Outlast 2 (English "Survive 2") - continuation of the acclaimed survival. The game is being developed by the studio Red Barrels.

Plot

The game will take place in the same universe as in the first game, but Outlast 2 will have new main characters and a plot. Outlast 2 will take you on a new journey - into the depths of the human mind and its dark secrets.

Gameplay

The game is expected to be mechanically similar to the original. Studio co-founder Maureen described the development game as "an emotional attraction." He emphasized that all design decisions in it come from how they affect the experience of the players and whether they serve those experiences. From the teaser trailer, it can be understood that Outlast 2's plot will have a religious connotation.

No conflict is black or white. But as soon as everything is settled, the winners gather to find out who was right and who was wrong. Who is good and who is evil. And here we actually have a 5-year-old PC for maximum settings, which pleases, since the picture in the game is decent, judging by the demo version of the game that has been available for a long time. Like the first part, Outlast 2 will most likely delight gamers not only with a technical component, but also with an atmospheric and, we hope, a deeper and more interesting storyline.

In the first part of "Outlast" the curious journalist had a chance to feel all the horrors and fears in one of the psychiatric hospitals, under the command of a mad doctor and other deranged persons. Judging by the recent video gameplay, the studio developer Red Barrels will slightly expand the gameplay, add more interaction with objects in order to get further.

There will be a need to swim. Enemies will also become more annoying, they will be able to crouch and break glass. This is only a small part of the innovations, but even this, plus an extremely gloomy and oppressive atmosphere, will force the main character to save every ray of light, because it requires, as before, batteries that will have to be looked for and saved.
