Adjustable lags: Anchor for the floor of plywood, do it yourself installation of DNT, bolt and rack on the legs and stiletts. Adjustable floors on lags Materials adjustable floors

It knows that in order to align the floor level in the apartment there are several of the most common ways. And one of them is to use adjustable floors. The use of concrete screed gradually loses its popularity. These works require significant efforts, and also assume the presence of dampness and dirt. Especially for the installation of adjustable floors, it will take a lot less time.

One worker per day can independently put the floors on the square up to 20 square meters. m. Then we will tell more in more detail about the advantages, disadvantages and features of the assembly of adjustable floors.

Design features

To understand what regulated floors should be familiar with their principle of action. Studs rotate around their axis, which allows you to adjust the floor level horizontally. By the same principle, floors work on plates, which are also moved due to rotation. This allows you to set the floor as accurately as possible. You can align the floor horizon almost perfect.

Such structures will not become exhausted under weight or "play". You can install them on any available surfaces. On each floor you can impose several layers of coating (plywood).

Such floors will become an excellent solution for sports halls, clubs, office premises, and so on. Due to the amplification of carrying spills, the load indicator (up to 2 tons per 1 sq. M. m) can be increased. The service life of adjustable floors is up to 15 years.

Features of use

Adjustable floors most often apply:

  • At stations and rooms for server location;
  • Under the final finish in the maximum deadlines;
  • In the houses of new buildings;
  • In houses of old buildings for overhaul or reconstruction;
  • To increase the level of sex for a sufficient level (especially when additional pressure on the main floor is undesirable);
  • When installing multi-level floors;
  • To carry out under the base of the floor of all sorts of communications.

If you need to align or lift the floors to a significant level, the use of adjustable floors will become an excellent solution. After all, it will take a month for laying a concrete screed, while with adjustable floors you can handle over one or two days.

Also, the use of such systems will be useful in homes, where under the floor specially left a distance of up to 15 cm for laying communications or insulation. Not all designs can withstand the load of such a layer of concrete. But the use of adjustable floors will help you raise the coating level up to 20 cm.

You can also successfully, for example, transfer to the plumbing (toilet or bathroom) and hide bulky communications not under a thick layer of solution, but under the floor where they will remain available at any time.

Especially popular use of such systems for country houses or cottages. So you are given the opportunity to hide all communications in one place, where they will be reliably protected from exposure and are available at the earliest.

Pros and cons

As with any such systems, there are also its advantages and disadvantages.

Benefits:

  • One worker can install the adjustable floor during one working day;
  • The system of adjustable floors is lightweight in itself, so it will not be able to additionally put pressure on the main floor;
  • International testing confirm the quality, strength and durability of such systems;
  • Using adjustable floors, you can additionally insulate the room from sound outside;
  • You are given the opportunity to use the floor to hide all communications, which is a plus not only from aesthetic point of view, but also safely collects them in one place;
  • Maximum accuracy when placing horizontal floor level;
  • Various levels that can be used in parallel (up to 20 cm);
  • Materials that are used for manufacture are tested for purity;
  • There is an opportunity to quickly correct the irregularities of the floor, even if there is a 10-15 cm inconsistency;

Such a system is distinguished by durability.

Disadvantages:

  • Over time adjustable. To avoid this, at the installation stage, it is necessary to remove all dust and dirt after drilling holes and clogs of dowels. It is best to use a vacuum cleaner for this. Also thoroughly clean the first surface of the floor before laying the second layer. Controls so that all the dowels and nails are clogged to the end. It will not allow the design to fall out. It is also necessary to take into account that the tree is a natural material that breathes and is able to deform under the influence of moisture or gravity. Over time, the symbols, one way or another, will manifest;
  • If you raise the floor level for a long distance, then when walking on it will be heated. For example, the sound from women's heels will remind a blow to the drum. Installation of additional sound insulation will help correct the situation.

All your work depends on the quality of the materials used. Take their choice with special attention. High-quality bar and plywood will get rid of you from the need to dismantle the floor in the future.

For maximum accuracy when setting the floor level, use a laser level.

Take care to ensure proper ventilation under the floor covering.

Types of adjustable floors

Depending on the type of design, adjustable floors are divided into two groups:

  • plates;
  • lags.

With the help of adjustable plates, you can lift the floor for a distance of no more than 3 cm. This is a bit, but enough to carry out the necessary communications: telephone, internet and so on. You can also pave heat-insulating and sound insulation materials under such floors.

Such structures are sheets of thick plywood (you can use a few of its layers). Special sleeves are inserted into it. The peculiarity of these sleeves is that they already provide a special internal thread. It has an anchor for an adjustable floor, which will serve as a level regulator. Then the whole design is installed on the base and is fixed by dowels.

As already mentioned, the difference between such a system is that the adjustment of the floor level occurs directly through the holes in the stove (from plywood or any other suitable material).

