An article on how I organized my life. How to Organize Your Life: Discipline and Limitations in Pleasure. Make purchases only based on the money you have earned or saved

Last week, at my urgent request, my mother brought back one of my old books (you know, when you move from place to place, every now and then you strive to shove "all unnecessary" into the parents' apartment - they already have it made of rubber!) I bought it for ten rubles when I worked in a bookstore. It was five years ago and few people needed my book, but now, just imagine, you can't buy it on Ozon for less than 200 rubles!
So what am I talking about? About Georgina Lockwood and her republished "How to Organize Your Life" many times. I love to re-read all sorts of books on self-organization with the arrival of autumn. Hee hee ...

"People like Martha Stewart, as well as the pages of glossy magazines, assure us of the" normalcy "of the way of life, which for most of us is absolutely unacceptable. Don't get me wrong. I am biased against only a few magazines. I even sometimes watch shows on But do I believe that this lady really edits her own magazine, hosts a weekly show, maintains several houses, ironing her linen with her own hands, shoveling manure in a perfectly manicured garden with a shovel and preparing the most complicated dishes on the go?

Then I remembered my girlfriend, who married an American and drove off to Washington to clean a three-story house, feed her husband with all sorts of incredible things, look after the garden and vegetable garden, iron, sew and all that!))))) I even make fun of her, that after her arrival in the States, the quotes of Russian wives went up sharply!))))

“Journalists came to my house for interviews, expecting to see an old mansion filled to the brim with stylish souvenir items. Instead, they found themselves in a modern house without any special architectural delights, but comfortable and cozy, in a house that is very easy to keep clean. I have some trinkets that I keep as the apple of my eye and keep in a conspicuous place. But I disappear at work all day, I have family and friends, hobbies that I spend my leisure time on. I decided for myself a long time ago that all this is more important to me than the "exemplary" house from the cover of a glossy magazine. I do not want to be a slave to my own house and, in truth, I very much doubt that anyone will ever pay me to show my home on TV "

At this point, all the questions as to why I wash my tiny stove and wipe the mirrors once in a hundred years have disappeared by themselves. Now do you understand why I fell in love with this book?))))))

"... commercials show you sparkling clean homes, and you get the impression that without a home like that, you can't be good parents and just socially acceptable people. In addition to a perfect home, you also have to have white teeth, soft and silky hair - and no dandruff! - spotless clothes and dry armpits Don't be lured into these traps! Think of ads adequately as an illusion - nothing more! All you need is a cozy, comfortable, clean and beautiful home , in which you will be pleased to live and achieve your goals "

Then Georgina offers to take several sheets of paper and devote each of them to one area of your life:

People

Work

Nutrition

clothing

Finance

Health

Leisure

Under each heading, you need to write what you would like to change in this area (what would you do if you had more time, money or opportunities). This way, you will have a complete understanding of what you really need. It is necessary to work through all eight categories, and then circle one, the most important desire on each sheet.

"Desires turn into clearly formulated goals, goals into actions, and all this is magically transformed into a RESULT."

Then you need to select and circle two more important points from each area. You will already have three important desires on each piece of paper (which is why from the very beginning you need to write down as many desires as possible - at least six for each area of your life). When you have three goals from each list, you need to write them down in an organizer or hang them on the wall so that your goals are always in front of your eyes.

"If you do not have an organizer or at least a place where all important information is centrally stored, you will greatly complicate the process of self-organization. Buy an organizer and keep it where it will be most convenient for you to constantly refer to it."

In general, everything is pretty simple. You formulate goals, make a plan, break the plan into small tasks, and then write them down in an organizer and start slowly but surely doing everything. Georgina advises herself to be encouraged for her successes and victories. To do this, you need to make a list of what you like the most. To achieve one of your goals, simply "reward" yourself with something from this list (small gifts for small accomplishments, big gifts for big ones).

"Don't set the bar too high - it won't help you succeed."

