Original roofing and designer roofs: Press frukt. How to make a press for squeezing juice from fruits, berries and vegetables yourself or a homemade juicer with your own hands. Technologies and drawings of homemade presses and juicers with visual illustrations

A large apple harvest sometimes becomes a problem for the owners. Fruits cannot be stored for a long time, it is not always possible to sell or prepare them for feed for pets. The way out of the situation is homemade preparations in the form of jam and juices. It will be easier to prepare them if you use juicers and special homemade apple presses.

Juice presses are:

  • Mechanical,
  • Hydraulic,
  • Pneumatic,
  • Electrohydraulic.

Purchased models, regardless of type, cannot handle large amounts of fruit.

Therefore, most gardeners prefer to make a household apple press with their own hands.

Each type has its own pros and cons. Mechanical less productive, but the easiest to manufacture. The hydraulic ones have a more complex mechanism, but they are capable of producing high-quality fruit puree. A pneumatic device requires a compressor, this affects the price of the device. But it is able to process a large amount of fruit in a short time.

The most effective are electro-hydraulic models.

They work on a combination of electricity and hydraulics. Man's job is only to serve the fruit. The disadvantage of the device is the high cost of spare parts.

Most models provide pressure on the apple mass from above, but the combined version has its own differences:

  • The screw device presses the ground from top to bottom,
  • Hydraulic jack - bottom up.

To make a juice press, you need to provide the following points:

  • Juice container. You can use a tank or a large saucepan, and install a tap to drain at the bottom,
  • If a wooden barrel is used, then it must be made of parquet strips,
  • If the body of the washing machine is used, it must be clean and airtight, free of rust and mildew,
  • The body of the apparatus. The simplest option is a pyramid made of wooden lattices.

To ensure even squeezing of the juice, finely chopped fruits are placed in clean bags, or transferred with a soft cloth. If this is not done, the do-it-yourself juice press will leave wet cake and a lot of waste. You can cut apples using an ordinary knife or a special chopper. The device can be bought, but more often it is made independently and is built into the press apparatus.

Homemade screw press

A properly assembled press is able to squeeze out up to 70% of the juice from apples. Dry cake remains at the exit. The screw apparatus works by rotating large blades, fastened with nuts, or jacks. The hydraulic jack structure is more efficient and does not require much physical force. Before making a press, you need to prepare:

  • Stanin,
  • Building for storing raw materials,
  • Wooden lattices,
  • Piston for pressure,
  • Circle under the jack,
  • Working node,
  • Pallet or bowl.

For manufacturing, two metal pipes are taken, to which the profile is welded. Most often it is made in the form of a crossbar. A small hole is made in it, to which a threaded head is welded to install the screw. A clamp or a support structure is welded to the pipes. A handle for rotation is installed on top of the screw, and an emphasis on the bottom. It is a wooden or metal circle. The wooden body is made of boards with a thickness of about 5 mm, they are pulled together with self-tapping screws with an anti-corrosion coating. The distance between the ribs should not exceed 1 cm. The strips with ribs are bent in the form of a circle and fastened with bolts. A plastic bowl with a hole for juice drainage is used as a pallet.

Jack option

It is more convenient to use jacks for cars with a capacity of 2-3 thousand kg instead of a screw. A nut for fastening is no longer required here, and a homemade press from a jack turns out to be more powerful. The only difference in assembly is the sturdy frame that can withstand pressure. The jack is installed both from below and from above - it depends on the user's preferences.

When the apparatus is ready, apples are placed in the container, and a wooden circle is placed underneath. This will maintain the integrity of the structure under high pressure.

Average productivity - 1.75 liters of juice in 5 minutes.

How to make a hydraulic press

For manufacturing you will need:

  • Sanding machine,
  • Welding machine,
  • Capacity for 50-60 l,
  • Drill,
  • Metal pipes with a wall thickness of 0.3 cm,
  • Hydropress,
  • Sturdy oak yards.

How to make a hydraulic press: a hole is drilled from the bottom of the tank and a tap is installed to drain the juice. The container is inserted into a barrel assembled from boards or slats. The distance between them should not be less than 0.3 cm. It is recommended to fasten the barrel with galvanized steel. If a drum is used without a casing, then it is placed on a pallet. It provides a hole for draining the juice.