To assemble the floor based on adjustable slabs, it is enough to adhere to our tips:

  • Drill holes in plywood sheet;
  • Then insert the sleeves in them, on which the thread from the inside is pre-screwed;
  • Insert special bolts into the sleeve, which will adjust the plate level;
  • Fix the bolts to the base;
  • Turn the bolts until the ideal flat floor plane do not achieve;
  • After that, the remains of the bolts that look out over the surface of the plates must be cut off with a grinder;
  • The final stage of the assembly will be the laying of the next layer of plywood, which will hide traces of bolts.

Note that when laying a new floor layer, its seams should not coincide with the seams of the previous one, because the design will not be durable.

Adjustable lags for the floor today are the best alternative. When using such a design, the floor will be raised at least 5 cm. This distance can be successfully used to insulate the room from sound or smells, as well as for laying all the basic communications of the apartment or at home.

Such structures are highlighted by simplicity and speed of assembly, as well as reliability and durability. Lag is equipped with special sockets for installing bolts. It is fixed to a special base with a dowel. To change the floor level, it is enough to rotate the bolt in the desired direction. After complete alignment of the plane of the floor, the coating is superimposed on them.

Such floors are often used in the buildings of the new construction of high comfort, in which the gasket of all major communications is made under the floor.

The main advantage of such systems is their robust fixation to a wooden or concrete basis. Other materials can be used as a base. For example, a thread anchor can be installed on concrete slabs, hollow inside, wooden bars with self-tapping screws, as well as brick surfaces with a concrete tie with special mounts or to the wooden floor.

To properly assemble such a design, check out our instructions:

  • In the nest in the lag, special racks (bolts) are installed;
  • Now decompose lags around the perimeter of the room and inside it. Here it is necessary to take into account the required strength of the design to a sacking, which depends on the type of floor coating used. For example, the distance between the lags should be about half a meter. If you use floor tiles, then keep the distance to no more than 30 cm. To ensure the necessary air circulation, step from the walls one centimeter;
  • Then through the holes provided in the lags, drill in the floor for installing bolts. Their depth should not exceed 4 cm;
  • Next, you have to set the floor covering at the required level. Note that the difference in the parties should not exceed 1 mm. To regulate, use a special key that turn bolts;
  • After placing the floor, hammer the protruding parts of the dowels or cut them with a grinder or chisel.

Next, the installation of the floor covering is performed. To begin with, use two layers of waterproof plywood. The first layer is secure with self-tapping screws straight to lags. The following layer of plywood should be installed with a slight deviation from the first so that the joints do not coincide. In the case of using floor tiles, waterproof drywall is better used as the second layer.

To hide the irregularities and gaps between the floor coating and the walls, use the plinth. Specialists in some cases are recommended to establish them after all finishing works.

As you can see, the adjustable floor on the hairpins or on the plates is a rather successful alternative to a conventional concrete tie. Moreover, it is not necessary to have special construction skills to install such a design. It is enough just to be patient and do everything according to the instructions. If you have ever come across the problem of installing such systems, share your comments under this article.

Innovative surface equalization methods are designed to optimize the pace of finishing and reduce labor costs. Pretty young innovation - adjustable floors provide decorates and premises owners a significant amount of technological and consumer benefits. With their help quickly, simply, the preparation of a draft surface is perfect, which does not require professional skills from the artist.

Universal designs of adjustable draft bases are used to arrange the premises of any destination, area, configuration. For old buildings with not very reliable floors, for lightweight country cottages from wood or foam concrete, provided by this technology, the possibility does not load the floor by a multi-meter concrete screed - impeccable option. For new buildings with low ceilings, this is an opportunity not to reduce the height of not too pleased with the womens of the premises.

Advantages of adjustable draft bases

Constructively progressive leveling systems of floors are solid dense flooring with mechanical devices, with which the floor is adjusted in the horizontal plane. The main features of this technology:

  • Floor systems with adjustment devices are mounted in a couple of days.
  • Durable adjustable floors can determine the hands of a person who is first involved in the floor.
  • A useful technological gap that increases insulation qualities remains between the draft surface and overlap. In this space, you can pave communications, supplement the insulation of the laying of a synthetic or mineral insulation.
  • The plane of the floor can be raised to a level up to 20 cm, reduce the power of the alignment layer to 3 cm, you can arrange a multi-level floor with one or more podiums.
  • It is provided with a rigid fastening of the elements of the leveling system to the base of concrete or wood.
  • It is possible to abandon the substrate traditionally used when laying parquet and a number of other types of flooring. This is another economic plus that reduces the cost of the floor is almost half.
  • After completion of pure dry installation of adjustable bases, there is no need to postpone the execution of the finishing finish, such as because of the expectation of a complete rejection of the screed.