“How consciously did you make the last purchase? Why did you decide to buy this particular thing? Did you see it on TV or in a magazine? Or, perhaps, you noticed it with a friend and decided that you should definitely get this thing too? .. Walk around your house, look at things surrounding you, and ask yourself where each particular item came from. If this is your purchase, try to remember how and for what it was made. How often do you use it? What purpose does it really serve? What would happen if it was lost or stolen? "

With the light hand of Georgina, half of the contents of this house can be taken to the trash heap!)))))

"Useless things tend to proliferate. The more you have, the more you need ... Useless things crowd out useful things. The more unnecessary, obsolete and broken items you have, the harder it is to find a place for the items you really use often .. Useless things usurp all free space The more unfilled horizontal surfaces and unfilled cabinets in the house, the more items appear that need to be placed somewhere ... The easier it is for you to put things away, the more likely you are to actually clean them. .. Useless things greatly affect your state of mind. Cluttered rooms are depressing. If you are not having the most successful period and you are already in the grip of depressive moods, the sight of useless, long-no longer functioning old stuff will aggravate your condition ... On you will be oppressed by the need to put it in order and the impossibility of doing it ... All things have value only when they are used. things are nothing more than junk, rubbish ... Things will never make you happy. Both money and things are only improvised means with which you build your life and create your happiness. Try not bringing new things into your home for a week. Impose a shopping moratorium, make do with what you already have ... The more things you have to watch out for, the less time you have for everything else ... "

The message is simple: by controlling your belongings and time, you begin to control your whole life.

"When does a habit appear? If you repeat an action so many times that you perform it completely without thinking about what exactly you are doing ... Getting rid of the habit is difficult, and the more difficult, the more we are" used "(then there are more times an action has been repeated) ... Since you can "quit" a bad habit, it means that you can "acquire" a useful one ... Within three to four weeks, consciously perform some action over and over again - and one you will get more habit. "

In my opinion, this is also a great way to train willpower - to do what you really need to do, but you really don't want to.

"... the fact that something is 150 years old does not mean that this" antiquity "should be kept at home! After all, you do not live in a museum ... house, even if it is very valuable and old junk ... "Excellent" qualities of things appear only when these things are used. Things lying as a dead weight, even if they are in three times beautiful condition, were and remain useless junk. Better give them to someone , who will find a use for them, or, at worst, sell them for a song.

Great recommendation! Use or give away! I remember something from my semi-Soviet past, when the worst sin was to be called "greedy beef". We felt it was our direct duty to share everything we had (even if we didn't want to at all).

"Sales are tricky tricks to lure you into the store ... Going to a sale only makes sense if you are going to buy everyday items or have long planned a purchase, chose a model and brand, asked the price and suddenly found out, that the price of this particular item has been reduced for one reason or another. Otherwise, you will not get any benefit from attending sales. "

“If you feel fatigued, whatever you do will seem like a routine. you, then, before starting serious work on yourself, be sure to rest and come to your senses, restore the lost strength "

"Break the work into pieces," bytes. "Do away with one piece, dust off one room, set a timer, have some tea and spend another 10 minutes on another" byte "... Do some, even a very small part work every day "

That's not all, of course, next time I'll tell you about all sorts of "household tricks" (how to put things in order in papers and wardrobe, how to organize your workplace, how to go shopping correctly, and so on).

The simple and unpleasant truth is that we are probably busier now than we have ever been. Despite the fact that little scientific evidence supports this fact, anecdotal evidence abounds.

“You can see it all around you,” says Jane Jasper, a productivity expert based in New York and author of Take Your Time Back. “People talk too fast. We are always in a hurry. We start to do something and do not finish it, and all the time we are tormented by the thought that we have forgotten to do something, but we cannot remember what exactly ”. Busy people who use all these time and effort saving appliances, from robotic vacuum cleaners to microwaves and computers, seem so busy and devoid of common sense. But the advantages that technology gives us are disadvantages at the same time.

“Since we've expanded the number of devices that save our time and products that make our lives easier, we've found ways to fill our time,” says Tracy Lin Moland, time management consultant. And chronic lack of time is stressful.

But all the time management experts we spoke to insist that stress can be reduced. Think of it as adding an extra hour to your daily schedule with a time management technique.

