Selection of operating modes
After connecting to the mains and installing the batteries, you can turn on the air conditioner. By pressing the power button (No. 6) on the remote control, you can select one of several modes. To do this, press the “Mode” button (no. 3) one after the other. Use buttons # 2 to set the temperature.
Description of the modes.
AUTO mode. To maintain the temperature, the air conditioner independently heats or cools the air supplied to the room, depending on the ambient temperature. Note: do not use this mode with a multisplit system when several indoor units are connected to one outdoor unit. If one of them is included in the heating (cooling) mode, all the others can work only in the same mode and therefore will not be able to switch between modes.
Heating - "HEAT" mode. Heating the air. Note: when starting this mode, there may be a delay in the air supply at the beginning and stop up to 10 minutes in operation - this is necessary to defrost the outdoor unit.
Cooling - "COOL" mode. In this mode, the air is cooled and its temperature is maintained at a given level. Note: Do not use this mode when the outdoor temperature is below -10 degrees Celsius. This may damage the outdoor unit.
Dehumidification - "DRY" mode. In this case, the air conditioner minimally cools, dehumidifying the air in the room. You cannot set the temperature level in this mode.
Ventilation - "FAN" mode. The air conditioner circulates the air in the room.

Additional settings for work
The indicator lights on the front panel can indicate three modes. Both are on when the mode has not yet been reached and the difference from the set temperature is more than 2 degrees. One is on, the other is off - the set temperature has been reached. The third mode can be seen only when the multisplit system is running. One is on, the second is blinking - this indoor unit has entered standby mode, since the other is turned on in the opposite mode (for example, this one was cooling, and the other was turned on for heating).
Autorun function. If the network was de-energized when the air conditioner was operating in the mode you set, then after the appearance of electricity, it will turn on independently in the same mode.
If it is not possible to use the remote control.
To operate the air conditioner without a remote control, you can use the emergency start button. By successively pressing it, you turn on the air conditioner in the cooling-heating-off mode. The first 30 minutes after starting the ventilation mode is set to the maximum and the set temperature is not taken into account - the device operates in the maximum possible cooling / heating mode.
By pressing the FAN button you can set the fan operating mode. It can be Auto, quiet, weak, medium, strong, forced. By pressing the VANE button, you can select one of the following operating modes: Auto, manual with five tilt options, "Swing" (regular swinging of the guide).

Memory mode for settings.
Having selected the operating mode you are interested in (cooling, heating), setting the intensity of the fan and horizontal damper, you can save these settings by pressing the “I SAVE” button - a maximum of two options.
Energy saving mode.
By pressing the "Econo COOL" button you switch on the cooling mode with reduced energy consumption.

Timer.
By pressing the ON or OFF button you can set the timer settings. A maximum of 28 time points can be set. For example, the air conditioner will turn on every day at 6-00, turn off at 8-00, then turn on at 17-30 and turn off at 20-00.

Cleaning your air conditioner

Memo.
Be sure to unplug the air conditioner before cleaning.
Do not touch metal parts.
Do not use gasoline, abrasive powders, insecticides.
Do not dry parts of the air conditioner in the sun or near heat sources.
Do not use water hotter than 50 degrees.

Nanoplatinum filter.
This product is made of ceramic coated with platinum microparticles. It cleans the air better than a catechin filter. Additional air purification is provided by an electrostatic air filter, which must be washed every three months. Monitor the condition of the filters to improve the quality of the air conditioner. Be careful as plastic parts are easily scratched and will degrade their appearance.

If you think there is a problem
I cannot give a single command using the remote control - check the operation of the remote control, the correct installation and serviceability of the batteries.
The horizontal vane does not move. This may be normal in some operating modes. Check for foreign matter or damage. Press the RESET button on the remote control.
It is not possible to control the position of the damper in some modes, when the electronics itself determines its position and movement.
After restarting, the air conditioner does not work for 3 minutes - this is normal and is necessary for the safety of the air conditioner.
When starting space heating, the air conditioner does not work for 10 minutes or stops working for this time. This is necessary to defrost the outdoor unit.

