Drawings of a corner computer table. Dimensions.

According to the preliminary design project, the MFP is installed on a retractable console, which is attached to the top and side of the cabinet. One of the sidewalls of the curbstone simultaneously serves as a support for the tabletop, transferring the load to the legs. The reason why the role of the support is assigned to the inner side is visible from the structure itself, in this form, access and work with the MFP can be carried out from almost all sides.

Underframe.

The height of the base is equal to the total height of the cabinet (740 mm), the length and width of the base is free and is calculated in accordance with the dimensions of the table top (see section above).

The cabinet, the inner side of which is the support for the tabletop, is adjoined by the main underframe with one more, farthest support and the rear vertical wall. The back wall has three functions: it is a link between the table supports, a vertical spatial structural stiffener and an additional support for horizontal shelves. The back wall is fixed with a gap between the table top, i.e. it does not rest against it with its upper end. Thus, we have provided a place for free passage of computer electric cables.

Two horizontal shelves were placed between the table supports in the underframe, which can be used for various needs. For example, it is convenient to put your feet on the bottom shelf when you want to sit back in an armchair and watch a movie from the monitor screen. In addition, these shelves, together with the back wall, play the role of an element of spatial rigidity of the entire table.

The supporting tabletop sidewall of the underframe is installed on adjustable mortise supports. ...

Shelf for the keyboard.

A keyboard shelf can be made independently to fit your size or you can use a special component for computer tables - a ready-made factory keyboard shelf.

The advantages of the finished shelf - it does not need to be made by yourself, the disadvantages - is used only for the keyboard.

Advantages - it can be made in any individual size.

A frame is made of two sidewalls and two connected strips. The shelf itself is mounted on full extension telescopic ball guides.

The installation of the keyboard shelf is extremely simple, it is screwed with 4x30 self-tapping screws through the connected strips under the bottom of the tabletop, directly into its place.

If you plan to use a corner table under a stationary computer, and not under a laptop, it becomes necessary to place a system unit. In order not to fence additional structures under the tabletop and make the system unit not tied to a specific place, we will make a stand for the system unit. You can use a ready-made accessory from the factory, but we love to do everything ourselves and will make it so that the design is in harmony with the entire table.

Add-on for a computer desk.

Today there is a computer desk in almost every home - this is an indisputable fact. This is not surprising, because a computer has long been considered a luxury and a modern person spends a lot of time at it. Therefore, the table on which the computer is located should be as comfortable as possible.

Of course, the current variety of furniture allows you to choose the desired model. But a high-quality computer desk made of wood is not cheap and not everyone has the opportunity to purchase it.

There is a great solution to this problem - to make a computer desk yourself.

The main thing is to start ...

The question "how to make a computer desk with your own hands" can sound daunting to people who have no experience. In fact, this process is not complicated. The first step is to organize it correctly. For this you need:

Determine the list of elements that will be located on the table - its size and design directly depends on this. The standard set is a monitor, mouse, keyboard and system unit. Additionally, speakers, a microphone, a printer, etc. can be placed on the table.

Select the material from which the table will be made. Most often, chipboard is chosen for this purpose, less often plastic or MDF.

Decide on the location of the computer desk. It will depend on this whether you need an ordinary straight or corner computer table.

You can also make a combined table, but this idea will be more difficult to implement. When choosing a location, it is imperative to take into account the presence of sockets, the proximity of heating, the angle of incidence of light.

Determine the size of the future table. A small computer desk is neat, but more suitable for spending time on the Internet. But for work, it is better to give preference to a more solid table size.

When all these points are thought out, and the decisions are weighed, you can start drawing up a project for the future product.

Computer desk design

A fundamental step in designing a computer desk is choosing the most suitable design. In this case, it is necessary to pay attention to factors such as:

  • practicality;
  • convenience;
  • functionality;
  • appearance.