Anything as simple as “knowing where your keys are in the morning or your child’s library book and homework” can help reduce stress, Moland says. She has a variety of tips for managing your time successfully.

    Make a time diary

Take a week and write down everything you do for each day. If you watch TV 25 hours a week, write it down.

“For most people, this is a painful experience,” says Yana Jasper. “You have to include everything — the time you spend at the gym, the time behind the wheel, the weekly meetings, everything. You may be upset to see how much unstructured time you are allowing yourself. But it’s hard to make smart decisions about using your time effectively if you don’t know what you’re doing with your time. ”

    Learn to say no

Disconnect your mobile phone and pager. If someone asks you to do something that you have absolutely no time for, say no politely but clearly. And don't let yourself feel guilty.

“One of the reasons we feel so busy is because we don’t know how to set personal limits on what we shouldn’t do,” says Yana Kemp, founder and president of Meeting & Management Essentials, a time management consulting company in Boys , Idaho.

In order to give up something, you need to focus on your goals, explains Kemp. Your time diary can help in this regard. When you have important but unplanned things to do, only settle for things that are truly important, such as family, friends, or health. Knowing exactly what you have time for will make it easier for you to give up things that don't align with your priorities.

Make a to-do list with a time stamp

“Create a to-do list and note how much time you will spend on each task,” says Moland. Lists are always helpful, but when you write down how long each item will take, it can help you prioritize your tasks. This will naturally focus on what you can do right now.

Take a computer as your assistant

Technology helped you get into temporary commitments, now let them help you get out of them. Try these numerous personal scheduling programs that allow you to use the calendar, to-do list, phone book, and address book on your computer.

“In our time, a computer is no longer sufficient to achieve full efficiency,” says Jasper. “The goal is to use technology to get rid of paper in your life. It's just extremely important. "

According to experts, organization is often based on the transience of life. The more junk you have in your life - phone numbers on scraps of paper, business cards on your laptop, a desk littered with calendars and lists - the more likely you are to spend your life organizing all this junk.

    Multitasking mode

Is there a more widely used expression in our modern world? We all combine several tasks into one. But sometimes this kind of multitasking is dangerous. Talking on the phone while driving dramatically increases your chances of getting into an accident. However, many activities can be combined effectively and safely. Listen to cassette books while driving to work. When you watch TV, pay your bills.

“Women are better at combining several activities than men,” says Moland. “Even if both partners are working full-time, the woman is usually able to think about her children's schedules, home and food. Men are better at focusing on one activity at a time - and women sometimes need to learn that. ”

    Don't be a perfectionist

There is nothing wrong with being ordinary. Perfectionism, known as paying too much attention to every detail, important or not, is considered a form of procrastination.

“Set rational goals for yourself,” says Jasper. “It's good to strive to use your full potential. It is not effective to strive to be the best. ”

Setting unattainable goals only adds stress to your life, Kemp explains.

    Reward yourself

Last but not least, reward every achievement, even the smallest.

“Use your time diary to help you decide how best to organize your time,” says Jasper. “As you make progress in prioritization and learn to say no, allow yourself to enjoy what you are doing. You don't have to give yourself a big gift, you can just spend some time alone or have a massage. It is important to realize your success and enjoy it. "

The term "highly sensitive person" was first coined by the American psychologist Elaine Aron. This is not a disease, not a whim, but a feature of the nervous system. A highly sensitive life can be painful if dealt with as an irreparable defect. But if you organize your space, time and communication wisely, you will be efficient and happy.

An ordinary school day. I'm eight or nine years old. I enter the school building, and the rumble of children's voices, the running of the crowd, the sharp sound of the bell immediately descend upon me. It seems that there is so much of everything that I cannot stand it. During the lesson there is silence, but as soon as the class runs out for recess, I stand at the wall and think of only one thing: "When will this end?"

Since childhood, I was reproached for vulnerability, called "the princess and the pea." At some point, I even believed that something was wrong with me. This did not stop me from becoming a practicing psychologist. Sensitivity has become my main tool and business card. But if in the profession I was like a fish in water, then in life the ability to take everything to heart continued to cause inconvenience and create problems.

