Modern kitchen dining room design. Combining kitchen and dining room: ideas for a harmonious and comfortable interior. Wide portal between zones

If the combination of the kitchen and dining areas can hardly surprise anyone now, the kitchen-dining room-living room is still perceived as something exotic. Customers who oppose such a layout most often argue their negative attitude by fear of the appearance of kitchen odors in the living room. However, this problem can be easily solved with a powerful hood. Of course, it is important to understand that a layout that involves the creation of a kitchen-dining room-living room will require you to constantly maintain order. Even a couple of uncleaned cups after your morning coffee can ruin the overall experience. In general, today there are no insoluble obstacles to creating a single studio space with a kitchen, living room and dining area.

In our today's publication, we offer you examples of interiors of small and large kitchen-dining rooms and kitchen-dining rooms-living rooms. All presented projects were developed by Olga Kondratova Design Studio.

Varieties of kitchen-dining-living room layout. Photo

The layout of the kitchen-dining room-living room is determined by the total area of the apartment. In small apartments, the entire living space can be built like a studio. For small apartments, a studio layout is often the only possible solution to improve ergonomics and slightly increase the footage of residential areas. By simply transferring the kitchen to the living room, an additional room is freed up in the apartment. In adjacent rooms, by moving the partition, the area of the kitchen area often increases, which makes it possible to move the living room there. And the vacant living room in such a case can be used as a bedroom, study or nursery. Another type of layout involves the arrangement of a kitchen-dining room-living room in a large apartment or house. In this case, the impressive footage allows designers to feel more free when arranging functional areas.

1. Small studio apartment

In the drawing: A variant of the planning solution for a small apartment with a kitchen-dining room-living room

When planning a kitchen-dining-living room in a small apartment, it is important to provide a place for the sleeping area. The bedroom can be separated from the common space using a transparent partition or curtains. If the configuration of the room allows, then the bed should be installed in a niche, which will help to isolate the sleeping area. The variant of the planning solution of a small apartment in Paris, presented in the figure above, just implies the arrangement of a bedroom in a niche, separated from the common space of the kitchen-dining room-living room with the help of curtains.

In the picture: An example of a kitchen-dining-living room interior with a linear layout

The original layout and compact furniture made it possible to place a kitchen-dining-living room in this small Parisian studio apartment. The living area is furnished with a small sofa with a round table. Built-in bookcases take up a minimum of space. As, however, and kitchen cabinets, lined up along one line. The layout of the kitchen-dining-living room in this example is linear. The dining area, located almost in the center of the studio space, helps to draw a fictitious boundary between the sofa and kitchen areas.

2. Combining a kitchen with a living room in a large apartment (private house)

On the drawing: A variant of the layout of a large apartment with a kitchen-dining room-living room

The layout of the kitchen-dining-living room in a large apartment or house is often also linear. Although in the case of spacious apartments, a variety of planning solutions are acceptable. So, in some design projects, you can even find a radial layout. Certain adjustments to planning decisions are made by and.

In the photo: Design of a kitchen-dining-living room in a large apartment

In the photo of 2016, you can see that when creating layouts for kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, designers avoid explicit means of zoning. This trend is especially evident in the interiors of large apartments, where the area allows you to leave a certain space between the functional zones. In order to emphasize the independence of each of the functional areas, chandeliers are usually enough. The living room area can also additionally stand out with a carpet.

3. Moving the kitchen into the living room

In the photo: Design of a living room with a relocated kitchen

Moving the kitchen to the living room, as in the photo above, is possible only if certain standards are observed. So, you will not be able to agree on such a redevelopment if there is a living area of neighbors under your apartment. In this matter, the owners of duplex apartments, as well as the owners of apartments on the ground floors, are much more fortunate. When moving the kitchen to the living room, the gas stove will most likely have to be abandoned in favor of the electric one. It is often possible to expand the space of the kitchen-dining room-living room by joining the areas of the corridors.

4. Expansion of the doorway between the kitchen and living room

In the photo: Design of a kitchen-living room with a sliding partition

To create a kitchen-dining-living room, it is often not at all necessary to completely combine the two rooms. Sometimes it is enough to create a wide doorway between the adjacent kitchen and the living room. This approach will help shape the studio space. If you equip the extended doorway with a transparent sliding partition, then you will also get the opportunity, if necessary, to completely isolate the kitchen from the living space.

