Heating plan: technical characteristics and advantages of the heating system plan. Heating plan - what is it? characteristics and nuances of installing such a system Infrared heating plan of a private house

If your home does not have a traditional stove, as well as solid fuel, diesel or gas boiler, then you can always use an alternative - this is heating PLEN or Film Radiant Electric Heater. You can find the same thing in stores called IPO or Infrared Film Heater, which does not change the essence and action of the product.

It's just that for some reason it is produced with a different name, although minor modifications are possible in any group.

We will now tell you about this alternative heater and how to install it, demonstrating in addition a video clip on this topic.

Acquaintance

Exactly the same situation is observed with the use of IPO - infrared radiation, falling on various objects in the room, heats them up, and they already create a microclimate in the room.

IR radiation is one very narrow part of the spectrum of electromagnetic waves and is in the range between the perceived human vision light (λ=0.74 µm) and microwave radiation (λ≈1-2 mm). The most useful for the human body (in small doses) are the so-called "Rays of Life", which are in the interval λ≈5-15 microns, and this is how the PLEN heating system works.

Heating PLEN: 1) power supply wires; 2) hologram; 3) the place of soldering of the electric wire and the resistor at the factory; 4) heating elements - resistive; 5) foil; 6) place of fastening

In the production of film heaters, manufacturers comply with certain specifications, which always remain the same:

  • The rated voltage of the electrical network used is 220V;
  • The maximum possible power is 175 W / m 2;
  • Rated current - 0.8 A / m 2;
  • The maximum possible heating of the film is 50⁰C;
  • Thickness - 1 mm; protective degree - IP67;
  • Possible length - 1-5 m;
  • Possible widths are 0.35 m, 0.51 m and 0.65 m.

At the same time, the film ceiling heating system PLEN has special parameters, which are indicated in the table below.

PLEN table for ceiling

Note. It should be noted very greater efficiency infrared heating - this indicator is at least 3-4 times more than that of a radiator circuit and 2 times more than that of warm water floors.

How to make calculations

To determine the amount of electricity that will be consumed during the operation of infrared film heating, you need to calculate the entire coverage area, and then multiply it by the power consumption of 1m 2 / hour PLEN. Then multiply the resulting number of W by the number of hours in a day and the days of the month - xW * xm 2 * 24 * 30. Multiply the resulting number of watts by the current cost of electricity and get a monthly result.

Of course, you may not like the price of electricity consumption with this heating method, but with the right distribution of energy resources, you can reduce the monthly fee by two to four times.

For this, automatic thermostats with a timer are used, for example, when you leave the house for for a long time, you can set the heating temperature to 14-16 ⁰C or even lower for a certain time, and before your arrival, the sensor automatically switches to another temperature mode and the PLEN will be turned on until a certain temperature rises in the room.

Mounting Features

  • As a rule, before starting installation on the floor or ceiling, the rough surface is covered with isolon, as required by the instructions from all manufacturers. After that, a place is determined for the automation unit and a cable channel is installed for laying the power supply wires. Most manufacturers usually supply fasteners, with which you can fasten both the isolon and the film itself, but if there are none, then they are easily replaced with plastic dowels with screws.
  • After the PLEN heating system is fixed to the rough surface, you connect the wires from the modules to the main wire, which, in turn, goes into the automation unit. Close the twists with electrical tape or heat shrink. After assembling and connecting the entire system, run it and check the performance of all modules by simply placing your palm on each of them, and only after that lay the finish coat.

Warning. Under no circumstances should aluminum foil be used as a substrate for PLEN, as this may cause a short circuit!

Conclusion

When you install an infrared emitter for heating with your own hands, do not forget the total power of other pantographs when calculating. The total consumer power of your home should be provided for by the local Energy Supervision Authority, but you can agree on an increase in it.

A difficult issue with the choice and creation of a heating system for your own home is sure to one degree or another confronts any homeowner. Everyone wants to get the most perfect system at the output - so that it becomes efficient, economical, inexpensive to set up and simple in everyday use, easy to adjust, if possible - compact, that is, not occupying usable area and does not require special individual rooms. Is it possible? With already familiar types of heating - hardly, and from any important parameter, anyway, but will have to give up.

But if we take a closer look at modern high-tech systems, we can see that PLEN infrared heating came very close to high rates in almost all evaluation criteria. Having recently appeared in everyday life, it is rapidly gaining popularity, but still has not yet completely overcome the threshold of human alertness to everything new and unknown.

Most likely, the reason for this lies in the lack of information about this advanced method of heating residential premises. Let this publication serve to ensure that at least a few more people do right choice and installed a PLEN system. And they, no doubt, will spread information and their positive reviews and further.

What is heating PLEN

It is not sad, but gas pipelines have not yet reached all the cities of Russia, and even more so - to suburban villages. The way out is to switch to solid fuel heating or to.

Solid fuel - this is a frequent hassle with the purchase of the necessary fuel, with its placement in the proper conditions, and you need to monitor the boiler equipment almost daily, or even several times a day.

Electric heating immediately, by definition, scares off the cost of a kilowatt, since electricity is the most expensive of all types of energy carriers. But, modern technologies ready to refute this fact. If electricity is converted into heat correctly, spent rationally, then the cost of heating a home will be quite acceptable. This allows you to achieve the physical effect of direct infrared radiation, which is technologically implemented in PLEN.

