Installing the gas convector under the size of the size. How to install a gas convector. Gas Converter Operation Principle

But about what is a gas convector, consumers know little.

The gas thermal convector is a device that is capable of generating heat due to gas combustion. The design of the unit is pretty simple.

  1. Burner. The scales are connected to it.
  2. The heat exchanger whose task is to give heat passing through it. To heat a larger air, the heat exchanger is made by the ribbed (to increase the area).
  3. System for removal of combustion products.
  4. The system of automation, installed for security purposes and disables the unit when problems occur in operation.
  5. Thermostat, ensures maintenance in the premises of a given temperature.
  6. The housing is used to protect the device and made of metal covered with heat-resistant paint.

Figure below shows the gas convector device.

The principle of operation of the apparatus is that gas, when combustion in the chamber, heats up heat Exchanger. The flow of air, passing through the lower holes of the unit, moves through the heat exchanger, takes the heat and extends heated to the room through the upper holes. Meanwhile, out of the chamber, gas burning products are output with double-sleeved pipe (coaxial). Through it, fresh air comes from the street to the apparatus to maintain the combustion process.

Principle of operation convector

Types of gas convectors

Heaters are classified by types of installation - models are wall and outdoor. Distinctive features navy The devices can be called their compactness, low weight, efficiency. But they are limited in performance. Their maximum capacity indicators can only reach 10 kW. If you want to warm the room with a large area, then it is better to use the model outdoor Type. But such calorifers have a large mass, due to the large size of the heat exchanger. The power can reach several MW.

Wall gas boiler

Advantages and disadvantages of gas convectors

Among the advantages of gas calorificates, the following factors can be distinguished.

  1. Economic indicator. , significantly cheaper the gas heating systems. But the latter won in the low cost of operation. For example, if you take a standard model with a cast iron heat exchanger with a capacity of about 3 kW, then the cost of it will be 2 times in comparison with the electrical power. We also know that 1 kW of electricity and 1 m 3 of gas are similar in price. But to produce 1 kW of thermal energy, it will be necessary only 0.1 m 3 gas. It is at the expense of this that savings are achieved during operation. These calculations are applicable only when using gas convectors on the main natural gas.
  2. The possibility of using balloon gas. The unit is easily converted to work on propane. Such an opportunity allows you to use gas convectors for giving or other places where there is no main gas supply. But on the economic indicators of the heating device on the balloon propane is also not beneficial, as well as electrical.
  3. Ecology.The calorifer with a closed combustion chamber does not burn oxygen indoors.
  4. No coolant required. To use this type of gas heaters, the water heating system is not required, as in the case of autonomous heating (gas boiler). It is convenient if you use the aggregate at the cottage or in the garage. In winter, with a disconnected device, water will not freeze water in the system, as there is no liquid in it.

But there are devices such and certain cons use.

Selection convector

How to choose a gas convector? First of all, attention is paid to the technical characteristics of the unit. The best option can be considered a device with a closed combustion chamber and a cast iron heat exchanger. An important is the presence of a programmable control unit. Consider other factors to pay attention to when choosing a household gas convector.

Power of the apparatus

Since heating occurs due to air circulation, the aggregates work effectively only in one room. Therefore, for each room you need to install a separate unit. Power is determined at the rate: 1 m 2 area requires 100 W.

Heat exchanger material

Since the gas convectors of heating operate on gas, which burns in a special chamber, the heat exchanger is exposed to a strong temperature effect. If he burns after some time, the device fails. Therefore, the material of this part must be resistant to high temperatures. The leader among materials for the heat exchanger is cast iron. This metal is resistant to thermal loads, in addition, it slowly cools and evenly distributes heat. Gas convectors with a cast-iron heat exchanger can serve up to 50 years. The main disadvantages of such devices are a high price and a large mass of the aggregate. Heater with heat exchanger from become Cheaper and has a smaller weight. But when choosing an aggregate should pay attention to what quality steel. Steel heat exchangers can serve no less than 20 years.

Type of combustion chamber

Heaters may differ constructively by type of combustion chambers:

  1. Open the combustion chamber. Installing an aggregate with such a camera requires the installation of a chimney with an exit to the roof. In addition, when the unit is operating, to maintain the combustion process, air from the room will be closed. Therefore, good ventilation of the room is required.
  2. Closed the combustion chamber. Such models are greater popularity, since it does not require a pipe with a roof (a coaxial pipe is installed opposite the apparatus). And one more plus can be called that it does not cease oxygen in the room, since the air fence occurs outside the building.