Kitchen-dining room with and without living room. Zoning tools

Some customers fear that when combining the kitchen-dining room with the living room, the space will turn out to be poorly organized, it will be difficult to understand what each zone is specifically responsible for. All these fears are in fact also unfounded. Indeed, today, interior designers know a lot of methods for conditional zoning of studio space, thanks to which it will be much easier for you to navigate the apartment.

5. Combining two types of flooring in the kitchen-dining room: photo

In the photo: Design of a kitchen-dining room with two types of flooring

Despite the fact that in 2016, designers strive to maintain the unity of the flooring throughout the apartment, in the design of the kitchen-dining room, as in the photo above, it sometimes makes sense to highlight with tiles a small strip of floor near the headset. The area near the sink is considered a wet area, and therefore tiles are more practical here than laminate or parquet.

6. Bar counter in the design of the kitchen-dining room-living room: photo

In the photo: Design of a kitchen-living room with a bar counter

The bar counter, being an element of furniture, is visually perceived not as a means of zoning, but as an important part of the furnishings. However, the designers are well aware that a narrow high worktop very clearly divides the kitchen-dining-living room into functional areas. Recently, multifunctional kitchen islands, which look like bar counters from the side of the sofa area, have been in great demand.

7. Columns and narrow partitions in the design of the kitchen-dining-living room

In the photo: Design of a kitchen-dining-living room with a column-partition

In the design of the kitchen-dining room-living room in the photo, one of the elements of the conditional zoning of space is a modern column-partition. The advantage of this design is also that, due to the stripes, it visually lengthens the room in height. Contributes to the zoning of space and the very principle of furniture arrangement. So, gray sofas and a modern designer armchair clearly "outline" the boundaries of the living area. A large gray carpet also "helps" this task.

8. Sliding doors and partitions

In the photo: Sliding partitions between the kitchen and living room

The layout of the kitchen-dining room-living room often involves the expansion of the door portal and the installation of sliding doors and partitions. Designers now prefer transparent structures that improve the insolation of the apartment. Unlike standard swing doors, sliding partitions do not take up valuable square meters. Such designs will be an excellent solution for those who, intending to equip a studio space, are afraid of the smell of the kitchen entering the living room.

9. Chandeliers in the interior design of the kitchen-dining room from the living room

21. Kitchen-dining room in a private house with a living room

In the photo: Design of a modern kitchen-dining-living room in a private house

The design of the kitchen-dining room-living room in the photo is done in a modern style. The kitchen area in this project occupies a separate room, however, due to the expanded doorway, it is perceived as part of a single studio space. The unique design of the dining room with white chairs makes the vinotheque. Futuristic chandeliers with silver balls strung on threads help to emphasize the independence of the functional areas.

22. Kitchen-dining room in a wooden private house

In the picture: Design of a kitchen-dining room in a wooden private house

And the design of this kitchen-dining room in a private house is very close to the authentic Russian style. This is partly the merit of the samovar and natural wood, which prevails in the decoration. The beige shades in this project are diluted with juicy green accents in the form of upholstered chairs.

In the middle of the last century, the kitchen and dining room were included in the layout of any apartment. Over time, apartment designs have changed, dining rooms have been pushed out of the standard plans of architects.

The kitchen began to resemble a small room, in which a family of 4-5 people can hardly fit.

However, the kitchen dining room in a modern apartment has a special place. Family and guests gather in it, merry celebrations and gatherings are held. Therefore, the design of the dining room kitchen must fulfill all the requirements for this room.

Interior decoration

Today, there are 3 options for the layout of the dining room:

  • Separate dining room;
  • Kitchen combined with a dining room;
  • The dining room is a living room.

Advice. Be sure to divide the interior of the dining room kitchen into separate functional areas.

Combining the kitchen - dining room with the hall, a very comfortable room is created for a full-fledged reception of guests. After the end of the meal, you can move with the guests to watch TV or have a cup of mulled wine by the fireplace.

When creating a dining room kitchen project, do not forget about combining the style of the room and dividing it into functional zones.

How to properly make zoning in the kitchen dining room

Walls painted in different colors will help to correctly differentiate the kitchen from the dining room. You shouldn't play on bright contrast of shades.

