"Primroses".

The snow melted under the first rays,
It's as if black tea was spilled here,
The trees quietly shook their branches,
And you can hear the birds singing - just paradise...
But you should take a closer look,
Among the withered leaves and grass,
The first ray of leaves has emerged
Spring primrose - the harbinger of spring...

He extended his arms to the sun.
He is not afraid of cold weather and winter blizzards,
But he is one of a thousand pearls in a dress

The beauties of spring that everyone is waiting for...

It may not be great, but it’s still beautiful
Is he small and fragile? - no problem,
Our spring hero - your feat is not in vain
You give us warmth - you give us yourself...
(Elena Snezhnaya)

Teacher: Bright and clear days have arrived. Nature, having awakened from its winter sleep and has not yet had time to truly straighten its shoulders, is full of that inescapable charm that only happens in spring. Spring... What is the beauty of spring nature?

(Children reason: in the fresh greenery of budding trees, in the tender, silky grass, in the arrival of birds, in the gentle sun, in the first flowers.)

Primroses. (Lesson topic, slide No. 1).

Teacher: In the first flowers... Here they are in front of you. (Illustrations of primroses on the board). Humanity knows and remembers daredevils who dared to challenge the invincible forces of nature at their own risk. They crossed the oceans and discovered the poles of the planets. They were called THE GOING AHEAD. In nature, primroses took on this role. What do people call the first flowers? Why?

Snowdrop. (Slide No. 3).

The first to get out of the earth

On a thawed patch,

He is not afraid of frost

Even if it's small. (Snowdrop)

The Latin name of the flower “galactus” comes from the Greek words “gala” (milk) and “actus” (flower), that is, a milky white flower. An ancient legend says. When Adam and Eve were expelled from Paradise, it was snowing and Eve was very cold. She was shaking. And then a few snowflakes decided to please her. They united and turned into flowers. This is how snowdrops appeared on the earth. This flower symbolizes hope.

Name a fairy tale in which all the events happened because of this primrose? (S.Ya. Marshak “12 months”)

What color do you think snowdrops are?

The guys in the Caucasus will be surprised: “Isn’t the snowdrop blue! The snowdrop is white." Residents of the Far East will object: “The snowdrop is not white, but purple.” “The most beautiful snowdrop is pink,” argues someone who has been to Seliger.

So what color is this flower? Different regions have their own snowdrops: blue, white, pink, burgundy, purple. Different places in our country have their first flowers of early spring. Snowdrops in the north are called coppices. Usually the copses are blue, light blue, and sometimes pink. White snowdrops bloom in the Caucasus in January. And how beautiful is the azure snowdrop near Moscow! This is a tiny bell on a thin stem.(Slide No. 4).

The song "Snowdrop" is performed.(Zhikhareva N).

Coltsfoot. (Slide No. 5).

Mystery. In the heat of the day it grows out from under the snow,
Welcomes spring before everyone else?

Just a cloud came

round lumps.

In some places there is still snow, and where the sun warms up on the outskirts of the fields, along the banks of ravines and rivers, in early April, golden mother and stepmother baskets appear. The mother and stepmother are famous for their nectar; the bees carry the first bribe to the hive from her. The spring sun warmed up, and round gold coins scattered on the thawed patches. This welcomes spring coltsfoot.

Why did the flower get this name? (children's answers).

Yes, because the lower part of the leaf is covered with thick white hairs. If you stroke it with your hand, you will feel softness and warmth. It’s like your mother caressed you. And the upper part of the leaf is smooth, cold, like the touch of a stern stepmother.

Coltsfoot is often confused with dandelion, but dandelion blooms later. Coltsfoot is a pioneer plant; it populates free spaces, for example, after a fire.

Anemone. (Slide No. 6).

This is a plant of the buttercup family.! They mean the beginning of real spring! The flowering time (late April - early May) coincides with windy weather, and the thin stem sways even in a light breeze, hence its scientific name "anemone", from the Greek "anemo-s", which means wind.

