The second part of the piston is a bracket, made from the P-shaped channel with a thickness of 5 mm. In the upper part you need to boil the guide sleeve so that the piston does not hang on the rod. For her perfectly approached the sanitary ward 3/4 inches.

Less reliable are pneumatic machine tools. However, in the inverse situations, any mechanical drive is not always considered optimal. The reason is as follows.

With hot (and, even more so, cold deformation of metals) in most cases it is necessary to face such an unpleasant phenomenon as the inertia of the material (otherwise called another after follow-up). When flexible, for example, it is an elastic spring, and with hot stamping or extrusion - residual voltages that cause curvature after stamping. In this regard, very precisely made patterns are needed. Using them, you have to manually bring the dimensions on the finished part to those that require drawings.

Any external drive increases the deformation speeds. In such conditions, the elastic feasibility increases sharply. Therefore, the electric machine must necessarily include a lower reducer. In turn, the gearbox increases the complexity of the machine. The reasons are as follows:

  • reducer increases the overall dimensions of the design;
  • reducer - the technically complex knot itself, which is worth ordering in a specialized workshop or acquire (home-made gearbox will not differ satisfactory accuracy);
  • the gearbox of any type is significantly reduced by the Machine efficiency, so a more powerful source of energy will be required;
  • reducer will significantly complicate the maintenance of the machine for cold forging or stamping.

For equipment with manual drive, the gearbox is not required, and the elastic feasibility of the deformable material is easily overcome by increasing the contact time of the tool with the processed workpiece. Thus, a manual drive machine will be optimal for these conditions, the construction and production of which all subsequent recommendations will be calculated.

The principle of operation of the screw press is as follows. The source of energy in this case is a massive flywheel in the form of a wheel, on the top of which there are handles. The pulley / wheel rotates on the working shaft of the machine, at the opposite end of which the self-moving resistant or trapezoidal thread is cut. The shaft is connected to this threaded end with a nut, which is fixed in the slider - the actuator mechanism for cold forging. Thus, it turns out a peculiar power transfer "screw-nut", which converts the rotation of the shaft into the translational movement of the slider. To improve the accuracy of the direction, the movement should be performed in special guides of the triangular profile, which are mounted in the steel frame. It is a supporting part of the machine, gives it the necessary rigidity, and is the basis for installing the fixed part of the working tool - the matrix.

    • after a thorough check of actual sizes with drawn, to the side walls of the box, the second pair of guides attach the box, and the slider is mounted in the frame frame;

on the upper end of the pulley / wheels, there are two steel handles for spinning the part. After that, it is attached to the screw (shaft);

  • check the action of the assembled equipment: when the flywheel is spinning, the screw must move freely, without jail, and in the absence of rotation - should not be descended under the action of its own weight.
