Bets on the outcome of a match are bets on the outcome of an event (team victory or draw). The probability of a team winning affects other markets (total, handicap, etc.). The outcome is the basis of the bookmaker's line.

In the painting, the market is designated differently:

• P1, home team or just 1 – the first team (athlete) will win;
• X – draw result;
• W2, guests or just 2 – the second team (athlete) will win.

There are also double outcomes:

• 1X – the home team will not lose;
• 12 – victory of any team (there will be no draw);
• X2 – the guests will not lose.

Example of a bet on the outcome

In the bookmaker line (usually on the left), select the sport, competition and match. Decide on the winner of the match and click on the odds. In the coupon on the right, enter the bet amount and click Put (Place a bet, Place a bet).

A bet on the outcome of a match in football or hockey implies the result of regular time, unless otherwise specified in the terms of the deal. For example, if the score is 0:0 and the winner is determined in overtime, the match is considered to have ended in a draw.

Types of bets on the outcome

Standard rates– outcome of regular time and double chance.

Outcome of the entire match– taking into account extra time, overtime, shootouts or penalties.

Outcome of time periods, for example, the result in the first 15 minutes or from the 61st to 75th minutes.

Other types: bets in halves (periods, sets); time/match bets.

Pros of betting on the outcome

High limits. The main money flow comes from the outcomes, which is why bookmakers offer the highest maximums on the 1-X-2 markets.

Favorable odds. On main outcomes and totals – the lowest margin. In legal bookmakers at popular events, the value is 1-3%.

Lots of statistics to analyze. Information about the results of past confrontations is publicly available. Use any sports statistics service.

Don't bet on obvious favorites. It makes no sense to play at quotes of 1.2-1.3. The leader is greatly overestimated by the players, so the bookmakers artificially lower the odds for their triumph. Why you won’t be able to make money on meager quotes, read.

16 Pharaoh hastily called Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned against the Lord your God and against you;

17 Now forgive my sin once again and pray to the Lord your God that He will only avert this death from me.

18 Moses He left Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord.

19 And the Lord raised up a very strong wind from the west, and it carried the locusts and threw them into the Red Sea: there was not one locust left in all the land of Egypt.

20 But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go.

21 And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand to heaven, and there will be darkness in the land of Egypt, even tangible darkness.

22 Moses stretched out his hand to heaven, and there was thick darkness throughout all the land of Egypt for three days;

23 They did not see each other, and no one rose from his place for three days; And all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

24 Pharaoh called Moses and said, “Go, serve the Lord; let only your flocks and herds remain, and let your children go with you.”

25 But Moses said, Give also into our hands sacrifices and burnt offerings to offer to the Lord our God;

26 Let our flocks also go with us, not a hoof will remain; for we will take some of them as a sacrifice to the Lord our God; but until we get there, we do not know what to sacrifice to the Lord.

Eighth punishment: locusts

10 The Lord said to Moses:

-Go to Pharaoh. I made his heart and the hearts of his companions stubborn, so that I could work signs among them, 2 So that you can later tell your children and grandchildren how harshly I dealt with the Egyptians and how I performed signs among them, and so that you may know that I am the Lord.

3 Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh and said to him:

-This is what the Lord, the God of the Jews, says: “How long will you refuse to humble yourself before Me? Let My people go to worship Me. 4 If you refuse, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your country. 5 It will cover the surface of the earth so that it will not be visible. It will devour all the little that you have left after the hail, and even the trees that grow in your fields. 6 She will fill your palaces, the houses of your officials, and the houses of all the Egyptians; Neither your fathers nor your grandfathers have seen anything like this since the day they settled in this land until today.”

Moses turned and walked away from Pharaoh. 7 Pharaoh's officials said to him:

-How long will this man keep us in his networks? Let these people go to worship the Lord their God. Can't you still see that Egypt is dying?

8 Then Moses and Aaron were brought back to Pharaoh.

“Go, worship the Lord your God,” he said. -But which of you will go?

