Lantern manufacturing process:

Step one. Install the LED on the cooler
LED We will use rather powerful, which means that it will be necessary to get warmth. For these purposes, we will need a small aluminum radiator.

We plan places, drill holes and cut the thread under the screws. Next, we screw the LED to the radiator. We definitely apply to the radiator the thermal paste, otherwise the heat transfer will be low and the LED will overheat.




























Next, we install the reflector, the author fastens it with epoxy glue. It is impossible to use hot glue here, since everything heats up. Then you can install a lens. For fastening the lens, the author used a thin stainless wire. Just tying the lens bracket to the radiator using it. That's all, now simply install the fan on the other side of the radiator. The fan is connected to the LED in parallel so that it turns on immediately when the flashlight is turned on. Connections are soldered for reliable contact and insulating the heat shrink.

Step second. Making the case
As a body, we will need a piece of sewage pipe from PVC, it will contain two batteries for 4000 mAh each. As for the radiator with the LED, it will be installed inside the cone-shaped part. Since the filling does not completely fit into it, the author increased the length of the detail slightly. He cut off a piece from another cone-shaped part and glued it with superclaim. We also need a pipe stub, there will be a connector for the charger.

Step fourth. Fresh filling
The radiator with the LED installed will be fixed in the housing. For these purposes, we will need a drill and a short diameter drill. Drill holes and screw all this business with cogs. Principle of operation of the device