The base - the metal frame - must be strong as it takes up the bulk of the pressure. It is made according to the same principle as for a screw press. A do-it-yourself hydraulic press will become more stable if 2-3 metal pipe sections are welded to the bottom of the frame.

The piston can be a circle made of wood. The diameter should be slightly smaller than that of the juice container. It is made from two oak planks fastened with self-tapping screws. As a stop, a circle of the same diameter made of stainless metal is usually used. A hydraulic device is installed on the stop.

An elastic barrel can also be used as a press. It connects to the water supply and expands under the pressure of water. The press presses on the apples, as a result of which juice is released.

Homemade screw press

The screw press resembles a meat grinder. It is powered by an electric motor that rotates the pulley using a belt drive. Raw materials are loaded into the feed chamber, the auger crushes it and pushes it through a sieve. At the exit, the screw press gives juice with pulp.

For home making, this is the most difficult option. To assemble it, you will need drawings and diagrams, as well as:

  • Robust stainless steel housing,
  • The screw press, which is placed inside the body,
  • Capacity for receiving raw materials,
  • Container for ready-made juice,
  • Electric motor giving from 1500 rpm.

The structure is assembled on a metal frame. As a body, you can use a body from a conventional or electric meat grinder. A screw press is installed in it, which is attached to the engine by means of a drive. A sieve with the required cell diameter is mounted on the outlet. You can use jars, pots or basins as a container for ready-made juice.

The screw press has a higher productivity, since it is driven not by manual force, but by an electric motor.

The productivity of such a machine is up to 7 liters of juice in 5 minutes.

After the summer struggle for the harvest comes the autumn harvest struggle. A juice press is a device that can greatly simplify this task. It is used both in summer cottages and for industrial purposes. Has several configuration options. You can even create a simple device with your own hands. In different regions of Russia, it is most often used in the collection of apples, grapes, carrots, and other vegetables and fruits.

How does a juicing press work?

The device has a mechanical control type. Consists of:

  1. Baskets for loading vegetables or fruits. Depending on the model, it can be made of metal, wood.
  2. Press. He drops into the basket and squeezes its contents.
  3. The filter through which the squeezed product passes, leaving pulp, bones, etc. in it. Sometimes it is made of burlap and wooden gratings.
  4. A pallet where the finished product flows out. It is made from different materials, up to plastic.

If the juice press is operated manually, it takes a lot of effort to extract the juice. Especially when it comes to vegetables, herbaceous plants or hard fruits (). Therefore, it is better not to consider it as a gift to a woman. Only if a small volume is required for use in the kitchen.

How the device works:

  1. Before starting work, the products from which it is planned to make juice are cut into small pieces (or crushed).
  2. They are placed in a basket, distributed evenly over the entire plane (in some devices, a special filter bag is used).
  3. Gradually, a press is lowered onto the basket, which squeezes the contents.
  4. The drink is cleaned by passing through the filters and into the drip tray.

This principle is called the cold-pressed method.

The press does not heat the food, thereby preserving all the nutrients that were laid down by nature.

Advantages and disadvantages

What are the advantages of this type of product processing:

  • all vitamins and minerals are retained;
  • the minimum amount of waste is only 5%;
  • does not make noise when used;
  • simple design, easy to repair in case of breakage;
  • long-term work without wasting resources;
  • is inexpensive;
  • can be easily carried from place to place.

Minuses:

  • if the volume of products is large, then it will take a lot of effort and time to spin;
  • you have to deal with the preliminary processing of vegetables and fruits (for small models, in addition to cutting, you also need to peel the fruits and remove the seeds);
  • a lot of juice from one portion of the product does not work.

Before choosing, you need to decide on the criteria by which you need to evaluate the device.

Control types of juicing presses

Manual presses require direct human participation in the spinning process. Automatic devices start to operate after pressing a button. The latter include hydraulic or pneumatic presses. Their purpose is to process a large amount of products, they are used most often on farms where a large harvest is collected or in production workshops.

For an ordinary suburban area, an automatic juice press is not suitable, since there is no large volume and the cost of the apparatus is above average (about 500,000 rubles).

Types of presses

They differ in the type of mechanism and the nuances of the assembly of the device. Mechanically controlled presses have a small production volume, up to 30 liters per hour. The units are simple, you can make it yourself. Well suited for use at home and in the country. The main structural element is a steel frame. It holds the device in place during operation.