If you use a multisplit (two indoor units), then please note that both indoor units must work in the same mode (both for cooling or both for heating), so if the second is turned on in a different mode, the first goes into standby mode.

If you think that the device does not cool or heats the air well enough, please check the following points. Whether the door and window are closed, whether it is too hot outside - this reduces the efficiency of the air conditioner, whether the filters are clean and there are no obstacles to the air outlet from the outdoor / indoor units. If the problem persists, call a professional as there is a possibility that it is a refrigerant leak. This substance, in contact with fire, can lead to the formation of hazardous substances.
Sounds. If sounds are heard during operation, this may be the norm. When the temperature of the indoor unit changes, its plastic elements will make sounds. Also, the movement of condensate or refrigerant can also cause sounds.
If a strange odor appears in the outgoing air, check first of all its possible sources - carpet, wall and other objects adjacent to the indoor unit.

When the air conditioner will not be used for a long time
Before turning it off for a long time, turn it on in heating mode for 3-4 hours. During this time, moisture from the indoor unit, which can cause fungal growth, will be completely eliminated. Next, you need to turn off the device by pressing the shutdown button on the remote control. Then remove the batteries from the remote control and disconnect the air conditioner plug from the outlet.

To connect after a long inactivity, you need to wash the filters, check if there are any obstacles to the movement of air near the outdoor and indoor units, insert the batteries and set the time in the remote control.

Selecting an installation site and carrying out electrical work
Place of installation
Do not install the air conditioner in the following locations.
Where there is a lot of engine oil.
In salty climates such as the coast.
In places where hydrogen sulphide gas is generated.
In places where there is a release of oil products in the atmosphere.
Where high frequency or wireless equipment is used.
Where the air outlet from the outdoor unit will be disturbed.
Where the noise from the operation of the outdoor unit may disturb other people.

Precautionary measures.

Preparation before starting work
The air conditioner should only be connected to an outlet of the required rating, grounding is required. Install batteries (not rechargeable batteries) into the remote. Do not use batteries of different type and charge level for joint installation.
Selection of operating modes

Selection of operating modes
The following modes are available for the Mitsubishi Electric MSZ-HC25VA model:
automatic mode selection;
heating the room;
room cooling;
dehumidification of air;
ventilation (taking into account the operation of the air filter, this mode cleans the air).
To start the mode that suits you, press the mode selection button on the remote control. The auto-maintain temperature mode is used to keep the room temperature within the range you specified. When it rises above the required one, cooling is turned on, if it gets colder in the room - heating.
Heating will come in handy when it's cool. It should be remembered that when the mode is started, the fan in the indoor unit will not turn on immediately, but only when the heat exchanger warms up - this is the work of protection against the flow of cold air. In addition, in this mode, freezing is possible on individual elements of the outdoor unit, so the work will stop from time to time to remove ice from the outdoor unit.
Cooling mode reduces temperature and dampness. If you want to dehumidify the room without cooling it, then you need a dehumidification mode.
The dehumidification mode is fundamentally different in that the electronics tries to extract moisture from the air by minimizing its temperature.
Ventilating the room, the air conditioner with the help of filters simultaneously cleans the air in it.

Additional modes and settings
Due to the presence of an inverter motor control system, this model has minimal effect on the wiring. To work in any mode and start the engine, exactly the power that is needed is taken.
The catechin filter, due to the presence of bioactive substances similar to those found in green tea, is more effective against microorganisms than other types of filters.
Another important property of this model is the presence of an antioxidant filter. Special components destroy free radicals in the air, while working as a catalyst - without being wasted. Therefore, it will protect your health for a very long time without requiring replacement.
To save energy, there is an "Econo cool" mode. Working in this case, the air conditioner consumes less.
Automatic restart. For your convenience, the system remembers the last mode of operation and after an emergency power outage, it will automatically start working in the same mode.
Timer. For more convenience in using the air conditioner, a timer is provided for on-off. You can specify the start and stop times of the device in advance, so that later it turns on and off on its own at the time you specify.