Raised on thin stalks, anemones are visible in a light forest from afar.

All parts of the flower are poisonous. The first flowers attract many, but do not collect large bouquets, do not impoverish the beauty of the spring forest. After all, it blooms only for 10-12 years and does not bloom for long, about a week, until the plant puts on leaves.

Anemone buttercup

But under the bushes of friendly families you can see the flowers of anemone buttercup. At the top of each stem, a bright yellow corolla shines like a little sun. Anemone flowers quickly fade and in their place small fruits form, collected in a small fluffy ball. You will never find a single anemone somewhere in an open meadow or field. This plant is inextricably linked with woody vegetation. As forests are cut down, anemones also disappear. But where the forest has settled, this plant will probably be found. It feels great in the forest.

If you dig up the ground around the anemones, you will see rhizomes going in different directions. Each group of anemones usually consists of the offspring of one plant. The rhizome serves as its reproductive organ. It branches, grows at one end, and gradually dies off at the other. The result is several individual plants.

Lungwort. (Slide No. 7).

Yellow goose onion. Liverwort (copse).

(Slide No. 8). (Slide No. 9).

Goose onion You can meet him in the city. They grow in large groups. In the spring palette, chives flowers make up the yellow part of the spectrum. Modest small flowers glow like stars among the sparse bristles of young green grass. Like the corydalis, goose onions begin to prepare their flowers while still under the snow. The snow also lies in the shade, and in the hot sunshine the flowers of goose onions are already sparkling and pleasing to the eye..

liverwort Snowdrop is a perennial plant of the Ranunculaceae family. In early spring, blue (occasionally pink) single flowers appear on long, hairy stalks. The leaves are three-lobed, bare, last year's leaves are characteristically spotted; young leaves appear after flowering. At first they are pubescent, then become glossy. The Russian name “liverwort” is just a translated scientific name, although the leaf of the plant is shaped like a liver.

It grows in the forest zone of the European part of Russia, growing scatteredly, in places abundantly, in damp forests, especially under hazel. Blooms in April. The seeds fall while still green and ripen on the ground. Ants scatter through the forest because the seeds have a sweet tubercle that attracts insects.

The liverwort is becoming rare and therefore needs protection.

The corydalis is dense. (Slide number 10).

A little later, corydalis bloom in the forest. In some places there are so many of them that even snowdrops don’t have enough space. They all look alike. Everyone really likes corydalis because of the abundance of shades of flowers, from intense purple to white. It is very interesting to collect them, finding more and more new colors! White and blue corydalis. They are clearly different. But in the forest, every flower is special, you can find millions of shades! Among the lilac corydalis there are bright red ones. Here it is, nature-magician! Decorated the forest with a flower carpet.

Spring adonis. Adonis. (Slide No. 11).

Another primrose grows in our region - Adonis Amur. The scientific name of this flower is given by the name of the ancient Roman god. The myth about the beautiful young man Adonis says that he had no equal in beauty among the gods. The golden-haired beauty, the goddess of love Aphrodite, fell in love with him. One day, while hunting a wild boar, Adonis was mortally wounded. Aphrodite was very sad about him. In memory of her lover, she grew a beautiful flower from a drop of Adonis’ blood. The king of the underworld, the kingdom of the dead, Hades saw the inconsolable grief of Aphrodite. He took pity on her and began to let Adonis go to earth for six months. With the first rays of the spring sun, nature comes to life and a golden flower - adonis - blooms on the ground. Adonis Amur is popularly called adonis, golden flower. You can only see it on a clear sunny day, as its flowers close in cloudy weather.

Daurian lumbago or dream - grass. (Slide No. 12).

Daurian lumbago or dream - grass, decorates the slopes, banks and embankments, railways. It is otherwise called “beaver” because it is completely covered with silvery fluff. Why is the plant called dream grass? According to legends, this spring flower is capable of inducing dreams.