Manual screw press

This device is the simplest and most convenient. The screw press for juice squeezing has an elementary structure: it is set in motion by means of a screw. Under its influence, the piston is lowered. Such units are inexpensive. The only negative is that they sometimes require considerable physical strength.

Hand press models are calculated for about 2.5 liters of vegetables or fruits.

Jack press for juicing

It is easier to operate it than screw. Fix the device on the floor, set it in motion with a jack. Physically, this is much easier than tightening a screw. It can be used in the country, right on the street. A jack press costs about 15,000 rubles and can produce up to 3 liters of juice per full load.

Pneumatic press

Works in automatic mode. It is set in motion by the action of compressed air, which is created by the compressor. It is advisable to use it on large farms, farms or on several sites. Able to process a large amount of vegetables and fruits. Its price is approximately 80-90000.

The pneumatic press produces up to 14 liters of finished juice per 1 cycle.

Hydraulic

Looks like a metal basket with holes. Inside there is a rubber bag into which water is supplied under pressure. The bag fills and presses on the raw materials that are in the basket. The juice flows out through the holes into the lower reservoir.

There are mechanical, automatic and electrical models. The device is set in motion by the pressure of the liquid on the piston. And it is created using controls.

There are two types of hydraulic juicing presses:

Due to the complex structure of the hydraulic press, its price is above average. In private households it is used less often than screw.

Juice Belt Press

Used in factory production. Fully automatic, it performs all functions independently. The machine is powered by electricity and produces directly squeezed juice.

Combined

Here the screw and jack are tried on together. Initially, juice is produced using a screw mechanism. After it, the rest is squeezed by a jack. Effective in small garden areas, handy and easy to use.

Differences in the type of raw materials

In most cases, juicing presses are universal. You can squeeze any fruits and vegetables in them. Some models are based on the creation of oil.

A special press is only suitable for a certain type of raw material. For example, it is only used for citrus fruits or berries. It is not recommended for solid products.

Before loading the raw material into any type of press, it must be crushed. Otherwise, the device will be damaged. A crusher is used for these purposes.

How to choose a juice press

For a home, for a small company, a press with a volume of 3-5 liters is enough. There are special small devices with which you can make 1-2 glasses of juice. For giving, when you need to roll up several cans of juice, use a screw or hydraulic press with a volume of 10-12 liters.

If you have a large garden, wine is produced or the press is used for apples on a large farm, you need to take a volume of up to 30 liters. Automatic or semi-automatic control. Small industrial production will require the ability to squeeze out up to 200 liters of juice per hour. A pneumatic juice press or an electric belt press is ideal.

The tougher the raw materials, the more powerful the unit will be required. A screw press can be used for apple and grape juice, but processing will take a long time. The hydraulic device will give more juice than the screw.

To grind fruits and vegetables, special devices are used - grinders. Any press can process whole fruits and vegetables, but the quality will be much worse, so this is not recommended.

" Apples

Apple trees periodically present amateur gardeners with such a large-scale harvest that there is nowhere to put an excess of fruit. In addition to jam and compotes, there is one more option for processing fruits - juice... But many do not associate with this type of blanks due to the high labor intensity of the process. Ordinary household juicers simply cannot cope with a large volume of raw materials, and not everyone is ready to buy a professional device for the season. But there is a great option - to quickly and efficiently squeeze the juice from apples on a do-it-yourself press.

To make a standard press yourself does not require special skills and drawings. Anyone can measure, saw off the rail, hammer in a nail or screw the nut, if desired. It is not necessary to own a welding machine, any design can be reproduced in a wooden version using ordinary garden tools .

To make a home press from tools, you will need a hacksaw for wood and metal (or a grinder), a welding machine, screwdrivers, pliers, and a hammer. As for the materials, the following are mainly used:

  • metal channel;
  • wooden bars, slats, boards;
  • screws, bolts and nuts;
  • tank or barrel, stainless steel sheet;
  • bench screw and nut, valve, threaded rod or jack - depending on the chosen design;
  • durable fabric with good drainage properties for apple bags: coarse calico, cotton, jute burlap, linen.

It is better to make wooden elements from oak, birch or beech, since materials from biologically active tree species (spruce, pine) can change the taste of the juice. Do not make drainage grates from chipboard under any circumstances: fine dust impregnated with phenol-formaldehyde glue will get into the product.

Types of structures: diagrams and drawings

The main thing in the press is a solid foundation and a working mechanism.