To avoid possible misunderstandings, it should immediately be noted that in this publication the abbreviation PLEN is used only as an abbreviated spelling of the term "film radiant electric heater". The fact is that the trademark of one Russian company looks exactly the same, one of the types of products of which is just such heating systems. In addition to it, there are several other companies (in St. Petersburg and Moscow, in the Urals and Siberia) that have mastered the production of high-quality PLEN. By the way, in Russia there is no point in looking for a similar imported product - this is exactly the case when domestic products are cheaper and much better than foreign analogues!

Although film heaters use the physical phenomenon of heating conductors, the process of their operation is fundamentally different from the operation of conventional electric heaters of a resistive principle of operation with huge energy consumption and irrational heat transfer. To begin with, consider the basic scheme of the structure of a standard PLEN:

1 - wires with which the PLEN element is connected to the power supply wiring. Usually they are color-coded (blue - "zero", red, brown, white - "phase"), and on some models they also letter designation- respectively "N" and "L".

3 - Factory soldering points for power wires and heating strips. These places are located inside the film and carefully insulated. Self-soldering is not permitted.

4 - heating strips (resistor). They are made of a special alloy that provides even and powerful heating, but not to too high temperatures.

5 - a layer of aluminum foil, to which heat is transferred from the heating strips, and which, due to its reflective properties, directs the flow of thermal radiation in the right direction.

6 - All of these items are hermetically sealed between two layers of durable polyester film. A free strip of glued films is left along the perimeter - it is necessary for installation work.

The number 2 shows a branded holographic sticker - manufacturing firms in this way, they strive to protect their products as much as possible from low-quality fakes.

Now about how this system works in practice.

  • When the supply voltage is applied to the contacts, the resistive strips begin to heat up very quickly to a temperature of about 45 - 50 ° C. (Some varieties of such PLEN heaters, which have a specialized purpose, for example, agricultural dryers or mini-saunas, may have higher heating temperatures).
  • The generated heat is distributed over the metallized surface of the heater - the high heat capacity and thermal conductivity of aluminum contribute well to this.
  • Due to a properly selected reflective layer and appropriate heating parameters, thermal energy is converted into radiant energy - into an infrared flux in the invisible spectrum with a wavelength of about 8 - 10 microns.
  • Such radiation, when it encounters an energy-absorbing barrier, leads to heating of the surface. At the same time, the frequency and wavelength of such an IR stream provide its almost unhindered passage through thin layers of finish - for example, through the material of a suspended or stretch ceiling.

Thus, the PLEN elements located under the ceiling lead to heating of all surfaces that are exposed to direct infrared rays - this is, first of all, the floor, but all available interior details are actively involved in the process. In turn, even a slight heating of all surfaces in the room leads to the transfer of heat into the air - a very comfortable atmosphere is created in the room with optimal temperature distribution.

So, when heating the PLEN themselves to the calculated 45 ° WITH provides a flow capable of heating the floor to a temperature of about 24 ° C. And this, in turn, will give air heating at floor level of about 21 - 22 ° WITH, and at the level of the head of an adult - about 18 - 19 ° WITH– the most comfortable distribution of heat. And, the height of the ceilings in this case does not play a special role - for infrared rays of this frequency, on the way from the ceiling to the floor, the air does not become an obstacle or a diffuser of energy.

One can, probably, unmistakably assert that the principle of operation of such heaters is peeped from nature. The most direct analogy with the sun's rays suggests itself. The infrared part of the solar spectrum with a wavelength of 7 to 10 microns is invisible to the eye, does not carry a huge amount of thermal energy - it is enough to remember that even on a cold day, the transmitted heat is felt in the sun. At the same time, such radiation is harmless to the human body and even carries a “positive charge” for health.

Advantages of the PLEN infrared heating system

So, what are the positive characteristics of such a heating system:

  • First of all, of course, it is economy. Though rather expensive Electric Energy, the costs will be quite comparable with the costs incurred by the owners of houses equal area having traditional gas heating. This is achieved by the high efficiency of such a system, the rational use of energy, low losses during its transmission, and the well-established frequency of turning on the heating - in full dependence on the temperature level in the room.

Cost-effectiveness is also achieved by the fact that the system absolutely does not need preventive maintenance or repair work. If everything was initially installed correctly, then such heaters are able to work, subject to the requirements of operation, for several decades (they talk about 30 or even 50 years, although these are probably estimated dates, since there simply were no such precedents - the history of implementation itself PLEN is still much younger).

If we are already talking about efficiency, then it makes sense to provide a table with the results of approximate comparative calculations of the prohibition of the installation and operation of various heating systems.

The table clearly shows that the installation costs are comparable, for example, with the installation of an electric boiler with a system of pipes and radiators. Gas or solid fuel heating systems will cost much more.

As for operating costs, the picture is somewhat different. Monthly payments for energy carriers - slightly higher than with gas heating, but disproportionately lower compared to an electric or even pellet boiler. And if we take into account the absence of other operating costs, and then take into account the total data of cash costs for a certain period (for example, 5 years), then as a result, heating according to the PLEN principle becomes the undisputed leader in terms of efficiency among all other types of heating systems. Thus, we can talk about the full payback of such a "project" after 2 ÷ 3 years of operation.

