On November 15, 2018, the results of the International contest of children's creativity “The Beauty of God’s World” were summed up. The competition was attended by more than three thousand children's works from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries.

This year, especially high-quality organization and holding of the regional stage of the competition was noted in the St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Makhachkala, Rossoshanskaya, Shchigrovskaya dioceses.

The jury was led by the chairman. This year, the jury was attended by an independent observer - teacher at the Mtsensk Children's Art School Yevgenia Savchuk.

The best works will take part in exhibitions that are traditionally held as part of the International Christmas Educational Readings. “In 2018, thanks to the support of the“ Presidential Grants Fund ”, together with Rossotrudnichestvo and the Generation ANO, we were able to present the creative work of the winners and participants of the competition in Armenia, Poland, Germany, Bulgaria and Italy. The purpose of this competition It is the spiritual, moral and patriotic education of the younger generation, introducing young people to the Orthodox culture, as well as identifying new talents and creating an environment for creative communication between children and youth of Russia and foreign countries.

Competition Nominations.

1. "BASIC TOPIC". The list of topics in the nomination: Baptism of Russia (dedicated to the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia); Princes of Kievan Rus; Saints of the X-XI centuries; Bible plots; The spiritual world and the earthly world; Christ and the Church; Favorite temple; The beauty of native nature; My house, my village, my city; My family, my friends.

2. "ORTHODOX ICON". The nomination is dedicated to the 1030th anniversary of the Baptism of Russia. Only students of icon painting schools or workshops who have reached the age of 13-17 years can participate in this nomination. The work must be done in accordance with the canons of Orthodox icon painting.

3. "PAINTING ON PORCELAIN." The nomination involves the participation of children 13-17 years old, mainly students of art secondary and secondary special educational institutions. The work is done on paper, the sketch of painting the plates is made in the form of a circle with a radius of 19 cm. The list of topics in the nomination: Monasteries of Moscow, Lost Moscow, Moscow Antiquities, Unknown Architecture of Moscow, Moscow during the Rurikovich, Moscow during the Romanovs, White Stone Kremlin, Moscow Temples, Zamoskvorechye, Moscow saints.

Worksent to the Competition must comply with the following requirements:

Works are carried out in graphic (pencil) or pictorial (watercolor gouache, pastel, oil, ink) techniques;

The size of the work is not less than 30x40 cm and not more than 50x70 cm;

Works have margins not less than 0.5 cm wide;

Works are not executed by a passe-partout or frames;

On the reverse side of the work are indicated: last name, first name, age of the author, telephone number for communication with the parents or official representatives of the author (indicating the country and settlement code), the name of the picture, as well as the last name, first name of the teacher, full name of the educational institution, his address;

The work must be completed in the year in which the Competition is held.

COMPETITION TERMS

Students of educational (secondary), secondary special educational institutions, institutions of additional education, Sunday schools and parish educational groups and other children's institutions of Russia and foreign countries can take part in the competition. All rights to the works sent to the Competition belong to the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Russian Orthodox Church. Topics, nominations of the Competition and the number of prizes in each nomination are approved by the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Russian Orthodox Church annually and published on its official website www.otdelro.ru until September 14 of this year. WORKS ARE NOT REVIEWED AND DO NOT RETURN.

The works sent to the Competition must meet the following requirements: the works are performed in graphic (pencil) or pictorial (watercolor, gouache, pastel, oil, ink) techniques; the size of the work is at least 30x40 cm. and at least 50x70 cm .; works have margins of at least 0.5 cm .; works are not executed by a mat or a frame;

How to take part in the international contest of children's creativity "BEAUTY OF GOD'S WORLD" (diocesan tour).

For convenience, the regional stage of the Competition is divided into three stages:

conducting the stage of the Competition at the level of the educational institution (OU) and Sunday schools of the municipal district (deanery): each educational institution / Sunday school wishing to participate in the Competition determines the person responsible for conducting the stage of the Competition in the OU and establishes a school jury of this stage in its own way discretion. In the period from September 1 to October 10, 2018, the educational institution / Sunday school organizes an exhibition of works at which the jury determines the winners in three age categories based on: I place - 1 work; II place - 2 works; III place - 3 works.

The educational institution / Sunday school independently awards the winners of this stage with diplomas / certificates and letters of thanks. Upon completion of the work, the winners (no more than 18) are transferred to the organizing committee of the municipal stage of the competition for participation in the selection exhibition. The coordinators of the municipal stage are the deaneries of the church districts, assistants to the dean of the religious education and catechesis and the representative of the municipal services (education department or department of culture of the district). Work can also be transferred immediately to the diocesan administration at the address: Glazov, Svobody square 10 A, - if the municipal stage is not carried out in areas and deaneries.
The stage of the Competition in the district center of the municipal region of the Deanery involves the following events: Exhibition of works by the winners of the stage of the Competition at the level of the public school / Sunday school, the result of which should be the selection of the best works of the participants of the exhibition for direction to the diocesan stage of the competition in Glazov. The distribution of prizes at this stage coincides with the previous one: I place - one winner; II place - two winners; III place - three winners. The exhibition is organized by the deanery together with the municipal services (education department or culture department). The Chairman of the Competition Commission is the Dean. Awarding of the winners of this stage is carried out by the Dean, together with the municipal services. Upon completion of this phase deaneries must be provided with the work of the winners in the OROiK of the Glazov Diocese, accompanying them with all the necessary documents (Consent to transfer rights to work, Copy of birth certificate, etc.). Dates of this stage: from October 10 to October 20, 2018.
The stage of the Glazov Competition is held by the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Glazov Diocese among the works of participants who won prizes in the deaneries of the Glazov Diocese. The selected works will be sent to Moscow to participate in the federal stage of the BEAUTY OF GOD'S BEAUTY OF THE WORLD. The works of the winners of the diocesan stage of the competition will be published on the diocese website. Awarding of the winners of the diocesan stage of the Competition will be held at a solemn event (where participants will be invited together with parents and teachers) after the exhibition of these works in the Transfiguration Cathedral in Glazov on November 01, 2018.