Fan presence

The gas convector with the fan quickly and evenly warms the entire room. Due to the forced air supply to the heat exchanger, the latter is better cooled. And since the overheating is not allowed, the service life of the heat exchanger is significantly increased.

Type of room

If you want to install convector in the apartmentThe best choice will be an apparatus having a closed combustion chamber and chimney with a coaxial pipe. This type of apparatus does not burn oxygen indoors. IN private buildings You can install any. But when using a device with an open combustion chamber, the room must have an inflow ventilation.

Type of fuel

The use of liquefied gas is prohibited in apartment buildings. Therefore, the device is connected only to highway. In private homes to use a gas convector on balloon gas It is possible, provided that the cylinder will be installed on the street in a special metal cabinet.

The number of fuel consumed

Fuel consumption in gas equipment for heating is considered economical. To calculate the gas flow rate, basic parameters are accepted:

  • per 1 kW of power will be required 0.11 m 3 gas from the highway;
  • on 1 kW of power, 0.09 m 3 of liquefied gas will be required.

Based on these indicators, you can make calculation. For example, a 4 kW heater (designed for 40 m 2 of the area) spends 0.44 m 3 of gas per hour of work, and per day - 10.56 m 3. But, since the device does not work constantly, then this figure will be significantly less.

Installing convector

Before installing the gas convector, it is necessary to study the requirements and recommendations on the installation, which are described in the instructions for the instruction.

Before mounting the gas convector, you must select a place to place it. According to GOST, the unit must be mounted under the window. The main steps of the installation are described below.

  1. We try the device to the selected place, we are transferred using a roulette space under the holes for the chimney and the gas pipe. In some models, the gas pipe is summarized from below, so it is necessary to leave the place for its eyeliner.
  2. After that, it is necessary to perform the most time-consuming operation - penetration of a large diameter hole in the wall for an exhaust pipe. You can use the perforator and make a hole with a diamond crown. If there are no crowns, then you can break the wall to swing the perforator into the jacking hammer mode (a lot of dust will be formed during the operation of the perforator, so cover all the furniture in advance).
  3. Next, you need to prepare holes for fasteners and score dowels in them.
  4. Now you can connect the pipe to the caloricer and the place of the connection to be treated with sealant (high-temperature).
  5. Raise the machine with the pipe and insert it into the hole in the wall, then fasten the device with self-draws. Since the unit is heavy enough to raise it you will need help. Outdoor heating machine has special legs.
  6. After that, it is necessary to close all the slots between the chimney and the wall with high-temperature sealant or foam.
  7. At the end of the chimney, attach the cap, which prevents the flame to be blown by the wind (the cap and the fastener to it comes in a set with the device) - installation of the gas convector is complete.

Connecting to a highway, as well as the repair of gas equipment, only specialists should produce. If you are going to use a gas convector with a connection from a cylinder, then special permission is not required. But still it is better to make this gas service workers.

In conclusion, we can say that the use of gas convection equipment can be relatively simple and inexpensive solutions to the problem of heating for different types of premises. Attracts the fact that the installation of such equipment does not cause large difficulties (except for connecting the device to the highway).

Today, gas appliances are most often used for equipment of the autonomous heating system in country houses. The cost of natural gas is the lowest compared to all types of fuel. Therefore, gas boilers and received such widespread. But in addition to them, today is quite relevant and the thermal convector of the gas type. Its work is based on convection heating of air for heat supply of the room. It is about this equipment, an article will tell its installation.

Consider the gas convector principle of operation is very simple and based on gas ability to change properties while increasing the temperature level. When the cold air passes through the heat exchanger of the convector device, it heats up, decreases in weight and begins to rise. Next come new portions of air masses. This process is called convection.

The convector can work on liquefied gas and naturally.

To change the power supply of the device, you need to reconfigure the gas valve. Most often, the gas convector is placed under the window. This allows you to make the work of the unit more efficient. Since it is at this place of the room the heat loss most.

