This girl's name is Leila, she is very cute and shy, a little self-contained girl. She knows very little about the world outside, because from childhood she was deprived of her freedom by force. (due to some circumstances, you will find out more in the film.)

Before our eyes, Nick gets a job as a cleaner in a psychiatric hospital. And while he is talking on the phone, one of the patients drinks a cleaning agent from an unattended bottle. And the girl, also mentally unhealthy, starts a fight with him. Our hero, of course, is fired on the first day of work. And he, already leaving the clinic, at the last second rescues the girl Laila (Johann Vokalek) from suicide, which leads to unforeseen consequences. Layla escapes from the hospital and follows Nick. In a nightdress and barefoot. All attempts by Mr. Keller to get rid of Laila end in failure. The girl firmly decided to stay with him forever. And the guy can’t just take her and put her out the door - Laila starts yelling and convulsing, when someone touches her. In general, the main character of the picture is not trained in life, she does not know how to ride the bus, how to get eggs, she is innocent, there is no calculation in her actions that runs the woman.

And here’s an unusual couple - Nick, for the first time in his life forced to bear responsibility for someone, and Laila, who was kept locked up for 18 years by her mother, and when she died, the girl, naturally, went to a psychiatric hospital - goes on a journey that brings them closer and forever change their lives.