Useful Tips
Avoid overcooling the room - it will be bad for your health and cause energy wastage.
Pay attention to the vertical damper - when heating, air should be directed downwards, when cooling, horizontally.
Close windows and doors to keep cold air in the room. Close curtains to prevent direct sunlight from heating up the room. Excess people in the room and the included heating devices complicate the operation of the air conditioner.
Keep your air filter clean - clean every 2 weeks.
Ventilate the area regularly to avoid oxygen starvation.
To reach the desired level of cooling or heating faster, first use the "Turbo" fan operating mode.

Cleaning your air conditioner
Be sure to use a stable support for work.
Unplug the air conditioner from the mains before starting.
Do not use abrasives, solvents (including gasoline), hot water. - this can damage the appearance of the plastic.
The filter in this model can be manually washed and reused many times. Dry all parts of this conditioner after washing in the shade.

If you think there is a problem
If your air conditioner does not work, check that the plug is plugged into a power outlet and that there is power. Perhaps the work is disabled by a timer.
If you cannot turn on the device for 3 minutes after turning it off, this is the work of the system, which protects the air conditioner from frequent starts.
When dehumidifying, the indoor unit is constantly turned off. In this mode, the electronics dries the air, cooling it to a minimum, so the indoor unit will stop periodically.
When heating starts, the air conditioner does not work immediately. This is protection against the release of cold air - first, the heat exchanger heats up, and then the fan turns on.
During heating operation, the air conditioner stops intermittently for 10 minutes. This is necessary to defrost the ice of the outdoor unit, which is periodically covered with ice in this mode.
In heating mode, white smoke comes out of the outdoor unit. Cold air escaping from the outdoor unit causes condensation in the air.
Mist is coming out of the indoor unit. Cold air from an indoor unit in a room with high humidity will cause fog to appear in the contact area.
After the appearance of energy, the air conditioner began to work by itself. The auto-restart system will automatically start the air conditioner to work in the mode in which it worked before the power was turned off.
Water flows from the outdoor unit. This is normal - when heated and cooled, parts will be colder than the surrounding air, on which condensation or even ice will appear.
The picture on the remote control is deteriorated or disappeared. Check the presence and condition of the batteries. Check if they are installed correctly.
The air conditioner does not heat / cool. This may be due to a refrigerant leak, contact your service company.
The air conditioner does not cool the room well. If there are too many people in the room or there are heating devices, then its work will be difficult. Make sure the windows in the room are locked. If the curtains are open, sunlight will heat up the room and interfere with the operation of the air conditioner. Check the condition of the air filter - dirty, it creates a barrier to air movement. Check if the correct operating mode is selected.
There is a smell in the air from the unit. Check how clean the air filter of the indoor unit is. The smell can be drawn from the surrounding objects (walls, wallpaper).
A crackling sound is heard. Expanding when heated, the plastic will make similar sounds.
The sound of flowing water, dripping is heard. Condensation and refrigerant flow may well cause these sounds. If the device is turned off, the sounds are probably caused by the operation of the exhaust ventilation - air is sucked into the room through the condensate drainage hose.

When the air conditioner will not be used for a long time
Clean your air conditioner.
Turn on the heating for 2-3 hours. This will help dry the indoor unit and stop possible growth of mold and bacteria.
Switch off the device using the remote control.
Disconnect the plug from the outlet.

To turn on
Make sure there is enough air to escape from the outdoor unit.
Connect the plug to the mains, make sure that the grounding is working correctly.
Install batteries (rechargeable batteries will not work) into the remote control.

Installation site and electrical work
Do not install the air conditioner in salty, humid climates where there is a lot of machine oil and hydrogen sulfide. It should not be placed in places where flammable gases may appear in the atmosphere and where the noise of the outdoor unit will interfere with the occupants.
Please note that it is necessary to provide for where to drain the condensate from the outdoor unit. The connection should be made by specialists with experience.

