Almost 750 thousand people were registered to participate in the main period of the USE-2019, of which 662 thousand are graduates of the current year. During the main period of the Unified State Exam, 5,713 examination points (PES), about 51 thousand audiences were involved. All PPEs used the technology of printing examination materials in classrooms, in 8 regions, for the first time this year, the technology of transferring examination materials to PPEs via the Internet.
- Since 2019, graduates have the right to choose only one level of the Unified State Exam in mathematics (basic or specialized) for passing, but this level may be changed upon retaking.
- Since 2019, graduates of previous years are not eligible to participate in the USE in basic mathematics.
- The popularity of natural science subjects has grown. So, in 2019, the growth in the number of USE participants in biology was 25 thousand compared to last year, in chemistry - about 16 thousand, in physics - about 13 thousand participants. Also, in comparison with 2018, the level of interest in computer science and ICT (an increase in the number of participants by 27 thousand people), the English language (an increase by 18 thousand people) and history (an increase by 15 thousand) have noticeably increased.
- In 2019, the Unified State Exam in Chinese was passed for the first time, 289 people applied for participation in it. Only 75 people passed the exam on time. Muscovite Anastasia Andryunina is the only one of all who has passed the USE in Chinese by 100 points, and is going to enter the RUDN University.
- 300 points on the exam were scored by a resident of Seversk named Putin. Graduate Alexander Putin passed the maximum score in Russian, mathematics and physics.
- Two participants of the Unified State Exam-2019 were able to gain 400 bonuses based on the results of four exams. 30 participants became 300-point... 445 people typed 200 credits on two exam.
- 812 people were removed from the exam for various violations, including for the presence of mobile phones (355 remote) and cheat sheets (323 remote)
- The USE in a foreign language is planned to be included in the number of compulsory subjects from 2022. This will be preceded by the necessary preparatory work, approbation, discussion of how best to differentiate the exam according to the level of difficulty.

Exams in 2018 were taken by 731,000 people (in the main period - 670,000), including 645,000 graduates of the current year.
- Graduates who did not score the minimum threshold scores on the compulsory USE (basic mathematics and Russian) can retake the exam in the same year on a reserve day. If it didn't work out again, then in September.
- If USE participants find mobile devices or cribs, they are removed from the exam without the right to retake this year.
- Elective subjects can only be retaken the next year. In 2018, 478 people were removed from the exam for phones, 463 for cribs. - Those who did not get the minimum score in one compulsory subject were allowed retake the exam on a reserve day... 12 thousand people went to retake mathematics of the basic level in the reserve period. On a reserve day, 2,000 graduates retried mathematics of the profile level.
- There are quite a lot of 100 points in Russian... For example, in the Vologda region there are 27 such people, in the Krasnoyarsk region - 61, in the Chelyabinsk region - 76, in the Novosibirsk region - 89.
- 21 people managed to recruit 300 points for the exam in 2017. This means that they received 100 points on three examinations.
- The number of attempts to cheat or smuggle a phone to an exam in 2017 decreased by 25 percent on average. In one of the regions, a school director was fired for trying to help students in the exam. In another, the teacher was fired because he came to the exam with a mobile phone.
- The total number of violations this year has decreased by more than one and a half times compared to the previous year.
- In 2017, as in 2016, the most popular elective subjects were social studies (chosen by 54% of the USE participants), physics (26%), history (21%), biology (20%), chemistry (13%).
- 2.6% (15,878 people) did not receive a certificate based on the results of the Unified State Exam.

300 points on three exam in 2016, only three students were recruited throughout Russia. Mikhail Chekanov from Olenegorsk, Murmansk Region, passed physics, specialized mathematics and computer science with the highest marks. A graduate from Kemerovo Elizaveta Shabanova received 100 points on the Unified State Exam in Russian language, history, social studies. In Kirov, a graduate of the famous Physics and Mathematics Lyceum, Alexander Artemyev, passed physics, computer science and mathematics for 100 points and entered Phystech.

In 2015, the exam in mathematics was for the first time held at two levels - profile and basic. The exam participant had the right to independently choose any of the levels, or both levels, depending on their educational needs, as well as the prospects for continuing education.

In total, there were 836,565 graduates in 2010. This figure is slightly lower than the total number of those who took the exam, due to retakes of graduates of previous years.
According to Rosobrnadzor, in the main period of the USE, about 318 thousand participants took social studies, more than 155 thousand participants in physics, more than 41 thousand in literature. It is noted that the average scores in all three subjects this year are comparable to the results of last year.
Head of Rosobrnadzor Sergey Kravtsov explained that this speaks of the stability of the exam and the objectivity of the assessment, as well as the competent work with the results of the USE, when they are analyzed and used in the work of institutions for advanced training of teachers.
At the same time, the department reports on a reduction in the number of USE participants who did not manage to overcome the established minimum threshold in subjects:
- in social studies from 17.5% last year to 13.8% this year;
- in physics - from 6.1% to 3.8%;
- in literature - from 4.4% to 2.9%.