  • PLEN heating can be used both as the main and as an auxiliary method of space heating. Conducted practical studies have shown that it is able to fully cope with its functions of creating comfortable living conditions in any climatic zone. True, all this will be possible only if the building has received full-weight and high-quality thermal insulation of all its structural elements.
  • The convenience of such heating is that it is very easy to automate, program - because this allows you to plan its work very flexibly. For example, you can pre-set operating modes that will provide the minimum required heating of the premises at the time when residents are outside the building, but with the output to the optimal, comfortable mode by the expected time of their return. It is possible to include such heating in the "smart home" system with remote control modes via various communication channels - IP, GSM, etc.
  • Heating of PLEN elements to temperatures above 50 ° WITH impossible in principle. And this means that they are absolutely safe in terms of fire protection, even when installed in completely wooden houses (with the correct laying and switching of the electrical cable part, of course).
  • Heating of premises is not accompanied by overdrying of air, combustion of oxygen - the general level of humidity is maintained in the room.
  • Such radiation is absolutely harmless to the human body. Moreover, carried out scientists-medical studies give grounds say a lot of interesting thingsabout their healing qualities. So, getting on open areas body, infrared rays of this wavelength activate the peripheral capillary blood supply to tissues, accelerate the necessary metabolic processes. We can say that such rays to a certain extent compensate for the pronounced shortcomings sunlight and heat, which is typical for the cold half of the year.
  • Security and positive features PLEN systems are so pronounced that it is fully approved for use in children's educational institutions, including - in nurseries and nurseries gardens, and in medical institutions, and this says a lot!
  • Heating with the use of PLEN does not create pronounced horizontal air flows. It would seem - an insignificant trifle, but it is not entirely true. Such air movement does not create unpleasant, and sometimes dangerous drafts, and does not tolerate a large number dust, which is very important for people prone to allergic reactions.
  • Unlike traditional convection heating schemes, the heating of the premises to comfortable temperature values during the operation of the PLEN occurs very quickly. So, for example, to raise the temperature in the room from the original 10 to a comfortable 20 ° WITH, the PLEN system will take from half an hour to 50 minutes. The same task for convection heating will require about 10 times more time.

It is difficult to heat such a huge room in the usual way. And PLEN heating is within the power
  • The PLEN heating system is convenient for large rooms- with a proper arrangement, heating is carried out over the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe room at the same time - no other system has such capabilities.

PLEN - probably the best choice for efficient heating of the attic
  • Installation of PLEN heating is simple, and it can be carried out independently - the main thing is to be well versed in electrical engineering. There are simply no large-scale stages associated with transportation and lifting of weights, with welding or other complex construction operations. No special equipment or special equipment is required. This is another significant plus of the overall efficiency of the system. Works are carried out quickly, even with large areas of coverage.
  • PLEN heating system absolutely unpretentious to external conditions - due to the lack of any liquid, it cannot be defrosted, and, moreover, it is not very susceptible to power surges.
  • If necessary, the entire heating system can be quickly dismantled - it can be transported and installed elsewhere, since it does not lose any of its performance characteristics at all.
  • And, finally, such a heating system is just a godsend for lovers of designer home decoration. By themselves, PLEN heaters are very thin, they easily hide under any ceiling (or attic walls) finish, the main thing is that it is not metal and not a mirror surface.

PLEN canvases are very well placed above Armstrong ceiling systems

For example, PLEN elements are great for placing above stretch ceiling- its fabric is not an obstacle to the through penetration of infrared rays through it. No worse, they "feel" in combination with false ceilings such as "Armstrong".

Nothing prevents such heaters from being hidden with a plasterboard ceiling, however, the loss of thermal energy in this case will still be felt a little. Drywall is not completely “transparent” to IR rays, and part of the radiated energy will be spent on unnecessary, in principle, ceiling heating. But this is not such a significant loss to refuse such registration.

Original finishing grids - not an obstacle to the infrared energy flow

The original lattice finish of ceilings or walls, made of wood or MDF, has become popular. Behind such panels, you can perfectly hide the PLENs - the heaters will be almost invisible, and the heating efficiency in this case is excellent.

In a word, before the owner of the house, who conceived a special interior design your home, there are a lot of opportunities.

  • PLEN heating is actively used to maintain the desired microclimate in agricultural adjoining buildings.

So, with the help of such heating it is possible to maintain the desired temperature in the greenhouse or carry out periodic heating in the poultry house.

Release form of PLEN heaters

The release form of PLEN, for different manufacturers, may have its own characteristics, for example, in the width of the element or in the total length. Nevertheless, the general trend continues, and in terms of their performance, all heaters are approximately identical. For example, PLEN heaters are very popular, produced in three sizes in width - 350, 510 and 650 mm. At the same time, film elements 350 and 510 mm have two "clean" mounting areas - only at the edges, and elements 650 mm have three, along the edges and in the center.

What are the characteristics of such heating elements:

  • They can be powered alternating current 73, 110 or 220 V (the most commonly used elements are 220 V, ± 15%, 50 Hz )
  • Specific power approximately 100 W/m² - nominal, 175 W/m² - maximum.
  • The maximum heating temperature is up to 45 ÷ 50 °С.
  • The wavelength of the emitted IR flux is not more than 9.0 µm.
  • Current consumption - 1 A, peak value - up to 1.2 A.
  • The total thickness of the assembled film element web is not more than 1.0 mm
  • Film heater weight (specific) – up to 330 g/m².

If one of the readers was previously engaged in infrared, then he remembers that cutting strips into the required size according to factory marks was allowed there, followed by isolation of places cutting. In the case of PLEN, this is completely excluded - the location of the conductive heating conductors is such that no changes can be made to the size of the factory strip. The manufacturer produces a fairly wide range of standard sizes of PLEN heaters, with the above options for width and length from 1000 to 5000 mm. Thus, there is always the opportunity to purchase the most suitable for the specific conditions of a particular room. According to linear dimensions heating cloths, their total heating power also varies.