9 Moses answered:

-We will go with children and old people, with sons and daughters, with flocks and herds: after all, we have a holiday to the Lord.

10 Pharaoh said:

“May the Lord be with you as I let you go with the women and children!” Beware, big trouble awaits you. 11 No way! Let only men go to worship the Lord, since you ask for it.

And Moses and Aaron were driven out from Pharaoh.

12 The Lord said to Moses:

-Stretch your hand over the Egyptian land and locusts will appear. It will devour everything that grows in the fields, everything that survived the hail.

13 Moses stretched out his staff over Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind over the land, which blew all day and all night. By morning the wind brought locusts. 14 She attacked Egypt, descending on the country in huge numbers. Such a plague of locusts has never happened before and will not happen again. 15 It covered the whole earth until the earth turned black. She devoured everything that was left after the hail - everything that grew in the fields and the fruits on the trees. There was no green left on any tree or any other plant in all of Egypt. 16 Pharaoh quickly called Moses and Aaron and said,

-I have sinned before the Lord your God and before you. 17 Forgive my sin just one more time. Pray to the Lord your God to deliver me from this misfortune.

18 Moses left Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord. 19 The Lord changed the wind to a very strong sea wind, which caught the locusts and carried them into the Red Sea. There are no locusts left in Egypt. 20 But the Lord made Pharaoh's heart stubborn, and he did not let the Israelites go.

Ninth Punishment: Darkness

21 The Lord said to Moses:

-Raise your hand to the sky and darkness, tangible darkness will fall on Egypt.

22 Moses raised his hand to heaven, and impenetrable darkness covered Egypt for three days. 23 The people could neither see each other nor move for three days. And the Israelites, where they lived, had light. 24 Then Pharaoh called Moses and said:

-Go, worship the Lord. Leave here only your flocks and herds, and let the women and children go with you.

25 Moses said:

“You must let the cattle go with us so that we can offer sacrifices and burnt offerings to the Lord our God!” 26 All our livestock must go with us, not even a hoof will be left. There we will select animals to sacrifice to the Lord our God, and until we get there, we will not know which animals should be sacrificed to the Lord.

27 The Lord made Pharaoh's heart stubborn, and he did not want to let them go. 28 He said to Moses:

- Get out of my sight! Don't you dare appear before my face! The day you see my face you will die.

29 “That’s right,” Moses answered. -I won't see your face again.

10:1,2 So, the seventh plague in the form of destructive hail impressed Pharaoh only for a short time, and even after that he did not let Israel go.
God called Moses again and reminded him why Israel was being led out of Egypt with such difficulty:
I have made his heart heavy and the heart of his servants heavy, that I might show these signs among them. - firstly, because God’s goal is to demonstrate His power in the eyes of Pharaoh and his servants who worship other gods;

and that you may tell your son and your son's son what I did in Egypt, and my signs that I showed in it, and that you may know that I am the Lord.
Secondly, Israel needed to strengthen their faith that the God of their fathers had come to their rescue, as he had promised Abraham.
It was important for God to make it clear to Israel so that the descendants of Abraham would not only recognize Him as their God, but also that the signs and wonders accompanied by the exit from Egypt would be passed down from fathers to children throughout all generations for a constant refreshment in the memory of the greatness of Jehovah: man is a being a weak and forgetful reminder of the One to whom they owe their liberation from the slavery of Egypt - should awaken gratitude in them and facilitate the emergence of a desire in them to worship this particular God.

10:3 Thus says the Lord, the God of the Hebrews Let us pay attention to the fact that there were much more Jews than the descendants of Israel: Abraham the Jew (Gen. 14:13) also had Ishmael, the son of the slave Hagar, as well as the children of Keturah, born to him after the death of Sarah (Gen. 16:15 , 25:1,2).
That is, these descendants of Abraham also knew the God of Abraham Jehovah. However, speaking about the God of the Jews to Pharaoh, Moses communicated about the God of Israel specifically: the descendants of Abraham from Isaac, Jacob (Israel).
It was Israel that was chosen by Jehovah to become the people of God (Gen. 25:5,6; 28: 1,3,13,14; 32:28)

10:4-6 If you do not let My people go, then, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts into your region: they will eat up what is left of you, what is left of the hail; He will also eat all the trees growing in your field...
Moses warns Pharaoh of the eighth plague if his stubbornness continues. The pharaoh was faced with a choice: either doom Egypt to starvation, or continue to resist and believe that his gods will protect his land from the harm of locusts.