Precautionary measures
Do not operate the air conditioner in places with salty and humid climates, where there is a large amount of engine oil and hydrogen sulfide. It should not be placed in places where there may be flammable gases in the atmosphere and where the noise from work will disturb the occupants.
Please note that it is necessary to provide for where to drain water from the outdoor unit.
Precautionary measures
It is forbidden to modify, change, repair, pull both the power cable and the air conditioner itself.
Do not place any objects on the air conditioner units.
It is forbidden to connect the plug of the device to an outlet of insufficient power, extension cord.
Do not pull out the power plug while the air conditioner is running - you must first turn off the air conditioner using the remote control.
Do not expose yourself, other people, animals or plants to prolonged exposure to cold air.
Do not insert fingers, pens, or any similar objects into the air conditioner.
If yours does not heat and does not cool at all, it may be a refrigerant leak - contact those who installed it.
Do not spray insecticides or flammable aerosols on the device.
Do not place electrical appliances or furniture under the units, as condensation may drip from the unit, which may damage the appliance.
Batteries must not be charged, disassembled or disposed of in a fire. Doing so may cause electrolyte leakage, fire or explosion.
Do not direct the air stream from the air conditioner to an open flame - incomplete combustion products may appear in the air.
Unplug your apparatus during lightning storms, when there is the possibility of a lightning strike.
After working several seasons in a row, additional inspection and maintenance should be carried out in addition to normal cleaning.

The air conditioner has entered tightly into the daily life of most people. It is used at home, in offices, in shopping centers - almost everywhere. With its help, you can easily and quickly both cool and heat the room. But with a huge demand, most consumers do not really know about all its capabilities. Not a few people know little about the designations of the buttons on the air conditioner remote control. This article will help you understand this issue.

Types and features

Air conditioner remotes are divided into:

  • infrared;
  • wired.

Remote controls that transmit a signal due to radiation are considered infrared. This system is used in wall split systems, cassette, ceiling air conditioners, as well as in some models of window air conditioners. Infrared remotes are convenient to use, but their range is limited to 8 meters, while it should be borne in mind that after 5 meters, malfunctions may occur due to bright lighting. This type of control is not suitable for systems installed above the recommended values, as well as those models in which the indoor units are hidden behind suspended ceilings or plasterboard structures.

Infrared remotes have a self-diagnosis system, therefore, during a failure, the indicator lamps on the indoor unit of the split system start flashing, so that the service department will need less time for diagnostics and repairs.

Wired control the air conditioner at any distance. In case of malfunctions, an error code is displayed on the display, which makes diagnostics even easier than with an infrared remote control. The wired type of control allows you to control the operation of 4-8 air conditioners. Some models have an optional temperature sensor to help ensure optimum performance.

HEAT

Regardless of the manufacturer of the split system, the main symbols on the air conditioner panel can be distinguished.

HEAT - heating, temperature up to 30 degrees. This mode is used to heat indoor air. It has a designation on the air conditioner control panel in the form of a sun. The program automatically raises the temperature to the set temperature as soon as it starts to drop. It is important to know that each appliance has its own limitations for use in cold weather. Restrictions in operation can be from -5 to -15 degrees, depending on the technical characteristics of the air conditioner. Do not neglect the rules for using the device in order to avoid damage. When choosing an air conditioner, it is important to know the conditions under which it can be used. There are models in which there are no restrictions.

COOL

This mode is used to cool the room in hot weather to 16-18 degrees. This function is considered the main one and is present in any air conditioner. It is marked on the air conditioner control panel in the form of a snowflake. Cooling occurs thanks to the filled refrigerant, which slowly takes heat from the room due to gassing and releases warm air outside. The power of the air conditioner should be selected on the basis of one kilowatt per 8-10 square meters, under such conditions the device will work most optimally. When using the cool mode, the most favorable temperature is considered to be 16-18 degrees, if not enough, then you can turn on the fan.

DRI

The dehumidification function is designed to change the set temperature by several degrees for active removal in the room. This mode is identical to COOL, but at very low fan speeds of the indoor unit of the split system. Combining the function with room cooling means more comfortable air. The DRI mode helps to quickly dry out the space and get rid of high humidity, it is easier to endure the heat and stop the development of mold. Some models of the air conditioner have special sensors that respond by automatically activating this function in case of a deviation from the norm. For example, there is this designation on the Gree air conditioner remote control. In this mode, it is impossible to program and maintain humidity values.

Air dehumidification occurs in this way:

  • The fan is active for the first 10 minutes.
  • The next 5 minutes are paused.
  • After 2 minutes, enhanced ventilation is carried out.