Until, accidentally stumbling upon Elaine Aron's book “The Supersensitive Nature. How to Succeed in a Mad World ”, I didn’t know that hypersensitivity is not a disease at all, but a feature of the nervous system.

The term "highly sensitive person" was first coined by the American psychologist Elaine Aron. She refers to its main characteristics:

  • depth of information processing- a tendency to observe and reflect before acting;
  • easily achievable overexcitation- quickly emerging fatigue from an excess of information;
  • accentuation Emotional responses and strong empathy, which help to notice and learn
  • susceptibility to all the nuances of the environment.

New life with high sensitivity

The most important thing is to recognize and accept your own peculiarity, and not to fight it. It’s not easy, because the world around us was created for people with ordinary sensitivities. In addition, you probably have accumulated a lot of negative labels about yourself.

There is a fine line here that Elaine Aron is talking about. On the one hand, you can continue to try to remake yourself under the "normal" world, fight, try to build up a protective shell. But won't it be like how a fragile butterfly suddenly decides to become a thick-skinned boa constrictor?

On the other hand, there is a risk to escape into arrogance: to elevate your sensitivity into something extraordinary, requiring a special attitude towards yourself.

The smartest option is to simply admit that you were born that way. Sensitivity - not your merit, but not your fault either. This is the same as the shape of the nose, the color of the eyes or the size of the feet. And if you compare with the latter, then your task is to find the right "shoes", instead of walking barefoot down the street or not leaving the house at all.

How to "reorganize" your life

1) Identify your "irritants" - what tires you the most.

For me, these are loud sounds and vivid video images, a large crowd of people. And how are you? Remember an ordinary day: what bothers you the most, takes your strength, takes you out of a rut? Make your personal list.

2) Think about what you can exclude from this and how.

Experts note that many highly sensitive people prefer living alone or find a similar person as partners. What if you have a different situation? There are five of us in the family: me, my husband, two teenage children and a one-year-old daughter. Can you imagine how many stimuli and irritants I get on a daily basis? If it happens that everyone is at home all day, then for me this is already a "large crowd of people." And I need to be very careful to avoid overwork. We have to agree that the TV does not work 24 hours a day, and the children play with the computer with headphones. If necessary, I use earplugs just to keep the noise down. And, of course, I have my own time when I can be completely alone at home, or at least retire with tea, a blanket and an interesting film (book) in my room.

3) Adapt the profession to your sensitivity.

There was a time when I worked at school, university. I still remember with horror the noise of the teaching and the huge number of people; the road - two hours from one end of Moscow to the other with three transfers, minibuses and other "pleasures". I didn't have enough for a long time. Now I am conducting psychological practice and I realized that this is the ideal option for me. I make my own schedule so that I can fully devote time to both family and work. I have an office where I can retire and prepare for the session. How does your profession fit in with sensitivity? What can be changed in it to make your work more comfortable?

4) Track what factors contribute to fatigue and prevent them.

For example, if I eat lunch later than usual, I get annoyed easily and break out at others. Therefore, I began to take care in advance to take food on time and always keep a small snack on hand. I also cut back on coffee and switched to delicious herbal teas. Psychologist and author of the book “Close to the Heart. How to live if you are too sensitive person ”Ilse Sand taught her guests that she needs pauses during communication, in addition, she stipulates in advance the time of their departure. What factors affect your sensitivity? What do you think you can add or change?

5) Conduct an audit of your surroundings.

Highly sensitive people respond to more stimuli, which leads to overwork. The principles of cleaning according to Marie Kondo helped me to organize a new lifestyle. When you get rid of what causes tension, and surround yourself with things, activities, people that bring joy, life is filled with new meaning and inspiration. Revisit things and keep only those that bring joy. You will notice that your home will begin to help you regain strength and energy.

6) Be kind and caring to yourself.

This is the most important acquisition for me. Before, I never tired of comparing myself to others, scolding myself for being slow in making decisions. Now I have learned to use my traits to my advantage. I remember with what frustration and fatigue I often left large shopping centers. Now I shop online. I calmly choose clothes, shoes, order them at home and, if necessary, I can always exchange or return money.

