Grundfos dme pumps. Grundfos dosing pumps. ALDOS series. Models: DME, DMS, DMX, DMH. Specifications DME SM

Grundfos DME digital dosing pumps combine perfect precision with ease of use, delivering high volume dosing ranging from 60 l/h to 940 l/h in several versions.

Digital dosing

Using stepper motor/brushless drives direct current optimizes travel speed control and makes it highly accurate. The duration of each injection stroke varies depending on the flow setting. The duration of the suction stroke always remains constant, but it can be extended by using the anti-cavitation function and thus adapted to the respective needs. Thus, suction always occurs at full stroke. This ensures continuous dosing and lower pulsation in dosing systems - this important factors for uniform pumping of the outgassing medium and for use in installations requiring long suction lines.

The DME series of pumps has all the advantages of the well-known smaller series of digital dosing pumps for even easier dosing with high precision.

Precise and easy tuning

The operator can easily install the pump and fine-tune the amount of liquid dispensed to suit the application. The pump setting can be seen directly on the display in ml/h or l/h with pulse or batch pumping. The operating mode is easily identified by icons.

Dynamic control range 1: 800

With a dynamic control range that is ten times better than conventional equipment, DME digital dosing pumps offer maximum flexibility and precision.

Dynamic range control for suction strokes up to 75%, 50% or 25% of maximum speed ensures optimal pumping and displacement of even the most difficult liquids.

Unique technology

Unique drive technology and microprocessor control provide accurate dosing of liquids with low pulsation, even when the pump is working with highly viscous or degassing liquids. Instead of the usual stroke length adjustment, the DME pump output is controlled by automatically adjusting the motor speed during the discharge stroke at a fixed suction stroke speed. This ensures optimum and uniform mixing.

Communication via fieldbus communication

Available with Profibus interface for output of operational data and status information for quality control, preventive maintenance and subsequent use.

Overload protection

The built-in overload protection monitors the back pressure of the pump and protects it from excessive pressure loads.

Switching power supply

Switching power supply allows Grundfos DME digital dosing pumps to be used worldwide in the 100-240V range alternating current- 50/60 Hz.

Several material options

The dosing heads of the DME pumps are available in of stainless steel, PVDF and does not adversely affect environment cost-effective polypropylene.

Additional Information: industrial pumps.

DME series pumps are diaphragm pumps with built-in vent valve, suction and delivery ball valves. The pumps are supplied with an electrical cable and plug.

The unique motor and microprocessor control ensure accurate dosing with low pulsations even when working with highly viscous and gassy liquids.

Electronically controlled stepper motor pump type DME provides optimal control of the speed of the working strokes. The duration of each suction stroke is constant, while the duration of each discharge stroke varies according to the set capacity value, as a result of which, under any operating conditions, the optimal speed diaphragm movements.
This has the following advantages:

The capacity control range for pumps (60−940 l/h) is 1:800
The capacity control range for pumps (0−48 l/h) is 1:1000.
Uniform and constant metered supply of the reagent ensures the optimal ratio of the mixture components at the injection point.
Pressure peaks are significantly reduced, which prevents the occurrence of mechanical stresses in the diaphragm, pipes, joints and other components and parts that are subject to wear during dosing and can cause leaks.
Suction and pressure pipes of great length have a lesser effect on dosing accuracy.
The process of dispensing very viscous and gas-containing liquids is facilitated. In any operating mode, the optimum dosing curve is obtained, as shown in the diagram below.

Powerful variable speed motors with a regulation depth of 1:1000/1:800 and various options management, including:
Pulse control;
Pulse control in the "batch" mode;
Management based on the built-in timer;
Analog control 0/4-20 mA;
Control by level sensor;
Fieldbus communication module (Genibus, Profibus).
guarantee that seven sizes of DME pumps cover the range from 0.002 to 940 liters per hour at pressures up to 18 bar. Switching power supply provides stable operation and accurate dosing regardless of power supply conditions (100-240 V, 50-60 Hz).

Grundfos DMS pumps

DMS series pumps are diaphragm pumps with built-in vent valve, suction and delivery ball valves. The pumps are supplied with an electrical cable and plug.

Synchronous motor with electronic system DMS pump control provides almost the same benefits as DME pumps. The value of the speed of the suction and discharge strokes remains constant, while the stroke frequency changes according to the set capacity value.
The sinusoidal nature of the diaphragm movement provides the following advantages:
The pump always runs at full stroke, regardless of the set value.
performance while maintaining optimum dosing accuracy, initial priming and suction.
The capacity control range for pumps of each size is 1:100.
Reducing pressure peaks, which prevents the occurrence of mechanical stresses in the diaphragm, pipes, joints and other components and parts that are subject to wear during dosing and can cause leaks.
The process of dosing of very viscous and gas-containing liquids is facilitated. In any operating mode, an optimal dosing characteristic is ensured.

The DMS range of synchronous motor pumps with a regulation depth of 1:100 (includes four pump sizes with two control options) covers the range from 0.02 to 12 liters per hour.
− DMS-A version has pulse, analogue 4-20 mA and level sensor input;
− The DMS-B version does not have inputs for external signals.
− The DMS-D version does not have inputs for external signals and is not equipped with a control panel.

Grundfos DMH pumps

Grundfos DMH are piston diaphragm dosing pumps with capacities from 2.2 to 2x1150 l/h.

The Grundfos DMH range is a series of highly durable reliable pumps, which are used in cases where it is necessary to dose with a sufficiently large operating range at high pressure. The DMH pump provides accuracy within ±1% of calculated value flow, so when choosing pumps for complex tasks and automatic integration into the process, preference is given to DMH pumps. It is worth paying special attention to the durability of these pumps: our customers around the world say that DMH pumps have been working without failure for years.

Pumps are available in a wide variety of configurations to suit virtually any application. For example, you can choose either an electric or a pneumatic servomotor (option: with frequency converter). You can choose electrically heated dosing heads or equip pumps with double diaphragms with a diaphragm rupture indicator. If you are in doubt about the correctness of your choice, contact