Do not use this mode near open sources of moisture, such as a swimming pool. In this case, other methods of dehumidification should be used.

FAN

The function is the same as a fan, it is used to change the blowing speed of the air conditioner. In this mode, the cooling and heating equipment does not function, but only air is taken from the street. Suitable for homes with central heating. In some models, you can only turn on the ventilation of the room without drawing air from the street. Manufacturers most often provide customers with a choice of 3 rotation speeds, and the mode independently selects the most suitable blowing speed.

AUTO

The function maintains the temperature in the room at 22-24 degrees, since it is considered the most comfortable for a person. The setpoint is equalized every half hour. In this mode, the temperature indicators on the display of the control panel are not highlighted.

TURBO

A mode in which air currents spread at high speed throughout the room. If it is possible to turn off the air intake from the street, you can quickly mix the air layers. Thus, the room temperature will be the same.

SLEEP

The mode is used during sleep to create a supportive environment. In this mode, the temperature changes for 6-8 hours, gradually increasing or decreasing the air temperature by 1 degree in order not to overcool or overheat the sleeping person. If the air conditioner works for heating, then the temperature rises, if for cooling, then it drops.

SWING

This mode is used to fix or change the position of the split-system blinds. Thanks to this mode, the air is distributed evenly throughout the room. On some remotes, the movement of the blinds is displayed.

AUTORESTART

This mode is not indicated on the control panel, but its presence is very important. This program works in the event of an unexpected power outage, automatically resuming the operation of the air conditioner in the specified mode when the electricity reappears.

Standard Modes

The main functions of the air conditioner are: dehumidification, cooling and heating of indoor air. The modes and their designation on the air conditioner control panel should be studied in advance in order to know the technical capabilities of the equipment. Cooling occurs due to the transition of the liquid state of the refrigerant to the gaseous state, which is carried out due to the intake of warm air from the room, and when heated, the process occurs the other way around.

Each air conditioner has basic and additional modes, which directly depend on the manufacturer and model of the device. Designation of icons on the air conditioner remote control:

  • Cool - cooling, looks like a snowflake.
  • Heat - heating, indicated by the sun on the air conditioner control panel.
  • Dry - dehumidification, drop image.
  • Fan - a fan with a corresponding pattern.
  • Sleep - night mode, image of an asterisk.
  • Lock - child protection.
  • Led - display backlight for working in the dark.

Special abilities

Some manufacturers, in pursuit of the consumer, are trying to improve air conditioners with additional options. Some of them become very useful as a result of operation. So, accessibility includes:

  • Comfort setting - is able to turn on the air conditioner in the optimal calculation mode. As a rule, in this mode, 20 degrees is considered optimal for heating, 25 degrees - for cooling the room.
  • Air purification - occurs thanks to built-in filters of various degrees of purification. It can be rough - it helps to remove large particles of dirt, and fine - it can even cope with pollen. In addition, the air conditioner can be equipped with filters that absorb odors. Street dust settles on filters, and the air in the room is always fresh. This designation can be found on the Samsung air conditioner control panel.
  • 3D stream - directs vertically. The consumer uses this feature when he is afraid of catching a cold. It will be designated lfeel on the air conditioner control panel.
  • Ionization - saturates the room with ions with negative charges. The option is designed to improve immunity and human well-being. In the reviews of some consumers it is said that during ionization there is a feeling of a breeze. There is this designation on the remote control of the LG, Mitsubishi air conditioner in some models
  • Filtration and purification of air - this function is not available in all models of the air conditioner, it is carried out by means of step filters. It helps to clear the air of dust, dirt and various microorganisms, and also helps to get rid of unpleasant odors. The function is indispensable for allergy-prone people and pet owners.
  • Defrosting the heat exchanger - maintains the performance of the air conditioner for a long time. This mode reduces the refrigerant load during cooling during cooling.

The set of additional functions directly depends on the manufacturer and model of the split system. The designations on the Mitsubishi air conditioner panel will differ from those of other manufacturers. Before purchasing the unit, you need to consult with the seller or familiarize yourself with the options using the instructions that are included in the kit.