Write down the qualities that do not suit you in yourself and which are associated with your sensitivity. How can you “replay” them in your usual life in order to achieve what you want easier and more comfortably? For example, if you are more active and energized in the morning, do not schedule attention-related activities for the evening. If you find it difficult to make quick decisions, do not hesitate to take a break and find the conditions that are comfortable for you.

7) Find ways to self-heal.

Knowing your characteristics, it is important to find ways that will help you cope with the accumulated fatigue and release from stress. It is better to take care of this in advance. And it's better if these are rituals. For me, this is the morning time, when I can calmly drink aromatic tea and slowly greet the morning. Playlists matched to your mood. Body practices. Obligatory evening shower, which "zeroes" everything that happened during the day. What rituals can you include in your day?

8) Find out when "burnout" happens.

No matter how hard you try to adapt sensitivity to the world around you, situations happen that, together with overwork, cause a strong emotional reaction (tears, outbursts of irritation). This happens when the time for self-care is lost and the outside world attacks with its stimuli. For example, I agree to go with my husband to a shopping center, although physically I don’t feel very well. Already there I understand that I want to go home, people, music, noise annoy me. But it's too late ... We are fighting. From overwork, I say what I later regret. If earlier I “fell” into a feeling of guilt and harmed myself even more, now I accept my state, focus on breathing, and then help myself with my own methods of self-healing.

In what situations is it easy to throw you off balance? Do you often drown out your needs in order to adapt to your family, partner? What can be done to avoid such a waste of energy?

As soon as I began to organize my life in a new way, the question was born: “Why do I need this? Why feel so keen? " The answer that came first: "In order to accept yourself and start taking care of yourself." And, of course, without my sensitivity, I would never have become a psychotherapist. Interestingly, clients often choose me for my sensitivity.

A highly sensitive life can be painful if dealt with as an irreparable defect. Stop ... Take a break and get to know your sensitivity as a small child. What does he need in this big scary world? What makes you feel happy? What can you do for him right now? Do not leave him, and he will thank you with new discoveries and opportunities.

From the editorial board

If you do not pay attention to your emotional state for a long time, situations occur that, together with overwork, cause a strong emotional reaction, a crisis sets in. One of the stages of a psychologist's work with a client in a crisis is defragmentation, which helps to create an integral picture of what is happening. What is defragmentation and what is it for, read the article by a psychologist Alena Dronova:

Some people can't stop worrying about an important event. It is still far from him, nothing is known in advance, but it is already scary. The most terrible pictures obsessively arise in my head, and it is very difficult to drive these thoughts away. Psychologist Yaroslav Voznyuk offers a technique that in 5-7 minutes helps to reduce the level of anxiety:.

Hello my dear readers and blog guests! I have recently become convinced that simplicity also makes me happier. I noticed that even the views on many things and events became different, more conscious. I began to notice little things, to understand those people who previously seemed to me to be eccentric, in my life there were less worries and fuss. It feels like I've moved to a completely new level. But, of course, I am far from ideal, but, nevertheless, I am satisfied with the result.

How to make life easier

Simplicity has become a way of life for me, and simplification has become one of several goals. Mine helped me a lot. Indeed, in fact, it is very difficult to reorganize yourself, change habits and thinking. But time and work, as they say, will grind everything. I have just started my path as a minimalist, but I have already mastered many truths that inspire me and give me motivation to move on.

Those who have not yet learned all the advantages of this area, I would like to advise you to at least try. After all, chaos in life occurs due to an overabundance. In the house - things, in the head - thoughts. Our task is to put everything on the shelves, highlight the priority areas that need to be developed first of all, discard all unnecessary things and get rid of material and non-material junk.

Today I will try to formulate rules that will help each of you make your life easier and easier so that you enjoy it, do pleasant things and enjoy it to the fullest.

