The world's most powerful: the most influential people in the world. The world's most powerful: the world's most influential people 10 most powerful people

Last week, the British newspaper Guardian compiled a list of 30 "influential Muscovites under the age of 30." The list was actively discussed, argued, and outraged. I myself still cannot understand what Edward Snowden or Isabel Magkoyeva is doing there, how Ilya Yashin and others influence the minds of Muscovites. But the journalists from the Guardian know better. All these personal ratings are sheer nonsense that journalists come up with to have something to discuss in the smoking room.

I want to present to you the only important rating of those who really influence the minds of Russians. Those who shape the agenda of tomorrow. Today, on the Day of Russia, I have prepared for you a rating of the most influential cats in the country!

1. Cat Dorotheus

The name of Dorofei, the favorite of Dmitry Medvedev, became known to everyone after rumors about his disappearance spread across the network in 2012. The journalists did their job, and even the Ministry of Internal Affairs had to refute the news of the disappearance of the cat. As a result, Dmitry Medvedev showed the cat on his Twitter and said that Dorofei had not gone anywhere.

Original photo of Dorotheus with the President and First Lady of the United States:

Prior to that, Dorofei got on the front pages of the media only once, when in 2008 he was seriously injured in a fight with Mikhail Gorbachev's cat. Then he was criticized by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, which reminded that "Zyuganov's cat Vasily, unlike Medvedev's Dorofey, always won in fights with rivals, never avoiding a collision."

Zyuganov's cat Vasily

Dorofey died last year, but Russia will not forget his merits. It was thanks to him that the whole country learned about the existence of the Neva Masquerade breed.

Now the cat Milka lives in the Medvedev family. The year before last, she gave birth to kittens, for which a huge queue immediately lined up.

We cannot know for sure which bills Dorofei put his paw on, but the story with the translation of the clock is definitely his merit.

2. Sailor cat

The cat Matroska became a star in December 2014, after she managed to sneak into the window of the Fish Island store at Vladivostok airport and eat delicacies worth 63 thousand rubles.

The popularity of the robbery video and the intervention of the Admiral hockey club, of which she became the mascot, saved her from reprisals by the store administration. Matroski's act was justified by Gennady Onishchenko himself, the former head of Rospotrebnadzor. He stated that cats "have an instinct to eat protein."

Since then, Matroski's popularity has only been gaining momentum, the cat even got herself Instagram.

Yuri Kuklachev offered Matroska a role in her performance, but she preferred filming with Andrei Malakhov on Channel One.

The success of the Admiral hockey club now depends on Matroski's cat!

3. Cat Martha

Yes, the cat Martha immodestly ranks third in the ranking. I wanted to put it first, but the rating is objective.

Marta the cat is one of the most recognizable and popular cats in Russia. She has millions of readers. Marta is so famous that she was even found in the center of huge Moscow after she was lost.

Thanks to Martha, her children, Omsk and Ufa, also became famous on the Internet. The cities with the same name with a population of one million should be grateful to the kittens for the increased interest in them. Among other things, these kittens have become the most expensive yard kittens in Russia and, probably, in the world. Both were sold for 500,000 rubles.

Martha the Cat influences the most popular blog in Russia. Not a single post comes out without her approval.

4. Cat Masha

The cat Masha from Obninsk also made headlines in Western newspapers, but for a completely different reason: she instinctively performed a heroic deed and saved a child from death, who was thrown right into the box where she lived. The cat kept him warm for several hours and called for help, meowing loudly. The child did not suffer as a result, and the cat Masha was loved all over the world.

5. Hermitage cats

Cats have been serving in the Hermitage since the days when it was still the main imperial palace in Russia, and not a museum. The status of "guards of art galleries" came to them thanks to Catherine II. The Empress did not begin to evict them from the palace, even though she herself did not like cats. Now cats still guard the museum basements from rats and mice.

The feline squad consists of 50 animals, the rest of the Hermitage is giving into good hands. Museum director Mikhail Piotrovsky believes that "cats are a legend of the Hermitage life and an integral part of it."

6. Polite cats

Two cats immediately became the heroes of photographs with "polite" people in Crimea. One of them spawned a meme, on the basis of which souvenirs are now even produced.

The cat appeared on the chevrons of the militia:

The second cat was in the center of an equally well-known frame.

It was used to create a monument to a "polite man" in the Amur Region.

The polite cat played a vital role in the information war.

7. Cat Zarathustra

The fat ginger cat Zarathustra became popular thanks to its owner Svetlana Petrova, who, within the framework of the FatCatArt project, came up with the idea of \u200b\u200busing his image in classical art plots.