Consider the device of the gas convector for heating the dwelling. As a rule, the device consists of such components:

Depending on the device, all devices are divided into two types: Fireplace and parapety. The principle of operation of the canopy type is similar to the work of a conventional stove. Parapete options are safer and eco-friendly. Set them easier. Therefore, it is the widest and used view.

Characteristics of gas convectors

Considering on the heating reviews, it can be said that consumers highly evaluate these instruments. And it is not surprising. After all, gas-type convectors have a lot of positive sides. Of course, like any device, there are a number of minuses, but they are not significant.

The main advantages are:

Of the minuses, you can call the need to obtain permission to install, the gas pipeline must be taken separately to each convector, the dimensions are slightly larger than that of the water radiator. The most important disadvantage is that in the outer wall for mounting it will have to punch rather large holes.

Installing a gas convector

The installation of a gas type convector is very simple on its own. But before switching to the installation process, it is important to choose a suitable model of the device. On sale there are both domestic inexpensive options and foreign, the cost of which is higher. The most important thing is that the product is high-quality and reliable.

Alpine Air Convector

From imported devices, you can call the alpine air convector from the Turkish manufacturer. This is a high-quality series of instruments with a cast iron heat exchanger. The appearance of the aggregate is quite attractive. Heating capacity ranges from 2.5-9 kW. There are products equipped with a fan.

Ekog convector

It is worth noting the Ukrainian gas convector acolog for heating. The manufacturer releases five models with a capacity of 2.3 to 5 kW. The service life is large enough and is 15 years. All models are equipped with Italian security automatic, microflower stall.

When gas equipment is bought, it is necessary to determine the location of its location. It must be suitable for the sizes of the device. Place the convectors are allowed only under the window. For installation, it is necessary to prepare such tools: an electric door, a pipe cutter, a mounting foam, silicone, a wrench, a metal-plastic pipe, a set of screwdrivers, a gas crane, plastic dowels and self-tapping screws.

In fact, install the gas convector with your own hands is completely simple.

When the place is selected, make the output of the coaxial pipe. Using the perforator, a hole with a round crown is cut. It is necessary that the street was a small slope. This will avoid problems in rainy weather.

Dimensions of pipe removal are made taking into account the characteristics of the model. The device is fastened to four dowels to the wall. Studs may come. It all depends on weight. A clearance is formed between the pipe and the wall. It must be filled with a special mounting foam. The gas is supplied by either a flexible gas hose or a rigid pipeline. It is important to check the tightness of the connection. The fan and automation operate from the power grid, which must be tested individually. But you can connect.

Despite the fact that on the heating convectors, gas reviews of all users convenel at such an advantage of these aggregates as simplicity of installation, it is advisable to trust the installation by specialists with a license for such work. This is especially concerned with the connection to the gas pipeline. After all, the safety and durability of the equipment depends on the high-quality installation.

The installation of the gas convector in the wooden house has both pros and cons.

Features of use

First of all, people are worried about the security issue, because the tree is a quickly flammable material, and therefore, when installing such equipment, there exists a fire risks, and the coefficient of positive action in gas converters leaves much to be desired.

On the other hand, the installation process is much easier than hot water filled batteries, for the supply of which the cumbersome heating system will have to be installed.

No rare cases when the initial project of a wooden house did not provide for any heating at all, but during operation the host changed its decision, and the installation of heating devices is required by fact. Many gas convectors may well satisfy such needs, because they are able to work on gas supplied from the cylinder, and not from the highway.

In order to obtain permission to install the gas convector in a wooden house, you need to visit a visit to the gas or fire service, depending on the gas source, but about everything in order.

Requirements for the room

Requirements for gas services to the premises:

  1. The ceilings should be not lower than two and a half meters, which is important, because many wooden houses are built with low ceilings, and it is with the most low-power equipment;
  2. The ventilation channel in diameter should be equal to or exceed 100 mm, the material from which it is made must match the SNiP, and the lower part of the ventilation channel must be lower than the ceiling at least 200 mm;
  3. Lower gaps on interior doors must be at least 25 mm;
  4. In each room there must be windows to be present allowing the room;
  5. The boiler room should be equipped with a door in the adjacent non-residential room, and when installing the boiler with a capacity of over 150 kW, a separate entrance door;
  6. Internally, the boiler room should have at least 7.5 m3 in the amount, to new homes, this requirement has doubled;
  7. Chimney - must be equipped with two walls, its diameter must exceed or equal to the incoming equipment nozzle;
  8. Lighting in the boiler house should be safe, no open light bulbs are allowed for this;
  9. In the case of external wiring, it must be placed in the specialized cable channels;
  10. The system of control of the internal premises should be installed in a wooden house if the boiler is in the basement.