Having decided on your preferences, you need to make a sketch of the future computer desk. It is not at all necessary to have special artistic skills for this. The main thing is to think over all the details and give the drawing a complete look.

Based on the finished sketch, you can already create a detailed drawing, indicating specific dimensions. If this task seems impracticable, you can use ready-made drawings of computer tables found on the Internet, improving them according to your wishes.

What materials are needed?

After the drawings of the computer desk have already been brought to perfection, you can begin to determine the materials necessary for the work, such as:

  • the basis from which the table will actually be made;
  • fastening materials;
  • tubes, handles, wheels and other accessories (depending on the complexity of the design).

Fastening materials, and even the main material, are best taken with a small margin, since during assembly it may be necessary to additionally strengthen the table. It is also not worth saving on the quality of materials, here it is important to choose the optimal ratio of price and quality.

Pros and cons of creating a computer desk on your own

The idea of making a computer desk yourself has a lot of advantages, such as:

You can make a product of the required length, width and height, which is ideal for a particular room. Factory furniture usually comes in standard sizes, which are often difficult to place. Making furniture according to the customer's size is not a cheap pleasure.

The design of a do-it-yourself computer desk will fully meet individual requirements. It will have the required number of shelves, drawers, its shape and height will be as comfortable as possible to work behind it.

A do-it-yourself computer desk will be cheaper than purchasing a finished piece of furniture. The cost of a factory table includes not only the price of consumables, but also the wages of workers, rent of premises, a store margin and many other factors.

Independent selection of fittings and parts for assembling the table. Quite often, furniture manufacturers save on these little things, which, as a result, has a deplorable effect on the quality of the finished table. Sometimes the quality is so bad that even an inexperienced person can see it from a photo of a computer desk.

At first glance, making a computer desk yourself may seem like an impossible task. But this process is very fun and creative, so it is likely that even a small computer desk, made by hand, can be an incentive to create other, more complex and intricate furniture.

Diy photo of computer tables

It is no longer easy to imagine our life without a computer. Although some people prefer laptops and all-in-ones for their compactness and portability, the usual desktop computer is still the most convenient solution. But equipment of this kind should be placed in a specially equipped place for this, but often buyers do not quite understand how to assemble a computer desk, and whether it is worth doing it yourself.

Before assembly

Before directly placing homemade or purchased furniture, you need to decide exactly where it will be located. This is an extremely important step, because the location of the equipment must meet all safety and proper operation rules.

The basic rules are as follows:

  • Availability of outlets nearby and the ability to easily connect devices.
  • It is better to arrange the structure so that it does not take up much space in the room.
  • To avoid vision problems, the computer room should be well lit with natural light.
  • The wall, to which the computer table will be attached, should be flat, there should not be pictures and other decorative items hanging on it.
  • Do not place the equipment near heaters or batteries, otherwise the devices may overheat.

Following these rules, you can eliminate most of the problems that may arise when working on a personal computer in the future.

Assembling the computer desk according to the instructions

Ordering a ready-made table without assembly and delivery will save a significant amount, and the process itself, although it requires accuracy and meticulousness, is quite simple. Even if there are difficulties with the table assembly scheme or in the process, there is always the opportunity to contact the support center of the store that sold this product.

Before assembling, check the presence of each required part and the circuit itself. The quickest and easiest thing to assemble is the curbstone, and the most difficult stage is the installation of moving parts, so it is recommended to start with the curbstone.

Carefully fasten the support components to the table top so that the finished structure does not wobble.

Sequencing

Unpack each package and distribute the parts. Put the small ones in some kind of tray or box, arrange the individual modules: legs, tabletop, etc. The tabletop, as a rule, will be assembled at the very end according to the instructions.

Prepare a screwdriver, 2 screwdrivers (flat and Phillips). According to the diagram, put the parts you need according to the instructions on the floor with the inside side up, put the metal fasteners so that the holes coincide, and connect them with the fastening screws and plugs. Each part connects exactly according to the assembly instructions for this table.

