Installing the jigsaw on the table. How to make a jigsaw table with your own hands? How to fix a manual jigsaw on a table

An electric jigsaw is a tool, without which it is simply impossible to perform many work on wood processing and the materials in which it is used. Possessing compactness and low weight, the hand-held portable jigsaw is capable of cutting out products of very complex geometry from the workpiece.

The jigsaw is very convenient in work and, moreover, it provides a very precise and thin cut... If you don't want to spend money on a purchased jigsaw, you can make it yourself at home.

Lightest product

The jigsaw table itself can be made with your own hands in a short space of an hour. The advantage of the manufactured structure will be its simplicity. It can be easily mounted on a tabletop or workbench and, if necessary, it is also easy to disassemble. The disadvantage of a homemade design can be considered its small area.

The simplest product consists of the following parts:

  1. Plywood.
  2. Mounting screws.
  3. Clamps.

The working basis of the machine can be laminated plywood, in which it is necessary to drill holes for installing fasteners and for the file itself. Plywood must be at least 10 millimeters thick. However, you may also need to make holes for the mounting screws in the sole of your power tool.

Homemade design can be attached to the workbench with clamps... Please note that the heads of the screws for fastening must be recessed into the surface of the sheet so that they do not interfere with you during operation. Such a machine can easily cope with the processing of small workpieces up to 30 millimeters thick. A drawing of this type of machine can be easily found on the Internet, and then assemble it with your own hands at home.

Another variant

This option consists of the following parts:

  1. Chipboard frame.
  2. Vacuum cleaner tube.
  3. Film faced plywood for the cover of the machine.
  4. Confirms.

There is a second option for a stationary device for working with wood material, which is assembled from a larger number of spare parts, but it will not be difficult to make it. The frame is made of chipboard and consists of a rear wall and two sidewalls. To make it easy to get to the power button, the front wall of the machine is absent.

Do it yourself in the back wall drill holes for vacuum cleaner tube and cord. The cover for the machine can be made of 10 mm thick film faced plywood. The whole structure can be pulled together by confirmation. The jigsaw can be fixed in the same way as described above, in the first case.

On a machine made according to this option, it is possible to process more massive workpieces, however, when working with a thick workpiece, the jigsaw saw can go in both directions and be deflected back. In this case, the accuracy of the cut deteriorates. This drawback can be easily eliminated with your own hands by installing a bracket on a homemade machine that will serve as an emphasis.

The jigsaw will move. between two 11mm bearings, which must be screwed to the L-shaped strip made of steel. The back of the saw will rest against the wall of the bracket itself. This design will prevent the blade of your jigsaw from deviating from the specified trajectory.

The bracket must be attached to the frame, made of 50x50 mm bars. It can be lowered or raised depending on the length and thickness of the wood to be treated. To do this, the frame itself, together with the emphasis, must not be fixed tightly to the sidewall of the machine, but pressed against it with a hardboard, steel or textolite plate. We install the vertical frame of the frame between the hardboard and the bed.

The machine can be more convenient if you mount an additional limit bar on it, with which you can cut material into workpieces of the same length and thickness.

The limiter is attached to the machine with clamps. His made of wooden beams, aluminum or steel angle. For convenience, you can also install the bar on a slide, which must be fixed to the sides or bottom of the tabletop.

Chipboard jigsaw table

To make this jigsaw table, you must have a certain carpentry skill, since when connecting its tsars with legs, it must be made into a tenon-groove. The spike-groove itself can be changed to a connection using dowels, wood glue and self-tapping screws.

The cover of the machine must be made lifting, to facilitate access to the tool when changing it. In order for the machine to be multifunctional, it is necessary to provide a place for mounting a manual milling machine.

The table is assembled from the following materials:

  • bar 80 by 80 millimeters;
  • bar 40 by 80 millimeters;
  • laminated plywood or chipboard with dimensions of 900 by 900 millimeters.

Measure the distance between the legs, it should be between 60 and 70 centimeters. Bars for projectiles and tsars will be obtained if the bars are cut longitudinally 80 by 80 millimeters. You can choose the height of the legs themselves at your discretion, it all depends on how comfortable it will be for you to perform work on the machine.

At each end of the prodges and tsars, it is necessary to drill two holes for the dowels. The same holes must be made on the sidewalls of the legs. Coat the dowels with glue half their length and insert into the ends. After that, assemble the entire frame. It will turn out to be non-separable. After checking and possible corrections, it shrinks tightly.