Sleep-grass - where does this name come from? They say that if you chew the root of a lumbago, you will fall into a deep and long sleep. This is a legend, but there is probably some truth in it. Saponins and poisonous alkaloids were found in the roots of the lumbago, which, depending on the dose, have either a stimulating or a calming effect. Back in 1876, botanist P.O. Krylov wrote that in the Perm province, medicinal raw materials from lumbago are used by the local population to treat alcoholism.

There is another version of the origin of the name “sleep-grass”. At night and before rain, its peduncle bends, the flower droops, covering its core from excess moisture.

Every year you can see blooming lumbago less and less often. This plant reproduces mainly by seeds, but large beautiful flowers attract people, especially in early spring, when the “flower” hunger is acutely felt...

Situation: during an excursion to the forest, the children saw a lumbago (dream grass). Gena wanted to pick it and bring it to class, and Ira suggested digging it up and planting it in the school plot. The guys argued for a long time, but never decided who was right. Which one do you think is right? (Nobody). Lumbago or sleep-grass is a rare plant. It cannot be picked up or replanted. In the fall, you can collect the seeds and plant them in a dark place.

Viper bow. (Slide No. 13)

An inconspicuous plant of forest edges and clearings, with a delicate aroma. It blooms at the end of spring and coincides with the emergence of grass snakes and vipers after hibernation. This is where the name of this flower comes from. The flowers are collected in clusters of 10-30 inflorescences. The plant has long been considered decorative and cultivated. Many decorative forms have been developed.

Fixing the material.

Relaxation.

Judge the heroes of the fairy tale: “How the plants argued.”

The candle lights up
The fairy tale begins.

At the same time draw on the board.

It was a very nice spring day; the sun was shining so gently, as if it was smiling. The breeze was light and warm. And I couldn’t believe that spring had just begun. ON one of the thawed patches, primroses began to squabble.

“The most wonderful plant is me,” said the coltsfoot. - Because I'm the bravest! I bloomed before everyone else - on the first thawed patches.

Just think,” the lungwort objected. - I bloomed a little later, but how I bloomed! Look: I have red flowers, some purple ones, some blue ones. And what a scent I have! I smell like honey. All the bees simply adore me!

“I found something to brag about,” the anemone entered the conversation. But I am the most tender. Every breeze makes me sway. And I’m not colorful like you, but soft blue, like the spring sky, they even call me a snowdrop, probably because I’m tender, my stem is thin and thin:

Ha ha ha! - Kandyk laughed. “They call you a snowdrop because you grow from under the snow, and not because you are so tender.” Look at me. How strong, shiny, washed, how fresh, healthy I am, and there are freckles on my leaves, and the stem ends underground in a strong bulb. No, no, don’t argue, the most wonderful plant is me!

And then a man appeared. He heard the plants arguing and smiled.

Yes, he said, you, mother and stepmother, are the bravest. And you, lungwort, are colorful and honey-bearing. You, anemone, are the most tender, and you, kandyk, are the most washed and fresh. But you are all wonderful! You are all wonderful! And everything, without exception, is dearer to us, people.

Then the man sighed and said sadly: “It’s just a pity that every year there are fewer and fewer of you.” How can we save you? How can I help you?

Primroses are not only beautiful flowers, but also medicinal. The leaves and flowers of coltsfoot are used for coughs and for gargling. Drops for the heart are made from lily of the valley. Adonis is widely used in China, Korea,

Japan as a folk remedy for nervous, kidney, and cardiovascular diseases.

5. Working with the slide: “The Red Book.” ( Slides No. 14 – 16).

The Red Book is a book of alarm, a book of warning.

The Red Book says: “Do not destroy, do not tear, do not trample.” These words sound like a command to people: “Save it, let it grow - and you will become richer not only in forests and meadows, but also in soul.”

The Red Book is a document of human conscience. Each of us, in the face of the world, is responsible for the treasures of nature

Unfortunately, the life of primroses is short-lived. Often people pick the first flowers without thinking that they will die very soon. They drag from the forest not modest bouquets, but whole armfuls of drooping flowers that were so beautiful when they grew. This speaks of indifference to nature, spiritual callousness, and low human culture.