Under the work surface, fit the rails for the keyboard drawer in the indicated places horizontally and parallel to the floor. Make sure the shelf goes straight and free of obstruction and secure the rails with a screwdriver. Install the plugs and insert the roller shelf.

Check all connected parts according to the instructions, the structure itself must be tightly fixed and not wobble. You can install and connect your computer.

This algorithm is applicable to almost any type of furniture. Even such a difficult process as assembling a transforming table will not be unnecessarily difficult if you arrange the parts in the order of the diagram and carefully read the instructions.

Making a computer desk yourself

Design

Sometimes assembling a computer desk with your own hands can be a cheaper way than buying or assembling costs. But in this case, you will have to think over the design, material, color yourself, make instructions, drawings, diagrams and details.

The first step in manufacturing is to design and plan your structure. As a rule, this is done using chipboard. It should be remembered that this approach will require much more attention and care than connecting ready-made parts according to a pre-written instruction.

The main parameters by which you can design a computer table:

  • Type: corner or straight, rectangular, modular, multi-seater, stand-up table or transforming table;
  • Length: for an extension and a tabletop (space for the user) 60-70 cm is recommended, for corner options this parameter will be no more than 60 cm, since the swivel space, space for the system unit, for the cabinet (30-40 cm) is taken into account
  • Depth: 60-70 cm (including the extension) or 45 cm (without it), for the corner model 85 cm;
  • Height: depends on the height of the user himself, the average value is 75 cm. There is a formula for calculating the optimal height: height * 75: 175. For a child, it is recommended to include in the plan a system for adjusting the height of the seat.
  • Planning the curbstone

It is also possible to find ready-made options, diagrams, drawings, instructions and photos of the assembly of any table on the network. This can make the design a little easier and speed up its production.

Parts preparation and assembly

When the final version has already been chosen, all the parameters suit the user and are well thought out, it is time to turn the idea into reality. In order to assemble a computer table according to the scheme, you will need:

  • Material: furniture sheet of the required size, it is allowed to use MDF boards, plywood or chipboard;
  • Machine tool, hacksaw, chisel;
  • Sandpaper;
  • Any varnish to cover;
  • Self-tapping screws, fixing screws, drawer handles, shelf rollers and other pre-planned parts.
  • Pencil, tape measure, square;
  • Screwdriver and drill with drills.

Once all the tools are ready to go, you can start slicing:

First of all, you need to cut out the table top, sides, top and bottom of the cabinet. Take the dimensions exactly as shown in the drawing.

Cut off the corners of the vertical panels, the back corners can be left as they are, as they will point towards the wall. Using sandpaper, round off any irregularities in the cut, sand the sharp corners.

Cut out the shelf for the keyboard and the stand on which the system unit will be located. If the drawing includes additional shelves, cut them out as well. Round off the front corners, and near the bottom rear corner, cut out a small area for the baseboard so that the shelves and stands are flush against the wall.

Use a drill to punch holes in the previously marked places (with a pencil). Check to see if the holes line up perfectly.

If a drawer unit is provided, then cut out all the remaining walls and drawers, make pencil markings where the drawer rails should be located, and attach them with the mounting screws. Connect the bezel to the bottom, then to the body walls themselves. Assemble the box, not forgetting about the back wall, drawers, and check the movement of the drawers along the guides.

In a similar way, an extension is made, if it is provided according to the plan. To do this, cut holes in the countertop and on the vertical walls of the structure with a drill, where they will be attached to the countertop to be attached to it. Take a square and set the sides so that they are perpendicular to the plane of the table and secure them.

Screw the self-tapping screws into the underside of the countertop, you may need to find someone to help hold the panels. All other walls parallel to the floor plane are attached in the same way as the side strips. The main thing is to check with the help of a level their location relative to the floor.

The assembled table must be completely disassembled. Mark the details in advance so that you can immediately understand what is attached to what. Sand and varnish every detail to ensure a smooth, long-lasting structure.