Throw away all the trash

I believe this is the first thing that needs to be done on the path to simplifying life. Few people attach particular importance to this, but in vain. It is incredible, but as soon as you feel, you will receive a huge charge of motivation, which will ultimately lead you to the realization of what you are missing, what you want to change. This rule will not only save you from unnecessary and unnecessary fuss, free up space in the house, but will also give you the opportunity to change your idea of the meaning of life in general. Loud words, I agree, but it was with this that my self-development began, my consciousness seemed to have undergone a purification. And I am sure that a big but pleasant surprise awaits you too. Just try to throw out everything that clutters your house, everything unnecessary and unused by you for a week. Prepare 2 boxes - in the first place the trash, in the second what you want to give or sell. The main thing is not to regret anything!

Prioritize life

What is most important for you at the moment: family, money, health? Sometimes we think that today there is nothing more important than a career, and children, wife, husband, relatives, ailments, rest and communication with friends - all this will wait. Stop, and when then to live? Retired that short weekend? Will not work. Life is one and you need to live it, squeezing out all the juices. There are a huge number of techniques and rules that will help you organize your life correctly and at the same time live in full force without depriving yourself and others.

Recently I came across a very interesting video that really helps to accurately understand the priorities, which are dictated for the most part not by the mind, but by the heart. Be sure to watch this video, you will be surprised how much a person can make mistakes and make the wrong decisions in their life just because they do not know how to highlight what is important.

Organize your life

Sometimes household chores take up a lot of our time, preventing us from having fun, making everyday life boring and uninteresting. But there is one way out - to optimize your life, to make it easier and easier to maintain. For example, the same. Incredibly, oga works wonders. Already millions of housewives have become convinced of its effectiveness. Thanks to the advice and methods, you will spend a minimum of time on housekeeping, while cleanliness and order will not leave your home.

It is also worth paying attention to. This greatly simplifies their use and streamlines the space. Well, as always, I advise you to stick with it. You should not keep what you do not use, what does not bring you benefit and joy. In this sense, I advise you to read the book "The Magic of Cleaning".

"Clean up" your social circle

It sounds unusual, but, nevertheless, people leave a significant imprint in our life. We will not survive without communication. To be a recluse is unbearable, indecent, dangerous, but in the environment of every person there are a number of people who bring nothing but negative. These can be work colleagues, neighbors, and even relatives. Limit communication with such unique people to a minimum. Do not date idle, and find the strength to tell them why you made this decision. Perhaps for them this will be an impetus for change.

Better please yourself by communicating with your beloved friends, relatives, family. Make new acquaintances, communicate, but at the same time put a filter and let only kind and positive people into your life, with whom it is easy and simple for you. Don't be afraid to sound like a selfish, bitchy person. Make it clear that it's up to you how to build it.

Pay attention to the little things

You might be asking how the question of simplicity can relate to the little things. Everything is very simple. When we pay attention to details, rejoice and notice little things, life becomes richer, happier, acquires a certain understanding of the meaning of existence. At the same time, you simply will not have enough time for spraying for everything and everyone. Our life is made up of little things. For example, you can put 100 figurines on a shelf and not enjoy their view, but you can put only one, the most beloved and dear to your heart, which will constantly attract your attention. You can marry one woman, give her all your love, and receive gratitude in return for care and need, or constantly be in search of your beloved and jump from bed to bed, wasting your life energy right and left.

There can be many examples and many will disagree with me that these are not details at all. I will be very glad if you do not think so, because most likely you know the true value of these "little things".

Look in negative for positive

Plan your time

Again planning, but nowhere without it. It takes time, minutes, hours, days, years to do the main thing in your life, to devote time to the most important things. Often they are not enough. Try to divide the day into separate blocks - work, family, rest ... Do not forget about yourself. When it comes to important things, it’s best if they are related to your goals. You should not be wasted and do what does not bring pleasure, does not bring you closer to your dream. Try to do everything with joy and remember what you are striving for. This will be your main motivation, even if you are eating a "frog" at this time.

Loneliness, laziness, relaxation

Sometimes it’s a pity to waste time on rest, because time is running out, it’s necessary. But as I said, our main mission on earth is to have pleasure, to live in joy and happiness. If you plow all day, do not see the children, do not take care of yourself, but only do, do and do, then, unfortunately, a very deplorable result awaits you. Health, most likely, will undermine, relations with loved ones will deteriorate, and there is no joy in this. Learn to relax, be lazy, and be alone. Whatever you like best, then choose, this is a vital rule that is simply unacceptable to break.