All surfaces in the contact points must be grease with glue... Use self-tapping screws for additional strength of the structure, which must be screwed through the holes prepared in advance for them.

The lid must be attached to one of the drawers with hinges; for this, a slot must be made in it to facilitate the removal and installation of the jigsaw. In the countertop from the back, you need to screw two strips with a pre-selected quarter, into which the sole of the power tool should enter.

Holes must be made in the strips, in which bolts or pressure screws must then be installed. A jigsaw attached under the tabletop will be able to cut thicker material if a recess is made in the lid for its sole. The easiest way to perform this indentation is using a milling machine.

As a result, the table will turn out to be very simple and spacious, so the necessary strength of its lid can be provided by a large thickness of chipboard or plywood. Use sheets 20 mm or more thick.

Jigsaw machine using thin saws

Since when cutting difficult patterns in plywood, the jigsaw saw is not very suitable for this, you need to take a thin nail file. It can be attached to a hand held power tool using the original attachment.

We also attach the jigsaw to the tabletop, but a thin file must be pulled, since it will not be enough just set on a pendulum... To facilitate the process of stretching the file, it is necessary to make a rocker from a bar.

The tension on your blade is provided by a spring. Put its lower loop on the cross hairpin. The upper hinge must be inserted into the adjusting screw, which changes the tension of the damper. All wooden blanks for a homemade machine tool are made of hardwood.

Since there is no possibility of attaching a thin section blade in a jigsaw machine, you can remake a fragment of an old saw by first drilling a hole in it and completing it with a screw with nut and clamping plate.

A vertical slot must be made in the rocker arm, into which a second steel plate must be inserted. It is attached to the rocker with screws. Attaching the upper part of the file to it must be done in the same way as the lower one. To make it easier for you, you can use an old jigsaw to make a plate.

Compact and relatively mobile sawing tool, it has earned a reputation as a practical device used around the world. A universal jigsaw capable of performing straight and curved cuts, including at an angle. Possessing impressive capabilities, this device could become the leader in multipurpose applications. Unfortunately, certain design features made it more of a narrowly focused instrument, but good potential.

Of the minuses of working with a jigsaw, one can single out rather inconvenient carrying out of an accurate, straight cut. The main reason for this disadvantage is the thin saw blade, which easily changes its direction during sawing. The second reason lies in the structure itself, which looses over time and significantly reduces the evenness of the cut. Fortunately, these flaws can be ignored if you have special tools for a jigsaw that you can do yourself. Next, we will tell you how to make a special table and stop for maximum accurate sawing with your tool.

Jigsaw table

To make working with a jigsaw more comfortable and the cutting line smoother, numerous craftsmen combine it with a small stand, turning this symbiosis into a convenient mini-workbench. The jigsaw is installed in the table from the bottom side, so that the file is directed upward, passing through a specially prepared hole. The start button of the tool is fixed, and the operator calmly cuts the workpiece, controlling it with both hands. This attachment allows you to cut more accurately and is great for convenient work with large volumes of material.

Making an elementary table for a jigsaw with your own hands is quite simple, both for an experienced craftsman and a beginner. Any more or less suitable materials that you can work with are suitable for assembly. If you only have a saw and a screwdriver, make from chipboard or thick plywood. Owners of grinders and welding machines can afford to make a mini-workbench out of metal sheets and tubes. Such a device can even be made of plastic, if there is a way to securely fix this material. As an illustrative example, we will give a guide to assembling a small table from thick plywood.

To assemble a simple table for a jigsaw with your own hands, drawings are generally not required, since everyone chooses the dimensions of such a product individually. As an illustrative example, we will give a photo of a fairly miniature box with an indication of the dimensions of all its sides. Based on this data, you can estimate and select the optimal aspect ratio for your future product.

The parts are connected using ordinary self-tapping screws screwed into the edges of the tabletop walls. If the material used does not have a varnished coating, PVA glue can be used to enhance fixation. Such a structure will be stronger, but it will not be possible to disassemble it.

Advice. Before screwing the finished surface to the base, mark and drill a hole in it for the file in advance. Next, on the opposite side, attach the sole of the jigsaw, make marks in its grooves for fixing, and then drill. It is more convenient to perform such manipulations on a clean surface, which will only have to be screwed to the walls.