Connect the modules to each other according to the diagram and check the structure for instability.

If the table stands firmly and does not tilt from side to side during operation, then it is ready for use. You can safely put it in a predetermined place and connect the equipment.

The quality and durability of the structure depends on the accuracy of installation and cutting of parts, as well as on the quality of the fasteners themselves. By choosing each component of your table model yourself, you can prevent damage and other inconveniences that may arise in the future.

Thus, in addition to buying a ready-made table, you can save a pretty round amount of money by assembling a computer desk with your own hands. But this method will require the utmost care, painstaking and more time than assembling ready-made parts.

A homemade table can look exactly the way the user personally wants it, the main thing is only to correctly handle the tools and pay more attention to the assembly and grinding of wooden panels.

Photo of the process of assembling tables

There is a computer in every home, and for it you need a convenient one, with all the shelves and drawers necessary for comfortable work.

Of course, this piece of furniture can be bought in a store, the assortment of computer tables is very large, and it will not be difficult to choose a design according to your needs.

But the cost of exclusive custom-made models is quite high. Therefore, many ordinary people think about how to make a computer desk yourself.

Before you start creating this piece of furniture, you need to decide on the place of its installation, and only after that start designing the structure. There is three types computer tables:

  • straight;
  • angular;
  • combined.

Important! To make the workplace comfortable and convenient, you need to choose the right type of structure, while building a table with minimal costs.

Straight

Straight design is a classic. If you look at it, then this is a simple desk, with some additional add-ons. This option is suitable for those people who use a computer from time to time, for example, to communicate in social. networks. This computer desk is placed against a wall.

Angular

This model is for advanced users who spend a lot of time at the computer. Corner design is preferable in apartments and rooms with a small area since they occupy the dead zone of the corner. You won't need a lot of material for this construction.

Important! The angular design is not suitable for people who work at a computer, documents and stationery will constantly get in the way at hand.

Combined

A combined table is an ideal option for professionals, as there are many nightstands, shelves, niches in the design. This piece of furniture takes up a lot of space, so it will not work for a small room.

It is more difficult to assemble this structure than the first two, but if you have patience, then the result will please you.

The constituents

Any computer desk, unless of course this is the simplest model, has some functional areas:

  • shelf for the system unit, should be located in such a way that there is free access to the unit, but at the same time all the wires are hidden behind the working area. The size of the shelf must correspond to the dimensions of the system unit;
  • table top- an integral part of the structure, there will be a monitor on it;
  • speaker stands- the element is required. The audio system takes up a lot of space and it is uneconomical to place them on the table, and the table space should be as ergonomic as possible;
  • scanner, printer, MFP - should stand separately, and on the uppermost shelf, since they are not used every day;
  • keyboard stand- although some believe that this element is unhealthy.

Advice! Convenience of work can be increased by providing drawers for storing office supplies.

How to fit a drawing with your own hands?

As soon as a decision has been made what configuration of the table you need, you can proceed to the practical part - direct manufacturing with your own hands. At the very beginning of the creation of the project, they are determined with the dimensions of the structure, specifically with the height. A standard table is 75 cm high, but there is a special calculation formula:

Important! Table height = Height multiplied by 75 and divided by 175.

If a person's height is 180 cm, then applying this formula mono calculate that the height of the computer desk will be 77 cm.

If you find it difficult to create your own drawing, adapt an existing one on the network with your own hands. The classic computer desk is easy to manufacture and has such constituents how:

  • tabletop under the monitor;
  • shelf for the keyboard;
  • shelves for office supplies;
  • drawers for papers;
  • two upper shelves for acoustics or decor.

If everything is designed correctly, then there is a place on the computer desk for all the necessary elements.

After everything is decided with the project, you need to draw up a detailed action plan, which will describe the step-by-step instructions for assembling the structure.

