The universal sharpening machine 3E642 is designed for sharpening the main types of cutting tools: cutters, mills, centers, etc. from instrumental steel, solid alloy, metal-ceramics abrasive, diamond and elforic circles.

Machine 3E642 (3E642E) replaced outdated model in production 3D642E. (3D642E) and was removed from production in 1994. Currently, the production of "legendary" models of sharpening machines 3E642 and 3E642E resumed.

Sharpening machines 3E642 have a cast cast-iron bed, it increases the processing accuracy and reduces the oscillation caused by the processing of the part. Transverse feed mechanism

Grinding grandmother (Fig. 17) consists of a grinding head housing 13 and the body of the column lifting shaft. The housing 13 of the grinding head has a hole for the installation of the grinding head and two grinding mutually perpendicular planes with T-shaped grooves.