In addition, it is reported that thanks to the use of scanning technology for the participants' works at the examination points, the results of the unified state exams in social studies, literature and physics were processed earlier than the deadlines set by the schedule for issuing the results. Thus, graduates will know their results in the specified subjects a day earlier.
What is the validity period of certificates obtained in 2019-2020 and later?
With the introduction of the new Federal Law "On Education in the Russian Federation" dated December 29, 2012 No. 273-FZ, the rules that establish how long the USE results are valid have also changed. So, in Art. 70 of this RLA defines the norms that universities should use when organizing the admission of applicants wishing to study under bachelor's or specialist's programs.
After reading these norms, it becomes clear how many years the USE results are valid: 4 years, starting from the next one after passing the USE. In practice, applicants must calculate how long the results of the 2019 exam are valid, as follows: their results will be valid until 2023. It turns out that a school graduate can postpone his admission to a university for several years, and he will not have to pass the final certification again.
Separately, it is worth considering how much the exam-2019 is valid for conscripts. Now the term of service in the army is 1 year. And since the USE results are valid for 4 years, then after the soldier returns from service, you can safely use them.
Interesting: the answer to the question: "How long is the USE valid?" - may have a different answer in one case. In accordance with clause 4.5 of Art. 15 of Law No. 273-FZ, conscripts within a year after dismissal have the right to use the USE results obtained 12 months before conscription. Additional conditions for the granting of such eligibility are admission to study on a budgetary basis in an accredited institution of higher or secondary specialized education.

In view of the changes in the rules for admission to universities, which occurred simultaneously with the adoption of the new law No. 273-FZ, graduates who graduated from school before its adoption, especially in 2012, began to ask the urgent question of how long the USE results of 2012 and earlier are valid. It is due to the fact that, according to the new law, the USE results can be applied for 4 years.
Don't know your rights?
From 2009 until the entry into force of the new rules, graduates were issued a certificate in which the results of their passing the final attestation at the end of school were recorded. So, this certificate was valid for the year when the exams were passed, and the next year until December 31, inclusive. Thus, before a graduate could enter a university only 2 years in a row after passing the exam (as it was established in the old Federal Law "On Education" dated 10.07.1992 No. 3266-1), and now 4.
The most problematic was to determine how long the Unified State Exam in 2012 is valid as the year in which the new rules were adopted. Since the law came into force in September 2013, after the final certification was passed, the new rules, in fact, should apply only to graduates of 2013. But in the letter of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation dated November 20, 2013 No. DL-344/17, when asked how long the Unified State Exam-2012 is valid, the following answer was given: until 2016. The department explains this by the fact that at the time of the adoption of the new law, certificates issued in 2012 and 2013 were in use.
To understand how long the 2019 exam is valid, you need to refer to Law No. 273-FZ. It is in it that the validity of the results of the final attestation in schools has been extended from 1.5 to 4 years. Now graduates of 2019 can take advantage of the USE until 2023 inclusive.
Most importantly, the answer to the question of how long the USE-2019 is valid will most likely not change. Even if a new law appears, it is unlikely that it will have retroactive effect.
When will the results of the USE 2017 be known
It takes from 8 to 12 days to check the examination papers, approve the results and announce them. After the completion of the examination of the exam results in the regional information processing centers, the work is sent for a centralized examination.

In regions with hard-to-reach and remote territories, the USE results may be announced a little later. At the same time, the period for the announcement of the results of the exam in the Russian language and mathematics should not exceed 12 days after the exam, in selected subjects - 9 days... However, usually the results of the exam become known even before these dates.
From May 29 to July 1, 2017, students in grades 10-11 pass the main stage of the state final certification (GIA) in school subjects.

In the main period, the USE in social studies was taken by about 318 thousand participants, the USE in physics - more than 155 thousand participants, the USE in literature - more than 41 thousand participants. The average scores in all three subjects in 2017 are comparable to last year's results.
The number of USE participants who did not manage to overcome the established minimum threshold in subjects decreased: in social studies to 13.8% from 17.5% last year, in physics - to 3.8% from 6.1%, in literature - to 2 , 9% from 4.4% a year earlier.
“The average scores are comparable to the results of the previous year, which speaks about the stability of the exam and the objectivity of the assessment. It is important that the number of those who have not overcome the minimum thresholds is reduced. This is largely due to the competent work with the results of the exam, when they are analyzed and used in the work of institutions for the advanced training of teachers. In a number of regions, the project "I will pass the Unified State Exam" gave very serious results, - said the head of Rosobrnadzor Sergey Kravtsov.
Thanks to the use of scanning technology for the participants' works at the examination points, the USE results in social studies, literature and physics were processed ahead of the deadlines set by the schedule for issuing the results. Graduates will be able to find out their result a day earlier.