According to the assurances of experienced foreign users, adjustable floors will serve faith and truth half a century. The presence of a ventilated cavity will also exclude the likelihood of premature "aging" of overlaps, and during emergency floods the floor will not suffer.

Between lags, you can place an additional layer of insulation

The floors arranged on this technology will not make annoyingly to creak, will not be done to be done, as it happens with obsolete adjustment of the lags by lags, which are made with the help of loose chips or sand.

The progressive systems supplied from abroad and manufactured by domestic enterprises are distinguished by one more important dignity - the affordable price, almost a third of the money invested in the leveling can be saved, abandoning the cement-sand tie.

Imcorrusive aligned surface can be raised to any level.

Two types of adjustable structures

According to constructive features and on the specifics of the application, adjustable floors are divided into two varieties:

1. Systems consisting of dense durable chipboard plates, adjustable in a horizontal plane using special devices from heavy-duty plastic. They are preferred to be installed in new buildings, since the level of alignment with plates raises the floor surface to a minimum height of 3-5 cm. Despite the minor magnitude of the technological space under raised floors, a cable and fine insulating material can be laid.

Adjustable flooring systems, plywood alignment

2. Practical floors by adjustable lagas, the technology of laying which is similar to the standard device of a multilayer pie with bars-lags. The difference consists in solid fixation of the elements to a concrete or wooden basis and in the exact adjustment of horizontals. This type of floor is used to improve apartments in old buildings and housing of high comfort with the planned "underground" laying of communication pipelines and cable.

Adjustable floor installed by lagas

One of the valuable priorities of these leveling structures is a reliable fixation of the entire system to a wooden or concrete basis.

More precisely, the basic materials are firmly attached with threaded, the rotation of which around their own axis makes it possible to increase and reduce the height of the roughing level. Comfortable in installation Adjustable floor supports Fasten:

  • to wooden beams of overlaps using selflessness;
  • to the hollows inside with concrete slabs and to the surface with concrete tie polypropylene dowels, hedgehogs for brick and concrete;
  • to the monolithic base floor from the concrete dowel-nail.

Anchor devices simultaneously perform several functions: they take part of the load, provide adjustment and a durable compound connection with overlapping.

Installation of floors with alignment plywood

A distinctive feature of this technological option is that the bolts are inserted directly into the holes drilled in the flooring-plywood, in the CSP plate or in the gypsum fiber sheet. Here is the order of work:

  • from the back, the sleeves are inserted into the drilled holes, on the inner surface of which the thread is laid, the step between the holes depends on the alleged load;
  • then in the holes with sleeves, they screw the bolts made from a durable polymer;
  • the assembled element is installed on the overlap;
  • the bolt is fixed to the base basis;
  • with the help of rotation of the rack bolts around the axis, the horizontal plane is aligned;
  • towering over the surface of the remains of the bolts are cut;
  • the next laying of the next layer is fixed.

The butt seams between the plates of the first layer of flooring should not coincide with the location of the seams of the second layer.

Installing floors with adjustable lags

Both types of leveling systems produces DNT: adjustable floors supplied by it to the market are successful. In the list of producer products, you can select a ready-made system for any project height, regardless of the type of base and material selected for finishing.

The leveling systems manufactured with lags rise and are lowered by rotating bolts-racks.

  • anchor bolts made of heavy-duty polymer screwed into the threaded holes in the lags;
  • lags with a step depending on the design characteristics of the floor are mounted on overlap;
  • through each anchor, a hole in a wooden beam is drilled or in a concrete array, a dowel-nail or self-tapping screw is clogged into the resulting hole;
  • lags align, exitting their position by the level gauge or laser device;
  • the surplus of plastic bolts are cut off, the bed flooring is laid on top.

The configuration of the structures prepared for the installation is selected depending on the strength characteristics of the planned to lay the flooring, from the distance between the lags and the cross section of the bar, from the power of the floor.

Installation of adjustable lag for floor laying

Independent manufacture of regulating anchor

In principle, knowing the structural features, both leveling systems can be made personally. After all, in a construction store, you can purchase all the components: Flooring - Tolstaya Phaneur, GWL, chipboard; Lags - ordinary wooden timber. It will be problematic to buy only polymer bolts with major threads. However, you can make an anchor for an adjustable floor with your own hands.

To make an analogue of an adjusting device, the master will be required:

  • scoring anchor;
  • hairpin;
  • two nuts and washers;
  • metal plate.

The stud will perform the function of the supporting bolt, which is attached to the base surface through the scoring anchor. The bars support will serve a metal plate attached to the heel with a bolt and the pair of it nuts. This nut will be adjusted. Another nut with a bolt is needed to fix timber from above. In order for the upper nut to subsequently interfere with the laying of the finishing material, the grooves make in the lag. The excess hairpin is cut after alignment.

