Stainless steel tank. Tanks made of stainless steel (stainless steel) High pressure tanks made of food-grade stainless steel

Stainless steel containers for storing and fermenting food liquids, specially made and designed for small production and home use. Among our tanks, everyone will find the one they need, if there is no standardized product on our website that meets your needs, we can make any container for you at our Letina inox factory in Croatia.

The barrels we produce are an example of high quality European production, made of excellent stainless steel Thyssen-Krupp. In our assortment there are almost all variations of tanks for the production of wine and drinks, stainless steel cans for making homemade mash or homemade wine from berries harvested in our own backyard, they are also called milk cans or milk flasks, but the essence of this does not change in them you can store whatever you want. The stainless steel can is a good alternative to the aluminum can. Special containers for storing and fermenting wine, with a floating lid or simply with a sealed hatch, which many call for a simple "stainless steel barrel".

We also paid attention to brewers, on our website you can find small tanks for brewing beer (CCT) with a conical bottom, fermentation tanks, and kvass producers can discover containers with a floating lid, which are the ideal solution for the production of kvass.

Stainless steel containers

We always have in stock a variety of tanks made of AISI 304 for storing food liquids and for transporting them, as well as special containers with a floating lid for fermenting wine with the possibility of subsequent storage. Let's figure it out in order:

Stainless steel barrel steel with lid From 100 to 500 liters. This type of tank comes without legs, has one stainless steel faucet, and a top dust cover. This is the simplest stainless steel barrel that we have presented, but along with its simplicity, it is made in accordance with all food standards and is ideal for macerating wine, storing wine, or any other alcoholic products, can be used as a water tank, or as a tank for holy water for baptism, which is actually what some churches do when they buy such bottled vessels from us. An optional full floating cover can be added to it. But all the same, for fermentation and storage of wines, it is best to use containers on legs, with a sample of selected taps and a normal pneumatic cover, which includes: a chamber, a pump, clamps and connecting hoses. The sampling tap allows you to drain clean wine from half of the level, and filter only the cloudy residue.

Stainless steel containers with floating lid. from 60 liters. These types of containers are widely used for the production of wine, it can be stored and fermented in it, its equipment allows you to get high-quality drinks at home, obtained as a result of fermentation of grapes, or in the production of mash. The indisputable convenience of the floating lid lies in the fact that the fermentation tank can be filled to any volume and there is practically no oxygen left in the tank, which does not favorably affect the fermentation products. Those. for example, in a barrel of 620 liters, you can safely store 100 liters and be sure that the wine will not spoil. Just like the previous stainless steel barrel, this one can be used for any food liquids.

Also, a stainless steel container with a floating lid can also come with a cooling / heating jacket to control the temperature of the product in the tank and maintain the set temperature. They are widely used in winemaking, the production of kvass, home brew or home brewing.

The storage tanks are simple with a sealed hatch. from 100 to 620 liters. These tanks are made of stainless steel with legs, in the upper part there is a sealed hatch with a diameter of 200 mm. In the middle part of each barrel there is a stainless steel tap for sampling (3/8), in the lower part there is a tap for complete drainage (1/2), on tanks from 320 liters, the bottom goes with a slope to the third tap (3/4) to completely empty the tank. In barrels of this type, fermentation can be carried out under low pressure up to 0.5 atmospheres., which will be convenient for the production of kvass or cider.

Tanks from stainless steel CCT, for the production of beer. Volume from 60 liters. This type of stainless steel containers are designed for fermentation and storage of beer under pressure. There is a large assortment of these tanks, CCTs can be either with or without a cooling jacket, for different pressures from 0.5 bar to 3 bar. There are tanks with side and top hatches of different diameters. These small fermentation tanks up to 630 liters are the ideal solution for minibreweries and restaurant-style breweries. And also for the production of beer at home, in this case, I mean capacities up to 120 liters, and for the production of beer that is in many ways superior in quality to that which is offered to us by famous brands.

