Hearty cereal pastries are convenient to take with you to work or school.

Once I bought “European” cookies in the trade pavilion, I took a little for testing, 300 grams. I liked it very much! When a couple of days later I went to the pavilion to buy more cookies, they were not on sale. Customers tasted it and bought it. For almost a month I went to the pavilion on "imported" days, the sellers ordered it, but the request was not fulfilled. So I decided to search the internet for the recipe. Here you can find EVERYTHING!!! I found several options and among them I began to choose OWN.

Some authors suggested making dough only with flour, others only with oatmeal. I decided for myself that MY cookies will be using a mixture of both. I met various options as additives: sunflower seeds, peanuts, hazelnuts, almonds, sesame seeds, chocolate, candied fruits, dried fruits.
I tried to bake, I liked it. Now I'm sharing with you.

So, we take:
1 egg
130-150g sugar
150g butter (softened)
About 100 g of flour (combined with 0.5 tsp of soda and sifted through a sieve),
2/3 cup oatmeal flakes (I use instant flakes)
150-160g peeled sunflower seeds,
Finely chopped zest of one orange
A pinch of salt.

Beat sugar with eggs until white.

Next, mix the airy egg mass with pre-softened creamy
oil.
We supplement the dough with orange zest and a pinch of salt.
Sift flour into a separate bowl and mix with baking soda.
Combine dry ingredients with egg mixture and as a final touch
add sunflower seeds.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spoon onto
baking sheet our mass and form circles of cookies.
We place the circles far from each other, because. cookies in the process of baking
increases in size.

To prepare, take:

- 100 gr. butter (can be replaced with vegetable margarine),
- half a glass of sugar,
- a glass of flour,
- a pinch of salt
- a small package of peeled sunflower seeds (100 gr.).

Then take it out. Form a tourniquet from the dough and cut it into pieces 5-6 cm thick (photo 5).