So, each air conditioner is equipped with the following functions: dehumidification, heating and cooling of air. In addition, each manufacturer tries to surprise the consumer and diversify the capabilities of the device. Therefore, when choosing an air conditioner, it is important to study the set of functions of the model you like.

1. Saving energy consumption

Control of "perceived temperature"

I SEE is an infrared sensor that scans the temperature at the floor surface in a segment of 150 degrees, and the control system can calculate the temperature perceived by a person.

Traditional air conditioners measure the level of air temperature at the inlet to the unit, but it is located, as a rule, high, and the temperature at the bottom of the room may not always be optimal for the user. I SEE remotely measures the temperature in the lower sector of the room, which makes this function indispensable for children's rooms.

Zone heating and cooling

I SEE - Infrared Sensor - scans the temperature at the floor surface in a selectable area and smoothes the area where the temperature is significantly different from the target values. This mode zonal air-conditioning the rooms, thus providing comfort and reducing energy consumption.

Econo Cool mode

Increasing the set temperature by 2C during cooling reduces energy consumption by 20%. And so that the user does not pay attention to the increase in temperature and loss of comfort, the air conditioner provides a special algorithm for the operation of the shutters.

The air is fed vertically, then horizontally down, in turn. The microprocessor calculates and sets the intervals and duration of the cycles, taking into account the temperature of the evaporator and the temperature in the room at the moment.

I Feel Mode

If you do not know the comfortable temperature level for a person, the user often sets a very low temperature on the remote control - 16C in summer, and 26C and higher in winter. "I Feel" by means of a microprocessor independently determines the optimum temperature for the user, self-learning, taking into account the previous parameters.

Performance limiting mode

An external signal can limit system performance and, as a result, power consumption. In this mode, the power consumption is reduced to the value set by switches SW7-1, SW7-2 located on the control board of the outdoor unit:

0% (off) - 50% -75% -100% (no limit).

2. Appearance

Decorative panels

Elements of decorative panels made of plastic and metal are painted in a bright white color, appropriate in the color schemes of any interiors.

Automatic damper

The damper is horizontal, it closes automatically when it is turned off. Completely closes the opening from which the air and air distribution system parts come.

3. Air purification

Double plasma cleaning

Dual Plasma - filtration system - works on the principle of disintegration of large molecules in an electric field, ionization of molecules, and neutralization of radicals with a catalyst. Due to this, the system captures micro- and nano-dust particles and aromatic compounds.

Filtration

The air is cleared of dust and pollutants, creating a healthy atmosphere in the home.

Antioxidant filter

The filter with a catalytic coating from the flavonoid group reduces free radicals to chemically inactive molecules. The substance itself is not consumed in this case. Due to this, the filter works for up to 10 years.

Mitsubishi Electric has introduced an antioxidant into ceramic fibers embedded in a polypropylene mesh, so the filter is easy to clean and wipe, unlike filters in which catalysts are applied to polypropylene in the form of a film that quickly erases during operation.

Oil catch filter

Retains oil suspensions and prevents oil from entering the unit.

Air inflow

Fresh air enters the room, which improves its composition and quality.

Enzyme Allergy Filter

Eliminates bacteria and dust. In this case, allergens do not accumulate in the filter, decomposing catalysts to harmless compounds.

Extended life filter

The polypropylene filter fibers are specially “activated” to filter and extend the service interval.

High efficiency filter

Additionally filters the air and retains small particles that have passed through the pre-filter.

Filter check reminder

At the selected intervals, a reminder appears that the filter needs to be cleaned.

4. Air distribution system

Swing horizontal vane

The presence of this mode allows you to evenly distribute the air throughout the room.

Swing vertical guides

This mode supplies air evenly to all areas of the room.

High ceiling rooms

For them, an increase in the flow rate and air flow rate at the outlet of the indoor unit is provided in order to achieve the desired air mobility at the bottom of the room.

Low-ceilinged rooms

For them, a decrease in the flow rate and air flow rate at the outlet of the indoor unit is provided in order to achieve a small air mobility in the working area of the room.

Automatic fan speed

When approaching certain temperature parameters, the fan speed in the indoor unit decreases automatically.