Installation of gas stove and convectors

Conserved convector is prohibited at a distance of less than 4 meters from open sources of fire, including a gas stove. The hose suitable to the convector must have a dielectric insert, this will prevent fire in the event of a closure of wiring in a tree house.

An important factor is to ground the sockets located close to the gas stove and convectors, although in the house of the tree they must be grounded a priori.

There are three types of cladding hoses, which are allowed to gas stove in a wooden house, namely:

  • Rubernotic - its plus is that it does not conduct an electric current, but it is more susceptible to mechanical damage compared to the analogues;
  • Metal sleeve - When using it, a dielectric insertion from the gas stove is inserted into the highway, and otherwise it has the best performance among analogs. In addition, it is recommended by the latest approved standards. His only minus is the price, she bites;
  • Rubber with braid metal - it is able to withstand serious blows, as well as due to the rubber core does not spend current.

When buying a hose, pay attention to the color, on its braid there are characteristic yellow colors used only for marking gas equipment.

When buying a metal sleeve, pay attention to its coverage, some manufacturers focused on other markets, with other standards use yellow isolation, which does not perform their basic functions. Always demand the accompanying documents when buying, and keep them in a safe place.

The main advantages of gas convectors for houses from wood

All the complex nuances that needed to understand, before choosing this equipment dismantled, it remains to list pros of gas convectors for wooden houses:

  • Economy - if the house from the tree is assembled in accordance with the rules and does not have shrinking cleft, then for its heating, a very small amount of gas will be required;
  • The smallest boiler allows you to give the room with a total area of \u200b\u200bup to 350 m3, and this is the size of a huge house, but under the condition of the ceilings at 2.5 meters;
  • There are two-circuit boilers that will supply your house from a tree not only with warmth, but also hot water, the price of them is somewhat higher, however, the pros on the face;
  • To receive heat in the convector, you can use both automatic and manual ignition;
  • Subject to the execution of ventilation standards, natural gas outflow is carried out without difficulty, and the danger of their cluster is not observed.

Gas convector installation process in a tree house

There is nothing easier than consolidating the converter to a wooden wall, for this you will need:

  • Self-tapping screw;
  • Crosshead screwdriver;
  • Fasteners (come complete to the convepor);
  • Building level;
  • Pencil.

To begin, it should be checked at what distance from each other are the loops for which the gas convector is hung. Most often, they are wide enough, which allows you to move it left and right on the attachments, to a distance of about 5 cm.

Measure the distance between the landing centers, for the upper and lower loops it will be the same. Transfer these sizes to the wall, observing the floor height from the floor, most often it ranges from 10 to 20 cm.

Used screws should be long at least 40 mm, it will ensure reliable fixation to the wall in the house from the tree.

In the outlined points, push the screws, and recheck it with the help of a convector, whether the distances coincide, bringing it to the hats of the screws. If so, you can safely fix the hooks to the wooden wall.

When fasteners are fastened, put the level on them and check the tilt relative to the horizon, it can be aligned, weakening one of the mounts and slightly raising it. Now you can hang a gas convector on a tree wall.

Gas liner to convector

Discharge the gas valve in front of the counter.

This process requires special attention, in any room, and even more so when it comes to a wooden house. Here, the main thing is to test all the elements of gas supply correspond to the description of the accompanying documentation.

Ball cranes with yellow marking of handles are screwed at the convector. Before starting, they should be in a closed state. It is necessary to fasten the hose or sleeve to the gas cylinder or highway, be sure to check the presence of the parallery gasket in the hose's cape nut.

The next step is to connect the other end of the hose with a crane installed on the gas convector. Here you should also check if there is a gasket. After you need to clip all the connections with the help keys.

Calculate strength, it is important not to transmit gaskets, otherwise the gas will pass through the damaged parts of the system.

Now you can open gas and cranes at the convector. With the help of the shaving ack, apply the foam solution to all connections. Making sure the absence of leaks can be moved to the first start.