In addition to, in fact, the PLEN heaters themselves, for their installation, foil insulation materials(such as isofol or isolon with a thickness of about 3 mm) - so that the entire heat flow is directed in the right direction and is not spent on unnecessary heating of the floor.

In addition, a thermostat will become an obligatory element of such a heating system. It will monitor the temperature in the room, compare it with the preset settings and turn on the power supply to the PLENs as needed in order to always maintain the necessary comfortable microclimate.

Basic concepts about the installation of heating PLEN

Now about what you need to know to carry out self-assembly similar heating system.

  • First of all, in any case, PLEN canvases should be attached only to thermal reflective insulating material (isolon). Moreover, the coverage area of the flow or attic inclined walls with isolon in this case should be close to 100% (except, perhaps, for hidden emergency exits from the premises).

The thermal insulator strips are fixed in such a way that there are no “bare” places left. It is recommended to lay them not in a joint, but in an overlap with an overlap of about 20 - 30 mm.

Isolon is fixed in any convenient and affordable way. The main thing is that it is very firmly held on the surface, since it will then become the basis for the installation of heating film elements . For example, some PLEN manufacturers offer special universal fasteners for their heaters, which are suitable for any surface of the ceiling or walls, and will ensure reliable fixation of both the insulation and the heating film itself.

  • The ceiling area covered with PLEN canvases should be from 50 to 100% - depending on the climatic characteristics of the region. Most often they stop at a coating density in the range of 80 - 85%.
  • The PLEN sheets are arranged in such a way that the contact wires are as close as possible to the planned circuit switching point - this will be less cost on the cable channels and on wires. Nowhere and never can PLEN canvases intersect with one another.
  • You can attach the canvas to the insulated surface of the ceiling in different ways - it all depends on the base material. If circumstances permit, then the most convenient way is, of course, construction stapler- work will go as quickly as possible.

You can use self-tapping screws with a wide cap or press washer. In the event that the ceiling is concrete, you will have to drill holes for dowels or for the already mentioned universal plastic fasteners - they will be quite enough, since the load is quite small.

If the ceiling is concrete slab, then you have to tinker longer

No regulation on the number of fasteners per linear or square meter There is no PLEN - the main thing is that the canvas does not sag. To have base for preliminary calculations, you can roughly focus on 8 - 9 fixing points per square meter of canvas.

A very important point - all PLEN fastenings are made exclusively within the transparent mounting fields allocated for this! Making any holes in other areas of the canvas is strictly prohibited.

  • If it is planned to install a decorating coating, for example, then it should be noted that the distance from the mounted PLEN to the closing plane should be in the range from 10 to 150 mm - in any case, the air gap is mandatory.

Electrical work is carried out in accordance with the connection diagrams attached to the PLEN. By and large, this part of the work is best entrusted to experienced electricians - they will be able to correctly calculate the cable cross-section depending on the total power, and carry out the correct wiring. For example, in working conditions qualified specialists with the third access group are allowed to perform such work.

  • PLEN ceiling heating connection diagrams look something like this:

PLEN sheets are connected to the network in parallel, and the thermostat is installed in a phase break.

  • If you take a closer look at the table with PLEN standard sizes, you can see that there are samples for 73 or 110 V. They are small in size and are designed for limited - narrow, complex in configuration sections of the ceiling, where large canvas simply won't fit. In this case, the connection is made with an important feature. For example, two 110 volt canvases must be connected in series.

It is clear that if canvases of 73 volts are used, then there should be 3 of them in a series circuit - in total, 220 V should still be obtained.

  • One more nuance. The thermostat is placed in a phase circuit break only if the total load current does not exceed 9 A. When the current is higher, a different switching circuit is used - using a special device called a modular contactor.

The main task of the modular contactor is to remove an unnecessarily large load from the contactor of the thermostatic device, since the thermostat is a fairly thin and accurate device that absolutely does not need overheating.

All contact connections must be made by soldering with obligatory two-layer insulation with a heat shrink tube.

  • Now - about the place of the correct installation of the thermostat itself. The fact is that in the PLEN system most often there are no additional temperature sensors, and the function of controlling the current temperature in the room is assigned to the thermostat itself. Thus, he himself takes readings, and he himself generates control signals to start or pause the operation of the heaters. It is this circumstance that makes special requirements by choosing a place for the control device.
It is very important to choose the right place for the thermostat

- The temperature controller is located at a height of at least 1000 and not more than 1500 mm from the floor. Very often, its location can be combined with standard seats switches.

- In order for the device to work correctly, it is not allowed to install it in the immediate vicinity of windows and doors - in places where the air temperature may differ from the general "background" in the room. The thermostat must not be in areas where drafts often prevail.

- In order to exclude the influence of the wall temperature on the temperature controller sensor, a gasket made of thermal insulation material (possibly the same isolon) with a thickness of about 5 mm is necessarily installed under the body of the device when it is mounted on the wall.

A finely tuned thermostat will keep the temperature in the room very high precision. A drop of even 1 degree will turn on the power supply to the PLENs. And accordingly, when the desired level is reached, a signal will immediately be generated to pause the work.

A well-established system, by and large, does not need to be turned off at all throughout the year. It is no secret that even in summer there are very cool evenings and nights, and PLEN will always maintain the desired temperature set in advance by the user. The only difference will be that in winter the system will turn on several times per hour, and in summer - per day, and maybe even per week.

In addition, modern electronic thermostats open up a lot of other interesting possibilities - programming day and night operating modes, by time of day, by day of the week - selectively on workdays, weekends and public holidays, With taking into account time of feed-in tariffs and much more.

