Tourist tracks are prepared for the weekend, there are different routes for families with children, amateurs and advanced skiers. Several interesting long routes through the forest are plotted on the map - from one train platform to another. The maximum ski track length is 50 kilometers. On the website, all routes are marked on an interactive map. But at the same time, there is no infrastructure in "GABO".

In "GABO" there are safety rules that are best observed. First of all, due to the fact that the tracks here are very long - and help can be expected for a long time.

Ski club "Volkusha" in Lytkarino

The private ski club Volkusha has created a wide comfortable track for classic and skating. It is seven meters wide and ten kilometers long. There are both gentle and steep sections. The track is equipped with snow cannons, so snow is guaranteed here with the onset of cold weather. There are changing rooms in the central glade.

Ski stadium "Zorky" in Krasnogorsk

One of the attractions of Krasnogorsk near Moscow is the ski stadium " Vigilant". There is everything you need for skiing and learning: a children's section, instructors, a ski workshop, equipment rental and well-prepared tracks for skating and classic skiing. There are circles for three, five and ten kilometers of different difficulty levels - from those available to beginners to very steep ones. For evening skiing, a circle with a length of one and a half kilometers is illuminated. The stadium often hosts local competitions. Paid changing rooms are open during the winter season.

Ski slopes in Dubna

Dubna is one of the recognized ski centers in outskirts of Moscow. There are four tracks in the city. The challenging Sportivny route, five kilometers long, is illuminated for night skiing and runs through the forest-park zone of the Chernaya Rechka. The Zdorovye route, ten kilometers long, runs from the Yude-Kon stadium and the Peaceful Atom stele also through the forest. In the left-bank part of Dubna, there is an illuminated three-kilometer track for beginners. The shortest and absolutely flat circle for skiing, 400 meters long, is laid at the Volna stadium; it is perfect for beginners.

The Volen Sports Park specializes in skiing, but is also a place for many other sports. Including cross-country skiing. The ten-kilometer trail runs through the forest next to the park. The plus is that Volen has developed a full-fledged infrastructure for tourism and recreation - from parking lots and cafes to storage rooms, a first-aid post and hotels with cottages.

Krasnogorsk

When they talk about the skiing suburbs, first of all they remember the tracks of Krasnogorsk. They owe their appearance to the city-based skier Ivan Utrobin, bronze medalist of the 1964 Olympics in Innsbruck. Their length and quality allow for 50 km marathons as they meet the FIS (International Cross-Country Skiing Federation) requirements. Several years ago, the World Veterans Championship in cross-country skiing was held here. Advanced skiers will choose loops with numerous descents and ascents ("utrobinsky circle"), and for family walks, ski tracks laid along long glades without climbing are quite suitable. Glider

The Planernaya track is known as the traditional venue for the Moscow Ski Track marathon. It is located in the Khimki district of the Moscow region, passes through rough terrain, winding through the forest and through the fields. The main circle is 20 km long, but by combining different sections of the loops, you can roll any distance - from 5 to 50 km. On January 26, 2014, a 50-kilometer marathon race will be held here in the classic style of them. V. Kuzin and L. Baranova. GABO folk track

In the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region, ski enthusiasts from the Gabo sports and health club every winter use snowmobiles to prepare tracks for skating and classic skiing. You can get here along Dmitrovskoe or Leningradskoe highway. Three trails are being prepared, designed for different levels of skiing: the "Teapot" trail - for mastering skiing equipment and a leisurely walk with children (3.5 km), the "Amateur" trail - with steep and fast descents (5.3 km) and a sports trail "Master" - with long climbs and high-speed turns (13.7 km). Odintsovo

In the summertime, the only purpose-built roller ski trail in the Moscow region operates here - a closed asphalt ring with a length of just over 6 km, with sharp turns, ascents and descents. In winter, the ski slope is prepared using specialized equipment. You can get there by car along the Mozhaisk highway (there is parking not far from the highway) or by train from the Odintsovo platform, then on foot or by minibus. More details can be found.

Ski base "Skhodnya"

One of the oldest ski resorts near Moscow, has existed since 1954. It is part of the Moscow City Physical Culture and Sports Association. Every winter, specialized equipment prepares and maintains a 5-kilometer track, suitable for classic and skating. At the base there are changing rooms, a workshop where skis can be prepared, and there is also a rental. This place is also interesting by the fact that for several years the competition "May Ski Track" has been held here: at the end of the season, the track is covered with hay and foil, keeping the snow almost until summer. And at the end of May, when the grass is already green around, the ski sprint and competitions in acheri-biathlon are opened (skiers run with bows and quivers with arrows).

