JSC Federal passenger company» was established in 2006 by order of the Federal Passenger Directorate of Russian Railways in the course of the structural reform of railway transport.

The main task of the joint-stock company is the organization and management of passenger rail transportation on long-distance routes.

Independent activity as a carrier joint-stock company beginning in 2010. The authorized capital of the enterprise was the property of Russian Railways and the personnel carrying out transportation on long-distance routes.

The joint-stock company has 15 regional branches located on the territory of Russia, passenger carriage depots, carriage sections, railway agencies, a Transportation Organization Center Vehicle and a carriage section of the central direction.

The organization owns three subsidiaries: NTS LLC, Travel-Tour LLC, FPK-Logistics LLC.

Educational and methodological center

For the high-quality training of personnel, a training and methodological center has been created in the company. Hello! Extremely outraged technical condition car No. 02 of train No. 115/116 Adler-St. Petersburg On September 26, I got into the indicated carriage of the station Loo and drove for two days to my station and suffered from unbearable stuffiness like all the passengers of this car. According to the conductor, the ventilation does not work, although when buying a ticket for 90 days, the cashier asked if the car needed an air conditioner and a bio toilet, in fact the car was (all rusty and sealed). JSC "FPK"

JSC Federal Passenger Company (JSC FPK) is a subsidiary of Russian Railways, it owns the majority of passenger traffic on long-distance trains. All new passenger cars meet high comfort requirements, but there are still many old cars that have remained from the Soviet era. Let's consider several types of trains belonging to JSC FPK.

Non-branded trains

They are distinguished by more low level services and "Soviet" cars. The shelves are upholstered in burgundy faux leather. Toilets are closed at stations. Very few outlets. "Premium" -trains

"Premium" are positioned as trains superior comfort... They differ from other branded trains by their higher speed (which means less travel time) and the availability of additional services (for example, there is a TV in the compartment carriage).

The "Premium" lineups appeared in 2009. They followed several directions, but later some of the trains were canceled due to low traffic or renamed. Now "Premium" trains run from Moscow in three directions: Adler, Kazan, Novorossiysk.

"DOSS"

The High-Speed Transport Directorate (DOSS) deals with high-speed trains of the new generation. The first was, which in 2009 connected Moscow, St. Petersburg and Nizhny Novgorod. It accelerates to 250 km / h and covers the distance between the two capitals in 4 hours, which takes more than 8 hours for a regular train. And already in 2010, the second electric train was launched - running from the northern capital to Helsinki (Finland). In 2015, on the route Moscow - Nizhny Novgorod, "Sapsan" changed high-speed train, reducing travel time by 20 minutes. Many high-speed trains are more expensive than others on the same route.

The seated train reaches speeds of up to 160 km / h. It is used as a high-speed train for flights up to 5.5 hours. Lastochka runs on many routes in the European part of Russia.