A few important notes

To logically complete the publication, there is a need to emphasize several important points, without which the use of the PLEN system would be impossible or ineffective.

  • It has already been mentioned that the PLEN heating system will certainly prove its effectiveness and efficiency only if the building is reliably thermally insulated. It is useless to wait for inexpensive comfort if the heat flies through walls, windows or doors to the street.
  • Moreover, one should not think that by installing such a system in only one room, all problems can be solved. If the rest of the rooms are not heated, such heating will not be effective.
  • Do not open the windows during the cold season, if it seemed that the rooms were too hot. It would be more appropriate to simply lower the temperature setpoint - the rooms will quickly become cooler. Since there is no oxygen consumption during the operation of the PLEN, it is not worth taking special ventilation measures.
  • It has already been said that it makes no sense to turn off the system for the summer - just set the desired temperature, and the system will decide for itself whether to turn on the power.
  • The passport data indicate that the nominal energy consumption for stable operation and good building insulation is about 15 W / h per square meter. This is calculated to maintain the room temperature at 20 °C. If it is required to increase or decrease it, then the power consumption will proportionally change in one direction or another by about 5% for each degree.
  • A characteristic feature is that the limit of feeling maximum comfort with infrared ray heating is reduced by about 3 degrees. For example, if with convection heating the most pleasant atmosphere is felt heating up to 23 ° WITH, then with PLEN the same sensations will be already at 20 °.
  • When connecting the electrical circuit, one should not forget about a separate power machine in the switchboard, specially designed for this heating system.

Video: advantages of the PLEN infrared heating system

The direct result of scientific and technological progress is the creation of a new PLEN heating system, which is fundamentally different from everything that was previously presented on the consumer market.

It is impossible to explain in a nutshell what this nanotechnology is, although outwardly it resembles a special film that is simply mounted under the outer ceiling surface, but not everything is as simple as it seems at first glance. That is why this article will be devoted to the essence and principle of operation of PLEN heating, as well as personal experience use of this system by the average population of our country.

The principle of operation of the heating system PLEN

PLEN is a heating system based on the use of an electric film heater, the special design of which produces infrared radiation. The prototype of this technology is the natural processes of heat transfer, and the effect of its use is comparable with heat from the sun.

The film infrared heater has a multilayer lavsan structure, the total thickness of which does not exceed 1–1.2 mm. Inside the lavsan films, there are built-in special heating metal elements, as well as aluminum foil, which can be heated to the maximum mark - 45 degrees. The above-mentioned lavsan material performs both an electrically insulating function and an externally finishing one.

When this system is turned on, current flows to the resistive elements, which in turn heat the foil. The resulting infrared rays, whose wavelength is 9.4 microns, heat interior items, equipment, gender, and even people present, is charged with their thermal energy and gives it back. Thus, the feeling of warmth and comfort will be preserved in all residential premises.

The PLEN system can be attributed to both the main and additional role for heating a country house, apartment, warehouses or office buildings.

Installation all equipment is different:

  • simplicity;
  • small labor costs;
  • execution speed.

For convenience, the film heater is produced in various parameters, namely: its length can vary from 1 to 5 meters, and its width can be 0.35 - 0.65 m.

It is installed on 80% ceiling surface and is quite suitable for drywall constructions, tension or dropped ceilings. After activating the system, infrared streams slowly heat up the house and after 10-14 days are completely set at the level of normal distribution of thermal energy. The area of the house on which such a system can be installed does not matter, and the height should not exceed 3.5 meters.

The quality of work and the effectiveness of such technology is influenced by a number of factors, the non-observance of which can lead to a number of financial loss and moral dissatisfaction from its use. It is recommended to consider the following:

  1. Climatic parameters of the area. If the house is located in an area that is highly exposed to winds, then heat losses will be much greater, the system will turn on more often to maintain a comfortable temperature level, which, accordingly, will entail additional electricity costs;
  2. High quality home insulation. If you decide to install a PLEN heating system, then the most important condition that must be met is a well-insulated house. This applies to all structural elements: roofs, floors, walls, windows, ventilation systems, chimney etc. Otherwise, the loss of thermal energy will be very large even in the most calm and calm weather. Many do not think about these issues and as a result they get a poorly heated room, along with a huge item of electricity costs.
  3. famous and well established company installation of a film electric heater. Today, various Chinese fakes can be purchased on the market, the manufacturers of which bear absolutely no responsibility for their products, and their quality leaves much to be desired. This is what scammers and unscrupulous installation firms of this kind use. Therefore, before entering into a contract, study all the information, associated with the Plain heating installation company, namely its reputation, media coverage and license to carry out such work.

Pros and cons of a film electric heater

A fairly large list of advantages can be devoted to this type of heating system, which, according to manufacturers' forecasts, will help the film infrared electric heater to take a leading position in the consumer market. Disadvantages, of course, also make themselves felt, but they rather relate to the correct installation and operation of the equipment. So, advantages of PLEN heating are as follows:

The main disadvantages of film electric heaters are two main points. The first of them is the obligatory warming of the whole house, and the second lies in the impossibility of using it as interior decoration plastering, painting and wallpapering.

Feedback on heating PLEN

For a deeper acquaintance with film infrared heating, it would be advisable to consider the opinions of people who have already installed such equipment and have had experience of working with installation companies. Moreover, manufacturers cannot always tell all the nuances, especially if they have a negative connotation.