The first start in the house of the tree is made with windows open.

Video: installation of convector on liquefied gas

Gas convectors are not so popular as their electrical counterparts. Gas devices require the presence of a centralized gas supply or a cylinder, as well as not so secure. But gas models are cheaper to use, therefore will become an excellent solution in a country house or dacha, where constant maintenance of heat in the room is not required.

What is a gas convector

It should be immediately noted that the convector is not a type of boilers, it works not only on another principle (it does not heat the coolant, and the air in a certain room), but also has a somewhat different scope. Most often, gas heaters are used in small houses where there is no need for constant heating. They are able to heat only the room where they are installed.

What convector consists of

The design of the device is not too complicated, it includes:

Scheme of a standard gas convector with a fan for forced convection.

  • heat exchanger, which heats air;
  • the programmer is a device for monitoring and maintaining the room temperature;
  • the control panel on which various indicators are located;
  • gas valve for gas supply control;
  • air supply fan on the valve and heat exchanger;
  • a fan that provides forced flow of warm air into the room.

Gas convector - work principle

As can be seen from the scheme, everything is quite simple. The convector plays the role of a gas burner, the cold air under the action of convection comes from below, heats up and exits through the hole above.

The device works quite simply: the principle of operation is based on the occurrence of convection - warm air when heated rises up and lowers cold. Gas models can work as a natural convection method and forced. In the latter case, a special fan is used for air supply.

Advantages and disadvantages

The quality of the device itself, like its work, depend on the price. Choosing a cheap model, you will not save, since the device can serve you less than a year. Repair in the current situation will be unprofiled. Therefore, we consider the advantages and disadvantages based only from high-quality devices. So, the advantages:

  • efficiency and fast heating of the room;
  • simple installation of the gas convector with your own hands;
  • no need to make a heating system (water);
  • low price;
  • in contrast to electrical analogues, gas models do not burn oxygen;
  • fully autonomous operation mode;
  • not tied to electricity (except for convectors with forced circulation);
  • it is possible to connect the heater to the gas cylinder.

But gas convectors are not devoid of flaws:

  • if gas is used from a centralized system, then be sure to get permission to connect the device;
  • it is necessary to pierce the holes in the wall outward where the heater will be attached;
  • considerable dimensions;
  • if you decide to establish several convectors, then gas will have to bring to each of them, and only outside the building.

Choose models with built-in fan. They have greater efficacy than analogs without a fan.

Types of convectors

Devices can be classified by their power, as well as by execution. If everything is clear with the power: choose one that is able to warm the room, then with the types of execution of the case are a little more difficult.

There are two types of heaters:

Wall-mounted models can fit very successfully in the interior.

  1. Outdoor - the devices are installed on the floor, do not require special skills and skills in the installation. Such a convector can heat a fairly large room (even industrial), but has a lot of weight and requires a special basis.
  2. Wall-mounted - more compact models that fit well into the interior of the house. Often the devices are mounted under the window to create a thermal veil from cold air passing through glass. Convectors of this type have a small power, so it is suitable only for heating rooms in houses up to 100 squares.

There is another subtype of heaters - built-in. They can be installed in the floor or wall, not only do not spoil the interior, but they decorate it. By parameters, such models do not differ from the walls. But it is harder to install them, as it is necessary to prepare a niche under the device in advance.

When choosing a convector, it is also worth paying attention to the material of the heat exchanger. The latter can be made of both steel, so from cast iron or copper. Now models with a steel heat exchanger are more common, however, cast-iron have a larger efficiency due to the properties of the alloy, and are also able to serve longer. The only disadvantage is a big weight. Copper analogues are effective and durable, but expensive.

All the convectors under consideration refer to closed. Open also exist, but they charge the air necessary for the combustion of gas, out of the room, and waste falls into general ventilation. Because of these properties, install open-type heaters in residential premises is extremely recommended.

How to install a gas convector

After you have chosen and bought the heater can be moved to the preparation of installation. Take care of the presence of the following tools and materials:

Tools required for the installation of the gas convector.

  • drill and drill set;
  • truboresis;
  • set of wrench and adjustable key;
  • shovel;
  • perforator;
  • screwdriver;
  • sanitary and high temperature silicone;
  • dowels and selflessness;
  • gas crane.