The principle of operation of the device:

  • layer by layer through drainage grates the prepared raw material for pressing is laid(crushed apples) in cloth bags;
  • with the help of the mechanism oppression descends from above and crushes the juice.

A good press squeezes out 65-70% of the juice, leaving an almost dry cake. It is quite possible to make one with your own hands.

Homemade press designs differ in the principle of operation of the main mechanism:

  1. Screw.
  2. Jack based: mechanical and hydraulic.
  3. Combined.

In the bulk of structures, the pressure is from above, but in the combined version, the compression goes in two directions: with a screw mechanism at the top and a hydraulic jack at the bottom.

The juice press consists of the following parts:

  • steady bed;
  • quadrangular or cylindrical frame, inside which bags with shredded apples are folded;
  • wooden lattice with which the bags are shifted so that they do not creep;
  • piston-rage t directly exerting pressure on the cake;
  • thrust bearing for a jack;
  • working mechanism: hand screw, mechanical or hydraulic jack;
  • bowl-pallet.

The main body can be:

  • single perforated: juice will flow through the holes along the walls and through the bottom into the pan;
  • double: a solid casing with a slightly larger diameter is put on a perforated metal cylinder;
  • in the form of a solid metal case with one drain hole at the bottom;
  • assembled from wooden slats connected by hoops, - barrel. In this case, the walls function as a drainage grid.

There may be no case at all- just a pyramid of wooden lattice frames in a tray with a mouth at the bottom, under which a container for juice is substituted.

This design is easy and quick to assemble. For the bottom plate, you can take a piece of the countertop, for example.

Worm gear or hydraulic jack: which to choose?

The screw (worm) mechanism in the press is realized in the form of a large screw (threaded axis) with a nut or a mechanical jack. The latter option is much simpler - you can buy it at a spare parts store or get it out of the trunk of a car, you do not need to look for anything, adjust, grind and weld.

Hydraulic jack structures are significantly more productive(effort from 1 ton) than mechanical ones, and require a minimum of labor on the part of a person. Bottle jacks make it possible to squeeze juice quickly and in large volumes. They fit comfortably into any design.

You can design a press with a removable mechanism, then you don't have to buy a jack specially, but you can use the person on duty in the trunk. After all, the apple harvest is not good every year.

Making a press with your own hands

The press needs a stable, solid support - the bed... The simplest thing is to assemble it from wooden blocks using screws. For the manufacture of a metal frame, you will need a welding machine and a channel.

The dimensions of the frame depend on the diameter of the working body or the parameters of the drainage grates. Therefore, if a case structure is planned, then you need to prepare the container in advance.

The simplest frame press with a worm gear

Stable construction welded... A hole is cut in the center of the upper channel for the screw nut (you can use an old bench or order from turners). The nut is welded into the frame.

Then assembled wooden drainage grate, which is two layers of strips packed perpendicular to each other. The thickness of the slats is not less than 20 mm. It is also necessary to install a stand made of bars. A clamp for the pressing part of the screw is attached to the top board - any metal part of a suitable shape (you can put it on epoxy glue).

The tray is made from a sheet of stainless steel, in the front part the spout-drain is bent. It remains to substitute a saucepan or other container. The result is a press.

The frame for a hydraulic press is assembled according to the same principle as for a screw press. As a case, the easiest way is to take a ready-made metal or wooden barrel.... A hole is cut out at the very bottom and equipped with a drain spout.

If the wooden barrel is not completely sealed, even good. The juice will drain in several directions at once, in the end it will still end up in the pallet. It is better to put on a plastic casing with a larger diameter on top of such a structure so that there is no splashing.

You can make a wooden case yourself:

  1. It will take: several planks of equal size (parquet can be used), two stainless steel strips and self-tapping screws with an anti-corrosion coating.
  2. Boards from above and below are screwed with self-tapping screws to the stripes at a distance of about 10 mm.
  3. Plank stripes bend in a circle, the ends of the strips are bolted together.
  4. A plastic bowl of a suitable diameter can be used as a pallet. with a juice drain cut out at the bottom.

Another important element is the jack support... It is usually made of wood: you need to knock down the slats and cut out a circle from the resulting canvas a little less than the diameter of the working body. You can use a grinder to cut out a support from a sheet of stainless steel.

Drainage pads are made in the same way as in the description for the screw press but they are given a round shape.

As a result, you should get a structure similar to the one in the photo.