The chosen palette should be in harmony with each other.
It is better to make the floor part of the covering for the kitchen area from tiles, and for the recreation area it is ideal: laminate, parquet, carpet.

Installing a bar counter is one of the most popular options for planning a dining room kitchen in small apartments. Such zoning looks elegant, adds sophistication to the room, and also saves valuable centimeters.

If you are the owner of a large dining room - kitchen, then it is better to give up the bar counter. Firstly, the chairs are too high for small family members, it will be quite problematic to sit on them. Secondly, sitting on such stools is not comfortable enough.

Advice. When cooking, perhaps the spread of food odors, in order to avoid this, take care of a powerful hood in advance.

Recommendations for the design of the kitchen - dining room

The kitchen dining room in the apartment is a solution to the problems of modern housewives. Gone are the days when the family watches TV in one room, and the wife cooks in the kitchen in complete isolation.

Follow these tips when setting up your kitchen - dining room:

  • Take care of the lighting in the dining area. You can install panoramic windows - will give a zest to the room. When decorating windows, choose light tulle or blinds designed for the kitchen.
  • You can use paintings for wall decor;
  • Place long decorative vases on the floor;

Varieties of layout

  • Linear;
  • Double row;
  • Ostrovnaya.

The linear layout is ideal for the interior design of the kitchen dining room with a narrow area. The kitchen set should be installed near one wall, and the dining table should be placed on the opposite.

The two-row layout is suitable for walk-through kitchens with dining areas. It allows you to turn the main disadvantage into an undeniable advantage. This option is a good solution if there are 2 hostesses in the house.

Advice. If the space in the dining room kitchen is small, then if you have a balcony, you can increase it. Just tear down the wall and glaze the balcony room.

An island layout is a sophisticated option when creating an in-house dining kitchen with a piece of equipment or dining table in the center.

  • Items that can act as an island: table, bar;
  • Various shapes can be chosen: square, circle, oval;
  • The two-level version of the island can be used if one part is a working area, and the other acts as a dining table;
  • A folding table is an ideal solution for receiving guests;
  • The style is selected in accordance with the style of the kitchen - dining room.

Below are selected photos of the dining room kitchen, in which you can see the possible design options for this room.

Kitchen and dining room decoration in a private house - interesting ideas and organizational points

General organizational points

  • A country cottage can include several floors.

The dining room kitchen in a private house is best placed on the 1st floor, since it will be impractical on the 2nd or in the basement. An exception may be an additional kitchen, when there is already a main one on the 1st floor.

  • Typically, a classic kitchen-dining room includes more than 1 window.

Therefore, the room is brighter than other rooms. This can be used when arranging it. For example, to decorate the walls with materials that give a unique play of light under the sun's rays, or with photo wallpapers that will "come to life" under the sun's rays.

  • Zoning your dining room kitchen with furniture and finishing materials.

The current option for zoning is an open arch doorway. It can be supplemented with a bead curtain. But in this case, take care of good forced ventilation so that odors do not enter the dining room. The spacious room is also zoned by columns. Another zoning option is glass sliding sliding doors. Decor can be applied to glass.

Zoning this room in a private house is beneficial in that the rooms for the kitchen are usually large, which allows you to choose the desired area for the kitchen and dining room. The overweight in the area is usually in favor of the dining room, since it often provides not only family meals, but also the reception of guests.

  • Allocate storage space ahead of time.

Better even at the stage of the dining room kitchen project. If there are supermarkets nearby in the city, then in the private sector this can be a problem. A capacious area for storing food is also beneficial because housewives can store crops and canned goods in it. The refrigerator should also be roomy for storing perishable food.

Ideas for a square kitchen-dining room

The square shape of such a room is the most common. Decorating a dining room kitchen or a separate kitchen is straightforward.

  • To begin with, they designate the place of the cooking zone and are repelled from it when decorating the rest of the situation.
  • If the room is spacious, the work area can be arranged in the middle - include a stove in it, an extractor hood above it, tables for cutting food and the necessary cutlery.
  • In a large square kitchen in the center, you can also make a dining area.

Ideas for a narrow kitchen-dining room

If the space is narrow, the design of the dining room kitchen or separate kitchen should be aimed at increasing the space. It can be enlarged visually or by choosing the right furniture and placing items.