Fermentation tank, this expression can be understood as any container in which a fermented product can be obtained. The whole point of the issue lies in the convenience and manufacturability of the process, but the main goal can be achieved in any stainless steel container. For fermentation of wine, barrels with pneumatic lids are ideal, in which you can store and use as a fermentation vessel. In home brewing, a barrel with a pneumatic lid can be used as a container for home brew, I mean small volumes from 100 to 200 liters. For the production of kvass using traditional technologies, barrels with an open top, and easy access to the inside of the tank, this is not a replaceable thing. The use of CCT (beer fermentation tank) in the production of beer, at this stage of development of this technology is simply not appreciated, it is possible to store and ferment beer in them, and some use them in the design of establishments bypassing bottling into a keg and filling mugs directly from the container installed in the bar and connected to the filling taps. A container for mash can be considered stainless steel cans, presented in our wide range.

CCT produces the most consumed beer in the world at the moment, the so-called "Lager", which is brewed with bottom fermentation and further fermented at low temperatures. For the first week, the wort ferments while maintaining a certain temperature in order to prevent oxidative processes, then the settled yeast is separated, and the CCT is grooved so that further fermentation takes place under the pressure of carbon dioxide released inside the tank during the after-fermentation process. Our fermentation tanks are equipped with a breathing valve that maintains atmospheric pressure during primary fermentation, and a dowel for the holding process, including it is easy to control the temperature in them with cooling jackets.

Making moonshine and alcohol for personal use
absolutely legal!

After the end of the existence of the USSR, the new government stopped the fight against moonshine. Criminal liability and fines were abolished, and an article banning the production of alcohol-containing products at home was removed from the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. To this day, there is not a single law prohibiting us from engaging in our favorite hobby - making alcohol at home. This is evidenced by the Federal Law of July 8, 1999 No. 143-FZ "On the administrative responsibility of legal entities (organizations) and individual entrepreneurs for offenses in the production and circulation of ethyl alcohol, alcoholic and alcohol-containing products" (Collected Legislation of the Russian Federation, 1999, No. 28 , art. 3476).

Excerpt from the Federal Law of the Russian Federation:

"This Federal Law does not apply to the activities of citizens (individuals) who are not producing products containing ethyl alcohol, not for the purpose of marketing."

Home brewing in other countries:

In Kazakhstan in accordance with the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Administrative Offenses of January 30, 2001 N 155, the following liability is provided. So, according to article 335 "Manufacture and sale of home-made alcoholic beverages", the illegal manufacture for the sale of moonshine, chacha, mulberry vodka, home brew and other alcoholic beverages, as well as the sale of these alcoholic beverages, entails a fine in the amount of thirty monthly calculation indices with the confiscation of alcoholic beverages , devices, raw materials and equipment for their manufacture, as well as money and other valuables received from their sale. However, the law does not prohibit the preparation of alcohol for personal use.

In Ukraine and Belarus things are different. Articles No. 176 and No. 177 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of Ukraine provide for the imposition of fines in the amount of three to ten tax-free minimum wages for the manufacture and storage of moonshine without the purpose of sale, for storage without the purpose of selling devices * for its production.

Article 12.43 repeats this information practically word for word. "Making or purchasing strong alcoholic beverages (moonshine), semi-finished products for their manufacture (mash), storage of apparatus for their manufacture" in the Code of the Republic of Belarus on Administrative Offenses. Clause No. 1 informs: "The production of strong alcoholic beverages (moonshine) by individuals, semi-finished products for their production (mash), as well as the storage of devices * used for their manufacture, - entail a warning or a fine of up to five basic units with the confiscation of the specified drinks, semi-finished products and apparatus ".

* It is still possible to purchase moonshine stills for home use, since their second purpose is to distill water and obtain components for natural cosmetics and perfumery.

