They stretch for several hundred kilometers along the Mediterranean Sea and are secluded and quiet places for tourists to relax. Here you can completely relax and spend best vacation in his life, which will be remembered for a long time and will give a sea of vivid impressions.

The beaches of Valencia are always clean: and clear water, which beckons to itself. Provides a variety of entertainment for vacationers on land and on the water. The total length of the wide and endless coastline stretches for almost 500 km. Importantly, all the beaches are sandy and have a convenient entrance to the sea, so you can relax here with children.

The beaches of Valencia have good reviews from tourists: some of them liked more, others less. The coast is long, so there are many of them and it is not possible to list them all. The most popular and favorite among tourists and locals are 6 beaches:

  • La Malvarossa.
  • Cabañal-Arenas.
  • Pinedo.
  • El Saler.
  • La Devesa.
  • Patacona.

We will tell you more about each of them (description and features) below.

La Malvarossa

This beach is almost 1 km long and 135 m wide. It is located in the northern part of Valencia. It's easy to get there, as there are many stops nearby: you can take the metro or tram. This, by the way, is good, because the easiest way to get to La Malvarossa is by public transport.

Included in the list of the main beaches in Valencia. It is here that locals and tourists most often come to sunbathe and swim. It has everything that one might need for recreation: restaurants and cafes, some entertainment and facilities for people with disabilities, in particular, qualified personnel. Malvárosa Beach (Valencia), which has only good reviews, was named after a factory that once processed mallow petals to create perfumes.

Cabañal-Arenas (Playa las Arenas / Cabanyal)

The city beach is also popular. Located south of Malvarossa and slightly more - 1200 m long and 197 m wide. Ideal for a relaxing family holiday with children. There is fine white sand, from which little ones can build castles, as well as a lot of other pleasant entertainment and opportunities for children to play. There are restaurants with a varied menu, with a special emphasis on children's meals. Most of all there are cafes with traditional cuisine.

Sports and playgrounds are installed, there is an opportunity to rent balls to enjoy playing volleyball or football. Cultural events are often organized, and at night the youth are "kindled". Almost on the coast there is the Las Arenas hotel.

El perellonet

When discussing the beaches of Valencia, one cannot fail to mention El Perellonet. He, of course, is not very different from others, but he still has his own characteristics. Since the beach is located in the southern part of the city, in an area where many residences have been built, tourists who come here can enjoy almost all the benefits, because there is a huge service area and many different offers - the so-called summer service.

The beach is very long, more than 3 km, and its width is about 65 m. From this beach you can admire the endless

El Saler

It is even longer than the previous beach - almost 5 km. There is pleasant, soft, golden sand, thanks to which this place is loved by the locals. But not only because of him. Included in the list of "Best beaches in Valencia", El Saler boasts a great ecological rarity - a ridge of dunes, which, among other things, protects the territory from strong winds... A strip of pine forest gives a special atmosphere to the beach. It completes the natural landscape of the coast. In the summer, it becomes ideal for windsurfing.

Some call El Saler the best beach in Valencia. Here is very pure water and beautiful surroundings, and it will not be difficult to get to it - by public or rented transport.

La devesa

Valencia's beaches are all different, each with its own characteristics. But it is El Saler and La Devesa that are very similar to each other: clean water, well-groomed territory and pleasant sand. But he also has disadvantages. First, you can get here only by your own car, as there is no public transport. And the second minus (although, perhaps, for some it is a plus) - the territory was chosen by nudists.

The beach is almost 5 km long. Despite the shortcomings, the coast is very beautiful, as La Devesa is located on the border with the Natural Park of Albufera. This, in turn, is a rich ecosystem with lagoons, lowlands in between and beautiful flora such as palms, oaks, pines, honeysuckle and mastic trees. Therefore, many wild birds flock here.

Patacona

Valencia has very beautiful at its disposal, and one of the brightest representatives is Patacona. Its length is 1300 m, and distinctive feature the lack of people serves. The beach can rightfully be called the calmest, cleanest and most comfortable. Even the sand is finer and whiter here than in other areas of the coastline. But getting there is also more difficult, since the beach is far from the city center.

Patacona is the sequel to Malvarossa. They are separated by a river with a bridge, but in summer the reservoir dries up. During the season there are more people here than usual, but if you get to the beach outside of tourist time, you can enjoy the privacy.

Accommodation in Valencia right on the beach

What could be nicer than Only apartments rented almost on the coast (Valencia). The beach is protected by the state, so building houses in such areas is strictly prohibited.

You can pay attention to Alboraya - a city in the province of Valencia. Here housing on the coast is somewhat cheaper. For example, the Apartamentos Valencia Port Saplaya hotel. These are relatively inexpensive apartments for large groups of tourists. There are rooms with 2 and 3 rooms, as well as duplex apartments with 4 bedrooms, which can accommodate up to 8 people. The rental price is on average 7-8 thousand rubles per day. The hotel is located just a few steps from the beach.