  • Give preference to light and cool shades, preferably with a glossy surface.
  • The decoration should not have large ornaments and textures. It is best if the pattern is not very pronounced.
  • The ceiling above the dining area can be mirrored, which will also increase the space. For this, you can use facet mirrors.
  • The layout of a narrow-shaped dining room kitchen should not include any partitions, openings, arches, screens that will hide the space.
    For these reasons, it is advisable to make a separate kitchen in a narrow room. But if there is a desire to make a kitchen-dining room, zone the space with the help of differences in decoration or with the help of furniture.
  • In this design of the dining room kitchen, there should be no unnecessary details in the house - only the most necessary household appliances, best of all built into a headset or hidden in closed cabinets.
  • Choose furniture that is not too massive, but functional. You can choose a folding table in case guests come. A soft L-shaped kitchen corner is well suited.
  • Choose light, translucent curtains and tulle so that they do not hide the space.

Options for arranging a kitchen-dining room

The dining room kitchen in the house is often equated with the living room, especially if it is a large area.

  • If in the living room a place to relax with friends and family is often limited to a sofa area with a coffee table, then modern kitchen dining rooms allow you to receive guests by seating them at a large dining table.
  • If you place the kitchen set only along one wall, there will be more free space for organizing the dining area - a massive table and chairs.
  • If, at the initial stage of arranging the dining room, combined with the kitchen, you concluded that there will be little space, use roomy light-colored cabinet furniture, best of all with a glossy surface with closed shelves from floor to ceiling. Place non-essential items in such furniture.
  • The living room area usually goes first from the entrance, and then the kitchen.

This option is convenient for receiving guests - they do not need to contemplate the cooking process and culinary secrets.

  • Modern dining kitchen designs often include a bar counter with high chairs.

This solution is beneficial in that you can have a quick bite to eat without serving a large table or enjoy a prepared cocktail.

  • Do not place kitchen appliances and other typical cooking items in the dining area.

The setting should be conducive to a comfortable meal. Complement it with textiles, decor, or a beautiful tea service.

In a city apartment or a private house, the owners often want to organize a room that combines a place for eating and comfortable rest for the whole family. Then the kitchen is planned as a dining-living room, which allows you to create an original and comfortable interior.

Advantages and disadvantages of redevelopment

Combining two rooms in an apartment in our country is far from a new way. Many are familiar with turnkey ready-made studio apartments, where the entire usable area is essentially one room that combines a kitchen, living room or bedroom. Many people find advantages in such a layout not only in the low price for such housing, but in a certain functionality, a cozy and comfortable interior.

The combined dining-living room project has several advantages:

  • the useful area is significantly saved: instead of two full-fledged rooms, one is used, and the remaining free one can be used for a second bedroom, a nursery, a storage room;
  • increased comfort, since everything is at hand and within sight;
  • lighting is saved, since it is common for both functional areas, natural light from common windows is added to it;
  • such a room is able to unite the whole family in one cozy corner;
  • the interior as a whole becomes more functional and comfortable.

But if the owners decided to use the combination of two functional zones different in purpose into one, then we must also remember the disadvantages of this method:

  • Oftentimes, such a project is not cheap, especially if the load-bearing walls have to be dismantled to unite. In one room, a high-quality separation of functional areas can be costly.
  • The smell of food being cooked in the kitchen will spread to the living area. Plus, the increased temperature and humidity penetrate into the room, which is not suitable for such conditions.
  • The surfaces of the walls and furniture in the living room half can deteriorate from kitchen fumes.
  • An increased noise level from the kitchen area can also become a hindrance.

photos

But the last three problems can be solved by installing powerful exhaust and ventilation systems, partial partitions between zones, reliable materials that are protected from external influences.

It is worth noting that such planning of the combined kitchen and living rooms is a traditionally Western phenomenon. It came from those countries where people are not used to preparing serious meals at home: soups, pastries and more. Their kitchen area is used as much as possible for preparing light snacks, tea and coffee, heating semi-finished products in the microwave. So the kitchen in such a combined interior is more like a cafe or bar.