Stainless steel containers are considered universal food containers. They have high strength and durability, are resistant to mechanical and physical stress, do not corrode, and can easily withstand frequent washing. Products stored in such containers do not acquire foreign odors, their taste does not change, and no sediment is formed. The stainless container keeps the temperature of the contents well.

The products are manufactured by the Italian plant "Toscana Inox", the main supplier of these products in the European Union. All the necessary certificates of compliance with food safety standards are available. Each buyer is provided with professional advice before and after the purchase.

Range of stainless containers

In our store there is a huge selection of stainless steel containers: cans, flasks, tanks, buckets, ordinary barrels, with a pneumatic cover, with a thermostat.

Cans - food containers made of stainless steel from 10 to 100 liters, are used to move and store any liquids and products. For example, alcoholic beverages, water, milk, juice, pickles, cereals. The form of production without seams gives the container a solid appearance, reliability, convenience in maintaining cleanliness. For the preparation of alcoholic beverages, we offer cans with tena. It is possible to install a water seal.

The stainless steel barrel is equipped with a drain valve, a pneumatic cover and a thermostat. Such a complete set makes the container airtight and will allow you to start making mash immediately.

A bucket with a lid is an important attribute in every household. The ring on the lid simplifies the opening / closing process, and the modernized wide grip handle allows you to comfortably carry such a container.

Inexpensive taps are available separately, complete with food-safe silicone gaskets.

The price depends on the size and volume of the items.

These stainless steel containers will last you 30 years. And perhaps 40. Or 50. There is no need to make legends about the durability of stainless steel. Its real properties are beyond praise.

Food containers made of stainless steel

You can store milk in our stainless steel tanks for a long time. Its smell will not change, no off-taste will appear, useful substances will not precipitate. Stainless steel keeps the temperature of the contents well - much better than plastic, for example.
Tanks made of this metal can withstand frequent flushing. You can use them as long as you like and, if necessary, clean them several times a day. That is why it is necessary to buy a stainless container for a farmer.
There is also disinfection - in the food industry, it is inevitable. And here the unique properties of stainless steel are also very useful. It does not enter into a "close relationship" (that is, in chemical reactions) with the overwhelming number of alkalis and acids. Even with daily disinfection, it does not crack, peel or change color. Stainless steel food containers have a flat surface. This metal has no pores or cracks where dust or protozoan colonies can accumulate.

Stainless steel tank in detail

The construction of our tanks is one-piece. This is of prime importance when storing milk. The number of bacteria in it should be minimal. If the dairy equipment has a lot of collapsible parts that come into contact with milk, the number of protozoa will increase. This cannot be avoided even with the most careful processing.
What else makes life easier for the owners of such containers? First, there are dustproof covers. Thanks to them, a significant part of unwanted impurities from the air does not get inside the container. Secondly, many stainless steel tanks are equipped with hatches for ease of filling. And thirdly, our containers have taps. This is very important if you will not only store milk in tanks, but also pour it in portions.
If your funds are limited, you can purchase a regular stainless steel tank. Its simplicity and low price are its main advantages. The stainless steel tanks are securely closed and they also have filling taps. The very same properties of stainless steel from the low cost do not change.

Tanks, stainless steel tanks: victory over corrosion

In nature, such a substance as stainless steel has never existed. It was invented by people by combining two elements - iron and chromium. Iron itself is not invulnerable. It reacts with oxygen in the air, and rust appears on it after a few years. But if you add chromium to the iron, this process can be slowed down. The surface of the stainless steel is, as it were, "covered" with a film of chromium oxide. This film also serves as a kind of "partition" between iron and oxygen. By itself, it does not oxidize in air.
Stainless steel remains tough at both low and high temperatures. Thus, freshly boiled milk can be poured into food containers made of stainless steel, washed with boiling water, etc. The liquid will not harm the material, since the "stainless steel" can withstand temperatures much higher than 100 ° C.