Materials and tools

Before starting work at home, prepare everything you need. Materials (edit):

  • furniture boards 1.8x20x200 cm - 2 pcs;
  • shields 1.8x60x200 and 1.8x40x200 - 3 pairs;
  • boards 1.2x12 cm - 6.2 meters;
  • plywood 6 mm - 1 sheet;
  • drawer guides - 3 pairs;
  • a pair of guides for the keyboard shelf;
  • accessories and fasteners.

Instruments:

  • screwdriver and drill;
  • hacksaw;
  • construction stapler;
  • grinder;
  • chisels;
  • building corner and ruler;
  • roulette;
  • sandpaper of various fractions;
  • glue;
  • brushes and varnish;
  • furniture tape.

Materials are indicated based on the assumption that a classic design will be assembled. When creating an individual computer desk, this list needs to be adjusted for the project.

Advice! When choosing guides for pull-out shelves and drawers, it is better to prefer ball models, despite the fact that their cost is higher than roller ones. The disadvantage of roller elements is that they do not last long, do not fully extend, do not have a reliable stop.

How to make?

The assembly of the structure is carried out strictly according to the drawing that was prepared earlier.

How to assemble the lower tier yourself?

The first step is part marking on the surface of the material:

  • three vertical walls;
  • countertop;
  • covers for the bedside table.
  • All actions are carried out according to the project.

The vertical walls need to be sawed - the front, upper corners are cut off 2x2 cm, the cuts are cleaned.

Typically, the computer desk is installed close to the wall, so the bottom corners are cut to fit the plinth... Usually this distance is 4.5x5.5 mm.

On the vertical wall at the back, which runs in the center, you need to make a sample, it will be at a height of 26.5 cm. The width of the sample is 20 cm, the depth is 1.8 cm. When assembling, a cross member will be installed in this place. The selection is made so that the element is screwed with self-tapping screws end-to-end to the side walls. This panel replaces the back wall of the structure. In this case, the table will receive proper rigidity and stability.

As soon as all the elements are ready, holes for fasteners are drilled in the right places. If this is not done, then during assembly, the furniture board may crack at the attachment point. Twist the elements with self-tapping screws.

It's time to make a niche for installing a system unit. If you are a system administrator or programmer, then you need access to the system unit and its components all the time. Therefore, it is worth equipping a stationary, strong and stable shelf on self-tapping screws.

The horizontal shelf and the side wall are cut to the size of the drawing. At the side element, cut off the front corner from above, process with sandpaper. It is also worth sawing the rear bottom corner under the skirting board. Screw the shelf to the side wall, then fasten the structure to the side table stand and the rear cross member. The openings under the shelf and the curbstone must be closed with panels cut for the plinth. The fastening in this case will be dowels. In this case, they are not treated with glue..

The bottom of the computer desk is ready. You can start building a superstructure with shelves.

Computer add-on

In order for the computer desk to be as functional and convenient as possible, the project needs to provide not only shelves, a tabletop and a bottom for the system unit, but also an upper part with stripes.

The superstructure is not only an additional storage space for small items, but also serves as a decorative function.

Step-by-step instruction:

  1. Mark the necessary elements on the furniture board, cut out.
  2. Carefully sand all the cuts so that the sharp corners are rounded.
  3. The sides will be attached to the table top, so you need to determine the attachment points.
  4. Make a template 1.8 cm thick.
  5. Attach the template to the table top and make the markings. For more accurate marking at the ends of the template, you need to equip the holes with a drill and drill.
  6. Then drill holes in the countertop according to the markings in this way:
    • drill through holes in the countertop with a drill with a drill of the desired section;
    • at the ends of the sidewalls, drill blind holes with a drill of the same section.
  7. To install the side elements of the superstructure on the table top, use the building angle, it will help to avoid skewing in the structure.
  8. The side posts are screwed onto self-tapping screws under the table top, while the through and blind holes are aligned.
  9. Next comes the fixing of the upper shelf of the superstructure, for this, an element of the required length with a width of 31.5 cm is cut out of the 40x200 cm shield.
  10. The middle pillar is cut out of a 20x200 cm board.It should be equipped like the side walls and installed on the tabletop using self-tapping screws, adjusting the perpendicularity of the structure with a building angle.
  11. The next step will be the arrangement of the rear side. Which is screwed to the sidewalls and the end of the middle element. This process is also regulated by a corner.
  12. Now you need to arrange a place for the printer, which is usually on the left side. Please note that the printer has a significant specific weight, therefore, the shelf under it must be strong and stable. For greater structural strength, the shelf is not just screwed onto self-tapping screws, but is additionally attached to the side walls using furniture corners.