Creation of a cat

Happy end of the world!

Zarathustra the cat helped to create a new style in art!

8. Pink kitten

Kitten Lena Lenina has a very difficult fate. First, he had to live with Bari Alibasov, to whom Lenin's TP herself gave the animal. But the producer's sphinx behaved aggressively towards the new tenant, and Alibasov gave the kitten to his friend. There he also did not take root and eventually returned to TP Lenina.

Last year, the writer decided to take him with her to a party where everyone was in pink, and she pre-painted the animal pink. A wave of criticism immediately fell upon her, and Lenina hastened to assure subscribers that the paint is absolutely safe.

A few months later, some media wrote who the kitten died of intoxication. Lenin's TP itself claims that he is alive. She posted photos of a pink and white cat on Instagram and says that she is the same kitten. It is unclear whether it is true or not, but for animal rights activists and ordinary animal lovers, Lenin's TP has become enemy number 1.

Thanks to the kitten, the whole world was once again convinced that some people are fools.

9. Nicky is a cat that sits like a human

Nicky the cat has become an Internet star because of its peculiarity: he loves to sit in human poses and stand "in a column" like a meerkat. On Instagram, he already has 123 thousand subscribers, and he was not deprived of attention by the British media.

This is the most popular Russian cat on Instagram.

10. Cat, rear view

Few suspected that Russian President Vladimir Putin loved not only dogs but cats as well. However, on September 1, 2013, the head of state visited a school in Kurgan, where he fully showed his love for cats and demonstrated excellent drawing techniques to children.

Now "Cat, rear view" is a significant media character in terms of information and, without a doubt, one of the most influential cats in Russia.

1. Chinese President Xi Jinping

This year, the Forbes list was topped by the leader of the world's most populous country, Xi Jinping. Returning to the presidency of the PRC in 2012, he soon began to reform and implement his program "China Dream" - the concept of the PRC's development until 2049.

In 2005, Merkel became the first female chancellor in German history. In 2017, she won the election again and remained in power for a fourth term. The media called this victory a failure; 364 out of 688 deputies voted for it in the Bundestag.

In late 2016, Gates and other billionaires announced the launch of Breakthrough Energy Ventures, a long-term, high-risk investment that can reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

8. Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad ibn Salman Al Saud

Despite the fact that the king of the country remains Salman ibn Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, in fact, Muhammad ibn Salman Al Saud is in charge. In November 2017, he spearheaded an anti-corruption campaign in which many of the richest Saudis were arrested and forced to return the underpaid to the treasury. Ten Saudi billionaires have been removed from Forbes' annual list of billionaires.

9.Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi

Modi is one of the most popular Indian politicians in recent years. The head of the second most populous country in the world meets regularly with world leaders and has become a key figure in the fight against climate change.

10. Google search engine co-founder Larry Page, USA

Larry Page founded Google in 1998 with Stanford graduate student Sergey Brin. He remained the CEO of the company until 2001, then took up product development and returned to the CEO position in 2011. Today, he focuses on leading Google parent Alphabet, Calico, an independent biotech research company founded in 2013, and many other projects.

Culture

Who is the most influential and most significant person in history?

Researchers have created algorithm, which ranks historical figures according to Wikipedia importance, article length, readability, achievement, and prominence.

The program was developed by a professor of computer science Stephen Skiena (Steven Skiena) and Google Software Engineer By Charles B. Ward (Charles B. Ward), who wrote Who Matters? (Who's Bigger: Where Historical Figures Really Rank).

Of course, their conclusions are not without contradiction... The authors relied on the results of the English-language version of Wikipedia, so the list rather highlights the most important historical figures in Western history.

The planet Earth is home to about seven and a half billion people. Despite this, a small percentage of all residents can boast that they are famous all over the planet. The activity of this privileged group determines all events and everything that happens in the world.

10 Mark Zuckerberg

The person who opens the list of the most influential people in the world, at the same time the youngest representative, is the founder of the social network Facebook - Mark Zuckerberg. Now Mark is 32 years old, almost twice as old as all other applicants in this ranking. This year the young billionaire made a crazy career jump - he jumped from the end of the second ten of the Forbes rating to the first. His current fortune is over $ 50 billion. This is in view of the fact that the Zuckerberg spouses constantly donate funds to charity. Thus, Mark and his wife Priscilla Chan previously promised an investment of $ 3 billion for a good cause - the fight and complete eradication of all diseases on the planet by the end of the 21st century.