By analogy, you can make an adjusting device personally

The leveling adjustable system purchased in the construction store made in the construction store will significantly reduce the repair budget or finishing in the new building. Fast clean stying will provide the opportunity to exclude wet dirty and pretty expensive processes.

The problem of base equalization is always relevant when laying modern finish coatings. Effective methods are somewhat, one of them is a horsepower adjustable floor. This design consists of wooden lags, fixed on the supports, on top of fitting flooring, for example, plywood. Such a system allows you to align the surface with high accuracy. This method is very simple, so make adjustable floors with your own hands forces to everyone.

Types of adjustable floors

Constructively distinguish between two types by alignment mechanism: on studs and adjustable plywood. The first option implies the use of beams to which flooring is installed. In turn, the lags are fixed on studs that allow you to adjust the floor level. The second method involves fastening the coating directly to the regulation mechanism without intermediate elements.

Fig.1.

The flooring device by lags is used when it is necessary to align and raise its level to height from 5 to 20 cm, for example, it is relevant for the balcony and loggia, when the height difference can reach 15 cm and more. In case you only need to create a smooth surface, it is advisable to make a choice in favor of the option without beams.

As the main supports, plastic rack bolts, ancker for adjustable floor, metal studs, corners, etc., can be used.

Advantages and disadvantages

Adjustable floors were invented as an analogue of a cement-sand tie. They possess almost all of its properties and have a number of advantages of not peculiar to it.

  • The absence of a water-based solution eliminates leakage, long drying, makes it possible to perform work at low temperatures. Adjustable floor in the apartment is used as an alternative to a cement screed.
  • After assembly, you can immediately lay the floor covering.
  • Falsefol always has underground space. It can contain communication (water supply, heating, electrical wiring, etc.), heat insulation and sound insulation are arranged.
  • The design has low weight and can be operated in rooms with low bearing overlap, such as loggia, balcony, etc.
  • The plywood floor on the lags is perfectly suitable for laying various heating options. Together with them, water and electrical systems of all kinds can be applied.
  • The adjustable floor is durable and durable, any floor covering can be stacked on it.
  • Its cost is small thanks to the use of inexpensive materials and components.
  • Installation of plywood on the floor is very simple. You can make the flooring with your own hands from traditional building materials.

A rough adjustable floor is poorly tolerated in high humidity. Therefore, it is not recommended to arrange in bathrooms and bathrooms. This circumstance is probably the only drawback.

Where and when you can apply

Given the features of the design, the advantages of the shortcomings can be concluded that this type of floors is advisable to apply when:

  • It is necessary to align the surface and significantly increase its level, and the base does not allow you to arrange a thick layer of the screed. Level lifting height can reach 20 cm.
  • Under the falsefol, it is necessary to pave communications, for example, heating pipes.
  • It is necessary to make thermal insulation or sound insulation.
  • The design of the room provides zones with different floors.

Adjustable floors on plastic bolts

You can purchase a ready-made kit. These are floors on the new technology so-called DNT. The kit includes plastic bolts - supports for lags and fasteners. Using this set to collect the coating is very simple.

Fig.9.

For mounting in bars, holes are made in 50 cm increments and cut the threads under adjustable screw supports. After that, the bolt is screwed into the bar. Next, the beams are parallel to each other with a pitch of 40 - 50 cm and directly through the bolt drilled the hole at the base and the anchor is fixed by it.

Fig.10.

Rotating plastic supports seek the desired location of the beams. The protruding part of the bolt cut down the chisel. Thus, the installation of lag for the floor is carried out.

The principle of installation of adjustable plywood is similar to the previous method. In it with a step of 50 cm, the holes are drilled and the flange is fixed coaxially. It has a thread, so the plastic bolt can calmly move up and down, thereby setting the required level of flooring. To the base of the support, a dowel is attached - a nail.

Fig.11.

DNT is an excellent way. However, with all the advantages, there is still one drawback - not in all regions it can be purchased. Therefore, an anchor for an adjustable floor is often used, which can be bought at any construction store.

Adjustable floors on anchors

In this form, an adjustable support is applied based on a wedge anchor. The floor bar is used with a cross section of 50x50 mm. Lag fasteners consists of an anchor, two nuts and two washers.

At the base of the floor, holes are drilled in 50 cm increments and anchor is fixed. They screw the nuts and dress the washers.

Fig.12.

In the bars make holes with a step of 50 cm. In each of them, it is performed in a diameter of 20-25 mm with a diameter of 20-25 mm and a depth of 10 mm for installing the upper nut and the washers in tight so that they do not interfere with the flooring. Next, sex lags are dressed on an anchor. Thus, a nut with a washer is from the bottom. Rotating the nut can adjust the positions of the beams. The upper nut is necessary for reliable fixation.

After installing and securing all the beams, the protruding parts of the studs are cut by a grinder or handcraft for metal.

Fig.13.

By a similar scheme, the adjustable phaneur is set. The difference in the installation technology is that before the flooring, all the support nuts are pre-installed for one required level.