If you manage your time correctly, work on important tasks, keep up with the main things, then your life will become easier.

Minimalist work

Without work, nowhere. This is a source of money that, in fact, embodies most of our desires. But in this area, you can work on simplification. For example, if you hate your colleagues, your boss and, in general, what you do, then you should consider changing jobs. Find one that suits you, where you feel lighter, simpler and more confident. And the shorter the journey from home to work, the better.

The workplace is also worth fussing about. Throw out all the trash, clear the space, clean up the drawers, organize the storage of office supplies and papers, sort them by type, purpose, and so on. At work, do nothing but work. So you will be more effective, your efforts will be noticeable.

Be sure to take five minutes of rest. Get to know with.

Down with perfectionism

To be the best, to do everything perfectly is of course good, if it does not interfere with your life. But often this quality does not bring people satisfaction. To be the most-most is a huge work and a duty, first of all, to oneself. If the bar falls, then self-esteem suffers. It is better to focus your energies on quality, do not reproach yourself for the fact that something did not work out the way you wanted. The main thing is to try, try, but in no case blame yourself. In some cases, the situation reaches the point of absurdity. But remember, you don't owe anyone anything.

Simple food

Exotics are in vogue, and chic and sophisticated dishes are becoming more popular. But instead of standing at the stove for hours, you can prepare equally delicious meals from simple ingredients quickly and easily. If you want something unusual, you'd better go to a restaurant, order sushi or any other delicacy you like, and leave the simplest for home cooking. Make a list of recipes that will be a lifesaver for you in advance. This will save you a lot of time.

Lists, lists, lists ...

If you do only this out of everything listed in the article, you will already feel how you made your life easier. This I guarantee you. Lists can be for all occasions. For example, purchases, wishes, gifts, medicines, meals, plans, goals, household chores, routines, events, dates, holidays, books you want to read, an inventory of household chemicals, clothes, kindergarten items, and so on. Now you will always know what to buy, what to take with you, what is not enough at home. The number of lists is unlimited, try and experiment.

Make life easier - save money

Thanks to the lists, you can substantially. But this is not the only way to keep an extra penny in your wallet. First of all, after that, do not buy what you do not need, make do with the minimum and those things that you really need. For example, why buy 10 pans when you can get by with a maximum of three? Why buy kitchen utensils, for example, various types of harvesters or vegetable cutters, if you use them once a year and even then not always? Why buy decor items that do not fit into the interior of the room? In general, there can be a million such questions. Think for yourself, decide for yourself whether to save or not.

Learn to say no

Reliability, the desire to please, helping everyone and everyone does not make our life easier. Being a rescuer and helper is good, but only when it does not interfere with bringing ideas and goals to life, when you do not suffer from it and do not feel sad. Learn to refuse those who really do not really need your help. This is especially true of people you know and not quite close to you, for example, work colleagues. First of all, think about whether your reliability will be in the way.

Get things done

Unfinished business can drive anyone crazy. It is better to protect yourself from the state of something unfinished, to let go of this burden and clear your head from the thoughts of an unsuccessful enterprise. Either forget about the events that you did not manage to bring to mind, or, in the end, complete, put an end to it and move forward. And try not to create a train of affairs. Give the enterprise all your attention, do not get scattered around, focus on one thing.

Healthy lifestyle

Another way to make your life easier is to live a healthy lifestyle. Then there will be less hassle and worries about your health, which is very valuable for every person. Quit smoking - kill a few birds with one stone - save money, improve your health, live longer. You will go in for sports and - you will suffer less from excess weight, self-esteem will be at the top, life will become happier and more colorful. There will be more opportunities, from clothing to personal life. So draw your own conclusions.

