Buckwheat with minced meat recipe:

1. First, you need to peel the onions and chop them finely with a sharp knife. Wash the carrots thoroughly and grate them using a grater with the smallest holes.

2. The minced meat should be placed in a frying pan, pour in vegetable oil and put on medium heat. If you use minced pork for cooking, then this amount of fat will be more than enough.

If you decide to use minced meat that is drier in composition, it is better to use a little more oil.


3. When the minced meat is half cooked, that is, it loses its blood-red hue, chopped onions and carrots should be added to it. Fry until the vegetables soften. Sometimes the mixture should be stirred with a spatula to prevent it from burning.


4. Pour pre-washed buckwheat into the pan.


5. Immediately pour in half of the prepared water. The remaining liquid should be added as needed.


6. Place bouillon cubes and bay leaf into the pan. If you want, you can first crush the cubes by hand.



8. Bring the dish to readiness under the lid. Buckwheat with minced meat in a frying pan should become crumbly and soft. If the water has boiled away and the cereal is still hard, add a little more water to the pan.

The beauty of the dish is that all the ingredients are accessible and always in stock. The main condition is the availability of fresh homemade minced meat, preferably from several types of meat. Pork and chicken, beef or pork, chicken and turkey are suitable: choose for yourself. In our opinion, the most delicious porridge will come from pork neck with veal brisket - such minced meat will be moderately juicy, and the porridge will turn out juicy and aromatic.

If you serve buckwheat with minced meat with fresh vegetables or salad, you will get a complete lunch or dinner.

You can take freshly frozen minced meat, but first let it thaw completely at room temperature.

For preparation we will need:

  • pork, beef 300 g each;
  • buckwheat – 2 tbsp.;
  • onion – 1 large head;
  • water – 3 tbsp.;
  • drain butter – 50 g;
  • greens - a large bunch;

  • 3 carrots;
  • 2 tbsp. buckwheat;
  • large onion;
  • water – 3 tbsp.;
  • drain butter – 50 g;
  • greens - a large bunch;
  • salt pepper;
  • non-fragrant oil – 50 ml.

Grate the carrots and cut the onion into cubes. Fry the vegetables in a frying pan, add the minced meat and fry everything a little again. Fill with washed buckwheat and fill with water. Buckwheat with minced meat is prepared quickly in a slow cooker. There is no hassle with the dish - the oven will cook everything on its own. And this dish also resembles the taste of dishes from a Russian stove - the grains are boiled, the dish becomes airy, and the porridge melts.

The porridge will turn out fluffy if you maintain the proportions of water and cereal in a ratio of 1:2.

Let's prepare the following components:

  1. Fry the onions and carrots in a frying pan.
  2. Add minced meat (preferably pork) to the vegetables.
  3. Place into containers.
  4. Fill with washed buckwheat so that it fills the pot halfway.
  5. Fill with meat broth or water.

  • a large onion;
  • Art. buckwheat;
  • unflavored oil;
  • salt pepper.

Finely chop the mushrooms into cubes. Fry the minced meat with onions and mushrooms in a frying pan. Add washed buckwheat. Add water and let it boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the cereal becomes crumbly. Mix the buckwheat and add the butter. We eat porridge with white bread, pickled cucumbers or tomatoes in their own juice.

Buckwheat with minced meat

You can prepare buckwheat with minced meat in an original way in the form of buckwheat noodles, that is, cereal cutlets. These buckwheat cookies are delicious hot or even cold, and are best served with sour cream, whipped cream and any pickles.

To prepare we will need:

  • cold buckwheat porridge – 4 cups;
  • minced chicken or pork – 300 g;
  • chicken egg – 2 pcs.;
  • salt pepper;
  • onion

Fry the minced meat with onions in a frying pan until cooked. Let it cool down. Break 2 eggs into the cold porridge and stir thoroughly. We form cutlets from buckwheat, and put minced meat inside each. Dip buckwheat in flour. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil. Fry the products until golden brown on both sides. Place the prepared buckwheat cutlets on a large flat dish and sprinkle with fresh dill. Cut a large onion into cubes or chop into thin quarter rings. Heat refined vegetable oil in a deep frying pan or cauldron and add onion.





We make the heat not very strong, a little stronger than medium, and fry the onion until a beautiful golden hue appears. While the onion is frying, cut the carrots into strips. Add to the onion, stir, fry for about another five minutes, soaking the vegetables in oil.





If you don’t have ready-made minced meat, before frying the vegetables, grind the lean meat through a meat grinder. We move the vegetables to the side and place the minced meat in the frying pan. We increase the fire to almost maximum.





Mix the minced meat quickly, breaking up any lumps with a fork or spatula. Then lightly fry and mix with carrots and onions.







Season with salt and ground pepper. For taste, add tomato sauce (optional, this is an optional ingredient). Fry the tomato for several minutes, reduce the heat to low.





We wash the buckwheat, changing the water several times. We choose specks and nigella. Pour buckwheat into vegetables with minced meat. You can first fry the cereal in another frying pan without adding oil, then mix with vegetables and minced meat.





Pour in two glasses of water. Add salt to taste immediately before the cereal has absorbed all the water. Cover tightly and cook for 30-35 minutes without opening the lid.





Buckwheat should absorb all the water and steam well. After turning off, leave the buckwheat to brew under the lid, and stir gently before serving. There is no need to stir the buckwheat during cooking; it will not turn out crumbly.

You can use minced chicken, turkey, or beef, but most of all I prefer to use minced pork. You can cook buckwheat with minced meat in a frying pan, in a saucepan, in a cauldron, saucepan or slow cooker. Yes, even in the oven this buckwheat will turn out great, so try it ;) Now let's start cooking!