Fig.14.

Floor options

Materials for the adjustable floor device can be different. Traditionally, sheet materials are used such as plywood, fiberboard, CSP, GVL, OSB, etc. The choice in favor of this or that option depends on the type of finishing flooring and operating conditions.

Usually, plywood is used as a flooring. It is well suitable for laying linoleum or laminate. A two-layer option can be used, while the thickness of the sheet material should be at least 12 mm or the one-layer then the sheets are used at least 20 mm. The last method is used for the system without lag.

Fig.15.

With a two-layer flooring, the layers are fixed with a displacement of at least a third of the length of the sheet, thus rigidity increases.

If a tile is planned as an outdoor coating, the flooring can be made of GVL or CSP or analogs. This is due to the fact that these materials are not afraid of humidity and have high rigidity.

Fig.16.

If a wooden floor covering is assumed, a tank board is placed directly on the lags. Her stealth across the bars and fix with self-drawing through the spool. So that the eurodosk does not play and the design was tough, the thickness of the flooring should be chosen from 30 mm.

Fig.17.

Adjustable Floor Floors

It often happens that to purchase the necessary components described above is difficult. In this case, the bracket for lag can be made on the basis of spills or metal corners. The rest of the technology is the same as in traditional ways.

Adjustable floor on studs

Installation of logs on the concrete floor is performed using a scoring brass anchor, studs, two nuts and two washers. So makes the simplest support with your own hands. The stud is used with a diameter of 8 mm. The remaining elements are selected by the appropriate size.

Fig.18.

In the floor drilled hole and install an anchor. It is screwed into it. They screw the nut and dress the washer. The upper nut serves to fix the bar. After the final installation of the lag protruding the part of the support is cut.

Installation of anchors is the most difficult part of the installation of the adjustable floor on the heels. The slab overlap is a hollow, and the anchor may fall into its cavity, so it is not necessary to plunge hard in the overlap.

Adjustable floor on corners

Corners are used as an adjustable support, they are attached to a dowel with nails or self-drawing. The size of the corners are chosen depending on the level of flooring, but not less than 50x50 mm.

On the installation line of the lag in 50 cm increments, metal corners are fixed. They are attached to the bars at the same time exposing them to the required level. It is convenient to perform this job together.

Fig.19.

In order for the design to be the most rigid corners are installed on both sides of the bar.

Adjustable floors with warm floors

All types of warm floors can be applied, the laying scheme of which depends on the finishing coating.

The most versatile water warm floors. They are installed under the flooring of the raised floor on top of the heat insulator. In this case, any decorative coating can be applied.

Fig.20.

Similarly, you can enroll with a warm floor based on an electrical heating cable. This approach is well suitable for any flooring. However, if a ceramic tile is planned, the more efficient operation of the warm floor will be achieved if the heating cable is put under the tile on top of the flooring.

Warm floor based on infrared heating elements is otherwise performed. In the case of laying a laminate, the film is stele directly under it.

Fig.21.

In the case of ceramic tiles or linoleum, the heating element is placed between plywood or OSB layers.

We looked at several options for the device adjustable floors. From an economic point of view, this is the most successful version of the hairpins. From the point of view of ease of execution - in the corners. The method on bolts is a compromise of high accuracy and ease of installation, however, the cost of the installation kit is high enough. Regardless of which falsefield you choose this technology will significantly reduce the repair time, and as a result you will receive an even, durable and reliable base suitable for laying any decorative coating.

Adjustable floor - black floor in the form of lag or plywood flooring

As a rule, the flooring in residential premises is placed on a concrete tie and lags. A relatively new option is the design of the draft floor in the form of a lag or plywood flooringwhose height can be adjusted using special blocks-racks. This solution received a completely understandable name - adjustable floor.

Technology of adjustable floors It assumes the use of wooden lags or plates (sheets of moisture-resistant plywood 18 mm), which are relying on the bolts screwed in them, made, as a rule, from high-strength plastic. The turn of the bolts around the axis changes the height of the lag or sheets, which allows you to accurately align the draft floor. After leveling the design, the bolt is hard to fix to the base of the dowel-nail. At the same time, the base can be both concrete (monolithic, empty, with a screed) and wooden (beam). On top of the lag, the sheets of moisture-resistant plywood are usually placed on top of them and the floor covering of any type is fixed - a massive board, parquet, parquet board, laminate, linoleum, carpet, etc. In order to save, massive boards are sometimes mounted directly on the lags.

Advantages of the system of adjustable floors

Such adjustable structures have a whole number of advantages. First of all, they have advantages over concrete alignment.

  • They are cost cheaper concrete screed When aligning the surface with a drop in a height of more than 3-5 cm.
  • There is no need to mess with cement.
  • Installation of adjustable floors it is much faster Pouring a concrete screed.