Patacona Green Flats is not far from the sea. We offer apartments with two bedrooms, the cost of which varies from 2800 to 4400 rubles per day. A good option would be Valencia Holiday, also within walking distance to the beach.

If you need apartments on the coast in Valencia, you should pay attention to the following suggestions:

  • Total Valencia Beach Leisure & Culture (13,500-14,100 rubles).
  • Accommodation Beach Apartments (7600-8300 rubles).
  • Apartamentos Puerto Valencia (4300-7600 rub.).

The beaches of Valencia are pleasant coastlines for relaxation, which have been awarded the "blue flag" of the European Union. This means that they are actually ideal for relaxation, as both the sand and the water are very clean. In addition, first-class service is expected. Therefore, if you need to find your own perfect place for vacation, it is worth paying attention to Spain, in particular to Valencia. Moreover, the reviews of tourists confirm the highest quality of rest in this paradise part of the world.

Valencia's beaches are considered the best in the Iberian Peninsula. The coastal strip with a length of 450 km is divided into large popular and, hidden from prying eyes in rocky bays, small beaches. Joseph's caves

In these caves of Joseph, which are still a bunch of internal caves near Valencia, there are dinosaurs, the devil, bats- it was really scary there, I was afraid that they would attack and scratch. Although the guide immediately warned that during the day he slept and did not bother anyone at all. We took an audio guide in Russian, the sound was a little junk, I had to listen, but otherwise I really liked it.

An ideal place for a relaxing holiday. Drive to Valencia.

It is known that Valencia is a wonderful resort town in Spain with magnificent clean sandy beaches. Beautiful tropical gardens, excellent cuisine and excellent service made our stay unforgettable. However, as always on the third day my husband and I became interested in learning about other joys of this southern Spanish city.

It is in this city that the largest Oceanographic Park in Europe is located. A variety of huge aquariums with their inhabitants brought us into some kind of childish delight. To our surprise, the ticket price included a visit to the dolphinarium. This is the most popular show among children. It's always noisy and fun there. Despite the size of the territory, numerous pavilions are conveniently located. The infrastructure is thought out to the smallest detail. Even without knowing the language, we easily identified aquariums and pools that were interesting to us.
We saw sharks, sea lions, walruses, tropical fish and many other inhabitants of flora and fauna. We spent the whole day on this amazing excursion, got a lot of pleasure.

Food and groceries

The simplest lunch for two, at a local eatery, cost us 20 euros. Dinner with wine is a little over € 100 for two. If there is at McDonald's, then the simplest Big Mac set for one person, the price is 8 euros. For a cup of coffee in a coffee shop, they paid 2 euros. Excellent beer of the highest grade, the price is 3 euros for 0.5 liters. A bottle of water, cost 2 euros per liter. Be sure to try the local cheese, the price is 12 euros per 1 kg.

Souvenirs and other goods

A pair of branded jeans costs 80 euros. An evening dress will cost 30 euros. They walked a lot, so they chose shoes, and they paid $ 60 for sneakers. Fridge magnets with a city map and figurines from 6 euros. Electronics are very expensive, so they didn't find anything to our taste and our wallet. For girls, fans are very popular, made of wood, plastic, lace, for the simplest beautiful fan, we paid 20 euros.

Cost of services and entertainment

Where is the best place to stay?

Valencia is a fairly popular tourist destination. But it is inferior to the Costa Brava in terms of the number of tourists. Therefore, we have chosen this very place to spend a vacation with the whole family. The choice of hotels is quite large, but we like to stay in hotels of well-known chains, so that we always know what level of service will be waiting for us. After considering several options, we chose the NH hotels called NH Valencia Centro. First of all, I was attracted by the price. At the peak of the season, it turned out to be relatively affordable. We paid 69 euros a night in a large double room. For this money, the room rate also included breakfast. He was served every morning from 6 to 10 o'clock in the restaurant on the ground floor. Basically, a typical European breakfast set: sausages, scrambled eggs, cold cuts and cheese. There were not very many vacationers at the hotel, and therefore there were no queues for breakfast. While the range of food was quite wide even at the end of breakfast time when we went there. Unfortunately the room did not have a balcony. But the fridge and kettle were a plus. Also every day we had our minibar and tea and coffee making facilities replenished. The reception staff speaks good English, but there are no Russian speakers here. It turned out to be very convenient to get to the hotel by arriving at the bus station. After all, he is located next to him. But there is no noise. There is also a metro station and a large shopping center nearby, where we found a nice supermarket. There is a small park near the hotel, it was nice to spend time here in the evening, walking.

How to entertain yourself at the resort?