Delegation

The art of assigning things to another person still needs to be learned so that all participants are happy. Give them important tasks - washing the dishes, making the bed, getting ready for school on their own, and so on. The same goes for the husband, who, for example, will throw out the trash every day. Make a personalized plan to make life easier

Well, now after reading the article, make your own plan to simplify your life, take something from here, add something of your own. The more detailed your plan is, the better. Take your time, you have time for development, improvement. You will succeed, the main thing is to remember, do not leave unfinished business, set goals for yourself and plan to achieve it. In small steps, you can achieve whatever you want. The simple life is real and it is already waiting for you. This is a life where there is a place for joy, important little things and happiness, and there is no place for disappointment, failure and boredom. Until next time!

How much you need to do during your life. Get an education, start a family, have children, self-actualize in some area, preferably in your beloved. And I also want to see the world, look younger, dress modern, spend time with friends somehow not trivial, acquire new ones.

Someone does it all easily and naturally, while someone does not succeed in any way.
And here's an example. Once I had a woman at a reception. Suppose her name is Vera, she is 38, not married, no children, she worked, at that time, as a sales manager. In general, not ugly and in general, the head is in place, but life is not well-equipped. By the way, it was with this request that she came to me. She said that everything had gone awry since childhood. Since childhood, she did not stay in any circles and sections, she always worked not in her specialty, men all the time came across either married or drinking. In general, this is how it went on. And during the consultation, through tears, she complained about “the feeling that I don't have time to live! I had to start a family before, and now I had to pursue a career, or the career should have already been on the machine, and I would have taken care of the family. No, I didn't have time! I haven't had time yet! "

How often does it happen that at first you are late for the bus, then for a meeting, and then you look around, and already 30 and life has not really been arranged properly, everything is somehow adrift.

To do everything, to develop in many areas of life and in general to be successful, you need to have the skill of self-organization. This is one of the key human skills that involve the volitional qualities of a person.

What happened in Vera's life, of course, is not explained by the lack of only organization. Low self-esteem, lack of self-love, self-confidence and a not very successful parental scenario also affected. But if the skill of self-discipline had been developed, in Vera's life much would have been different for the better.

And now an example from my personal experience, which is associated with a not very developed skill of self-organization and a sense of time).
I recently finished working on a large project with a team of active and interesting guys. The project assumed multitasking, speed, adjustments ... In other words, I did not always have time for everything, the tasks tried to lay on top of each other, and sometimes the process got out of control. As a result, it happened that the day ended with a touch of dissatisfaction. It would seem that the results were not bad, but they felt disproportionate to the effort expended. Like Pareto in the worst case)). I must say in this project I got the stress, despite the fact that I still got great results!)

After a couple of days of rest, I clearly formulated my growth zone for the near future!) This is a pumping of my self-organization! And not just so that the fulfillment was on time, but so that the soul does not stress, but rejoices and takes pleasure, both in the process and at the end, seeing the results obtained !!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is not doing well with organizing myself. Therefore, I decided to invite to take part in the process of personal growth (together more fun and more efficiently) those who wish to form the skill of self-organization, namely: to start doing what they have in mind, for a day, a month or a year, in all areas of your life, whether it be household chores, career, or family-related (after all, if you have conceived it, then it is important for you); stop being late for appointments and at the same time stop fussing, worrying that “I’m not fixable” and making excuses for the fact that “I’m late again, sorry ...”; stop postponing and shifting important tasks and events; finally start to enjoy the process of work, and not do it on the machine and be in the hustle and bustle that “I’m not doing well ...), to see life from other sides, to try something new (if there is free time and no worries), stop feel small, unable to change anything for yourself, but take and learn to make your days the way you want, and then your life!)

Of course, it happens differently for everyone. Someone has a little "pump up", and someone has 100% pumping. And that's okay! The main thing is to understand what will change from this in life. My analysis has shown that self-organization is essentially self-promotion! For me, this is freedom and inspiration! Perhaps someone will say, "what kind of freedom is it when everything is in minutes, what kind of inspiration is it when smooth-shaven observance replaces disheveled creativity." peace of mind when you know exactly what will happen and you will have time for what you planned and want to do !!)

By the way, having tested several new exercises on myself, it became even more clear to me how everything works: the boundaries of time are felt completely differently than as always ...)) I was glad!)