In addition, they allow you to save money and time with the base of the base under household flooring (parquet, parquet board, laminate), because concrete preparation in this case will include not only the screed, but also by the self-leveling mixture.

You should also not forget about the need to create on top of the waterproofing screed (and often sound insulation) and a layer of plywood, which will be laid on a wooden coating. In the aggregate, the costs of such training will be higher than the cost of installing the adjustable design.

Another important point: Installation of adjustable supports usually lasts less than a week, since one worker mounts an average of 20-25 m² adjustable lags or plates per day. A completely different situation with a base of a concrete screed: For conducting parquet works, its strength should be at least 150 kg / cm², and such a strength of the screed acquires within 28 days. However, this time interval is not enough to start laying parquet or board.

Note that European norms require to dry the screed to 3-4%. It is mistaken to assume that it dries up to such a level in 28 days: this process lasts longer than the curing process, and usually takes several months.

In the design of adjustable supports there is no direct contact of the wooden elements with the base of the floor, and, therefore, laying over the concrete overlap of the lags, and then the phaneer and parquet can, without waiting for the complete drying of the concrete. In the case of overlapping with high humidity, a polyethylene film that cuts off the water vapor is littered, after which the installation of lags or stoves immediately begin.

Finally, the adjustable floor design involves the possibility air movement under the floor Thereby removal of excess water vapors that can lead to warming and rotting of wood. The influx and exhaust air is carried out due to the gaps between the floor and the wall of the room (between the plinth attached to the wall and the floor also has a gap). The standard value of this gap is 10 mm. If you need to improve the ventilation of the space under the draft floor, you can be installed in the floor in the opposite corners of the room decorative lattices for an additional tributary and air exhaust.

Another advantage of adjustable designs - they Improve the soundproofing of the room: Paul is not monolithic, but contains in its "pie" an air layer. If necessary, increase the level of sound or thermal insulation of the floor (for example, in the home cinema or basement), you can pave plates from mineral wool between lags. In addition, the noise is damping plastic racks.

The plates of the adjustable floor are laid on metal plates fixed on lags. The thickness of the insulating layer can be varied, and there is usually no contact between the plates and concrete base (the air clearance is separated), so in the case of high humidity overlap, the insulation will remain dry.

The next moment: height adjustable floors allowed engineering communications under floor covering (pipes with a diameter of up to 100 mm) and any wiring. Moreover, communication will be held in the shortest path, therefore there will be less connecting nodes, therefore, the reliability of the system will increase, and its installation cost, on the contrary, will decrease.

In adjustable floors on lags or plywood stoves, there are obvious advantages over concrete alignment, if it is not about an abstract "concrete screed", but about the base under parquet, parquet board or laminate, which includes a layer, layer and layer. Adjustable structures are cheaper than this base, especially when it is necessary to level the floor with strong differences in height.

In addition, gaining strength for 28 days, while the installation of the adjustable floor takes usually from 2-3 days before the week. In addition, under the adjustable floor, engineering communications and wiring can be paved, and, if necessary, plates of heat and sound insulation. However, in itself, such a floor increases the soundproofing of the room at the expense of an airbag between floor-coating and overlapping, as well as through the use of plastic string bolts.

Problems and disadvantages of adjustable floors

One of the problems arising from the operation of the wooden floor - creak. Is there any likelihood of its appearance in floors on adjustable lags or stoves? Experts argue that with high-quality installation, the screensing system will not. It may occur with a loose fit of the elements of the floor to each other, for example, with improperly attaching bolts to the base or improper formation of gaps between the end joints of the lag and plywood. However, with qualified installation, all elements of the system are so rigidly fixed on the basis and interconnected, that even a small drying of the wood, according to experts, will not be wrapped with a grain creaking.

However, the appearance of the knock in the floorIf the concrete base on which lagows are based on errors: for example, if the screed, applied to the overlap, crumble or cracks. Then it is recommended to remove a bad screed before installing the floor, as well as correctly select the model of the dowel-nail to attach the bolt to the base.

Poor-quality cleaning from dust during installation of adjustable structures leads to the dust particles in the gaps, which can lead to the appearance of a viper in the floor.

We add that the maximum allowable pressure on adjustable structures can reach 3 T per 1 m², which corresponds to the large stock of the floor strength. The estimated service life is at least 50 years.

Another possible (not all of it even notice) the shortcomings of the regulated floors can be called a kind of hum, when moving on them, especially if the shoes with a high heel or sole is very tough. This is especially evident, if you jump on such a floor.

Installation of adjustable floors

If you need to lift the floor to 50 mm and more, install design adjustable Lag.. And if the required lifting height is from 30 to 50 mm, used system adjustable plates (plywood).

The system of adjustable lag (adjustable floor on lags).