Powerful air flow

For air conditioning a large area or rooms with complex shapes, a wide air flow is required (150 degrees for heating, 100 degrees for cooling. "Wide Swing" button on the remote control with a choice of the air supply method from seven options) and a long flow length ("Long Airflow" button , when pressed, the length of the air stream increases to 12 m).

5. Comfort and convenience

24 hour weekly timer

Organizes automatic operation of the air conditioner during the week. For each day of the week, there are 4 on / off switches and a change in the set temperature.

12 hour timer

The timer is set for the next 12 hours. The discreteness of its installation is 10 minutes.

I Save mode

One push of a button puts the system into a reduced power consumption mode. It is convenient to use when the user goes to bed and switches the air conditioner to heat the air up to 18C with the “I Save” button. In the morning, the same button will move the system to the previous setting at 22C.

This function is also useful when used in an economical standby heating, for example, in a country house. Models MSZ-GE / MUZ-GE are able to maintain a standby temperature of + 10C.

Automatic mode change

The system automatically switches between cooling and heating modes to maintain the set temperatures.

Autostart

The air conditioner returns to the previous set mode automatically if, for example, the power was turned off earlier.

Cooling at low temperature

The outdoor unit control changes the fan speed in order to stabilize the condensing pressure of the refrigerant, this allows the room to be cooled when the outdoor temperature is low.

"Night" mode (external block)

Reduces the noise level of the outdoor unit. It should be noted that performance in this mode is also reduced.

Limiting electricity consumption

A DIP switch on the control board of the outdoor unit sets the power consumption limit.

Fixing the operating mode

The DIP switch on the control board of the outdoor unit can fix the operating mode. For example, in summer, users will not be able to turn on the air conditioner for heating the air, or in winter for cooling.

6. Management and control

PAR-21MAA or PAR-30MAA control panel

It is possible to connect these consoles with a variety of functions, a built-in weekly timer and a Russified interface.

Central on-off

Air conditioners are connected to the central controller MAC-821SC-E, which is responsible for turning on / off and indicating the status of groups (no more than 8).

Group management

One remote control can set operating parameters simultaneously for several (up to 16) air conditioning systems.

Connecting to MXZ Multisystems

The indoor unit can be used as an integral part of inverter multisystems based on MXZ outdoor units.

Synchronous multisystem

Two to four (depending on modification) indoor units can be connected to one outdoor unit. Indoor units in this system will work synchronously. This multisystem is ideal for large mono-volume rooms.

M-NET signal line

The described devices can be connected to the signal line of multizone controllers (M-NET controllers), for example, the AG-150A controller.

Rotation, auxiliary system activation and redundancy

Rotation and redundancy: 1. The main and standby systems alternately operate in a given interval, equalizing the operating time. 2. If the operating system fails, the reserve is switched on.

Additional system: 1. When the temperature rises and exceeds the set value by the set value (4, 6, 8C), the backup system is activated in addition to the operating main one. 2. When the set temperature drops by 4C, the backup is disabled. 3. This function only works in redundant cooling mode with active rotation function.

Auto-correct connections function

Determines the correspondence of the connections of freon wires and signal lines. If there is a discrepancy, the correctness is automatically restored - programmatically. It takes 10-30 minutes to check the correctness.

* the function is used only in cooling mode when the outside temperature is above 0С. Sometimes the mode cannot determine the correctness - with closed valves, refrigerant leakage, expansion valves malfunction, etc.

Built-in drain pump

Organizes the rise of the drainage line, effectively drains condensate.

Collecting refrigerant to the outdoor unit

For condensation of freon from the main line to the external unit (when dismantling or transferring the system), the "Collect refrigerant" button is provided.

Flange connections

Simplify installation without requiring freon wire soldering.

7. Service

Collapsible body

Elements of the air distribution system can be removed for cleaning without using special tools. Cleaning the interior contributes to cleanliness and comfort in the room and increases energy efficiency.

Self-diagnosis

The malfunction code is shown on the display of the remote control, which simplifies the diagnosis.

Fault code archive

When the system is operating, fault codes are recorded in non-volatile memory and can be checked during diagnostics.

Anti-mold drainage pan

The drain pan is covered with a composition that prevents the growth and growth of mold.