As a basis, you can use a workbench or another, more or less suitable piece of furniture. The author of the following video made a table for working with a jigsaw from an old bedside table, installing a switch and a dust extractor in it.

Jigsaw attachment

Placing a jigsaw on a table makes it much easier to cut thin materials, but cutting accuracy drops when it comes to thick pieces. Due to the flexible structure of the saw blade, when it turns in a large block of wood, the end of the saw bends and lags behind the central part. In this case, getting an exact 90-degree angle will not work. At least, without a special tool for a jigsaw holding the file strictly perpendicular to the surface.

To cut material with a thickness of more than 3 cm, without fear of beveled edges, it is enough to adapt a simple device to your mini-machine. The essence of the element is to fix the end of the file between two freely rotating rollers. To make such a device for a jigsaw with your own hands, you will need the following materials:
  • Bracket for fastening metal structures (as pictured)
  • Pair of bearings: 11 mm radius
  • Bar: 600x40x40
  • Thick plywood or chipboard square: 100x100
  • Mounting angle: 2 pcs
  • Bolts with washers and nuts for fastening to the table and installing the bracket: 5 pcs
  • Screws with washers and nuts for fixing the bearings: 2 pcs
  • Wood glue
By instrument:
  • Drill with a set of drills for wood and metal
First of all, we will outline the main nuances in the manufacture of the saw stop itself. To do this, you need a suitable metal bracket, as in the photo below. You can find one in a specialized fastener store or try your luck at the nearest construction market. If the search was unsuccessful, this element can be replaced with any L-shaped metal plate against which the edge of the saw blade can be resting.

We measure and drill 2 holes for the bearing screws. Their location should be equidistant from each other, at a distance equal to the thickness of the jigsaw file.

Having finished with the design of the stop, we proceed to the assembly and installation of the lever. To do this, we make 2 pieces of timber of the required length, and connect them at an angle of 90 ° using PVA glue and metal corners. We combine the resulting structure with a bearing guide and press it against the side wall of the table with a plate on 4 screws. A similar fastening technique allows you to change the height of the lever, for working with massive materials.

This completes the assembly guide for the jigsaw table with the saw holder. The assembled device is a neat and very compact mini-workbench for easy cutting of materials of various thicknesses. We hope that the author's product will become a visual example for you, or at least give you a couple of ideas for assembling your own table.

Jigsaw table

Such a multifaceted tool as the forehead has several varieties, the simplest of which is the manual type of device. This elementary tool, not burdened with an electric drive and complex assemblies, is intended for accurate figured cutting of workpieces of small thickness. The speed of work depends on the physical parameters and the convenience of the workplace. To facilitate the sawing process, it is recommended to build a special sawing table for the jigsaw, the drawing of which is located below. This simple device will save energy and significantly increase work efficiency.

You can assemble a jigsaw table from a variety of materials: plywood, chipboard, wood, laminate, metal, and even plastic. If absolutely nothing suitable is available, and the desired segment must be purchased, then in this case, plywood will be the most easily accessible and convenient to process. To manufacture a full-fledged product, the following components are required:
  • Plywood (or something similar): 260x200x10
  • Clamp
  • Countersunk self-tapping screws: 4 pcs
By instrument:
  • Saw (hacksaw or jigsaw)
  • Drill or screwdriver with a set of drills
  • Ruler
  • Sandpaper or file
The process of making a sawing table is extremely simple. We transfer the contours of the product from the drawing to the workpiece and cut out 2 main parts, as in the photo below. The main thing here is to take into account the thickness of the upper part of your clamp so that it does not stick out. If necessary, the surface can be built up by sawing out one more top element.

An electric jigsaw is an extremely useful tool, without which many operations in the processing of wood and materials based on it are simply impossible to imagine today. Having a relatively small weight and compactness, a hand jigsaw allows you to cut out products of a rather complex configuration from workpieces, but nevertheless, it would sometimes be more convenient to use a stationary tool. It is often more convenient for them to work, moreover, the machine provides a more accurate cut. True, such a machine costs several times more than a manual jigsaw. Anyone who does not want to spend extra money on this equipment can make a jigsaw table with their own hands and get an inexpensive and effective hybrid of a hand tool and a machine tool as a result.

Figure 1. Schematic of a jigsaw table.

The simplest device

Some kind of jigsaw table can be made in a few minutes. The advantage of this design lies in its simplicity. It can be easily attached to a workbench or tabletop and, if necessary, can be simply disassembled. The disadvantage is its small area.