When installing the floor, the concrete overlap is most often used by lags with a cross section of 45 x 45 mm and a length of 2 or 3 m. Their standard pitch - 300 mm between the axes of bars. When laying the floor on the overlap of wooden beams, larger sections are usually required, its magnitude is selected taking into account the beam step (as a rule, lags with a cross section of 45 x 70 mm) are used). You can also vary the step of the lag. For each lag accounts for 5 bolts-racks with a diameter of 28 mm, which in factory conditions prepared threaded holes.

The length of the bolts is usually 100 or 150 mm: it is chosen depending on what height you need to lift the floor. The installation of the design begins with the fact that the bolts are screwed into the lags, then the lags are unfolded on the base with the desired step and the holes for the dowel-nails are outlined. Moreover, between the lags and the walls, leave the gap of about 10 mm.

First, the bolts are screwed into the lags, after which they are unfolded on the basis, outlawing, and then drilling holes for dowel-nails

Lag alignment is carried out using a level and hexagon key

After that, it is started to align the lag due to the rotation of the bolts by a hexagon key (the bolts have a hexagonal flow), using the level.

Adjusting the height of plastic bolts is carried out using a special hex key

Having completed alignment, the dowels are clogged until it stops in the base, and the protruding part of the plastic bolt is cut into the chisel flush.

After alignment, the lag dowels are clogged until it stops

Then mounted plywood flooring. According to the recommendations of system manufacturers, the thickness of the flooring should be at least 18 mm. However, many experts recommend to make flooring up to 30 mm thick with a step of 300 mm under parquet and a massive board.

As a rule, two layers of plywood sheets are stacked (overlapping the top sheet of the two below) to ensure maximum stiffness of the structure. As a rule, layers of plywood fasten with self-draws, but specialists are increasingly recommended in addition to this, be sure to glue the top layer to the bottom. Outdoor coating on top of plywood.

We add that other adjustable designs are found on the market. In particular, the systems where metal rack bolts (anchors) are used, and the adjustment takes place with the nut with the support washer screwed on them.

There are also systems with P-shaped metal brackets that "clamp" from the sides of the lag and are fixed on it with self-draws. The bracket provides a range of holes, and after alignment, the screws are screwed into suitable in the height of the opening.

The reliability of the floor design on adjustable lags is achieved due to the right selection of the section and the step of the lag in combination with a thickness of the draft floor, as well as due to high-quality installation. In the standard situation, the step of a lag with a cross section of 45 x 45 mm should be 300 mm with a thickness of the black floor of 30 mm (usually two layers of plywood with thickness of sheets 18 and 12 mm). Plywood layers should be sampled among themselves to achieve maximum stiffness of the design.

There is an exception: in the case of using a parquet board, fixable to the base with glue, it is sufficient to lay one layer of 18 mm plywood, because this board and plywood has the same temperature expansion, and the stiffness of the structure does not cause doubt. The cross section and step lag change, as a rule, when the floor is placed over the overlap of wooden beams. The distance between the beams can be quite large (1m or more), so it is necessary to either increase the cross section of the lag, or put lags with a smaller step and increase the thickness of the two-layer flooring - from plywood or combinations of a tank board and plywood.

The price of components for the structures of the adjustable floor from 400 rubles per m². Set for mounting adjustable floor from plywood

The system of adjustable slabs (adjustable floor of plywood).

Installation technology of adjustable floor from plywood is somewhat different. A hole is drilled in a plywood in which a plastic sleeve is inserted with a diameter of 60 mm, having a threaded hole. The sleeve is fixed on the lag or plywood self-drawing. Then the bolt-rack is screwed into the sleeve, after which the entire cycle of the above works are performed.

Technology device of the system adjustable plates (plywood):

1. drill holes in plywood and fixation by self-drawers of plastic sleeves;
2. Screwing bolts-racks in the sleeve
3. Fastening bolts-racks with metal dowel-nails to the base

Adjustable support for Lag is one of the most simple methods of alignment of the draft floor. Thanks to this technology, you can avoid "wet" works conjugate with the pouring screed. This allows you to lay the finish coating on the draft floor immediately after installing the wooden crate of the lag and chipboard. The article will consider the main types of supports suitable for adjusting the height of outdoor beams, as well as the features of their use.

Constructive features of adjustable lag

For alignment of the draft floor, not only ties, but also lags on adjustable supports began to be used. What is the principle of operation of this design? Anchor devices with a screw mechanism are attached to the base material that can be adjusted in height. After that, the floor beams are exhibited so as to achieve the maximum horizontal of a wooden crate.

During the alignment of floors, various designs and support materials can be used. They can be attached to such types of foundations:

  • wooden beams;
  • concrete plates;
  • cement ties;
  • monolith from reinforced concrete.

Installing such systems with their own hands is undesirable, since it implies the exact adjustment of the height beams. This effect can be achieved only with professional devices. The unevenness of the floor leads to a violation of the geometry of the finishing coating, which is fraught with its deformation.