Preparation of raw materials

The principle of squeezing apple juice simple - the finer the raw materials are chopped, the more product will be obtained at the output. It is best to use a special chopper (crusher), since it is theoretically possible to finely chop several buckets of apples by hand, but in fact it is difficult to implement. An electric meat grinder for large volumes is also not an option: it roars, howls, heats up, and as a result it can burn out. You can also make a suitable crusher yourself.

The simplest homemade crusher design

A deep hopper is mounted lightly on the cone of moisture-resistant plywood or stainless steel sheet. Two bars are attached to it for stability from below. A wooden roller (preferably made of beech) with self-tapping screws twisted in a spiral is cut into the lower part of the container. You can use a regular kitchen rolling pin as a drum.... The axis of rotation of the roller goes out, a drill is inserted into it and the process begins.

Some people simply crush apples in a bucket using a construction mixer.

The process of squeezing juice from apples at home

After the raw material is prepared, it laid out in cloth bags or wrapped in pieces of fabric according to the principle of an envelope... Further, the bundles are placed in a container, basket or simply on the bottom of the structure in layers through drainage grates. Fits about 3-4 bags. The oppression falls from above, the juice flows into the pan. When the squeezing process is over, the pulp is taken out, the next batch is loaded.

The remaining cake after quality pressure is usually obtained dry and pressed into "tablets" (photo 16).

It is better to dispose of the pomace in a compost heap. Worms reproduce very well on such material, creating fertilizer valuable for the garden.

The resulting juice can not only be drunk fresh, but also prepared for the winter:

  • pasteurized rolled up juice;
  • apple wine several types;
  • apple cider.

Apples are a very valuable product for health.... It is extremely imprudent and wasteful to bury and give surplus crops to neighboring pigs. Having built a couple of simple devices, you can quickly and easily process all the fruits. And in winter it will be so nice to get healthy and tasty amber drinks from the cellar or refrigerator!

Record Do-it-yourself apple press making methods first appeared About the farm.

Processing the harvest of berries and fruits is one of the most important tasks that have to be solved not only by farmers, but also by owners of personal plots. One of the technical devices that greatly facilitate this process is a juice press, which allows you to quickly and without significant physical effort turn fruits and berries into tasty and vitamin-rich juice. There is a wide variety of such devices on the modern market, but those home craftsmen who want to save money on their purchase may well make such a press with their own hands.

Principle of operation and types

All presses for squeezing juice from various berries and fruits can be divided into four main types:

  • mechanical devices;
  • hydraulic presses;
  • electro-hydraulic models;
  • devices of the pneumatic type.

The most common, due to its low cost and simplicity of its design, is a manual mechanical press. One of the main elements of its design is a perforated basket, into which crushed fruits (pulp) are placed or berries are poured into to squeeze juice. Fruits and berries are squeezed out in such a device using a piston, the lowering of which (and the creation of the required pressure) is carried out by rotating the handle, which drives the screw mechanism of the press. The juice formed during the pressure of the piston flows through the holes in the basket into a special tray, from where it is then poured into another container.

Stainless steel sheet or hardwood (eg beech) can be used to make the basket into which the juice is loaded. In the second case, the design of such a basket is a drainage grid, consisting of two equal parts, interconnected by metal hoops.

A modernized and, accordingly, more efficient version of the manual device is the hydraulic press, which can be used to extract juice from apples and berries. Instead of a perforated container, this press uses several drainage frames made of hardwood. The crushed raw material, from which it is necessary to obtain juice, is placed in fabric bags and placed between such frames, on which a significant pressure (1–5 tons) is exerted from above, created by a manual hydraulic jack. Using such a squeezing mechanism, you can get up to 70% of the juice from the total mass of the processed crop.

The hydraulic press does not necessarily involve the use of a jack as a mechanism to create the required pressure. So, in one of the designs of such presses, an elastic membrane barrel is used as this mechanism, expanding under the influence of water supplied to it under a pressure of 1.5–2 atm from a conventional water supply network. Expanding, such a press membrane acts on fruits and berries placed in a perforated basket, squeezing out the juice from them, which flows through the holes in the walls of the basket into the storage tray.

A pneumatic press for juicing also works according to the principle described above. The only difference is that the expansion of the membrane barrel, also present in its structure, does not occur under the influence of the water filling it, but under the pressure of compressed air supplied from the compressor.