The working surface of the machine will be laminated plywood, in which holes are drilled for a file and for installing fasteners. The thickness of the plywood must not be less than 10 mm. You may also have to prepare holes for the fastening screws in the sole of the power tool. The structure is attached to the workbench with clamps. The heads of the fastening screws must be flush with the plane of the sheet. Such a machine can easily cope with cutting small workpieces up to 30 mm thick. What the device looks like is shown in Figure 1.

Second option

Another stationary woodworking fixture has more parts, but it is also easy to make. The base of the table consists of 2 sides and a back wall made of chipboard. The machine does not have a front wall for easy access to the button. In the back wall, holes are drilled for the cord and tube of the vacuum cleaner. The cover of the machine is made of 10 mm laminated plywood. The whole structure is pulled together by confirmations. The jigsaw is attached in the same way as in the first case.

Figure 2. Scheme of a frame-stop for a jigsaw.

On a homemade machine, you can cut larger workpieces, however, when working with thick wood, the jigsaw file can tilt back and in both directions. This degrades the accuracy of the cut. The disadvantage is eliminated by installing a bracket-stop on a homemade machine (Figure No. 2). The jigsaw blade will move between 2 x 11mm bearings, which are screwed to the L-shaped steel strip. The back of the file will rest on the wall of the bracket. This design will not allow the jigsaw blade to deviate from a given plane.

The bracket is attached to a frame made of 50 x 50 mm birch blocks. It can be raised or lowered depending on the thickness of the material being cut and the length of the file. For this, the frame with an emphasis is not firmly attached to the sidewall of the machine, but is pressed against it with a steel, hardboard or textolite plate. The vertical post of the birch frame is located between the bed and hardboard, into which 4 clamping bolts are inserted.

The area of the countertop depends on the size of the workpieces you are going to work with.

The machine can be made more perfect by installing a limit bar on it, which will help cut wood into pieces of the same thickness.

The stopper can be attached to the machine with clamps. It is made from a wooden block, steel or aluminum corner. If desired, the plank can be installed on skids fixed at the bottom or on the sides of the tabletop. You can make 2 parallel slots in the tabletop, along which the rail will move. Holes are drilled in it. Studs or screws with wing nuts are passed through them and the slots. Roulette tapes are attached from the ends of the tabletop.

Table made of bars and chipboard

Figure 3. Scheme of a countertop for a jigsaw.

The manufacture of this table requires certain carpentry skills, since the connection of its drawers with the legs is performed in a thorn-groove. However, dowels, wood glue and self-tapping screws can be used instead. The cover of the machine will be lifting to provide easier access to the tool when removing it. Figure # 3 shows what the countertop looks like. If desired, it can provide a place for installing a manual milling machine, then the machine will become multifunctional.

The table is made from:

  • bars 80 x 80 mm;
  • bars 40 x 80 mm;
  • Chipboard or laminated plywood 900 x 900 mm.

The distance between the legs can be between 600 and 700 mm. Bars for tsars and prongs are obtained after longitudinal sawing of beams 80 x 80. You can choose the height of the legs yourself, based on how convenient it will be to work on the machine. At each end of the tsars and prongs, 2 holes are drilled for dowels. Corresponding holes are made on the sides of the legs. The dowels are coated with glue half the length and inserted into the ends. After that, the frame is assembled roughly. After correcting possible shortcomings, it shrinks completely. All contact surfaces are greased with glue prior to assembly. Self-tapping screws, which are screwed in through holes prepared for them, will give additional strength to the structure.

The cover is attached to one of the side bars on hinges; for this, a slot is made in it to facilitate the installation and removal of the jigsaw. To the back of the tabletop, screw 2 strips with the selected quarter, into which the sole of the power tool will enter. Holes are made in the strips into which the clamping screws or bolts will be installed. A jigsaw fixed under the countertop will be able to process thicker workpieces if a recess is made for its sole in the lid. The easiest way to make it is with a milling machine. The table turned out to be quite spacious, so a large thickness of plywood or chipboard can provide sufficient strength to its lid. Use 20mm or thicker sheets.

Wood products and people engaged in the manufacture of modern household items from such a modern and environmentally friendly material appear more and more every year. Every craftsman working with fine details should have a circulating table available. But not everyone can afford such an expensive pleasure.

Circular table diagram.

You can make a professional circular table from an ordinary wooden table and a jigsaw, which every wood craftsman has.