When everything is ready, you need to choose the location of the convector. For proper selection, use GOST. The latter requires the mandatory mounting of the heater under the window. Do not be lazy in the process to try on the device to the selected location, and also make the markup after that. The next stage is the preparation of the premises. The room must be covered, as a large amount of dust appears during the work.

Installation

Technical requirements for mounting the gas convector.

Installation is made according to the following plan:

  1. Determine the hole for the entry of the gas pipe. Do not forget to leave the distance to sum up this pipe and fitting.
  2. By the diameter of the exhaust pipe, you need to drill through a hole in the wall using a perforator. This is the most difficult stage, since the hole is large, so the work will delay in time (depending on the wall and perforator), and a lot of dust will appear.
  3. The next step must be drilled holes for the fastenings of the heater itself and score dowels in them.
  4. Now we connect the exhaust pipe to the convector and make a mix of silicone (able to withstand high temperatures).
  5. The heater itself is fixed by self-drawing on the wall. Here is useful assistance, as the weight of the device is considerable.

Do not forget to close all the holes by foam, so that from there you did not enter the cold air into the room.

Connect to gas

To this stage, we will be extremely serious. If you doubt your skills, it is better to entrust the connection to those skilled in the art.

Installing according to the following scheme:

In accordance with GOST pipe, it is necessary to spend from the street.

  1. If there is a special discharge with carving on the gas pipe, it will facilitate life. You need to simply turn the gas tap for the pipe. But if there is no removal, then it must be done.
  2. Next, move the pipe to the convector. It is better to use metalplastic. Compounding fittings should be perfect.
  3. During the pipe laying through each meter, it must be fixed on special clips. To do this, you also need to drill holes.
  4. To check the connections you need to call a gas service employee.

Do not forget to lubricate fittings and a silicone pipe to ensure maximum sealing system.

Checking performance

Before turning on the instrument, be sure to call the gas service to check the compounds to leak the gas.

After the installation is completed, you must make a trial launch:

  1. First of all, open the gas crane, listen to all joints for possible leaks (you can use soap water or a special device). If leaks are detected, then close the crane and make them eliminate them.
  2. After checking all the jacks, run the convector. During the start, the Press button for a minute so that the gas penetrates the combustion chamber.
  3. After the burner is lit, adjust the operation of the device.

Installing the gas convector in a wooden house does not differ from installation in any other building. Fire hazard elements are inside the convector.

Finally

Although the gas convector is not too popular heating tool, yet it can be said with confidence that it justifies its value and spent on its installation. Such an appliance will be the best option for a country house where you come in winter to rest. The heater is able to warm the air indoors very quickly.He is more economical than its electric fellow, and can also eat from the gas cylinder. Perhaps the only significant disadvantage of the device is that it heats only one room, and not all rooms, as the boiler makes the heating system.

Video

One of the most rational ways to solve the problem of heating in a small residential room is the installation of a gas convector, which is an autonomous heating device. Many are interested in which restrictions on the installation and operation of such heaters are. Is it possible to install them in an urban apartment or a wooden house if the enhanced ventilation of the room is required. These questions and some more, such as a list of works, which can be performed with your own hands when installing the convection heater on gas, will be discussed below.

How the convector on gas works

Any convection heating devices, regardless of the energy used, function according to one principle, therefore the design of them somewhere is similar.

There is a thin-walled metal box, which not only carries a protective function, blocking access to hot compartment, where gas burns, but also directs air flows, sucking the cold masses and producing hot. For this, protective boxes have a lattice design from below and from above, the remaining surface is solid.

Thus, the metal panel closing the "insides" of the gas convector has a relatively low temperature (up to 60-70 ° C), practically without taking part in the heating process. The heating of the room occurs mainly due to air heating when it passes near the hot chip chamber, that is, due to the convection process. The low temperature of the protective panel also carries such advantages:

  • there is no risk of obtaining temperature injury;
  • the possibility of mounting on the wall with most types of finishes;
  • you can install in frame and wooden houses.

Heated air flows rise to the ceiling, pushing down the colder air, which, having reached the floor, as cool, it falls into the cavity of the convector. Thus, in the heated room, a kind of air flow circuit is formed, which ensures uniform warming of even those areas that are located away from the heater.