Since certain types of raw materials from which it is necessary to squeeze the juice are loaded into the presses in a crushed form, it is imperative to mention the devices that help bring it to this state. The design of the simplest shredder is a steel drum, the walls of which are made in the form of a grater. Such a drum, which converts the raw materials loaded into it into small crumbs, is placed in a casing with a loading neck. This simple and effective mechanism is powered by the rotation of a special crank. There are also more efficient and efficient models of such units, driven by an electric motor.

If we talk about the productivity of mechanical presses for squeezing juice, then it is rather low and can be in the range of 10–30 l / h. However, this performance is quite sufficient for devices used for domestic purposes.

In order to increase the percentage of juice yield from squeezed fruits and berries, as well as improve its quality, two methods are used:

  • the raw materials are loaded into the presses in fabric bags that act as filters;
  • squeezing out the juice is carried out by means of drainage grates made of wood, or by means of "pancakes" made of stainless steel.

The use of drainage grates or "pancakes" ensures that the juice is squeezed out not only from the top and bottom, but also from the middle part of the volume being compressed. The bags, as mentioned above, act as filters and allow you to immediately clear the squeezed juice from the pulp.

In cases where the productivity of a hand press for obtaining juice is not enough, devices with an electric drive are used. The electric drive can be seen in the screw press for juicing and in screw-type units operating on the principle of a conventional meat grinder. In the first case, the press drive is a pair of "electric motor - hydraulic jack".

In screw presses, structurally reminiscent of a conventional meat grinder, the drive motor is directly connected to the working body - the auger. Such a press is used for pressing grapes, it is also an excellent press for fruits, berries and juice from tomatoes. It works according to the following principle: the loaded raw material is crushed by means of a screw and pressed through a sieve that has a conical shape. This sieve shape allows not only high-quality squeezing of juice, but also beating seeds. It should be borne in mind that grape or any other juice obtained from such a press is distinguished by a large amount of pulp.

Prices for serial models of juicing presses depend on several factors:

  • the volume of the loading basket;
  • device type;
  • material of manufacture;
  • press productivity in terms of juice received per unit of time.

The cheapest, naturally, will cost a home press of a small capacity, working on a screw principle. The cost of a hydraulic juicer is slightly higher. Next in the price category is a press juicer for processing apples and other raw materials, operating using compressed air. The most expensive of those on the market today are membrane-type hydraulic presses.

DIY presses for squeezing juice

It is quite possible to make a press for juice with your own hands, the main thing is to find work schemes and drawings of such homemade products, which will not be difficult. Many of those home craftsmen who already have experience in making such equipment are happy to share photos of their devices and even videos showing the process of their manufacture and the principle of operation in all details.

Most often, they strive to make screw-type presses with their own hands. Meanwhile, it should be borne in mind that it will not work to make a powerful screw for such a device without the involvement of a qualified turner. It can be made without third-party specialists if you replace the screw mechanism with a conventional jack (mechanical or hydraulic), which is in the arsenal of every motorist.

The main supporting element of the hand-made juice press is the frame. Particular attention should be paid to its strength. To make such a frame, against which the jack will rest and create the required pressure, you can use a square metal pipe with a section of 40x40 and a wall thickness of at least 3 mm. When calculating the height of the frame of your homemade press, you should take into account the total thickness of the drainage grates, linings and bags of raw materials, as well as the height of the jack. The width of the frame can be chosen arbitrarily - the main thing is that a storage tray is placed in the opening being created to collect the squeezed juice.

When creating a do-it-yourself press for apples or grapes, you should pay special attention to its stability. To effectively solve this problem, three pieces of square pipe can be welded to the bottom of the frame, which will act as legs and ensure the stability of the unit. On the upper part of the legs, a stand made of boards or wood board is laid, on which the pallet will be placed.

Drainage grates, complete with which your apple, grape or any other press will work, should be made only of hardwood (oak or beech). The thickness of the planks from which such gratings will be made must be at least 20 mm.

The press basket is made of oak planks (you can buy parquet planks), tightened with corners with small gaps and fixed with stainless self-tapping screws.

The bags into which the apple pulp or other raw materials for squeezing juice will be placed can be made from various fabrics (the main thing is that such fabric is highly durable and the bags that are sewn from it do not burst under the influence of high pressure created by a jack). As such fabrics, in particular, ordinary burlap, jute, cotton and linen fabrics, chintz and synthetic materials can be used.