Geneva: The gods Anuke, Vanebjeneta, Bastet, Isis, Nepri, Pta, Renetut, Sebeka, Sepa, Hapi, Heket, Khnuma, etc. were responsible for the harvest, fertility and vegetation in Egypt.

10:7,8 Then Pharaoh's servants said to him: How long will he torment us? let these people go, let them serve the Lord their God; Do you not yet see that Egypt is perishing?
Already Pharaoh's servants, the highest dignitaries of the ruler, finally noticed that competing with the God of the Jews was stupid. Before the consciousness of the Magi and the common people of Egypt, this insight came much earlier (8:19; 9:19-21)
Pharaoh listened to the arguments of the slaves, promising to once again release Israel, but again decided to show Moses that the head was here - he would still see whether to release them or not:
[Pharaoh] said to them: Go, serve the Lord your God; who and who will go?
This question did not solve anything, but was asked in order to remind of the supposed importance of his decision, although in fact any answer to it should not have become an obstacle to letting Israel go. However, Moses patiently and honestly explained Israel's intentions to Pharaoh.

10:9 -11 Moses said, “Let us go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, with our sheep and with our oxen, for we have a feast to the Lord.”

Pharaoh is again trying to take measures to keep Israel in slavery and, in fact, he was not very wrong in his suspicions: I’m ready to let you go: but why with children? you see, you have a bad intention!
He understood that Israel would not come back if he let them all go to worship their God, so he made his decision, again forgetting about who he was trying to compete with in power:
no: go [alone] men and serve the Lord, as you have asked.
By this time, Pharaoh’s slaves had also forgotten about their arguments for yielding to Moses and acted very rashly:
And they drove them out from Pharaoh.
We note that they did not ask them to leave, but treated God’s messengers with great disdain.
With all their actions, the pharaoh and his dignitaries showed how disgusting they were with these Jews, who dared to put forward their conditions to almost the god of Egypt - the pharaoh.

10:12-15 Well, they kicked him out - so they kicked him out, Moses’ job was to warn about the consequences of stubbornness. And if the option of sending locusts suits the house of the pharaohs, then please let them have locusts. No sooner said than done: Moses stretched out his rod over the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought an east wind over the land.
Let us remember that it was not Moses who performed all these miracles, but God standing behind Moses:
and the locusts fell upon all the land of Egypt in great multitudes: there had never been such locusts before, and there will never be such after this;

Naturally, everything left from the harvest was eaten by locusts and Egypt was doomed to starvation:
She ate all the grass of the earth and all the fruit of the trees that remained from the hail, and there was no greenery left on the trees or on the grass of the field in all the land of Egypt.

10:16,17 Pharaoh seemed to realize that he had acted rashly, even realized that he had sinned against the God of Moses and Aaron (although it was too late to complain about the locusts: everything had already been eaten by them by that moment)
Pharaoh hastily called Moses and Aaron and said, “I have sinned against the Lord your God and against you; Now forgive my sin once again and pray to the Lord your God that He will only turn this death away from me.
He understands that only this God, whom Moses serves, is able to avert complete disaster from Egypt.

10:18,19 Moses did not hold evil; if a person turned from his evil thoughts and ways - why not help him? We need help:
[Moses] left Pharaoh and prayed to the Lord. And the Lord raised up a very strong wind from the west, and it carried the locusts and threw them into the Red Sea: there was not a single locust left in all the land of Egypt.

10:20 However, God again did not help Pharaoh in enlightening his thoughts and mind: as soon as there was relief from the locusts, Pharaoh again returned to his stubbornness and changed his mind about letting Israel go:
But the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not let the children of Israel go.