I am the owner of a new three-story house. Unfortunately, the possibilities of connection to gas or central heating not in our area. In 2012, I installed infrared heating on the ground floor. I doubted it very much, but to my surprise a week later the temperature rose from -15 degrees to +20. Then, on the second floor, I mounted a mixed heating arrangement, namely in several rooms on the ceiling, and in the rest on the floor.

The next winter, they flew away on vacation and set the temperature controller to +18, upon arrival it was +21. For myself, I figured out that the supply and exhaust should work fine. After one winter month we paid 4500 rubles for electricity, this is together with the cost of a 100 liter water heater. In general, I am very satisfied with the heating and I recommend it to everyone.”

Dmitry, Cheboksary

I installed such a system in the summer of the year before last, turned it on in the fall and was very disappointed due to the high power consumption - about 1.5 more than I was promised. Several times during the winter, electricity was knocked out because the permissible load was exceeded. There was no money to make another heating, so he called the workers from the service department. As it turned out, I had very poor insulation of the ceiling on the second floor, and in order not to knock out the electrician, they installed a maximum current relay. In the summer I insulated everything, and when autumn came, everything worked like a clock. So, in principle, I am satisfied, just if I knew some points in advance, the first year I would not have to face such problems. I advise you to consult more!”

Sergey, Moscow

My friends basked in this system and if not for this, they would never have installed it for themselves! Works great! I forgot what it was like to heat the stove, but I didn’t remove the batteries and the stove, and suddenly the light would be turned off at the most inopportune moment. I decided to put a separate counter on the Plan, so I can say that in the coldest month, 1870 kilowatts burned. Much more comfortable than with a stove, just set the temperature and that's it, the house heats up. The floor became very warm, we even walk without slippers. Now, when we leave for a long time, we set the temperature to 10-12 degrees without turning off the system and everything is fine. I am very pleased with Plan and I recommend him to everyone.”

Maxim, Rostov-on-Don

What can I say, the heating system works great. The heat is distributed evenly and softly, and the floors are always warm. I had this equipment installed only on the first floor, and when I decided to mount it on the second, I ran into problems. to my house need about 15 kW, and we are already using 14 kW. Now I think what to do. Or abandon the system altogether, or change input cable, but this requires the permission of power engineers and a powerful substation. So, such a system has problems during installation. Although personally I am pleased with her work and rate 5 plus.

Yuri, Volga region

Based on all of the above, we can make an affirmative conclusion that the Plain heating system itself very good quality and economical. But, good indicators of its work can be achieved only by taking into account all the nuances associated with the thermal insulation of the house, possible problems with the electricity consumed, and also pay attention to good maintenance from the company that installs such equipment.

The company "Teply Mir Electro" offers efficient film electric heaters for "heating ceiling" heating systems. Optimum cost, choice of sizes, ease of installation and quick payback. Infrared heating works in any type of premises (house, dacha, cottage), is used as the main type of heating. No maintenance costs, material warranty - from 25 years.

Video reviews about PLEN

The device of the heating system in the house must be approached with all seriousness. Such thermal blocks must be durable, efficient, economical, safe for human health and, if possible, for the environment. And among all the variety of heating structures, the PleEn heating system most of all meets these requirements. Her job is to heat the room by means of infrared radiation.

A bit of theory

What is PLEN heating system? This is a film radiant type heater powered by electricity. Such a thermal device is a pair of thin film sheets, between which are located resistive infrared emitting elements.

We note right away that Plen is only an abbreviation, but not a trademark for a manufacturer of heating equipment. Although it is worth noting that this company, and others that have mastered the production of very decent quality Plen, allow you to make a choice in favor of domestic products. Compared to foreign analogues, it is much cheaper, but the quality is not that lower, but even higher.

The advantage of this heat source is that it can be used on the ceiling, floor, walls. Entrance group etc. If the thermal insulation is done correctly, any installation site will function properly throughout the entire period of operation.

Principle of operation

Despite the fact that film heaters also release heat when the conductors are heated, the principle of their operation is fundamentally different from resistive heaters, which have significant electricity consumption and minimal heat transfer.

Web design

  1. wires for connecting the web to a 220 V network
  2. trade mark, mark, brand, as a rule, a hologram for high-quality protection of own products
  3. junction of wires and heating elements, completely isolated from outside interference
  4. heating resistive elements
  5. foil layer for correction and direction of thermal waves inside the room;
  6. a layer of polyester to protect all elements, along the edges of which free ends are left for high-quality and simple connection canvases with each other.

When the film web is connected to the mains, the resistors soldered between the layers of the thermal film receive a charge of energy that is required to warm them up.

The average temperature regime for heating the PleEn block is 45-50°C, which is quite enough to heat the resistors. As soon as the structural elements are heated to a predetermined temperature, the emission of infrared radiation begins. It is evenly distributed throughout the heated room, gradually being absorbed by solid objects. Simply put, an infrared heating unit first of all warms up furniture, people, floor surfaces and wall coverings, which, in turn, emit secondary heat. It turns out that the room, which is equipped with Plen infrared heating, is filled with numerous heat-radiating sources.

In order to increase the efficiency of the PleEn heating system, it is necessary to perform thermal insulation of the surface before laying the thermal fabric. For these purposes, it is best to use foil film. This will eliminate heat loss and direct thermal energy to a heated room.

If the building, which will be equipped with the Plen infrared heating unit, is insulated with a high-quality heat insulator, then it will take not so much time to warm up the resistive element itself. As soon as the required temperature indicators are reached in the room, the Plen heating system is turned off and turned on only to maintain comfortable conditions. So that the room maintains a constant temperature, set initially, it is recommended to turn on the heating device for 10-15 minutes. But the frequency of such inclusions largely depends on the rate of cooling of the room, but in any case, this allows you to significantly save costs on paying electricity bills.

