Window air conditioner (monoblock)

Just like the mobile one, this unit is made in one housing. Only the evaporator and condenser (hot part) are located on opposite sides of the unit. Where to install the monoblock

This type is called windowed for a reason. A typical place for installation is a window or a special opening in a window frame. Of course, the ideal location is a separate opening in the wall of the building. However, from a technical point of view, it is quite difficult to fill such a niche. Therefore, you have to sacrifice the glazing area.

How to install a window air conditioner safely? If it is possible to change the configuration of the window, the best place is a sturdy window sill. Again, when replacing old windows with double-glazed windows, a deaf diffuser must be provided, which can be removed for the summer and returned to its place in winter.