Redevelopment options in large rooms

If the living conditions allow, and for the joint use of the dining-living room, a room with an area of 20 sq. m and above, it is possible to organize a completely comfortable territory with a division of functional zones, in which even a large family will comfortably settle. This is especially true for a country house, where you can carry out communications at your own discretion: gas, heating, ventilation, water supply and build beautiful partitions. In a large room, it remains only to make competent zoning - visual and functional division of territories: kitchen, dining room, living room. Several types of such design can be considered.

photos

Color and level zoning

A simple (but not always cheap) option is various ways of interior decoration of walls, floors and ceilings in different functional areas. You can, for example, tile the kitchen area with tiles - this is one of the best materials for this room, and in the living room area, glue modern wallpaper on the walls, and cover the floor with laminate. The ceiling can be of one material, for example, a hinged ceiling with a plasterboard frame and painting. And make the ceiling transition from one zone to another in the form of a level difference. The contrast of finishing materials will bring an excellent visual separation of the two territories. With this method, of course, it is necessary to take into account the harmonious combination of colors of finishing materials in the two zones. It is best to select shades that are close in scale. Do not forget about furniture, which should also visually harmonize in both functional areas.

Partitions

To further emphasize the separation of functional zones, piers and partitions are often used between them. Their installation can be relatively simple, carried out even by non-professionals, does not require complex engineering solutions and approvals from utilities, BTI and other authorities. The simplicity lies in the fact that the interior structures will not be load-bearing; they can be made of lightweight materials: a thin metal frame, drywall, plywood, chipboard or plastic.

You can create a beautiful arch separating the kitchen and living room area using a minimum of tools and materials, and it is quite possible to complete work in a small apartment in 1-2 days. It will be not only an excellent visual divider, but also a functional element, since it to some extent traps noise, smells and steam from the kitchen, you can make niches in it for storing things.

Bar counters

A common and very popular option is to create a single cafe-style room with a bar partition. The idea is quite simple - a rectangular structure with a countertop is installed on the border of the living room and the kitchen area. It turns out that in the kitchen you can prepare snacks and drinks and serve them through the counter into the living room. Above such a partition, you can install elegant lamps, put comfortable bar stools in front of it. This layout has recently been very popular, especially in young families.

Lighting

You can highlight the functional areas of the kitchen-dining room and living room using lighting. Install built-in spotlights on the kitchen part, and a ceiling chandelier or a beautiful floor lamp in the other half. And if you choose the same lighting fixtures for the ceiling, then create a difference in color: in the kitchen there is bright yellow lighting, and in the living room it is cold bluish.

photos

Separation by furniture

Separating two or three zones with furniture does not require any installation work at all. You can simply put the massive sofa back to the kitchen side. And instead of installing the bar counter described above, use a ready-made cabinet or a book-table from a furniture store. Indoors with an area of 30 sq. meters it is possible to create as many as 3 functional areas: for cooking, a dining room with a dining table and a living room for the whole family. Then it is better not to use any massive partitions and walls, but simply highlight the borders with pieces of furniture or various decor options.

Small area options

Problem situations

The combination of two rooms in a small apartment is widespread and really allows you to create stylish and cozy areas of the kitchen, dining room and living room "under one wing". The technology here is simple - it consists in dismantling the interior wall with subsequent zoning. But in fact, simplicity is only at first glance, serious construction work causes problematic situations:

  • It's important not to just smash the concrete wall with a jackhammer and cut out the reinforcement. Such barbaric dismantling without knowledge of building engineering codes can lead to very serious consequences. Therefore, even before conceiving a project for the future reconstruction, you need to contact a specialist.
  • Such dismantling in an apartment building is in any case agreed and approved by the utilities. You cannot start work without their consent.
  • Demolition of a wall in a typical multi-storey building is a very noisy process. Therefore, it is necessary to hold it only at a certain time, it is advisable to warn the neighbors so as not to cause them anxiety.
  • Work on the elimination of the interior overlap will bring whole mountains of construction debris and dust. Therefore, in advance it is necessary to take care of protection from contamination of furniture, floors and walls, removal of production waste to designated places. Do not dispose of them in the garbage chute or in the household waste containers in front of the house.

Important nuances

Another important point is to take into account possible communications when dismantling: electrical wiring and heating. Although the latter is usually laid against the outer walls under the windows. But still, before demolition, it is best to study the laying of engineering systems, for this you may need a technical passport for an apartment or consultation with the local housing and communal services. And in general it is worth remembering that dismantling may well turn out to be more expensive than subsequent finishing, if not for finances, then for the time and nerves spent.

