    Auger, auger case, drive

    Go to the working bodies of the Ural snow blower, namely to the screw. It is made of a cut of a small diameter pipe. You can also use any shafts long to 80-850 mm. An important condition is the selection of bearings for the shaft. Such a shaft length is needed to provide a drive to it, which will be located outside the hull.

    Next of the sheet metal with a thickness of 2-3 mm, you need to cut 4 circles with an outer diameter of 300 mm. In these circles, holes with a diameter of 220-230 mm are cut. Next, the existing discs are cut on one side and the disk is stretched at the cut place, forming the similarity of the springs. It is necessary to do this with all 4 blanks.

    Then you need to calculate the center of the shaft, taking into account the segment it, which will be used under the drive. In the center of the shaft to it, it will be necessary to weld two plates with a long 130 mm and a width of 150 mm. They should be parallel to each other. These plates will be blades for snow ejection.

    The harvested screw ribbons are welded on one side to the blades, on the other hand, the struts are attached to the shaft, to which other ends of the ribbons are welded. It is necessary to arrange the ribbons so that their turns on the movement are sent to the center. That is, on both sides of the blades, two ribbons must be located, installed in parallel and their turns sent to the center. Moreover, the whole structure in length should not exceed 700 mm in length, the rest of the shaft will move away under the drive.

    Go to the case. It is made from round sidewalls, which in diameter must exceed the auger by about 50-70 mm. Next, the metal sheet is taken with a thickness of 1-1.5 mm. It is bent around the sidewall circumference, and welded to them, forming a semicircle. In the sidewalls in the center there are holes in which the finished auger is inserted. On the outside, the sidewalls on the shaft are dressed up bearings, pressed to the sidewalls and fixed, while the fault position is centered. To secure bearings to the sidewalls, you can make clips, or simply weld them to the sidewalls by external clips, but then the design will be inseparable.

    Next you need to make a snowstone. It is possible to make it from the segment of an aluminum pipe with a diameter of 150 mm and a length of 100 mm, as well as sheet metal segments of which will need to form a box. The cut of the pipe will be the basis of a snowdow. To install it, the hole is done in the casing of the screw, it is necessary to diameter, located so that it is a little rear from the shnek blades. Inserts a cut of the pipe into the hole and fixes in it with a bolted connection, and the prepared box is connected to the pipe.

    On the segment of the shaft, the driven by the rear asterisk from the specified motorcycles is put on and is fixed on it using welding.

    It remains only to collect together the design. The hull together with the screw is placed on the longitudinal elements of the frame and welded in it. The strength installation is fixed on the crossbar, but so that the leading and led sprockets were located in the same plane. A motorcycle chain will be used for the drive. Its tension is fashionable to implement in two ways: tension by moving the power plant, but for this you need to provide the possibility of longitudinal movement of the motor with the possibility of securing it at any point. You can also implement a tensioned asterisk with a bolted fastening to the auger housing.

    It remains only for the frame to attach the control knob made of both pipes, and to display the throttle control of the engine on the handle.

    Before testing a snow blower, you need to believe all the connections and make sure that the auger rotates easily and does not cling to the elements of the case.