This completes the work on arranging the superstructure, and you can proceed to the next stage.

Pull-out panel and drawers

Drawers are essential in a design such as a computer desk. The functionality of these elements is undeniable. How to properly equip drawers we will now consider:

  1. For the bottom of the structure, you will need plywood, from which we cut out the elements of the required size.
  2. We form side walls from the board.
  3. Connect the 4 side elements with self-tapping screws.
  4. Using a construction stapler and staples, connect the bottom and sides of the box.
  5. Important! The width and depth of the inner drawer is adjusted based on the thickness of the guides that will be installed on the inside of the bedside table.
  6. Fasten the guides in such a way that a gap of 1.8 cm is formed between them and the edge of the bedside table. This is the thickness of the front panel of the drawer.

The rest of the boxes are picked in the same way.

Screw the guide rail at the required distance from the table top, install the brake elements and the shelf.

The construction of the structure is not completed on this. Now you need to tear it into components and varnish the parts. Once all the elements are completely dry, you can make the final assembly of the computer desk.

Advice! To strengthen the structure, all end elements and fasteners are treated with wood glue before assembly.

Facing and decorating at home

As soon as the structure is finally assembled, proceed to its cladding and decoration:

  1. The first step is to install the facades on the retractable elements.
  2. Cut out the front elements, grind the cuts. Drill holes in the places where the handle will be installed.
  3. Place the front against the front wall of the drawer and mark the attachment point.
  4. Attach the front panel and fix it to the drawer with the screws that will secure the handle.
  5. For additional reliability, the cladding panel is fixed with self-tapping screws from the inside of the boxes. Self-tapping screws must be taken of such a length that they enter the cladding panel by a maximum of 2/3.

    Conclusion

    As is clear from the article, there is nothing difficult in creating a computer desk with your own hands. It is enough to follow the instructions exactly, be patient.

    Important! If a decision is made to make a structure from MDF panels, then experts advise ordering a cut of the material into separate parts in a specialized workshop. It will not cost a lot of money, and the details will turn out to be smooth and neat, with the edge removed.

    You should not immediately take on too complex structures, if you do not have carpentry experience, start with a simple one.

    In contact with

    It is difficult enough to imagine any house of a modern person without different technical equipment. The championship in this respect is, of course, the computer. Those who prefer compact models of netbooks do not need to be puzzled by the choice of furniture for their placement. But if a computer is required not only for entertainment, but primarily for work, then, naturally, more powerful equipment of a stationary type will be required. In this case, making a computer desk with your own hands is a rational decision.

    Before you make a large or small computer desk with your own hands, you must first of all correctly approach the organization of the process.

    Therefore, make an accurate list of all the elements that will make up the complete set of the system. This is standard:

    Choose a suitable material for the construction of the table. Most often, materials such as chipboard are used for this.

    How to choose a place for your computer desk?

    The next step in your work is to determine the correct location for the table. Naturally, the less space the computer desk occupies, the better, since the usable area will not be cluttered. But at the same time, it is also not worth minimizing it, since then this piece of furniture is unlikely to fulfill its multifunctional purpose.

    Among the basic rules for placement, the prerequisites are the following:

    How to design a computer desk?