A practical design solution is the combination of kitchen and dining room. This option provides for the presence of open space. Quite often, in this case, they combine a kitchen and a room, a loggia or a corridor. This is done in order to obtain a well-thought-out and functional space that takes into account all the requirements of the owner of the apartment and the possibilities of the premises.

Work zone

This is one of the most important aspects. Before any renovation work is carried out, it is necessary to accurately calculate the required amount of materials in order to meet the budget. The project of the proposed work must take into account all the features of the premises, be sustained in a single style.

The layout of the kitchen area can be different. The most common option is linear when all equipment is lined up.

Typically, all storage systems, appliances and work surfaces stretch along one wall. This leaves space for the dining area.

This option is suitable for rooms with a medium or large area. It is necessary to decide on the materials for finishing the floor, apron, working surface of the kitchen set.

Lighting plays an important role: illumination of the working area will help to highlight it.

It will look very nice in the dining area large chandelier.

Angular the headset is acceptable in rooms with an area of more than 8 square meters - the location of the working area in one corner leaves enough space.

It is usually enough to set up a dining table for 4-6 people.

If necessary, its area can be increased. In addition, this option is the only one possible for L-shaped rooms.

Parallel the layout assumes the placement of the working area along the opposite walls. There is usually a dining table in the center of such a room.

An option for placing in such a room in the center will be Island, which can be used as a work surface. And the dining area will be moved to the corner.

Dining area

It can be organized using soft corner... He will provide the necessary comfort.

If the room has a bay window, then a dining area can be placed in it, and it will fit perfectly there. While eating, you can admire the views from the window.

The use of such furniture allows you to harmoniously combine the kitchen and dining room in one room.

The design elements in the room resonate with each other and form a single composition.

In rooms with an unusual shape, too elongated or too small to rationalize the space, it is necessary to use tables of an unusual shape. They distract attention from the general view.

Bar counter very often used as a replacement for a full dining area.

On one side, you can place high bar stools, and on the other, put a soft sofa.

The rack can be made multi-level, which will allow it to be used as a work or dining area, depending on the height.

Table by the window favorably emphasize the space. This will make the dining area stand out from the rest of the kitchen.

With bright accents (for example, curtains or tablecloths) you can harmoniously emphasize the overall style of the room.

Canteen in a separate room, zoned from one large room to several small ones, is possible thanks to the use of shelves, partitions or small cabinets as dividing elements. Also, the following elements can act in their capacity: a contrasting carpet, wall coverings, lighting fixtures.

They will also help to decorate a poorly lit room. mirrors and drapery, which will make it lighter and visually enlarge.

Expansion of space and bright accents

The color scheme of the kitchen-dining room is usually kept in monochromatic shades.

This choice is due to the fact that this color scheme is universal, therefore it is suitable for almost any room.

However, it will completely help to highlight any piece of furniture. bright accents... Usually they are colored accessories, textiles or lighting fixtures. There are several options for such interiors: however bright interiors- the most common and demanded among consumers.

Organization of space on an area of 20 sq. m

Their popularity is due to the fact that white is very often a symbol of purity and sterility. And the kitchen is exactly the room in which you would like to comply with sanitary standards.

Designers advise using your favorite shade as the predominant color. Saturated color will become a bright accent of the kitchen.

There are kitchens in red, green or yellow colors. They are usually used for the facades of the kitchen set. It is also necessary to use two auxiliary colors that are combined with the main one. Their goal is to create a vibrant, dynamic interior. For contrast, choose one shade - its use is limited to just a few accessories.

Thus, a lively, rich interior is obtained.

Coloring yourself can be challenging, but there are programs to help you choose the right shades for a harmonious and thoughtful style.

Correctly selected ones will help to highlight the dining area fixtures.

They are usually located above the table, so they must meet several criteria.

Its main purpose remains lighting: the chandelier must make up for the lack of natural light, if it is not enough.

It should also be combined with the general style of the room: for example, in a classic interior, only classic lamps should be used.

The kitchen-dining room would be an ideal option for using a crystal chandelier located above a glass table.

Buffet as an interior detail. This piece of furniture will be a great accent that will look great in a vintage-style room.

Modern sideboards can be renovated with paint, decorated with fabrics or wallpaper. It is better to arrange the dishes at different levels, and use the cups to make a little messy mess.

The arrangement of the dishes in artistic disorder will also give a zest to the interior.
