Two parts are twisted and fastened with self-tapping screws, and the bearing is inserted into the center.

The upper and lower parts of the table are connected using plastic tubes, if desired, metal tubes can be used.

They must fit very precisely into the bearing. The most optimal length tubes - 15 centimeters. The upper part of the model is made of metal. Its size plays a very important role, so it is best to make a diameter of 30–40 centimeters.

There is such a thing as a turntable. Some use it for presentations, any souvenirs. Confectioners are used to rotate the cake during the manufacture of the latter. I decided to make a turntable with my own hands to show my homemade products, such as in "3D". The motor from the microwave oven was taken as the basis. Makes almost 3 revolutions per minute. It is powered by a 220V household network.

For the design of the table we need:
- a circle of plywood;
- plywood rectangle;
- switch;
- aluminum corner, for mounting the switch;
- network cord;
- screws 10 pieces;
- Microwave motor.

The first step in our base is making a cut under the motor. It turned out somehow crooked, but that’s not the point, it will be closed by the table itself. Base dimensions 250mm*100mm, plywood thickness 18mm.

We drill a hole with a diameter of 6 mm in the pancake of the table, the axis of the motor is 6.5 mm. The hole is not through, but exactly the length of the axis of the motor (about 10 mm). Trying on. Comes in tight. If you drill the same diameter as the axis of the motor, then the table pancake will hang out. It will have to be glued, and this is additional time for making homemade products.

Be sure to look at the motor. They are not 220V. I got 21V. In the latter case, a transformer is needed, it can be powered from the control board of the same furnace.

Since I have plywood BU, I decided to paint the pancake and the base of the table from a spray can. Matte black paint was available. Everything dried quickly. Along the way, I drilled a hole for threading wires.

After the paint has dried, we fasten the motor to its permanent place. I took the screws from an old printer. Very successful because of the wide hat.

We pass the wires into the hole from the side of the bottom of the structure. We unsolder the switch, I have a toggle switch TP 1-2. We attach the corner to the base. We fasten the toggle switch to the corner. If there is no corner like mine and another switch, then you can make something for your needs.

So that the design does not go around the table, I decided to install rubber legs. I used medicine caps as legs. In general, it is very convenient to use such legs in the manufacture of cases, homemade products. Rubber is very flexible. I screwed them onto all the same screws from the printer.

Pancake table in my case 230 mm. The thickness is the same 18 mm as at the base. Fits perfectly for my needs. This is the table I got. I repeat, it makes almost 3 revolutions per minute.

The manufacturing process of the rotating table was very long, that is, intermittently, there were not enough details. And the biggest problem was with the gears. That is, I picked up different gears, set it up for a long time, I even thought of abandoning the idea of ​​​​making this turntable with the existing gears. But now that the product is ready, you can assemble and show you how it looks and works. This is the main part, it is made of aluminum, everything is milled here.

Let's start the assembly. Here in the middle there is a place for bearings. Ball bearings will be used. Took it apart and cleaned everything very well. If you gently press, then everything is inserted by hand. One bearing needs to be slightly lubricated with panasonic oil. We insert the second bearing, climbed into the mine. It also needs a little lubrication. These bearings are needed so that the minitable can rotate. A thrust bearing is inserted from above. This is the denser part. And this is a part. Which will rotate, it has a slightly smaller diameter. Now if you put a table here, it will rotate.

Now let's try to assemble the mechanism. The brass pulley was also made on a lathe and the bearing was pressed here, it sticks out a little, because the design is different, but it does not fit here. Either here it was necessary to make a larger pulley, which would increase the revolutions of the rotation table, or it is necessary to redo it. Since I did it gradually, I had to adjust and redo it all the time.

This pulley is made under the belts and is attached to the hole. An additional washer is inserted here and you can tighten it. Having previously lubricated, we fasten the drive gear.

The washer is also brass and is put in place. To ensure the transition from belts to gears, an adapter pulley is used. With it, rotation will be transmitted to this gear.
This table is placed at the very last moment, after the electric motor is installed. It is already assembled together with the power supply circuit. There is a switch here, you can hear the engine running.