What does a jigsaw circular look like and what is inside it?

A jigsaw machine is useful not only for an experienced wood specialist, but also for an ordinary person who loves to make things with his own hands. Having such a table at hand, you can easily cut out a complex curvilinear contour without violating its integrity. A do-it-yourself circular from a jigsaw will cope with drywall and plastic as easily as with chipboard, fiberboard and plywood.

The use of such a table has become popular in furniture and music production due to the ability to cut complex parts. The saw, brought out to the working surface of the table, has a crank mechanism and an electric motor, which are located at the bottom. The mechanism for tensioning the saw can be located not only at the bottom, but also on top of the working surface.

Assembly diagram for the front of the table.

There are certain features of working with a circular table. For correct processing of the part, it must be placed on the surface of the table and, turning the saw at different angles, make a cut. The circular with a swivel mechanism and guide stops is very convenient and easy to use. The length of the cut to be carried out directly depends on the length of the table. The power of the motor installed on a machine for small production or amateur use in a garage is sufficient in the range of 100-150 watts.

An important thing for a circular table is the availability of a high-quality crank mechanism capable of ensuring the movement of the saw.

Usually, jigsaw machines on sale use mechanisms with a working range of motion of 3-5 cm and a vibration frequency of 1000 per minute. The speed control allows you to work with different materials and make cuts with a depth of 10 cm. Saws for such machines are used in different sizes, depending on the required cutting thickness. The maximum length of the installed saws is 35 cm.

With the help of coil and spring springs, the required dust tension along the entire length is easily achieved. If this is not done, the nail file will break easily, despite its thickness and width. Almost all models are equipped with a compressor for air cleaning of the work surface. For a surcharge, you can take a machine with an installed block for drilling holes, which greatly facilitates the work of the master. With such a pre-installed unit, you no longer have to be distracted by the search for a drill: everything can be done on one table.

How to make a machine from an ordinary jigsaw with your own hands?

Scheme of work on a circular table.

There are many options for do-it-yourself circular tables from a jigsaw. Before starting the manufacture of such a table, it is recommended to look through examples of the work of other masters and decide on the functions that your device should own. There is no need to make a serious modernization of the jigsaw, it will easily cope with the role of the crank mechanism and the main drive.

For a faster installation of a professional table, you can contact the manufacturers and order a ready-made platform. But such platforms are standard and not suitable for everyone. No one but you can assemble a table for your needs.

First you need to take care of the table itself. It is better to make it reliable and durable from metal. On the surface, you need to make an oblong hole for the saw. It is recommended to make the holes for the jigsaw fasteners hidden at the bottom of the table itself.

If you plan to use a homemade circular table often, it is better to install stops and guide rails on the work surface for faster and more comfortable work.

In order not to be distracted from work when you need to make a hole, it is better to equip the table with a drilling unit. With proper installation, this design allows you to disconnect the jigsaw from the table at any moment and use it for its intended purpose.

If you very often use a jigsaw in manual mode, then it is better to get another copy for the table. Otherwise, you will constantly have to spend efforts on removal and installation. The cost of a high-quality jigsaw is not so high, so a professional table will come out much cheaper than a factory one.

The only drawback of the made jigsaw machine is the lack of a tension spring. Because of this, the homemade unit is significantly limited in cutting curved lines. But such a problem is solved quite simply, you just need to make a rocker, attached on one side to the file and on the other to the tension springs.

There is another way to solve the saw tension problem with 2 idler rollers. But the first method is much more reliable, so it is not advised to invent something new. Before using your new circulating table, be sure to turn off the swing motion of your jigsaw.

Do not be afraid to experiment, and your professional jigsaw table will be several times better and cheaper than one bought in a store. A factory-built table will never be so comfortable because it is made for everyone, not your personal needs. And, in order to save yourself from unnecessary expenses for redoing a purchased item, do not be afraid to make your own. After all, what is done by hand will never let you down and will be convenient during operation and repair.

A jigsaw is an electromechanical tool that is used to cut materials from wood, fiberboard, chipboard, plastic and even thin metal.

Work with the use of a jigsaw is carried out, holding it in hand, they are cut according to a drawing previously outlined on the workpiece. Anyone who has ever done this work knows that it is almost impossible to perform a perfectly even cut in this way. It is more convenient and more efficient to do this work with a jigsaw on a special table, which is quite capable of making with your own hands.