This heating option can be an excellent additional heat source, and it can also be easily used as the main heater. The peculiarity of the IR film sheet is that it can be placed in any place convenient for you. It can be both a floor surface and walls, as well as a ceiling.

When PleN is used as the main source of heat, then in order to maximize the efficiency of such a heater, it covers at least 90% of the insulated surface.

According to reviews, the warm ceilings of PleEn do an excellent job of heating preschool and school institutions, private houses, apartments multi-storey buildings and even industrial facilities.

Mandatory installation requirements

When installing PleEn infrared heating, the price of which depends on the manufacturer, it is necessary to take into account a lot of nuances:

  • security required level thermal insulation, which is due to SNiP;
  • the surface on which the heating film will be laid must be flat, clean, without any bulges and damage;
  • the efficiency of the IR heater will be extremely low if subjected to mechanical damage;
  • it is strictly forbidden to disassemble or cut the film electric heater

Just bought and not deployed a heating element PleN is highly undesirable to connect to the mains. Otherwise, it may break the resistance rods.

  • connecting and checking the film ray heater is carried out only when the power supply is turned off;
  • to install the thermostat, you must use wooden stand covered with foil

  • the thermostat is mounted no lower than 170 cm from the level of the floor surface, and the wall on which it is located must be internal, and not external (in contact with the street);
  • the unfolded canvas is attached in any convenient way, but the construction stapler is the most effective in terms of speed and strength.

Advantages of film IR heating

Even the ceiling can be insulated with such a heater

In comparison with other alternative heating sources, IR film heating has a lot of advantages:

  • provided correct installation and the operation of the heating cloth, the PleN heating system can last at least three decades;
  • there is no need to service the thermal unit through service center employees;
  • economic benefit - infrared heaters consume little electricity and at the same time are able to effectively heat the room;
  • quick payback of the financial resources spent on the purchase and installation of the thermal sheet - in just 1.5-2 years, the PleEn heating system will more than pay for itself. average price- from 1600 rubles per square meter;
  • ease of installation, dismantling and transfer to another location on your own;
  • does not dry out the air in the room and does not burn oxygen;
  • environmentally friendly safety - infrared radiation can in no way harm the human body, as well as the environment
  • absence of noise and extraneous sounds during the operation of the heater;
  • almost all models of film infrared heating systems are protected from electric shock;
  • PLEN meets fire safety requirements;
  • no reduction in the useful area of the room due to the minimum thickness of the material;
  • high ratio useful action - 85-90%;
  • does not become unusable due to voltage fluctuations in the network and sudden power outages;
  • thanks to IR radiation, you can get rid of problems such as mold, dampness and high humidity;
  • high speed warming up;
  • preservation of thermal energy for a long time after the heater is turned off;
  • the presence of an automated control unit, thanks to which you can easily control the heating process and adjust the temperature regime;
  • economic benefit - in comparison with other electric heaters, IR film heating systems save up to 70% of financial resources for the purchase of energy resources.

As of today, PleN is an innovative heating system, the popularity of which continues to grow every day. And this is not surprising, because, having an impressive number of advantages, such thermal installations have practically no disadvantages. The use of a film radiant heater is the best choice for those who prefer warmth and comfort, and also care about their health and the health of their loved ones.

VIDEO: Country answer (NTV), energy-saving heating

The process of heating with infrared radiation occurs due to its physical properties. Mainly such as reflectivity, absorption ability various surfaces and substances, transmission, dispersion, etc. For example, air consists of nitrogen and oxygen molecules, almost does not absorb, but partially scatters and easily transmits such radiation. The human body, like any objects in the room, for the most part absorbs electromagnetic waves from this part of the spectrum, only partially reflecting them.

The principle of heating with infrared radiation

In the process of infrared radiation, electromagnetic energy is transformed into thermal energy. Thus, any objects in the room, when heated, give this energy to the air, as a result of which it is heated.

With infrared heating, the conversion flows reduce their speed by an order of magnitude, and the rays, falling on the human body, activate its peripheral circulatory system, which causes thermal comfort 3-4 ˚С earlier than with conventional heating by convectors. Being the most useful part of the solar spectrum, the emitted rays compensate for the "solar hunger".

That is, any heated object is such radiation determines the molecular composition and temperature of the object. The amount of energy received depends on this. Another example of such heating is the Sun, which heats our Earth. It is the most powerful source in the solar system. The sun is her natural heater. Everything living on Earth needs the warmth of the sun, and humanity is no exception. infrared Sun rays travel billions of kilometers in space and at the same time their losses are minimal. Any surface encountered in their path heats up, absorbing the energy of the rays and turning into heat.

Fundamentals of infrared heating

The most comfortable for people are long waves. Since the range of infrared radiation itself is quite large, scientists have divided it into three subranges:

  • Short - it is adjacent to the visible part of the world.
  • Average.
  • A long.

The hottest objects emit shorter wavelengths. The warmer the object, the shorter the wave.

PLEN heating is an alternative to the outdoor heating system used by nature. The ceiling-mounted PLEN system allows you to get thermal comfort in the same way that the Sun gives it to all living things. Long-wave radiant energy emitted by heating elements heats objects, floors, machines, which, in turn, accumulate it and then give it to environment. At the same time, it remains natural.