9 Narendra Modi

The ninth place was taken by Narendra Modi - Prime Minister of India. And the popularity of the politician is growing every year, especially among Indians. At the same time, the attitude of citizens to politics has not changed, even after the difficult and unexpected monetary reform, which was organized in connection with the course to combat corruption. The Prime Minister issued a decree last fall canceling the highest denomination of Indian national currency notes.

8 Larry Page

The next place on the list is taken by Larry Page - this gentleman is one of the developers of the most popular search engine Google. A year ago, the company went through a reorganization process. At the moment, Google is a subsidiary of Alphabet corporation, and Larry Page is the chairman of the board.

7 Billy Gates

A higher position in this top is taken by a much more promoted and popular character in the world media - Billy Gates. This is a man whose fortune reaches more than $ 80 billion, in other words, "chickens do not peck money." Billy's very symbolic idea is to build a real chicken coop in one of the New York skyscrapers. A logical question may arise - "why"? The fact is that the billionaire is very fond of chickens in any form, he believes that thanks to such poultry, many peoples of Africa will be able to get rid of poverty.

6 Janet Yellen

Janet Yellen was almost in the middle of the list. He is the chief economist of the United States and also the head of the Federal Reserve System of America. Janet closely monitors the work of all banking and financial institutions. It is also curious that Mrs. Yellen enjoys immense popularity among Americans. And they love and respect her for her simplicity, intelligence, openness, as well as for her ability to clearly and clearly express her thoughts.

5 Pope Francis

In the fifth place in the ranking of the most influential people on a global scale is the only representative of the sphere of religion - the current head of the Vatican. And this is the most mature representative of the rating. Last year Pope Francis turned 80! However, in spite of a fairly solid age, the pontiff radiates strength, vital energy, which is more than enough to inspire and inspire his many parishioners to do good and good deeds, as well as to lead a righteous life.

4 Xi Jinping

The fourth place was taken by Xi Jinping, President of the PRC. In 2012, immediately after his election as head of state, the politician embarked on reforms aimed at a tough and uncompromising fight against corruption. He enjoys extraordinary popularity among his people. And first of all, this is due to the openness of the politician. For example, there was a case when the press published a report about an ordinary working day in the life of Xi Jinping. Nothing like this has ever happened in China before!

3 Angela Merkel

Absolutely unexpectedly, the top three are opened by Angela Merkel, the German Chancellor. For all its ambiguity, this is a very prominent figure in the modern political arena. Despite the significant disappointment of German citizens, according to Forbes, Merkel is the last liberal politician who can give a tough rebuff to the progressive influence of the Russian Federation in the West. Last 2017, the German chancellor faced a huge number of problems: they had to rake the results of Brexit and the growing unrest in the European Union, to solve the situation with the crowds of migrants that flooded into Germany. Parliamentary elections are scheduled for 2019, the result of which will make it clear whether the Germans still show confidence in Angela's decisions, as well as in the party she heads.

2 Donald Trump

The deserved second place was taken by the 45th President of the United States - Donald Trump. This is the first time a billionaire has become president of an overseas superpower. According to research findings, the middle and upper class in America, who value liberalism so much, feel a little awkward for their country's leader. Most of the claims concern not Trump himself, but his family - his wife and children. However, he himself often appears at the epicenter of discussions!

1 Vladimir Putin

Probably no one is surprised that the Forbes list of the top 10 most influential people in the world in 2019, the most influential person on the planet in 2019, the President of the Russian Federation is Vladimir Putin. If you believe the rumors, the head of Russia is capable of anything: he can influence the course of hostilities in Syria and organize a "sabotage" in the United States! No wonder they say that Donald Trump is a Kremlin secret agent. And then suddenly information comes out that on the "order" of Vladimir Putin, Russian hackers have invaded the process of electing a new head of the White House ... Naturally, both Putin and Trump completely deny any political intrigue against each other, but who will believe them!

Forbes on Wednesday unveiled a new ranking of the world's most influential people. The list includes 72 political, economic, business and public figures - one per 100 million inhabitants of the planet. Russian President Vladimir Putin topped the rating. The 61-year-old politician removed Barack Obama's American counterpart from the first line. Chinese President Xi Jinping closed the top three. Read more about the Forbes World's Most Influential People below.

The rating is based on the subjective choice of the American editorial staff of the magazine. The criteria of influence are such indicators as the number of population influenced by the decisions of the rating participant, the financial flows that the rating participant manages as an administrator, manager or owner, and the activity with which the rating participant exercises his power.