Spring platform

The route starts near the Vesennyaya platform of the Kursk railway (direction to Chekhov, Tula), near the town of Klimovsk. It is prepared by "Buranami" mainly for skating, it is quite wide. Farm (Sergiev Posad)

The farm is the name of the microdistrict in Sergiev Posad. Here, with the help of enthusiastic skiers, “Buran” prepares two tracks of different complexity: physical (mostly runs along the plain) and sports (with a large number of ascents and descents, including protracted ones).

Snow in Moscow fell surprisingly early this year. But even though the snow closed the cycling season ahead of schedule, it opened the ski season!

Today we will tell you about the main places for cross-country skiing in Moscow and the Moscow region. In general, you can just go skiing in virtually every park in Moscow, but there are not so many trails suitable for high-quality training. Let's consider the main ones.

** Routes of the nearest Moscow region near the Moscow Ring Road

Odintsovo ** The track is located not far from Moscow, runs along the asphalt surface of a roller ski track, that is, the surface is flat and without bumps. In mid-November, the track is in good condition. There are changing rooms in the stadium building. The track is illuminated at night.

Meshchersky Park A new place for skiing that appeared several years ago. However, it immediately became one of the best in the Moscow region. The reasons are simple - a well-developed infrastructure, support by the administration of any sports activities and the correct technique that serves the tracks. The longest circle is more than 5 kilometers long. There are 4 and 1.3 km circles. There are two routes for tourist routes, 1.8 and 2.6 km long, with the width of the routes varying from 3 to 6 meters. On the sides there is a place for adherents of the classic style, in the middle - for a skate. A special Husky Rat-rak snow compacting machine is used to prepare the tracks. Krasnogorsk

The track in Krasnogorsk is one of the oldest in the near Moscow region. Here, for many years, selections for the World Championships and the Olympics were held. Unfortunately, the track is not being prepared at the top level now, but the amateur is doing well here. By the way, the 12-time world champion Ivan Utrobin is driving her away with snowstorms. In mid-November, the condition of the loops in the forest is satisfactory, there are hillocks and branches, leaves. There is no classic ski track. The circle in and around the stadium is in better condition than circles in the forest, but a decent "Olympic relief" is not suitable for every beginner. Unfortunately, there are no pistes here either. Therefore, you can only skate. There are paid changing rooms that usually open with the official start of the season, not in November. A favorite place for Moscow skiers, also because of its location, is the most "Moscow" track. In recent years, she has been threatened by a large construction site, but activists are collecting petitions, which is what we are talking about. So far, the 2.3-kilometer circle, which is located behind the Moscow Ring Road, is in good condition. Address: Moscow, South-West Administrative District, 36th km of the Moscow Ring Road.

Romashkovo

A well-known place for skiing right next to the Moscow Ring Road. Abundance of circles (from 2 kilometers to 17) and their long length, interesting and moderate relief. The access to the highway from the side of the outer Moscow Ring Road is still closed due to the construction site. Therefore, you can get there from the Medic stadium or from the direction of the village of Romashkovo. The stadium has warm changing rooms. There is no lighting on the track. Glider An old and well-known track where starts of the Moscow championship level are held. There is a forest part of the route, flat and field - with an abundance of heavy climbs. Izmailovsky park

There are places both for walking in the park and for training in the forest. In the first version there is mainly a plain for skiing, in the second there are pieces with a moderate relief. Sokolniki

Here the situation is about the same as with Izmailovsky Park. There are ski tracks for active recreation in more crowded places and more serious tracks in the depths of the park, near the cascade of Putyaevskie ponds. This year, Moscow Mayor S. Sobyanin promised to make the track the best for skiing within Moscow. Let's hope! In the meantime, we have made the so-called "all-weather ski track" by the park itself. Its length is almost two kilometers. In the evening, the track is illuminated with lanterns. In order for the snow cover to remain in a normal state, the path was fenced off from both sides with a mesh fence. Ski track in Pokrovskoe-Streshnevo park Another place on the ski map of a Muscovite is the park around the old estate Pokrovskoye-Streshnevo and the adjacent territories. They say that this year they began to replace the heating pipes and dug up part of the route, cutting off a couple of loops. But for people who live nearby, the track is still convenient.

Ski training sites in the Moscow region

Golovino (Volokolamsk direction)

The main track of the Moscow Region with the highest level of lap preparation. It is usually a couple of degrees colder here, and therefore the snow cannons begin to work in early December (this season already in November). The full name of the track is GABOV folk ski track. It is made by local ski enthusiasts and lovers, and I must say, they do it well. There is no retrack, the track is rolled by snowstorms.