Let's collect the body parts. Although we need the engine to understand exactly where the switch should be, since it is already soldered. You need to know this very precisely.

It often happens that the thrust bearing flies out and in the future we fix it thoroughly.

Flip the table back. A decorative ring is installed on top and pressed with screws. I cut a thread specifically for the ring.
This system is assembled, for now you can turn the table over and already thoroughly mount the engine, attach the electrician. The engine is tightly inserted, it will be possible to adjust the height.

Electrician

The charger is glued with double tape. First you need to degrease the surface, otherwise the adhesive tape simply will not stick. The charging board can be immediately attached to the case. Now we fix the battery in the same way. Two strips of adhesive tape is enough for him to hold on tight and not fall off over time. When heated, it does not disappear, it keeps well. It remains the case for small - to fix the switch.

Electricity assembled. We turn on the switch - the motor rotates. The engine must be set in height. There is one nuance. We need to remove this ring now, because we won’t be able to put the belt in here. You need to put it well so that there are no distortions. And the second belt is put on. Also back ring. The mechanism is ready. If we turn on the lever, everything here rotates.

It remains to set the table. To do this, insert the bearing and table back. This is not the final version yet. From above, you can swap decorative tables. Screwed on at the bottom to keep it from falling out. Similar countertops will be used on top, or as they are called interchangeable tables. Built a revolving table. Suitable for decorating cakes and for modeling (including dolls - heads). She blinded him, as they say, from what was. But it spins excellently (so far without a cake), at least play in the Field of Miracles or open a casino! :)

What I needed:

1) a hot stand (a round rug with a ball pattern - bought at a sale in the Metro store for 3 UAH), diameter 38 cm;

2) a piece of fiberboard (from it we cut a circle with a diameter of 1 cm less than a hot stand -37 cm);

3) a wheel for furniture on bearings and fastened with a screw and a nut (to make it easier to disassemble) - I bought it on the market for 12 UAH;

4) 4 screws, 4 nuts and 4 washers , so the hat should be flat);

5) 4 self-tapping screws 5-6 cm long;

7) drill and drill for self-tapping screws and drill large diameter to deepen the hole for recessing the screw head;

8) a block of wood about 60 cm long (I don’t know the exact size, it’s better to choose a specific wheel so that it is a little wider than the distance between the wings of the wheel base (to fit tightly)

9) sandpaper in order to clean the edges of fiberboard;

10) screw and wing nut, size 6, suitable length (cm 5-6);

11) glue "Dragon"

First of all, you need to cut a circle of the desired diameter from the fiberboard. Make 4 holes from the center (attaching the base of the wheel). The edges of the fiberboard need to be sanded and glued with tape.

Then we put the base of the wheel on a piece of timber (we grind it a little so that it fits perfectly), mark and drill a hole for the mount.

We attach the base of the wheel to our countertop.

To wooden block we attach additional parts from a bar (so that the table is stable), fasten it to self-tapping screws.

We connect the upper part to the base and fasten it.

On the countertop we apply spiral glue "Dragon" from the edges to the center. We apply our rug - a hot stand and separate it again, wait a couple of minutes for the glue to thicken and again apply it to the countertop. Turn the table upside down and, gently pressing, iron the tabletop with your hand. reverse side so that the glue sticks well.

Everything is ready!

The do-it-yourself table is equipped with plastic tubes. The tube should connect the upper and lower parts. Consider this point when you make a drawing for the turntable. In this case, the tube must fit exactly into the bearing. The ideal length is 15 cm. Such a tube will not be too short or long, so you do not have to bend down to decorate the product.

The top is made of metal. In order for it to spin, pay special attention to its diameter. On average, the diameter of a metal circle should range from 30 to 40 cm. If you have the opportunity to weld the elements, it will only be wonderful. For those who are deprived of such an opportunity, invented cold welding which looks like plasticine.