You can buy a frame for an electric jigsaw in hardware stores or order on the Internet, but making it yourself will be much cheaper, and this table will definitely be more practical, since you will make it, taking into account the dimensions you need.

The dimensions of the future table largely depend on the dimensions of the parts that will be manufactured, and on the usable area of the room where it will be installed.

First you need to draw a sketch of the future table. You can do it yourself or download the drawing from the website on the Internet. The finished drawing will indicate the dimensions and materials used in the manufacture of the tooling.

We present one of the options for drawing a table for working on it with an electric jigsaw

Having a drawing, you need to prepare tools and supplies to start work on making a jigsaw table.

Attention! For more accurate production of parts of the same size, add two perpendicular cuts to the bed with a length of 25 cm to the bed and strengthen the guide stop.

Let's prepare such a tool:

screwdriver or drill; electric jigsaw; wood drills (3.5, 6, 8, 10 mm); hammer; chisel; tape measure; level; sandpaper.

Material for making the model:

    USB plate (18 mm); wooden beam (120 x 25 x 400 and 60 x 40 x 1400); wood screws (4 x 45) 35 pcs.; Bolts 8 x 30 (for attaching the jigsaw to the bed), 8 x 60 (for attaching the bracket to the bed), 8 x 80 (for attaching the hacksaw blade guide), 8 x 30 (for mounting bearings); nuts - 10 pcs.; washers - 10 pcs.; bearings - 2 pcs.; aluminum corners 25 x 25 x 80 - 2 pcs.

Work on the manufacture of parts of the table and its assembly

Making a table box for those who are a little familiar with carpentry will not be difficult.

From the USB sheet with an electric jigsaw, according to the sketch drawn on the sheet, cut out the parts for making the bed. We assemble the box according to the drawing. Holes are drilled for fastening the jigsaw and the output of the hacksaw blade. An electric jigsaw is installed. The center is measured along the blade, and a bracket guide is attached to the side of the box. The bracket stem, as shown in the figure, has not holes for fastening, but slots to change its height in accordance with the length of the blade used.

Let us consider in more detail the manufacture of a bracket for a hacksaw cutting guide:

We make a knee (vertical lever), which is attached to a guide with slots to move the bracket in height and select the upper part to connect the second part of the part. The horizontal lever consists of a bar with a spike at one end for connection with a vertical lever and a guide block for centering the hacksaw blade We connect all the parts into a block and make a clear fit of the tooling so that the movement of the cutting blade has a free easy move.

Important! We do not neglect the installation of a protective block with plexiglass, since it is a fence in case of unauthorized loss of the web during the operation of the mechanism and excludes injury.

The assembled jigsaw workbench is tested in work with various materials. In case of revealing any flaws in the design, they are eliminated.

To perform a cut of material with different density and viscosity, certain canvases are used for each type. In addition, the optimal tool speed is selected to avoid overheating of the blade.

To do this, we make 2 pieces of timber of the required length, and connect them at an angle of 90 ° using PVA glue and metal corners. We combine the resulting structure with a bearing guide and press it against the side wall of the table with a plate on 4 screws.

This mounting technique allows you to change the height of the arm to work with massive materials. At this, the assembly guide for the jigsaw table with the saw holder is considered complete. The assembled device is a neat and very compact mini-workbench for easy cutting of materials of various thicknesses. We hope that the author's product will become a visual example for you, or at least give you a couple of ideas for assembling your own table.

A table for cutting with a jigsaw Such a multifaceted tool as a forehead has several varieties, the simplest of which is a manual type of device.

To make a full-fledged product, you will need the following components: Plywood (or something similar): 260x200x10 Clamp Self-tapping screws with countersunk head: 4 pcs By tools: Saw (hacksaw or jigsaw) Drill or screwdriver with a set of drills Ruler Sandpaper or file The process of making a sawing table is extremely simple. We transfer the contours of the product from the drawing to the workpiece and cut out 2 main parts, as in the photo below.

The main thing here is to take into account the thickness of the upper part of your clamp so that it does not stick out. If necessary, the surface can be built up by sawing out one more top element. The prepared parts are connected with self-tapping screws or glued into a single, monolithic structure.

The edges are cleaned with a file or sandpaper and the finished device is attached to the table. There are quite a few alternative options for the manufacture of such devices, differing in size and fastening methods. One of these rather interesting designs is demonstrated in the following video.