    After you have decided on a room and a specific location, it's time to start more interesting work - designing a computer desk. To do this, you will need to carefully analyze all the source data, study the rules below and draw up your drawing.

    Important! Accuracy and an extremely attentive approach will allow you not only to equip the workplace with maximum comfort, but also significantly reduce the money spent on consumables, so take this stage responsibly. In addition, the assembly speed and the amount of nerves spent on it will depend on how correctly you determine all the parameters.

    How to choose a computer desk?

    The first design stage is the selection of a suitable design. In this regard, there are several criteria:

    The following types of structures are distinguished:

    How to determine the length of the table?

    The required table length is determined by a number of factors, which include:

    How to determine the depth of the table?

    Calculating the depth of a computer table is also easy. In this case, be guided by the following conditions:

    How to calculate the height of the table?

    The calculation of the table height indicator is also no more complicated than the previous parameter. The standard level is 75 cm from the floor. It can vary if your height is far from average, and you will be the only one to use the computer desk. In this case, calculate the height you need as follows:

    Height * 75/175 cm

    Important! In order to clearly understand how to perform the calculation, check out the following example: with a height of 1.82 m, 182 * 75/175 = 78 cm are required.

    How do I determine the dimensions of the monitor stand?

    Many consider it unnecessary to have such a structural element, but at the same time, it will provide a more convenient viewing of all the necessary information on the monitor and free up some space.

    Depending on the form, these modules are of the following type:

    How to properly design a keyboard shelf?

    A keyboard shelf is another integral part of a computer desk design. Such a module will provide a number of advantages in terms of the usability of the PC:

    To enter data into the drawing of a computer table with your own hands, select the type of construction that suits you from the 2 existing ones:

    Niche or shelf for the system unit?

    The uninterrupted operation of the PC is ensured by a properly functioning system unit. Therefore, it is extremely important to create favorable conditions for its placement in order to ensure the duration of operation and the absence of the need to carry out frequent repairs.

    The basic placement rules include:

    To understand why exactly it is necessary to arrange a special compartment in the computer desk for the system unit, we will outline the advantages:

    Benefits of stands:

    • mobility;
    • autonomy;
    • a small amount of consumables.

      Important! As a disadvantage, we note the fact that you can use it exclusively for its intended purpose. Use rollers with guides or adjustable furniture legs as supports for the stand. Determine the parameters of such stands of the simplest design at 280 mm in width, 500 mm in length and 120 mm in height.

    Pros of Niche Design:

    How to make a project of a curbstone for a computer desk?

    The use of a stand as an additional element of the design of a computer table is not only a practical solution, but also a sign of good design taste. It can be used for:

    According to the method of installation, the stands are distinguished into:

    How to design a computer desk extension?

    Increasingly, when choosing a table design for a PC, preference is given not to simple, but to more complex options with a superstructure. This decision is not accidental, because the useful space is significantly expanded, and the vertical is used for this. It is the add-on that can be an excellent option for installing a scanner, printer, keeping books and documents in an orderly way.

    The main requirements for an extension are related to two factors:

    • attractiveness and originality of design;
    • practicality of the size and location of the shelves.

    In terms of dimensions, be sure to take into account the location of the monitor you have determined and its diagonal:

    Consider some additional guidelines for designing an extension:

    How to assemble a computer desk with your own hands?

    So that you can more clearly imagine the assembly process, as an example, below is a diagram of a drawing of a computer desk made of chipboard (pine) with a stand for the system unit, a pull-out shelf for a keyboard and an additional shelf at the bottom, a cabinet with 3 drawers and an extension with sequential instructions its installation.

    Conclusion

    Drawing up a drawing and assembling a computer table with your own hands at first glance may seem like a time-consuming task that you cannot cope with. In fact, be sure that this is more of a creative process, which you will certainly like, and upon completion of the process it will bring pleasure not only from comfortable work at the computer, but also moral satisfaction from the work done on your own.
