As an experiment, I decided to try to make sealing rings for this extension of the mixer, as the purchased seals are in recent times more and more disappoint. I thought at all replacing the factory glands on ordinary rings of a suitable diameter, but something could not find them at the nearest auto parts store. You can, of course, in the body of the mixer, increase the diameter of the planting space for the gland, so that the factory seal is more densely on his place and lightened to the foul. But for a start, I decided to try the rings of my own production, just if not rolling, then it is already done by the mixer itself or the scratch.

The idea itself was borrowed in Intea, where a man was dragging the shape for rings in a piece of plexiglass. I decided to use ordinary paraffin for this so that in case of an error, overdo it and start sharpening. Since the rings I need not particularly thick, then pouring the paraffin decided in the usual cover for canning. We celebrate the center on it, for this I just joined it with a magnet on the sponge screws. After that, periodically, including the screwdriver, centered the position of the lid on the sponges to get rid of strong beats. Then on the rotating lid, the marker put the ring label to the village.

We carry out a seer center in the lid, after which the hole is drilled under the appropriate screw. Since the lid tin is thin, then it is better to put the washers under the nut and bolt. Tighten all this stronger.

Clear the screw thread or bolt in the screwdriver and check for possible beats. We do not need special accuracy as we will sharpen on small revolutions. The main thing that the lid plane was strictly perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the screwdriver. For this reason, it is better to use something thick-walled or laying the washers under the nut and bolt.

If everything is within the normal range, then we put the cover on fire and calm the paraffin in it. It should be borne in mind that the paraffin when cooled significantly places. Therefore, the fill thickness of the paraffin should be done almost twice the thickness of the silicone ring we need.

After filled with a paraffin cover, we leave it cool.

Large speeds do not put, as paraffin is easily and quickly processed on small revolutions, moreover, there is less chance to allow an error. If necessary, a knife or some kind of scraper align the plane for future markup. I need to get almost the same ring as the factory, except that a little thicker. Therefore, I decided to push the groove of this size so that the factory ring simply plunges into her flush. We put the old ring on the paraffin, centen it, periodically, including screwdriver.

After that, we carry the dimensions of the rings you need to paraffin, pushing out in size from the circumference, which we shot down earlier.

Five to ten minutes of work and the groove is ready. What is good in paraffin, so this is what it is easily processed, almost a nail can be accurate. But this is his minus, you need to do everything very carefully, as you can easily devil with one awkward movement.

We take out the shape of the drill, after which it neatly fill the groove with silicone, trying to smooth the silicone flush with paraffin. It is better to best be done by a piece of smooth plastic or cardboard, but relatively mild, not to damage the paraffin form. When filling with silicone, we try to avoid the formation of air bubbles.

We are a week, after which I remove the ring.

From the acid silicone, there is some kind of slippery substance on the form. Which is easily washed off in a slightly warm running water with soap. Even touching the form is not necessary, we simply lay soap water from your hands until this fat will no longer shine on the paraffin.

After that, replenish the shape of silicone and dry.

Cut off the excess film and gaskets are ready.

In general, now these rings are waiting for their turn to install into the mixer, as the factory (which recently installed) have not yet been wear out. In addition, there is a time to see what will be with them in a couple of months, since some silicones have a breathtaking property. I thought that the paraffin had little with what dissolve, but still noticed that it would slightly whiten from contact with silicone, possibly some kind of reaction occurs. But it didn't seem to be affected by the shape of the rings, the second ring was the same as the first, nothing was drunk and dissolved. It seems like there are neutral silicones, with them the paraffin is most likely nothing at all. But if you need a lot of gaskets, it is probably better to push the shape in some plastic (plexiglass and so on), then such a form will be more durable and strong.

Cutting rubber or silicone - a nontrivial task, because the question immediately arises - than cutting and how. The use of a laser cutter is not always a suitable solution to the solution. We will try to dispel the myth that such a type of materials is difficult to process and mechanically.

But when processing, it is often possible to encounter a number of problems associated with impaired technology of production, with improper storage, overheating. Porosity appears, the hardness decreases, the strength decreases, the deformation increases.

The efficiency of laser cutting directly depends on the thickness of the material being cut and its flammability. And the thickness of the material, the greater the likelihood of damaging the product, violating it with a geometry with thermal effects, which ultimately spoils the commodity and quality of the product. The construction of the bidet for ordinary toilet is quite simple and accessible to repeat almost any home master.

To verify the correctness of the drilling angle of the holes, the blank is put on the brass tube, voltage is supplied to the solenoid valve, the desired fountain pressure is installed by the valve.

After giving the desired form on the sandpaper, you can start the installation of the bidet system in the toilet.


Removable nozzle design allows you to select the optimal angle and number of holes in it during operation. At the same time, thanks to the rectangular hole in the brass tube, you can drill holes in the nozzle from four sides and turning it to 90 ° to choose the wax mode.

Installation of a bidet in the toilet

To install the proposed bidet structure in the toilet, it is necessary to dismantle the drain bucket. The drain tank is fastened to the toilet platform with two M10 thread bolts. Bolts with dressed on them with rubber gaskets are inserted from the inside of the drain tank, pass through the holes in the toilet seat and below, too, through rubber gaskets, tightened with nuts.

When performing this work, difficulties may arise, if the bolts are made of steel and strongly kept. You need to prepare the fixture kit for replacement in advance. When I installed the toilet, then immediately replaced steel bolts with stilever stins, and nuts, replaced on nuts from Kaprolon. For 12 years of operation, the appearance of fasteners has not changed, and the nuts unscrewed with ease.

After the release of the drain tank from the bolts, you need to remove it from the floor of the toilet. If the flexible hose allows, then you can put a stool next to the toilet and temporarily place the drain tank. The picture opens before the eye, as in the photo below.