"Moan of violets."

Through the needles of dark pine needles

The light was shining cheerfully.

I was walking along a forest path

And suddenly I found a bouquet.

Bouquet of forest violets

He was lying on a mossy stump.

And I felt sorry for them,

And I felt sad.

The flowers have already faded.

The petals have drooped.

Why were they ripped off?

Broken stems?

It seemed to me that I heard

Violets faintly moan.

He became quieter and quieter.

But he hurt my heart.

Children read:

Take care of the primroses,
The first steps of spring!
By the early sun
A little warm
Those first flowers!

Recitation:

Flowers disappear on the ground.
This is becoming more noticeable every year.
Less joy and beauty
Leaves it to us every summer.
Revelation of meadow flowers
It was hardly clear to us:
We trampled them carelessly
And thoughtlessly, mercilessly tore.

Let's walk slowly through the meadow
And say “hello” to every flower.
I have to bend over the flowers
Not for tearing or cutting,
And to see their kind faces
And show them a kind face.

Educator: Now come up with the ending sentence.

You can’t pick primroses because…..

Student

If I pick a flower,

If you pick a flower,

If everything: both me and you,

If we pick flowers,

then they will remain empty

And trees and bushes.

And there will be no beauty

And there will be no kindness

If it's just me and you

If everyone picks flowers.

Educator : Now come up with the ending sentence.

You can’t pick primroses because…..

Educator : Let's learn to see the beauty of plants in their native element, where they are supposed to live!

Anemone sylvestris L.

Forest anemone- a perennial herbaceous rhizomatous plant, with an erect stem, up to 15-30 cm high. Anemone leaves are long-petiolate, basal, five-parted, densely pubescent. The flowers are large (30-70 mm in diameter), five-parted, white, densely pubescent. They bloom in May-June. The fruit is an achene.

Usually anemone forest grows in deciduous and mixed forests, on slopes, in clearings, in the steppe. It is often found in the black soil zone, but is found less frequently to the north. The northern border of distribution runs north of the Oka River.

For medicinal purposes, only the above-ground part of the plant (herb) is used, in which saponins, protoanemonin, ascorbic acid, flavonoids, organic acids and traces of alkaloids are found. Protoanemonin and saponins are also found in the roots of the plant.

Anemone preparations used only in folk medicine. They are believed to have antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, diaphoretic and diuretic effects. A decoction of the herb anemone was previously used to treat vision and hearing, for headaches and toothaches, whooping cough and diseases of the upper respiratory tract, colds, gastrointestinal ailments, delayed menstruation, gonorrhea, leucorrhoea, impotence and paralysis.

It should be noted that any use of anemone preparations must be agreed upon with a qualified herbalist.

Externally (externally only!) Anemone herb is used for skin diseases, including syphilis, as well as for rheumatism. Flowers are applied to abscesses to accelerate their maturation. The plant is poisonous and must be used with caution.

Since ancient times, the forest has helped people. In the forest, a person can always take material for housing construction - mighty logs from which beautiful houses are built. In the forest, people also get fuel for heating during the cold season - the forest regularly supplies people with firewood. And, of course, the forest gives people a lot of different food. Every summer people flock to the forest to stock up on mushrooms and berries. But our forests are not only rich in this. They give people beauty. For example, the beauty of forest flowers, which surprise us with their bright colors from early spring to late autumn. What flowers can be found in the forest?

Pereleska

Already in early spring, when the snow has not yet melted everywhere, the first snowdrops appear in forest clearings. Snowdrops are all primroses that begin to bloom without waiting for the snow to melt. Such primroses also include coppice. Its bright blue flowers peek cheerfully out of the last, dull snowdrifts.

Anemone

Another primrose can be seen under forest bushes. White flowers that sway in the wind on their thin stems are called anemones. Like sunflowers, they turn their flowers after the sun, trying to catch every ray.