1. Vladimir Putin

Who: the president of Russia
influence: Russia
Industry: politics
Age: 61

The Russian leader's ascent to the top of the Forbes influencer rating was facilitated both by the process of “tightening the screws” within the country and by his successes in the diplomatic arena.

In particular, Putin proposed a compromise solution to the Syrian problem that would suit all parties and relieved tension in the conflict, which almost escalated into a full-scale war. In addition, the Russian president granted political asylum to ex-CIA officer Edward Snowden, whose high-profile revelations became not only a headache for the American special services, but also a problem for other states, to whose diplomats the fugitive programmer turned for support.

The world's largest nuclear arsenal, a voice in the UN Security Council and record hydrocarbon deposits remain under Putin's control. The leader of the rating has at least another five years of absolute power in reserve, and can potentially rule Russia until 2024.

2. Barack Obama

Who: US President
influence: USA
Industry: politics
Age: 52

The American leader lost the first line of the rating to his Russian counterpart amid numerous squabbles in US domestic politics.

Obama was never able to convince Congress of the need to implement health insurance reform according to his plan, which ultimately led the country to a dead end: in early October, US government agencies had to close for 16 days due to the inability of politicians to find consensus on the budget and the public debt ceiling. An equally sensitive blow to Obama's reputation was the revelations of Edward Snowden, which put the head of state in the position of an eternally justifying person.

And yet, even with a second presidential term and the attendant suspicion of becoming a lame duck, Obama remains the leader of the world's most powerful political, economic and military power.

3. Xi Jinping

Who: President of the PRC
influence: PRC
Industry: politics
Age: 60

The new Chinese leader in 2012 officially took the helm of the second most influential world power with a population of 1.3 billion people, which is almost 20% of the world's population. Under Xi, China remains the largest holder of American external debt - the Celestial Empire owns US Treasury receipts for $ 1.3 billion. The rapid growth of the economy continues: over 10 years, the number of official billionaires in China has increased from zero to 122, and GDP reached $ 8.2 trillion. In addition to the post of chairman of the PRC, Xi is the secretary general of the Communist Party and the head of the country's military forces.

4. Pope Francis

Who: Pope
influences: Roman Catholic Church
Industry: religion
Age: 76

Francis succeeded Benedict XVI as head of the Roman Church in March 2013. Its mission is to breathe new energy into the institution of 1.2 billion people around the world.

The first Jesuit pope and the first native Latin American pope have already made a number of reform statements, from a call for gender equality to a reduction in the degree of critical rhetoric against supporters of abortion, gay marriage and contraception. Francis, or Jorge Mario Bergoglio in the world, uses social media, preaches on Twitter and even takes “selfies” - self-portraits for social networks in accordance with the spirit of the times.

He comes from a large family of Italian immigrants who settled in Buenos Aires. Dad is known as an avid fan of the San Lorenzo de Almagro football club.

5. Angela Merkel

Who: Chancellor of Germany
influences: Germany
Industry: politics
Age: 59

The most powerful woman in the world remains a key figure in solving the political and economic problems of the European Union.

Merkel's adherence to a hard line of austerity and the preservation of the euro as a single currency has helped the EU to survive as an integration entity, despite the crisis in the southern economies of the Old World and insistent calls for a reverse disintegration from the North.

Recently, the "iron chancellor" was re-elected to the post, which she has been holding since 2005 without any visible problems. In the Forbes ranking of the most influential women in the world, Merkel has climbed to the top 8 times over the past 10 years.

6. Bill Gates

Who: Co-Chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
Influences: Microsoft, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation
Industry: business, philanthropy
Age: 58

With a fortune of $ 72 billion, Gates recently regained his status as the richest person in the world according to Forbes. At the same time, the founder of Microsoft himself spends most of his time on the work of a charitable foundation, which he manages with his wife Melinda.

As a philanthropist, he has already spent $ 28 billion. Gates's latest major philanthropic initiative is the April $ 335 million polio program, joined by six more billionaires with $ 100 million in contributions, including Mexican tycoon Carlos Slim and New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg.

Microsoft's shares have been on the rise since late August, when the software giant announced the resignation of Steve Ballmer as CEO. Gates remains chairman of the board of directors of the company he co-founded with Paul Allen in 1975.

Together with Warren Buffett, Gates continues to recruit members for the Giving Pledge, in which billionaires make a public pledge to donate at least 50% of their fortune to charities.

7. Ben Bernanke

Who: Fed Chairman
Influence: Fed
Industry: economics
Age: 59
