Turn out, iron out.

Stitch up the non-wired part. Trim the top and bottom edges with a bias tape. Heat treatment.

Decorate the finished product with a flower made of the same material as the grab to hide the loops.

With magnet

Magnetic retainers are even easier to manufacture.

You will need:

paired magnets;
tape or cloth cut;
decorative elements;
glue gun and silicone glue.