Lungwort

This spring flower can easily be found where bumblebees are buzzing busily. It contains a lot of nectar, which bumblebees and bees like, which is why this flower was nicknamed lungwort. The flowers of this plant change color as they grow. At first they are pink, then they turn purple, and finally they turn bright blue.

Key rams

This primrose flower received such a funny name because its leaves are covered with soft fluff, reminiscent of lamb's fur. The bright yellow flowers of this plant are clustered together on a stem and resemble a set of keys from afar. So we got a funny name for the flower - key rams.

Lilies of the valley

The most graceful forest flower is the lily of the valley. On its long stem, it looked like someone had hung small white lanterns in clusters. This flower has only two leaves, they are long and sharp. For this, the lily of the valley received a second name among the people - “rabbit ears”.

Ivan-da-Marya

There are plants in the forest that have become characters in folk tales. Once a guy and a girl, Ivan and Marya, got into a thunderstorm. And Ivan covered Marya from the rain and lightning. And so a plant appeared in that place, the leaves of which covered the flower, as if the guy was protecting the girl from the weather. That’s what they call him – “Ivan-da-Marya”.

Touch-me-not

This very timid plant has an interesting feature. It is enough to touch its fruits, which look like small pods, and they explode and scatter seeds around themselves. It is not so easy to notice impatiens; this plant grows where there is a lot of shade and dampness.

Useful properties of forest flowers

Forest flowers not only give people their beauty. Many of them are also medicinal plants. For example, lily of the valley berries (which, by the way, are poisonous) are used to make medicines to treat heart disease. And “Ivan da Marya” is used in folk medicine to heal wounds.

Forest plants bring a lot of joy and benefit to humans. And they should be treated with care and respect.

What were you thinking about?

Mother! - Anton jumped up.

How nervous you are.

Somehow...

For you, son, no!

In the morning the disease returned.

Hello Anton!

Ah, Andryukha, Hello!

Where are you going now?

For lunch.

Like...

Are you from the thirty-seventh?

Son.

In the evening Anton asked:

Seems OK.

And you listen to those doctors.

Yes mom.

Mom, are you drinking cognac?

They say cognac is healthy.

But your heart hurts!

I'm a little bit...

Nothing yet, thank God!

Mom, are you feeling bad?

Mom, what are you saying?

The truth, son!

What truth?

Otherwise I don’t know what she is like!

I didn't see any others.

Registration number 0048349 issued for the work:

Anton and his mother, Larisa Petrovna, lived in a panel house built in the early 1970s. The father died when the boy was not even seven years old. Larisa Petrovna did not dare to remarry, or perhaps she did not find it convenient.

Mother and son shared living space in a three-room apartment, which by modern standards was not very spacious. The apartment required renovation. However, Anton could not take care of the apartment: either his mother would get sick, or his boss would ask him to go out on his day off.

So they lived until Anton’s date loomed - twenty-five years.

Most of my acquaintances and friends had already started families and children at twenty-five and lived separately from their parents. Anton was thinking about marriage. There were acquaintances: he is a prominent guy. But the candidates were clumsy, half-witted, and on their own. That's what my mother thought.

Once, at a friend’s wedding, Anton met Ira. Fell in love immediately. But he was in no hurry to tell either his mother or Ira about his feelings. The idea arose to invite Ira home, to introduce her to her mother.

As soon as a mother meets her son’s girlfriend, she immediately says: “She’s not a match for you!” - and will bring a mountain of ironclad arguments. The son looked closely at his chosen one - and really noticed the disadvantages and was surprised: where were his eyes looking?

Incomprehensible feelings and premonitions haunted Anton.

“If I invite Ira, then my mother will find this in her... - Anton thought in the evenings. - But I don’t want her to find “something like that” in her. I also have shortcomings... I love Ira and cannot live without her.”

Are you sick, son? - Larisa Petrovna asked, sitting down on the edge of Anton’s bed.

No. - Anton returned to reality.

What were you thinking about?

Larisa Petrovna put her hand on her son’s forehead.

Mother! - Anton jumped up.