Advantages of adjustable floors

Compared to other methods of alignment of floors, lags that can be varied in height, have a number of advantages, namely:

  • This technology eliminates the need for "wet" technical processors associated with the fill of self-samonneliers and cement-sand ties;
  • Wooden structures weigh smaller in comparison with concrete tie, therefore, they can be installed on the grounds with a low bearing capacity;
  • After the preparation of floors on this technology on a draft basis, you can put almost any kind of finishing coating;
  • The space under lags, formed by the helix anchors, provides sufficient floor ventilation, which prevents condensate accumulation;
  • Installation of adjustable supports with your own hands is performed during just a few days. While any cement screed dries at least 3 weeks;
  • The space under the floor can be used to lay the necessary communications;
  • In the process of alignment of floors, the base level can be raised by 15-20 cm if necessary;
  • Stacking finish materials can be made without installing any additional substrates;
  • The air layer under lags provides an additional heat and waterproofing of the base.

Types of adjustable designs

During the arrangement of the floor, you can use several different designs with adjustable lags. Each of them has its advantages and disadvantages. The most sought-after "jack" systems can be attributed:

  1. Set of plastic racks with carvings and fasteners for concrete. In this case, the thread in which hollow racks is inserted in the beams. If necessary, they can be screwed into the desired depth;
  2. A set of fasteners to concrete and plastic bushings. Unlike the previous construction, ready-made sleeves with internal, not external threads, which are additionally fixed with self-draws are mounted in through holes in the beams;
  3. Set of lag, bushings and rack bolts. In this system, the bolts have through cone-shaped bolts, which are inserted into the screws or other fasteners for a secure connection with concrete.

To buy a high-quality kit, first of all, you need to check the quality of the supports themselves. The thread on them should be smooth without any damage. Otherwise, it will not be possible to set the necessary height of the lag, which is fraught with skews.

Plastic metal supports

The arrangement of the draft floor with the help of "jack" systems involves the use of special thread supports. Conditionally divided into two large categories:

  • Metal. It is made of galvanized steel, therefore practically not subject to corrosion. Such anchor devices are able to withstand very large loads and therefore are used in the arrangement of commercial premises. The only but significant drawback of such supports is "assistance" in the destruction of the concrete basis. Metal pins with time "dug" in the base, which leads to its cracking;
  • Plastic. Unlike metal racks less durable, but absolutely not exposed to moisture. In the case of the installation of rack bolts with a small step can withstand the loads of more than 300 kg per m 2 coatings. Plastic supports practically do not create loads on concrete floors and therefore do not contribute to their destruction.

Types of supports by type of construction

What types of racks for floor alignment with lag is best used? With the arrangement of "jar" wooden crates, various types of anchor devices can be used, namely:

  • Studs. In the process of finishing the draft floor to the base, studs with threads are attached. Two adjustable "plates" are fixed on them, between which the beam is located. Rotating the bottom plate, you can adjust the height beam, and the upper is fixed to give the design of greater stiffness;
  • Corners. Metal P-shaped profiles are initially fixed by the base down on concrete overlap. Each side of the corner contains two or three rows of through holes located apart with a small step. After setting the desired level of lags are fixed in the corners at the desired height;
  • Racks with automatic height adjustment. Plastic automatic regulation racks have a jack mechanism. Thanks to them, it is possible to carry out the automatic correction of lags in height with a bias from 0 to 5 degrees.

Prices for professional supports

Manufacturers offer a mass of different designs of regulating racks. And it is not always clear, in connection with which the price of a particular model of support is formed when visually some of them are very similar. To buy really high-quality anchor devices, consider the differences between the products of the budget and professional series:

  1. Budget supports. The price of screw anchors of this series varies from 1 to 3 dollars per piece. The low cost is due not to the best quality of the material from which the rack bolts are made, as well as their short-life;
  2. Professional supports. Visually professional screw racks are similar to budget, but they are made of special plastic. It has thermo- and frost resistance, as well as greater durability. Some of them are equipped with a self-regulating system, so far the laying procedure takes a minimum of time. The price of professional supports ranges from 4 to 8 dollars apiece.

How to make screw supports?

For the arrangement of floors using adjustable beams, it is not necessary to buy expensive rack bolts. Knowing some of the characteristics of the system that were considered above, it will not be easy to make such devices and independently. To build anchors with adjustment, you will need:

  • nuts;
  • metal plates;
  • studs;
  • clogged anchor;
  • washers.

Assembling screw support for floor alignment:

  1. First of all, it is necessary to secure the metal plate on the heel using a powerful bolt and suitable in size of the nut;
  2. With the help of the nut, the height beams will be adjusted in the future;
  3. After adjusting the lags, they are fixed with another nut;
  4. So that the upper nut does not interfere in the process of laying the finishing coating, the grooves are made on wooden beams for its complete disguise.
