair of combination locks

To make repairs on a structure such as a digital combination lock, it does not take too much effort, since basically renovation work is to recode the structure. In addition, preventive recoding is required from time to time in order to increase the safety of the product.

To change the code on the lock, a partial analysis of the structure is required in order to gain access to the buttons from the inside, for which you need to unscrew the cover with buttons.

Next, you need to pay attention to the plates located inside, when pressed, the locking mechanism is activated, and each of them has a specially made cut. Separate visually working and unused plates. To change the code, rotate the required plates in the opposite direction, or in other words, make other buttons active.

DIY invisible lock

The electronic invisible lock is additional device, through which you can increase the security of an apartment, house or any other premises. Outside, the electric lock is completely invisible, but inside it is a reliable installation that can prevent intruders from getting inside. To make such an electromagnetic lock with your own hands, you can use the most common car door actuator from a central lock, and it is controlled or, in other words, blocking is carried out by the most ordinary alarm system.

The essence of such invisibility is to block one keyhole bolt in the position when it is pushed forward:

  1. Due to the fact that the car anti-theft alarm device has enough wires, moreover, a long type, it is possible to carry out competent and easy installation.
  2. It is required to choose a place for the subsequent mounting of the actuator, since the pin that will be extended must fit exactly into the crossbar when it is extended.
  3. Next, you need to make accurate markings on top bar the door frame and it is drilled through. Then a mark will be made on the crossbar, along which an additional through hole will be drilled.
  4. When the bolt is drilled in the hole, countersink is made so that the actuator pin fits there as accurately as possible.
  5. Due to the strip that comes with the kit, you need to fix the actuator to the door frame.
  6. Further on door frame a guide is installed from 1 pin, and an end-type switch so that it is triggered to open the door.
  7. It is mandatory to install an alarm unit, as well as all related elements located in a decorative metal box. The installation of the box is carried out on the surface of the wall next to the door from the inside of the room.
  8. The box closes tightly.
  9. An LED indicator or, in other words, an alarm is connected to the doorbell button.
  10. The structure is ready for use.

If a power connection is required, you can do this using a stabilized unit, which has an output voltage of 12 V and a current of at least 1 A. pantry or on the balcony.