How nervous you are.

I'm not nervous. I'm not five years old. In general, I can be alone and think.

Somehow...

Are you rude to your mother? Did I deserve it?

Sorry, mom. - Anton sat down next to him and hugged him. - Got caught up at work.

Then lie down and rest. Do you want me to bake a pie, your favorite?

Isn’t it hard for you after your illness?

For you, son, no!

Larisa Petrovna went to the kitchen. She stood at the window and looked out at the street for a long time.

It seems to me, son, it’s not about work. We know what causes thoughtfulness and why eyes light up. You do not love me! I go to you with all my heart, but you keep hiding... - Larisa Petrovna whispered.

In the morning the disease returned.

At lunchtime, Anton had to urgently go home. Larisa Petrovna called and informed his boss about the “borderline state of her health.” The boss told Anton about the call, looked at him with a long strange look and looked away. There was no time left to go into the chief's mimicry. Anton asked for the rest of the day, promising to go to work on the next day off. The boss shrugged and went into the office.

On the way, Anton stopped at the pharmacy.

Hello Anton!

Ah, Andryukha, Hello!

Where are you going now?

For lunch.

I see... When is the wedding? - Andrey winked.

“I don’t know,” Anton shrugged.

Is everything okay with you and Ira?

Like...

Anton, but you look like that.

Everything is fine with Ira. Mother is sick.

Yes, your mother is sick. Probably, future daughters-in-law act so flightily on her. Allergy.

Didn't understand? Are you, Andrey, already in the morning? - Anton grinned and hit himself on the neck with the back of his hand.

You idiot, Anton, how many beautiful women you have lost, and Ira is worth all of them combined.

What, what? - Anton clenched his fists threateningly.

But the situation defused: Anton’s turn came, and Andrei disappeared.

Anton had long noticed how his friend looked at Ira and now he understood what he was driving at.

There was an ambulance at the house. Anton quickened his pace.

At the entrance door he ran into the doctors and asked with concern:

Are you from the thirty-seventh?

And who are you? - asked the young doctor and looked at Anton with interest.

Son.

Do not you worry. Your mother is in excellent health. But the pressure is rising. You understand - age.

You talk like you don't have a heart! - Anton said and disappeared into the entrance.

Rude! We ride because of imaginary ones. Maybe where a person dies for real, and she. Yes, you can plow on it! - the older doctor seethed. - We know everyone. Son to his girlfriend - mom dies. It's immediately obvious.

It is not known how the conversation ended: the doctors got into the ambulance and left.

In the evening Anton asked:

Mom, how are you feeling?

Seems OK.

The doctors said that you only have high blood pressure.

And you listen to those doctors.

If you really feel bad, I won't go anywhere.

It’s not good for me, son,” Larisa Petrovna moaned.

Anton sighed: Ira will be offended. Once again the date is cancelled. “But Ira endures it,” Anton reasoned. - So he loves! And I love Ira more than life itself. But I love my mother too...” - He couldn’t find the place and didn’t know what to do.

Larisa Petrovna pitifully called her son:

There's medicine in the cabinet, bring it son. You know where.

Yes mom.

Anton is ashamed of thinking about little things when his mother, who gave him life, is sick. How can he think about entertainment!

At first Anton couldn’t believe his eyes. After that, he didn’t know how to react, studying the opened bottle of cognac. He felt stuffy. “That’s why mommy’s blood pressure is high!” - a guess flashed.

Mom, are you drinking cognac?

Larisa Petrovna blinked her eyes in confusion and squeezed out:

They say cognac is healthy.

But your heart hurts!

I'm a little bit...

Anton thought about the current situation for a long time and came to the conclusion: he needed to get married. He sometimes stays late at work, and his mother is home alone, sick. She needs supervision. And who, if not the daughter-in-law, will look after her? Moreover, he knew Ira as a kind and caring girl. Then the grandchildren will come, and the mother will forget about her illness while communicating with them.

Mom, I want to talk to you.