That is, the meaning of what has been said boils down to the fact that in order for the room to become warm, it is not at all necessary to heat the air in it.

What is PLEN and how does it work?

PLEN stands for It is an infrared heating system consisting of a resistive radiating element located between polymer films. The basis of the PLEN system is the interaction of infrared radiation with various matter and its physical properties.

A resistive element is called because it consists of several layers of resistor circuits (resistances). When PLEN heating is connected to electrical network, then an electric current begins to pass through the resistors, and they heat up to a sufficiently high temperature - 40-50 ° C. At the same time, the material from which the resistors are made can emit infrared radiation. And in order for it to go to heat the room, before laying the PLEN, foil is placed on the side of the ceiling, walls, floor or other surface, which reflects the directional rays.

The heating time of the resistor film takes less than 10% of the time required to heat up the entire room. Within 1-2 hours the temperature increases by 10 degrees - this is the minimum interval. Then the PLEN heating system continues to maintain the set temperature and turns on periodically for 3-15 minutes during every hour.

Even the most good heater will not work properly if it is not managed properly. The PLEN heating system, as a rule, consists of a heater and the required temperature is set by a thermostat. The thermostat installed in the room itself controls the temperature around it using the built-in temperature sensor and controls the special block, according to the difference between the actual and set values detected by it.

In addition, if the room is properly insulated, then PLEN consumes less electricity.

Application and installation of PLEN

There are no special restrictions on the use of PLEN. It is used both as a main and as an additional heating. Installation on a floor, walls, a ceiling is possible. When using PLEN heating as the main heating, user reviews confirm this, it is enough to cover only 75% of the ceiling or floor. They heat apartments, cottages, industrial premises, offices, loggias, etc.

PLEN shows the greatest efficiency in places where there is maximum air exchange.

PLEN for private houses

Infrared heaters are suitable not only for new buildings, but also for the renovation of existing ones. By choosing PLEN heating, you will be able to save significantly already at the design stage. You do not have to build a special boiler room or allocate one of the premises of the house for it. Also, you do not have to think over the fuel storage scheme, whether it be coal, firewood or diesel fuel. The house will never smell of burnt coal or diesel fuel. In addition, the appearance of the house will not be spoiled by radiators and pipes sticking out of the walls, which are inherent in traditional heating. And most importantly, IR heaters will remove dampness in the shortest possible time, maintaining a comfortable temperature in all individual rooms.

Application in children's institutions

The most acceptable heating system for rooms intended for children is PLEN. Heating of this type is fireproof and convenient. It is not subject to mandatory certification, does not cause dust in the air, convection drafts and creates the effect of a “warm floor”, and therefore protects children from hypothermia.

This system is resistant to low temperatures - it works well even at -60 o C. Usually about 70-80% of the ceiling is closed with it.

Installation requirement for PLEN

  • Mechanical impact on the device is prohibited.
  • The building (or room) must comply with the requirements of SNIPs in terms of thermal insulation.
  • Installation must only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
  • It is forbidden to lengthen or shorten the PLEN.
  • It is forbidden to operate the device rolled up.
  • It is forbidden to disassemble film heating PLEN.
  • The surface must be level and free from dust and dirt.
  • Contact of PLEN with aggressive chemical environments is unacceptable.
  • Installation can only be carried out with a de-energized network.
  • Single-phase input is used only with a total power of up to 5 kW. For higher power, a three-phase input should be used.

PLEN heating: features and benefits

  • Installation and dismantling for reinstallation to another location is minimally simple.
  • PLEN is equipped with a fire safety system.
  • It works silently and does not create unpleasant vibrations.
  • At least heating PLEN works up to 25 years, if the rules for its installation are correctly observed.
  • Oxygen is not burned and does not affect the change in room humidity.
  • Does not require service.
  • Heating costs are 70% lower when compared to other heating systems.
  • Payback of the system in 2 years, including the cost of its installation.
  • Calmly relates to voltage drops.
  • Short floor heating time after switching on.
  • Eco-friendly and practically does not take up space in the room;
  • PLEN heating has a much smaller electromagnetic field than household appliances, which is within the normative background.
  • Automated and easily customizable.
  • Standby mode is about +10˚С.
  • Easily decorated with any non-metallic materials.
  • Radiation is useful for immune system and also ionizes the air in the room.
  • Since the floor is always warm, the system is prophylactic against colds.

Impact on human health

Studies conducted by scientists have shown that long-wave infrared radiation has the most beneficial effect on the human body, and in particular, its part adjacent to the middle subrange is the “rays of life”, whose wavelength is from 5 to 15 microns. It is in this interval that PLEN infrared heating works. In the same range is the thermal radiation of the human body. Back in the sixties, Japanese scientists, on the basis of these discoveries, patented emitters of a special design, subsequently used in infrared saunas. For decades, scientists have conducted joint research and proved the benefits of procedures obtained in infrared cabins. Infrared therapy appeared. Thanks to her, PLEN heating appeared. Feedback from those who have used this heating system shows that it has proven to be effective and quite in an efficient way fight not only with colds, but also with problems of excess weight. It also perfectly stimulates the activity of the stomach and helps to get rid of cellulite.

Accordingly, any talk about the dangers of infrared radiation for human health is a fantasy, and nothing more.

PLEN - home heating, comparable to heating with light rays. It is possible to achieve uniform comfortable lighting in the room only by correctly distributing light sources. The same applies to infrared emitters. When designing an infrared heating system, one should rely on the height of the ceilings, the type of the room itself and its area. Then later you will not have to complain about uneven heating.