Of course, most of the time in Valencia we spent on the beach, but we also found something to see in the city. In addition to the ancient architecture, which we have been looking at for a long time in the historic center of Valencia, we twice went to see the so-called City of Arts and Sciences. This is a whole innovative town near the center of Valencia. You can get here by metro. In addition to beautiful landscaped parks where you can walk and take pictures, the main thing is the exhibition grounds. In one of the beautiful amphitheaters, there are several exhibitions at once. We liked the one about the history of the planet the most. Moreover, these are not just some familiar posters with the history of the Earth. it separate rooms, where different periods of civilization development are recreated. Historical workshops (in English and Spanish) are held here several times a day, as well as 3D films are shown. The timetable can be found on the ground floor at the information kiosk. An interesting souvenir shop is also located here. Where to buy from Einstein figurines to dinosaur puzzles. It will also be very interesting for children here. There are several children's play areas where you can play with the same dinosaur sculptures and take pictures in their background. There are also ponds near the exhibition buildings where you can ride mini-catamarans or inflatable boats, which is very pleasant in the heat of summer.

Malvarrosa (or Playa de la Malvarrosa) is one of the city's beaches in Valencia. Its picturesque name Lilac Rose came from the neighboring area that adjoined it. The place is very spacious, at least 3 km long, up to 135 m wide.

A little further south there is Las Arenas (El Cabanyal) beach, which has long been considered part of Malvarossa. In this part you can enjoy real Valencian paella and seafood tapas... On average, lunch will cost 10 euros per person.

Malvarossa is interesting not only for relaxation and tanning, but also for its flavor. Previously, the Spanish bourgeoisie rested here, but with the advent of the crisis, their ranks thinned, and now you can find here not only all strata of society, but also tourists.

For lovers of literature, too, there is a "sweetness" - namely Ernest Hemingway liked to relax in restaurants on the local waterfront... In which one no one confesses - in each they claim that it was in their institution that a famous writer was.

We advise in mandatory visit the City of Science and Arts in Valencia- a complex of 5 buildings, which is considered one of the outstanding examples of modern architecture, as well as the largest in Europe, located there.

Arbre del Gos

Arbre del Gos (or l'Arbre del Gos) is the most popular beach in the Albufera Nature Reserve. It was open to the public just 10 years ago, so there are very few tourists here, unlike Malvarossa.

In length, it has a length of almost 3 km. This place is favorable for cyclists, as there are special bike paths everywhere.

It is very calm and quiet here, an ideal place for those who are tired of the city bustle, lovers who want to hide from everyone, married couples.

It has everything you need: free showers and toilets, including those equipped for people with disabilities, first aid points, lifeguard towers, and more. The entrance to the reserve costs about 4 euros for each adult and 2 euros for a child under 10 years old..

For kids
  • There is a specially equipped playground
Entertainment
  • Walk through the reserve.
  • Bicycle rides.
How to get there
  • There are two ways - rent a bike or go by public transport.
  • The beaches of Valencia are always marked on the map, so there will be no problems with the road.
  1. The first will cost up to € 14 per week, and a € 150 deposit will also be debited. The deposit will be refunded 4-5 business days after the end of using the bike. There is a bicycle parking on the beach.
  2. City transport is less sporty and comfortable. Buses with numbers 190a, 190b, 190c also go to the place.

City beaches are pleasant with their constant shows and promotions which are often completely free. In addition, you can save a lot if you get to the beach on foot.

All in the same Albufere nature reserve is the El Saler beach (or El Saler). Arbre del Gos is located to the north, which makes it easier to get to the very destination.

The highlight of this area is the sandy beach right next to the pine grove... This way you can combine two favorite scents - sea and pine. Its length is the same as that of its northern neighbor - up to 3 km.

Thanks to the unusual neighborhood with trees, the coast is protected from cold winds. But the sea opposite is often worried, which is why El Saler is very fond of surfers and other water sports lovers. Holidays in Valencia by the sea will really appeal to athletes.

You should be careful not to wade through the forest, as you can get into the marshland. In addition, a walk along El Saler can lead to nudists, lovers of the local peace.

In terms of arrangement, the beach is equipped with everything you need:

  • equipment rental;
  • medical assistance points;
  • free shower and toilet;
  • there are food outlets on the territory.

It is worth noting that parking, although not expensive, is still paid.

Pinedo

Pinedo (or Playa de Pinedo) is considered a suburban place, as it is located 10 km from Valencia. Its length is slightly more than 3 km, and its width is 40 m.

The sand is not as snow-white as on urban counterparts - a little more golden... For this they love the beaches of Valencia very much, the photos are incredible.

The water is calm and without waves, the beach is closed from the wind by the port.

Its name came from the area located next to it - Pueblo de Pinedo. This village has been home to fishermen and handicraftsmen for centuries.

The kitchen deserves special attention. Since the place is not very crowded, the restaurants are mostly family-run, which means they are traditional.... Recipes in such establishments are passed down from generation to generation. It is not for nothing that Pinedo is so loved by the people of Valencia.

Suburban beaches are less crowded and the water is clear year-round.

In order not to spend money on renting a car or a taxi, you can use public transport and a bicycle. But the buses can travel for a very long time, and besides, they can be stuffy. A completely different question is a comfortable and sporty bike ride.

It is recommended to proceed from what kind of rest is still preferable: for those who like to lie in the sun and take part in local actions, city beaches are suitable, for those who like sports and comfortable rest without people - places in the suburbs.