What about, son? - Larisa Petrovna smiled and looked at her son.

I'm concerned about your health.

Nothing yet, thank God!

But you are left at home alone! Sometimes I have to work on weekends.

It's nothing, son. You're not leaving me for good, right?

That's right... But you need constant supervision.

Larisa Petrovna looked at her son in fear.

Are you going to sell me... - she couldn’t help but sell me into the house?..

Mom, stop it! - Anton could not stand it. - Of course not! I was thinking about something: isn’t it time for me to get married? Ira will be able to look after you.

As Larisa Petrovna stood, she sat down. Her face turned white, her hands shook, she clutched her heart.

Mom, are you feeling bad?

Nothing, it will pass... It’s better to go to a nursing home than to live with a stranger who is just waiting for my death!

Mom, what are you saying?

The truth, son!

What truth?

Otherwise I don’t know what she is like!

But you don’t even know Ira!

Why should I get to know each other? Everything is clear with her!

Which is understandable? - Anton lost his temper.

“She’s not a match for you,” Larisa Petrovna exhaled pitifully and once again clutched her heart.

You haven't seen Ira. How can you talk bad things about her?

I didn't see any others.

Ira is not like that! I love her, you know? I love!

But mother, that means no,” Larisa Petrovna groaned dying.

Anton suddenly realized: his mother’s words did not look convincing as before. He is confident in Ira, loves her, and cannot imagine life without her. But he also loves his mother... Anton’s head went spinning.

I love you and Ira! - Anton tried to convince. - You just don't want to understand me.

Do as you know,” Larisa Petrovna waved her hand and calmly reasoned for herself: the matter will not reach the registry office anyway. - It’s true - it’s time for you, son, to get married.

You'll see: we will be much better together! - Anton cheered up.

Meanwhile, Larisa Petrovna thought: “For the first time, son, are you dragging a fidgety little girl into the house?” and answered:

If you think we will benefit, then why not? Bring us, let's meet. We'll see there.

There is still snow in the yard, although it is clearly melting during the day. The drops are ringing loudly and huge icicles are falling from the roofs with a terrible roar. It's definitely spring already! We won’t get to flowers very soon, so at least we can talk about them. And one of the most spring flowers is anemones.

Anemone or anemone is a genus of perennial herbaceous plants of the Ranunculaceae family. The flowers are pure white, yellow, lilac, green, blue, purple, pinkish or red; usually 1.5-4 cm in diameter. They grow from the Mediterranean to the Arctic.
The modern scientific name is derived from the Greek. Άνεμος - “wind”. Perhaps the literal translation of the name could mean “daughter of the winds.” Probably, the name was given to the plant because of its sensitivity to wind, even with small gusts of which large flower petals begin to flutter and flowers begin to sway on long peduncles. Previously, it was mistakenly believed that the flowers of a plant could close or open under the influence of the wind.

In Greek mythology, there are several legends telling about the appearance of anemones. According to one of them, the goddess of spring Flora, who took care of all plants, once became jealous of her husband with a nymph named Anemone. And she turned the homewrecker into a beautiful spring flower.

Here is another ancient Greek legend: Once, in the absence of Aphrodite, Adonis's dogs, while hunting, attacked the trail of a huge boar. They picked up the beast and, barking furiously, drove it away. Adonis rejoiced at such rich spoils; he had no presentiment that this was his last hunt. The barking of dogs was getting closer, and now a huge boar flashed among the bushes. Adonis was already preparing to pierce the enraged boar with his spear, when suddenly the boar rushed at him and mortally wounded Aphrodite’s favorite with its huge tusks. Adonis died from a terrible wound.

When Aphrodite learned about the death of Adonis, then, full of inexpressible grief, she herself went to the mountains of Cyprus to look for the body of her beloved young man. Aphrodite walked along steep mountain rapids, among dark gorges, along the edges of deep abysses. Sharp stones and thorns wounded the tender feet of the goddess. Drops of her blood fell to the ground, leaving a trail wherever the goddess passed. Finally, Aphrodite found the body of Adonis. She wept bitterly over the beautiful young man who died early. In order to preserve the memory of him forever, the goddess ordered a gentle anemone to grow from the blood of Adonis.