Internal design of the gas convection device

Under the outer panel, these heaters are hidden:

  • the furnace chamber is simultaneously the heat exchanger;
  • a complex of protective and thermostat automation;
  • coaxial tube, which moves out from heat exchanger-furnaces.

The compartment, where the gas mixed with air is combed, is sealed with chimney, so contact with the internal airspace for good devices is excluded. Thanks to this design of the furnace chamber, additional ventilation is not needed.

Gas exchange occurs on a double tube, which is derived out. Hot combustion products are displayed along the inner section, the air in the furnace falls along the outer perimeter. Because of such a device, the outer wall of the chimney is not heated, so no additional fire-fighting isolation is required, even when a wooden house is in contact with the wall.

The operation of the gas convector is fully automated. With your own hands, you only need to light the spinner using the built-in piezoelectric element and set the desired temperature to rotate the handle to a certain position.

Next, the temperature is maintained automatically in a small range (2-3 ° C), which is turned on / off the gas supply to the main burner. Protective automation overlaps the access of the energy carrier in the furnace in such cases:

  • low gas pressure on the furnace;
  • overlap of access of oxygen into the combustion chamber;
  • mechanical blocking of the exhaust pipe.

Where the installation of the gas convector is preferably

The disadvantage of such heaters is their ability to dash only one isolated room. Heating and two rooms are possible, but only if they are communicated by the non-closing opening (arch, for example). If you need a full heating of three or more individual rooms, installing in each of them one convector. Therefore, if the housing is multi-room, it is preferable to arrange the water heating system.

Gas heater on the balloon gas Convection type device well proven itself under conditions of small-sized housing or some premises of auxiliary type. Therefore, their installation and operation are suitable in:

  • small-sized private houses, including wooden;
  • small apartments;
  • cotton houses;
  • baths.

Also, such equipment is often installed in small commercial premises or offices.

How to make a convector installation

It is not desirable to connect to gas supply to the gas supply, since this process does not tolerate errors, moreover, will lead to sanctions from the gas service. To do this, call the masters from the specialized enterprise serving this area.

The installation of the same device can be made with their own hands, saving on the services of gas workers. Moreover, the process is uncomplicated with the exception of the time-consuming of the preparation of the hole for the chimney.

Before installing, it should be properly defined with the place of installation. Usually they are trying to place it under the window, but it is not necessary. If the windowsill is located low, the product does not enter it, especially since the heater must be at least 20-25 cm from the floor and the same amount to the windowsill. Therefore, it will be fine if the convector fasten the side of the window opening, however, it is not closer to 30 cm to the room angle.

Having calculated the right place, you can proceed to work. If the product is heavy, better installation to do with the assistant:

  • The heater assembled with a coaxial pipe is applied to the place-selected place, and the borders of the hole for the chimney are noted.
  • To improve the exit for the pipe, you will need a perforator with various nozzles. During this work, a lot of dust is formed, which should be foreseen, the most defending the interior items from dusting. In order for the pipe output more accurate, it makes sense at first to twist through holes using a bora in the perimeter, and then then hollow out the extension "blade". If the wall is wooden, you will have to be more complicated. Here the "blade" will not help. You will have to drill skylinks with special drills (feathers), and then cleaned the chisel.
  • When the pipe output is ready, the protective panel is removed and the product is applied close to the wall, the chimney is entered into the prepared hole. Now you need to note the places of fasteners, while controlling the correct position of the coaxial pipe. It must be located strictly horizontally or with a very slight bias up.
  • The convector is fixed to the wall with suitable fasteners (dowels or screws, if the wall is wooden) and the decorative panel is put on.
  • The chimney is set in the correct position (you can spread with choppers), after which the gap between the pipe and the wall is sealed with polyurethane foam.
  • It is put on the pipe and fixed with self-drawing a protective cap (warns the blown of the burner by the wind).
  • After grappling, the foam is cut superfluous, and the perimeter around the chimney is reflected by the corresponding facade design with a finishing material.

That's all installation. The process is essentially not complicated, so if there is a necessary tool available to almost everyone. It remains to invite a specialist for connecting a gas convective heater to gas supply and make the test launch of the instrument into operation. The convector is very convenient for use and is effective in heating, so it does not expect to disappointing his work.