10:21-23 The next, ninth plague for Egypt happened without warning from the pharaoh:
And the Lord said to Moses: Stretch out your hand to heaven, and there will be darkness in the land of Egypt, tangible darkness... and there was thick darkness throughout all the land of Egypt for three days; ..they did not see each other, and no one rose from their place for three days

As if to confirm the darkened mind of Pharaoh, God sent darkness to Egypt: this type clearly shows how darkness in the mind makes it impossible to see the obvious.
And this ninth plague, like all the others, was directed against the next “god” responsible for the light in Egypt:

Israel again did not suffer from this disaster, Pharaoh again has a chance to come to his senses and avoid subsequent stubbornness:

10:24 It would seem that the signs for Pharaoh were more than enough for him to understand the pointlessness of resisting the God of Israel. However, this time he does not want to admit his powerlessness and again believes that he can well afford to continue dictating his terms, not understanding, it seems, that in his position it is high time to stop being capricious:
Pharaoh called Moses and said: go, serve the Lord, let only your flocks and herds remain, and let your children go with you.

10:25,26 Naturally, the pharaoh’s pathetic attempt to set his own conditions failed this time:
Moses said: Let our flocks go with us, not a hoof will remain;

He was again shown that it was foolish in his position to bargain with the messenger of the God of Israel. However, respect was still shown to him: Moses considered it his duty to explain the reason why Israel could not leave a single hoove in Egypt:

for we will take some of them as a sacrifice to the Lord our God; but until we get there, we do not know what to sacrifice to the Lord.

10:27,28 Pharaoh took these details as a mockery for himself, for his conditions were ignored in absolute terms, without making one iota of concessions to him. Pharaoh became angry, anger again clouded his mind, and God again did not help him from above to “enlighten” and make the right decision:
And the Lord hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he did not want to let them go.

Pharaoh reached the point of complete madness: he not only did not let Israel go, but also began to threaten the messenger of God, forgetting that it was in the power of this God to incinerate both him and all of Egypt in an instant - along with him:
And Pharaoh said to him: Get away from me; Beware, do not appear before my face again; on the day you see my face you will die.

10:29 Moses was not very upset by these threats and did not contradict: it was not easy for him to go to Pharaoh himself, so Pharaoh’s threats were an excellent reason to free himself from the need to visit this stubborn and narcissistic ruler:
And Moses said: As thou hast said, so it shall be; I will never see your face again.
At this point, Moses’ meetings with Pharaoh stopped, and Pharaoh did not yet know what he had doomed himself and his country to in the near future.

And the Lord said to Moses, Go in to Pharaoh, for I have made his heart heavy and the heart of his servants heavy, that I might show these signs among them,and that you may tell your son and your son's son what I did in Egypt, and my signs that I showed in it, and that you may know that I am the Lord.

Moses and Aaron came to Pharaoh and said to him, “Thus says the Lord, the God of the Hebrews: How long will you not humble yourself before Me?” Let My people go, that they may serve Me;

But if you do not let My people go, behold, tomorrow I will bring locusts over your region:it will cover the face of the earth so that it will be impossible to see the earth, and it will eat what is left of you that has survived the hail; He will also eat all the trees growing in your field,and he will fill your houses, the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians, such as your fathers have not seen, nor the fathers of your fathers, since the day they lived on the earth, even to this day. Moses turned and left Pharaoh.

Then Pharaoh's servants said to him: How long will he torment us? let these people go, let them serve the Lord their God; Do you not yet see that Egypt is perishing?

And they brought Moses and Aaron back to Pharaoh, and Pharaoh He said to them: Go, serve the Lord your God; who and who will go?

And Moses said, Let us go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, with our sheep and with our oxen, for we have a feast to the Lord.

Pharaoh He said to them: so be it, the Lord is with you! I’m ready to let you go: but why with children? you see, you have a bad intention!No: go alone men and serve the Lord as you have asked. And they drove them out from Pharaoh.
