  3. Durability. With proper care and timely inspection, the metal elacade can serve about ten years and more.

There are some drawbacks. Metal is initially subject to corrosion, therefore, before work, the material must be treated with special impregnations.

Among the main advantages of the wooden overpass can be noted the simplicity of assembly and low cost of materials. It is easy to install it, and if necessary, you can quickly dismantle and remove. You will not need complex specialized equipment, quite ordinary carpentry tools that are in every home. Among the disadvantages of the wooden structure, small durability can be noted, weak resistance to rotting and insects. Partially these problems can be solved by processing with antiseptics, antipirens and insecticides.

Tools and materials

Independent manufacture of wooden or metal overpass requires certain materials and tools. There is no need to purchase complex specialized equipment, it is enough to purchase household power tools that are sold in each store.

What is needed for the construction of a metal overpass

For the manufacture of conventional metal overpass, the following materials and tools will be required:

  1. Metal rolling.
  2. Welding machine with a set of electrodes.
  3. Bulgarian, equipped with several cutting circles.
  4. Pieces of fittings.
  5. Fasteners: bolts, nuts.
  6. Metal paint for final design.

Materials and Tools for Wooden Overap

For the manufacture of the simplest portable wooden overpass, the minimum of materials and tools will be required:

  1. Boards with a thickness of 45-50 millimeters. If more subtle boards are used, additional vertical supports are installed in the center of the overpass.
  2. Two wooden pads.
  3. Two pieces of carboards.
  4. Screws (150-ka), nails (300-ka), screwdrivers, hammer, saw on wood.

Preparation for work and drawing up the drawing

Before making the overpass, it is necessary to conduct a number of measuring work. A mini-flight consists of two independent installations. The width of each of them corresponds to the wheel of the car with a small margin. The gap between the settings is equal to the distance between the wheels of the car. Metal design with your own hands

If the metal loss is planned to be used in several places, or it is necessary only episodically, the design can be made in the collapsible version. This will allow you to quickly assemble it as needed for half an hour.

The assembly of the metal overpass occurs as follows:

  1. The base of Tumba is collected. Billets are cut based on the size of the wheels of the car. Billets can be decomposed on a sheet of chipboard or other smooth surface and fix at an angle of 90 degrees (a regular construction corner can be used to determine the angle). After all the beds, the blanks are welded with each other.

    All parts are connected at right angles.

  2. Collect racks. The height is about half a meter, an angle is about 120 degrees. Fixed, boiled.

  3. The top supports are welded. To do this, the upper corners are connected to the racks, are set at an angle of 90 degrees, boiled.
  4. Finished supports are connected to the base, are displayed at right angles and welded.

    After the assembly, you can additionally go through the main nodes

  5. The deadlock is welded. It is necessary that the car does not leave on and did not turn over. The item is made from the corner 63 * 63 * 5 mm.
  6. Revolutionar colashes are welded to the finished end. To fit the distance between them, you can use the same corner 63 * 63 * 5 mm. The segments of the reinforcement are stacked so that their "Christmas trees" crossed.

    As a template, an ordinary building area with a side of 63 millimeters is used

  7. Assembling ladders (bridges). Billets are cut, fixed with clamps on the corners. Cuts are welded cuts of reinforcement, the distance can be determined by the template corner, the "Christmas tree" crosses. Corners are welded to billets.

    On these bridges, the car will travel to the overpass

  8. Final stage - fit. On the equal terrain, both parts of the overpass are exhibited close to each other. Centers of Tumb are noted, the design is exhibited under the width of the car. The holes are drilled in the trap and couch, after which the elements are connected to each other with bolts. Thanks to the bolted connection, it will be possible to easily disassemble and collect the overpass.

The finished design is deprived of a metal brush, degreases and painted.

Making a wooden mini-overpass

The simplest wooden plaque is assembled from two pairs of wooden bars with a cross section of 20-20 cm. The bars are knocked back pairwise, clipped under the oblique angle. Improved overpass is ready.

Advanced wooden liquefaction is collected from cropping boards that are knocked into a wide "shield pyramid". On one of the sides, a stepped slope for car arrival is formed.

Another option of mini-overpass is collected from four-50mm boards, two pads, cladding and fasteners.


Such a design is used to repair passenger cars. For heavy vehicles it is worth installing a stationary overpass.