Having read these legends, this is exactly how I imagined a flower with such an unusual name for my ears - red, growing somewhere in Greece. And suddenly I discovered that these were also those snow-white, delicate flowers that bloom in April and delight us until mid-June, growing both in the forest and in the park. That's where I took this photo last year.

But here are larger photos, already from the Internet, where it is more convenient to view them.

These delicate flowers are listed in the Red Book, but there is no point in picking them - they do not last long. But they can be grown in your gardens and dachas. After all, there are a huge number of them, both wild and garden, blooming in spring and autumn, in a wide variety of colors, for every taste.

Our ancestors believed that an anemone attached to clothing protected a person from harm and illness. People have different beliefs about anemone and consider it a magical flower. You can tell fortunes with anemone. A white flower is picked, for example, oak anemones, and a wish is made.

After which you need to shake the flower, but not too much, and tell fortunes by the petals - it will come true, it won’t come true. If, when shaking, all the petals fly off, then, alas, the wish will not come true. There is also a very original love spell using anemone. To do this, on a moonlit night at 12 o’clock you need to leave the house, taking with you a jar of anemone petals, again white, and walk to your loved one’s house.

Step onto the porch and turn back. Count out your usual 88 steps and start scattering petals. Pour a number of petals equal to the number of letters in his name, again take 88 steps and again pour a number of petals equal to the number of letters in his name. And so on all the way to your home.

The second version of the love spell is this. You need to take the number of petals equal to your name from the pink anemone and add the number of petals equal to his name from the white anemone. Dry them in the moonlight. Sew it in scarlet silk and discreetly slip it into your loved one’s pocket.

Anemone flowers placed in the bedroom strengthen the relationship between spouses. Moreover, they can be simply drawn or embroidered.

Previously, to prevent the husband from going out, dried white anemone petals were placed in a man’s handkerchief, preferably one that the husband had already used, the handkerchief was tied in a knot and whispered:

"Knot, knot,
My hubby has been faithful to me forever,
One is looking at me.
I'm putting you under the mattress.
Serve as a talisman,
Deliver us from betrayal and lies.”

Then the scarf was placed under the mattress of the marital bed. No one except husband and wife can sit on this bed, much less lie down. Otherwise, the amulet will lose its power.

Previously, in some places, in order to get married as quickly as possible, girls wove wreaths of white anemones and went to the bank of a river or pond, where, as in a mirror, a reflection could be seen. You had to imagine yourself in a wedding dress, veil and make a wish about your wedding.

It has been proven that a bouquet of white anemones not only pleases the soul, but also has a beneficial effect on the eyes. Just look at white blooming anemones for ten minutes, and eye fatigue will go away imperceptibly.

But we must remember that anemone is considered a poisonous plant because it contains the alkaloid anemonin, which causes redness of the skin. If one of your relatives or friends has been poisoned by anemone, then you need to immediately induce vomiting in the victim, then give him Corvalol and call an ambulance. Therefore, maybe it’s better to admire these ones, made of beads?

Nevertheless, this flower is used in folk medicine. They are believed to have analgesic and antispasmodic properties. Fresh anemone leaves mixed with other plants are used for hysteria, seizures, shortness of breath, asthma, liver inflammation, cholelithiasis, inflammation of the spleen, kidneys and bladder, pain, scabies, whooping cough, gout, dropsy, paralysis, arthrosis, polyarthritis. Infusions of oak anemone enhance the activity of the kidneys and lungs.

IN language of flowers Anemone has many meanings:

Anemone- parting, sincerity, hope; renunciation, illness

By the way, if you dream of a white anemone, changes for the better await you; if the anemone's petals are yellow, look around to see if there is a rival or homewrecker nearby; a pink anemone portends good children, and a whole bouquet of anemones portends a long, happy married life.
